Reviews
The hotel staff is generally friendly and helpful, with a few exceptions. The location is convenient, within walking distance to various venues. The rooms are spacious and clean, although there are some issues with maintenance and housekeeping. The complimentary breakfast is a highlight, with a good variety and quality of options.

Stacia worked the bar area like a pro. She was the highlight of the visit. She was amazing. The snacks were terrible at turn down. The floor in that area was sticky the entire visit. The omelet bar was closed on Sunday morning. The photos online were outdated and there is no jacuzzi. They were conducting a remodel on our floor. It smelt like paint. Our door would not close correctly and kids ran around the hotel 24 hours a day.

Does not feel like managed by Hilton.

How nice and clean and everything was in the area. We will be back.
- 3/5
Below average. The room was not serviced one of the 4 days we stayed at the hotel. Also, an emergency alarm went off causing evacuations. Fortunately it was a false alarm.

Recommended! Service is top notch

The staff was amazing and let us have more than two drinks at happy hour

It is the second time we have stayed there, and we love the location, the breakfast, the staff is very friendly, but they should improve the door locks, because they don't get lock.

Restaurant staff was not good. Talked too much and not quick service. Breakfast staff front lady very rude and quickly pulled breakfast at closing and not letting grab final items.

They allowed us a later checkout since my husband had a conference and I had to still work. The water was shut off one day from 11am to 4pm. But they were very informative it was happening.

We stayed for 1 night but never again!!!The hotel itself was good. The issues we encountered where that a staff member went into our room about an hour after we checked in. He opened the door saying " I'm sorry, I thought there was no one here". That to me was very unprofessional and creepy at the same time!!! The other issue was that housekeeping came knocking at our door at 8:30 am (or a few minutes before) when check out is at 11 am.

The bathroom door squeaks. The room had a bad odor. The tv in the bedroom area did not work and there were no instructions on how to call the front desk. I tried dialing zero but that didn’t work.
- 3/5
When we checked in we were not told the water would be turned off the next day 10-3 but we saw it on a sign. We had planned on staying at the hotel some that day since we were staying 2 nights. Decided we would make the best of it. Water wasn’t turned on until 5:30. We really believed we should be comped a night stay.

Breakfast and location Room had hair in shower, smelled like smoke and toilet leaked water
- 5/5
The best one night stay ever!
- 3/5
Convenient location for North Dallas businesses, venues, shops, facilities. Large rooms. Room cost was reasonable. Hidden cost - parking on property costs $22 a day / night (!) - most hotels in the area offer free parking. Most days we were out of room all day, returning at 5 PM only to find room had not been serviced. Breakfast is mostly low cost carbs. Rooms are in need of refurbishment.
- 3/5
Typical embassy with all of the typical embassy amenities. But, the room we were in had such a moldy, musty smell it took your breath away and we all woke up with headaches the next morning. Also, went down for breakfast, finished eating and went up for coffee and the coffee gets shut off at 9am sharp. Asked if there was anywhere to get coffee since even model 6 has free coffee and was pointed to buy coffee at Starbucks. But, the breakfast was good and the pool was nice. Also a great view of the Roughriders stadium from our window. I just wish the mold would be gotten under control and they had basic amenities like free morning coffee.
- 2/5
The issues we had was that the room had mold above the shower were a leak had taken place. We did advise they said they would look at it never did.
- 5/5
Only 10 luggage carts for this size hotel? I would suggest either bell service of adding more luggage carts. We could not find one at 8 a.m., not even checkout time where we'd expect them to be in use.

Cons: It was a super busy weekend at the hotel with several sporting events and other events going on which made it hard to catch the elevator timely or find close parking. Parking was expensive. It was my fault for not checking but since the hotel was not in the city of Dallas (or other urban area with reduced land space), I wasn’t expecting to have to pay when there was ample parking (even if you had to walk a ways). The property can use a refresh but I think this is happening. We saw contractors in a few rooms on our floor but weren’t bothered by any noise. The shower in our room dripped and the cover for the AC vent fell when I turned the AC down. I jumped out of the way to avoid it falling on me. A few general upkeep things but maintenance was quick on both accounts. Otherwise pleasant stay and I would stay again.
- 3.5/5
The breakfast was very good. We had a water leak in out room and they put a blower fan in out room for the entire stay (4 days) and we had to hear the noise from the fan all day and night. This was very inconvenient. We were not given anything for having to stay at your hotel in these conditions. That is not what we booked your room for. We endured because we were 800 miles from home but I doubt if I will stay with you again because you guys did not try or attempt to make it right.

Friendly staff at arrival. Love the happy hour.

Staff was great
- 3/5
I like the fact that each room has its own thermostat. I didn't like the fact that the drain in the tub was clogged and that there was a bathroom. The microwave didn't work and the sink faucet dripped. There was also grasshoppers in our room.
- 4/5
Everything was good, the staff friendly , the place was very clean and nice. Only one thing the snacks and drinks could be better doing happy time other than that it was good
- 2/5
room smelled mildewy, carpet was damp, AC had to be turned to 66 to keep the room cool, one set of outlets in the bathroom did not work, the tub had paint chipping, the room was not serviced on Saturday when we asked because we’d be gone for 8 hours
- 3/5
Wasn’t amazed by the room for the price.
- 4/5
Very simple breakfast; the room was cleaned only superficially, and supplies were not replenished. They charge for car parking. Good location, with many shops and restaurants nearby. Quiet.
- 3/5
The ac could have been better. We had it on 60 and was still very hot.
- 3/5
Room was dirty. Probably overworked staff. Had crumbs in the sofa bed. Hair on the bathroom floor. Hole in the sheets. Stain in the comforter. I will come back because I like this hotel.

Everything was extremely well done. Only complaint would be the room never cooled down while we were there. Even at night the AC ran the whole time but never had to use covers on the bed and it was hard to stay in “living room” because it was too warm.

the tv did not work, the tub and shower water was very very hard to turn on and would on shut off all the way. Engineer staff was not much help, the front desk person was very nice.

Really great experience with this property and staff. All staff throughout the property were excellent and very friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable for my family of 5. We stayed in the queen double sweet. This room had two queen beds and a queen pull out couch/bed which made for plenty of space. To our surprise, they had a complimentary reception from 17:00 to 18:30 for adults which included a couple of drinks for each adult. The breakfast was also in the package which was great! They have the normal buffet style and they throw in an omelet bar which their staff cooks up a made to order omelet just for you. One more thing. The location is absolutely beautiful and perfect with lots of dining options.

- 5/5
Everything was excellent. The staff were really nice and friendly. They were there to answer all questions I had.
- 2/5
Found roaches in the fridge and the shower did not work. Staff were accommodating and helpful. Inconvenience to move rooms with little mobility. Was not aware that I would be charged for parking.
- 2/5
The floors in the lobby were sticky with cracked and chipped tiles everywhere. The staff was less than helpful both trips. Including the food manager Blake. Simple things like there was no trash bags in the trash cans, the safe not working, parking garage ark not working, among other things. I asked for the manager to call me and have yet to receive that call.

Great hotel with excellent breakfast and happy hour.

Overall, it was adequate and to be expected for Embassy suites. The staff was friendly and helpful. The check-in process was efficient and the attendant advised us that he would set us up without housekeeping and we would only need to request it. We accepted his recommendation, although it seemed like he was convinced that was what’s best. Fortunately housekeeping provided their cleaning service anyway which we appreciated. My 12 year old and 8 year old daughter chose not to shower because they didn’t believe the shower was clean based on the appearance and their observation. This was disappointing. Other than that the hotel lobby and breakfast areas appeared to be neat and clean. We likely won’t return.

Room 717 is where we stayed. The room had a damp smell throughout the stay. The floors felt a little damp, especially around the small refrigerator. The bathroom did not have a fan to remove the steam from the shower which probably didn't help the suite feeling damp throughout our stay there. The bathroom sink handles leaked water and on our last stay there the sink itself had a black substance flow into the sink from the pipes. I called room service and they came and asked if we wanted another room so they could snake the pipes, but it was our last night there and didn't want to make a big deal of it. They came back and vacuumed the sink clog, and we didn't use it the rest of our stay, which again was only the night and early morning as we left the hotel very early. Overall, it was an average stay. We really liked the breakfast.

I traveled to Frisco for my daughter’s cheer competition that was hosted in the same hotel. I felt safe knowing that I was near. The stay was comfortable.
- 5/5
The rooms were well kept and clean. We recommend this location for easy access to many locations. We had an event at the Comerica center. It was so easy no parking issue because we walked right across the street.

Everything was perfect in our corner balcony suite! Front desk staff was AMAZING!
- 1/5
The hotel was clean, the restaurant staff were very helpful, food was excellent and everything would have been perfect until the morning I checked out. The lady who assisted me was not pleasant, had difficulty making eye contact, and did not explain why I had to pay an extra $44 for parking. The only excuse I got was, “that’s what they charge”. I would have appreciated clarification and/or a more detailed explanation. I would highly suggest putting someone more pleasant in her position.

The room and the bathroom was clean and well kept. We enjoyed the room. I felt good about the hypo-allergenic room especially having dog friendly property, I assumed to have some smell or hair somewhere on the carpet, but it was very clean. I was impressed about how well they cleaned after each guest. Three things I wish they would improve on: the shower curtain smelled a little. They should replace that more often. The sofa bed was awful! Was not a mattress at all, more like a thick blanket with the frame digging down your back. I would definitely get 2 rooms so that we would sleep comfortably at night next time.

Prior to booking, I called the hotel to confirm if indoor pool was heated and staff said it was. When we tested the water was cooled and not heated. Very disappointing, also room at lowest cooling temp was still pretty warm

Clean pretty and cozy
- 4/5
The staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Kids liked the pool. But there are things that need to be addressed. Our room was missing a square of carpet, like it was cut out because of a stain and never replaced. The a/c in the room worked only ok-ish, never making the room truly cold. The tub faucet leaked. It was a nice stay, I just expected to not find these little maintenance issues.

The hotel was really pretty and the staff was very polite. However, the AC in our room didn't work well, even after we had maintenance come and "fix it". Also, note the hot tub is NO LONGER at the hotel. The hotel photos on their website have not been updated. We were quite disappointed about no hot tub, as it was one of the selling points. All in all, I would come back.
