Very friendly staff

The hotel was well kept and well run. The breakfast was good, as expected.

The staff in the front desk was helpful, but our room the shower didn’t work, they relocated us to a different room. Room needs an update, mattress on the pullout couch had some stains.

Customer service is wonderful! Ms.Pat was the best. She made me feel so welcoming!

Nice location. Comfortable stay. Friendly staff. There is a Bills bar directly next door with a fantastic billiards set up. The building, especially the second floor, smells of mold.

Very convenient in Frisco area, easy access to many roads, rooms were well air conditioned, with great features!

Close to universal, had a decent breakfast Dark, damp, depressing, smelled like mildew, carpets were damp feeling, beds were uncomfortable, there was something that looked like poop smeared on the curtains, the room was freezing and we could not adjust the thermostat, the pool was freezing, the hot tub is out of order, the whole pool area is covered in mildew, the eggs were too liquidy, the back door to the property doesn’t lock at night or require a key to enter, I think you get the picture.

This hotel is comfortable, clean, excellent service and it is just 6 minutes from Universal Studio Kids

We stay here often and always have a great experience. The only flaw this time was that the hot tub is broken. We use the wonderful, unique pool area every stay, but the broken hot tub was a downer. We plan to return in November, but may not if the hot tub is still no working.

The bathroom in 209 has mold on the ceiling. Heard water running at night and day in bathroom. Pool area is very loud. Limited pool towels. Hot tub is not working. I chose this hotel because they had a hot tub. Very disappointed when I got to it to find it empty.

The hotel was okay we had our kids with us and we didn't have any blankets or pillows for the pull-out beds we had to go ask for them but we did get a blanket and some sheets but they were out of pillows nor was the hot tub working and that's the reason I rented the hotel so we could have the hot tub in the pool and there was a family in the pool area eating and drinking so we left but the breakfast was good and the staff was nice just not up to our standards like we imagined..

Property is pretty dated and needs an overall face lift. Lots of minor maintenance issues such as shower head was loose and held together with a zip tie, toilet ran constantly, mattress pad on bed was wrong size.

Breakfast was delicious and had many options to choose from.

Crappy shower curtain, light fabric, no bottom magnets, design on curved curtain rod cauded curtain to no stay closed, causing water to hit bathroom floor, making me cheanup floor after every shower. Room designers really flubbed a simple fixture, leading over time to water damage. Also, no trash can by elevator, only one hidden in ice room.

The hotel smelled like it was once smoking was allowed

The hotel was pretty clean and so was the room. The restroom was a little dirty, I could see a bunch of dirt next to the sink like if it gets piled in there. Also, the restroom started to pick up a weird smell like urine and backed up toilet, I had to buy Clorox and wipe it down. The other only thing was how hot the lobby and elevators were!

The hotel is 2 miles from Universal Studios, so convenient. It's kept well but definitely an old worn out hotel. It needs upgrades. Breakfast is ok.

Room was not clean, mold on curtains from ac unit, walls were not cleaned, either ketchup or blood was on wall on left side of tv. Doors need to be sprayed with WD-49

El problema era que se sentía muy húmedo el cuarto, entrabas y aparentemente se veía todo bien, pero estaba súper húmedo, caminar descalzo en esa alfombra era incómodo porque se sentía húmeda y era asqueroso, la cama se sentía húmeda, y así fueron los dos días.

Best Hotel for the price. The breakfast area was well maintained, restocked and cleaned on the spot by one lady, which I think it made the difference in the stay. Good size bedrooms, and has a decent pool and hot tub. Free breakfast... everything you need.

Room was clean and maintained. No complaints there. The fridge did leak, which wasn't a huge issue but should be noted. No complaints. Would stay there again for sure if I'm in the area again.

Exciting was great. The downside to our stay was planning for our first night of swimming. We were told or was down for maintenance. We have four kids and we’re counting on the swimming night to be that night. It was a major bummer having to tell our kids there was no pool. We left town early enough to be able to swim and it was really annoying to not have that. Otherwise things were nice.

The only thing I did not like was the hotel had a smell and it just wasnt my cup of tea. The hotel room still had crumbs in the bed from last visitors. The note pad on the side of the bed was still written on by someone else. Just wasn't as clean as I expected, however the staff were very friendly and welcoming .

The entrance has a weird smell and so did the hallway our room was . not enough snacks at the convenience store in lobby. There were silver fish in the bath tub. The sofa had white stains and the sofa bed had a big brown stain on the mattress. The room phone did not work and neither did the WiFi even though it showed connected. We had to use our hot spot. Overall this hotel stay was not very convenient.

I really liked the property especially room. It was so convenient and neat and fresh. Outside it was ok ok because of the people around there was little awkward but overall the experience was amazing. Really loved the room and the stay. We enjoyed a lot.

Everything was great we’d hoped to have changed rooms but being third party we couldn’t. The pool was great as well as Breakfast and we were 12 mins from the new Universal and check out at 12 was awesome. When we arrived the AC was super cold already which was perfect for the Texas heat.

We stayed for 4 days and 4 night. The whole time we asked for the trash and fresh towels daily. And not once did housekeeping pick up our trash. And the only young black man that worked nights was any help. He was always polite and he would give us fresh towels. Other than trash not being picked up or not getting fresh towels. That was okay.

Not big on hotels to start with but i enjoyed the amenities. The bed was not acquired as it was too hard, the sheets had different color stains on them too. I’d much prefer an air bnb for the cozy side of staying.

Guy at the front desk in the morning was too busy on his phone to help guests. Could have been a little less rude I just wish they would open the pool earlier so the kids can get in some swim time before heading out to do other things.

I got bedbug bites and when trying to report it, the front desk staff ignored my request when I stated I wanted to speak with a manager. A coworker staying in the same hotel had bedbug bites in his room as well.

Water on lobby floor, on floor at entry of elevator and in elevator. Hotel was a little outdated and didn't smell clean. Water bug laying on floor in restroom. One of the blankets had a orange stain and the room had a smell of duty feet. That hotel has changed a lot over the years. I was disappointed.

We did find 2 bed bugs in our room, but they quickly changed our room.

The rooms are small but clean. Noise from the freeway was consistent throughout the night. The breakfast was excellent. if you stay, ask for a room not facing the freeway.

The room was clean;

Nasty, dirty room. It had a stench of wet dog. There was cockroaches, the floor was dirty, we didn’t have toilet paper, or a microwave despite of being in the room description. The ventilation was terrible. The bathroom had no extractor. Customer service was terrible. Front desk was rude. Our card keys never worked, we had to come down and have them reset a multiple amount of times. Our room never got cleaned, and when we requested it, we were told we would be on a waiting list. Elevators were slow and maybe not working properly, as we could never get on it in a timely manner. Tv did not work, wouldn’t power on. AC was hot no matter what we did with it. Beds were uncomfortable an had a smell. This was the most awful experience I’ve ever had. For the price I paid, I had higher expectations. I will never give you my business again.

Nice stay

First time visiting Frisco. Location was great. Breakfast attendants were kind and the breakfast was very good. Fitness center was nice. Rooms were good but very outdated. Mildew smell but kept fan on and it was fine. Beds were comfortable. Housekeepers were nice & efficient. Check in was smooth. Night audit agent & daytime female agent were kind. However, the front desk agent named Clarence was utterly one of the most standoffish & arrogant human beings we’ve ever met. He kept an ear pod in his ear during his shift, actively on personal phone calls and seemed annoyed when my mother requested housekeeping one time during our 4 night stay. Very unfriendly and should not be in hospitality. Then, while having breakfast, ourselves and other guests overheard him speaking loudly on his cell phone, patronizing someone that apparently works for him, as he is a coach for a second job, it was super disrespectful and unprofessional. It was very interesting to find out that the hotel receives many complaints, yet he is still working for Comfort Inn with this type of negative attitude and unprofessionalism. I previously worked in hotel management for properties in Miami Beach and this would not be tolerated after even one instance. It was the only negative during our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our time at this location. I would suggest that Michael, the hotel manager, get with Clarence and give him some one-on-one training on guest service and etiquette.

Just terrible

Location is good, staff was nice, our room just wasnt as clean as it should have been. There were spashes of nasty stuff on the wall in the bathroom and also near the nightstand. The room was presented well. All of the most common janitorial items were taken care of, but extra attention should be paid to the non satndard areas like the walls and doors.

Location was decent . The First Lady that helped me was awesome !! Very kind and helpful however during my stay the older gentleman that works the desk was rude and not very helpful seemed annoyed that I needed help with my keycards and basically called me stupid for messing them up . He seemed to be pre occupied on his phone and earbuds and seemed mad if anyone needed help ….

I booked a handicap room through Expedia. When we arrived, the man at the desk said that all of the handicap room were full & the one they had me in was not wheelchair accessible. We asked if they have a shower bench that i could use in the bathtub & he said, yes. We said that room would be ok & we could make it work if they had a shower bench. He said, "let me get that ready for you & you can come get it." 😏 So, we go up to the room & my husband went down after quite some time to get the chair. They guess they don't have a chair. It's already being used. (No call up to the room to let us know) The next morning we went to call to the desk to see if it was possibly available & the phone doesn't even have a cord connected to the wall! (Explains why we didn't get a call about the bench... maybe) we stopped at the desk to speak with the manager who was extremely apologetic & tried to make the experience right by moving us to an accessible room for our second night. While my husband went to pack, she discovered that room had a hole in the shower making it inoperable. So, she put us in a different room that has more room, but when we got to the room, it hadn't been cleaned. She has the room cleaned while we left to eat. Luckily, I had my husband with me on this trip or it could have been a very dangerous situation because there were no bars next to the toilet, not enough room to get close enough to the bed, & no way to access the shower. It was a frustrating trip!

The only real problem was that this super close to the main road. The road noise is loud all night . We actually changed hotels for the last night of our three night stay. Maybe bring your favorite box fan to mask the noise from the road at night?

This hotel is good but not excellent. It’s a budget friendly hotel with great staff. The room condition was good but the sofa set was not looking clean though. However you find good restaurants nearby which is very thing.

The rooms were nice, the breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, my best advice is make sure you get a room on the backside away from the highway. The highway noise is horrible!

I did not get room service for 3 days even when I asked. My trashed wasn’t taken out either and when I did ask for room service, they said they’d come and never did

The bathroom could have been cleaner the sink and bath had a little black mildew. We waited a few minutes at the front desk for someone to help us.

And the breakfast was excellent Isabella was very kind and such a great person very friendly and made us feel great we went to a funeral.and she made our morning great thank you so much for the comfort keep up the good work

Room was clean, there was plenty of space, breakfast has different options and was good enough, and our daughters enjoyed the pool and hot tub area (which was also spacious and not many people). Would have liked Housekeeping to come empty trash and refresh towels, though. We went down to the front desk for new towels and left our trash bags outside the door (they took it but didn't give new bags).

Room was not clean at all. Hair and cups and other guests stuff left in the bed.

Bathtub has cracked & water wouldn’t totally drain out. Had an ac/heater right beside the bed under the window…much too close & loud. Very old hotel

We are a family of 5, 2 adults 3 children. When asked for an extra pillow for the couch for the third child we were told the bedding you have in the room is all we have. There was no microwave in our room so we went down to use the microwave in the breakfast area and the light was turned off on us in the middle of heating up food. Overall a bad experience and wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel is not clean and very dusty need some renovation , only advantage is the location closed to Costco, HEB and some good restaurants
