AC was inoperable throughout parts of the building, over condition of the property has declined over the last few years, won't be returning

We have been coming yearly to spend weekend at Stockyards and nearby shops. The room we had was older, smelly and the tub took time to drain. We typically hang out in lobby and this time a guy name Nathan claiming to be owner caused chaos. We were a group of 14 and we were having a good time. He was going to kick us out. He was verbally abusive and the staff moved him away from us but he kept coming back to taunt us. Very bad experience to close out our trip. If he was a frequent visitor he needs to be controlled as staff said that he was a regular and visited the Cassidy often. We will not be returning.

Pillows are very flat. Need new ones. The sink counter was very low. I’m 5’5” and the counter was about 3 inches below my waist line. This was not a handicap room. Hubby is 6’1” and it was very short for him.

No hot water!!! No noticed and wast offered another room

I didn't like the carpet not having a deep vacuum and cleaning. After killing a roach and to clean it up I found trash and dog hair in carpet. The housekeeping did come to vacuum but just scarcely went over, I showed her where I killed the bug and will she go over it again. She did but the carpet as a whole was neglected. My serious disappointment is that the hotel doesn't block room for dog friendly. I feel uncomfortable in the rooms with the dog friendly allowance. How well do I know they sanitized the rooms and were the dogs sleeping in the bed and etc.. My opinion, pets should go to a kennel or hotel should block rooms for their courtesy to offer that type of accommodation and charge for it. Plus watch the the free breakfast buffet or breakfast buffet wording. Breakfast buffet means that the restaurant has a buffet with a charge.

The rooms actually smells like...

The reception staff was welcoming and nice. They initially offered us a room on ground level but that room smelled like mold! I almost cancelled my stay but time was late and decided to stay. They offered a room on the 5th floor instead. Although the room was clean, but it still smelled! not as bad as other one. We had clorox wipes and wiped the surfaces we can reach and sprayed some cologne and that made the room smell OK. We stayed the night, but I doubt I will come back again unless the place is completley redone. The hotel is outdated and I think something needs to be done to avoid having the rooms smell as they do now!

fyi they have a bar/nightclub in their lobby, I had to call in the middle of the night because someone was trying to get in my room and I was staying ALONE, and they blamed it on that and hung up on me so fast

Everything, good staff

Very dated, worn and in need of an update. They put me in a ADA room which was fine except for the bathroom. A very narrow shower with the shower head in the center and only a curtain. I’m not sure how even a person who would need it would be able to use it. Mattress was Adequate. Over all it was inexpensive enough but I wouldn’t recommend

Nice place to stay for the price, clean, staff is amazing sucks the bar is only open on Fridays.

I cancelled my rooms and Expedia refused to refund my money. They advised they could not get ahold of property department therefore no refund. Do not trust Expedia.

Great location and friendly staff. However the bathroom was disgusting. I only stayed one night so no point complaining, however the shower bar was falling off so I had to tighten it. The shower began to clog and some sort of something floated out. The tile has hair not from a head behind the door as well as one on the ceiling. Otherwise the room was what I needed on a short notice.

Breakfast

Eh staff is amazing maintenance don’t know how to fix water issues. Plus the night club being only open on Saturday is a disappointment. I won’t stay here as much while in town for work anymore.

Location and parking space

The toilet in 126 has been running for two weeks straight now I’ve told the front desk probably five times now not sure why maintenance can’t fix such a simple task. The bars are only open Friday has hardly any liquor in the nightclub is only open on Saturday now I come here for work and stay for a long time. After this day, I will not be staying at this hotel again as you can tell, it’s going downhill.

Well maintained hotel and lovely place to be, you have to pay your breakfast for $15.99 which I think it’s too much.

I stay here often on my way to Winstar, We make a day of it and enjoy the Fort Worth Stockyards. Great amenities, indoor pool, restaurant and bar! The staff always so nice and helpful! Love it!!

Me and the kids loved it. Had so much fun at the pool.

Reception Stunk Old Unclean

Very shabby. Staff unhelpful. TV Didn’t work properly and staff was uninterested. Light bulbs burnt out, lampshades with holes, plugs that didn’t work. I thought Radisson was a good hotel. I will definitely avoid stays with them in the future.

Nothing Dungeon. Tired. Freight train air con with exposed wiring. Completely doesn't stack up with all the suspect 10/10 reviews it's a 2.5. Bailed out after night 1 of 3 Staff couldn't have cared less why Bedroom view was a joke, the place felt dirty and needs to rename its elf motel 6. Drive on past do yourself a favour

Location to the stock yards Very tired decor, beds uncomfortable, only half the light bulbs were working in the room so very dark. Vendor machines not working properly and takes your money without dispensing drinks. Laundry facilities weren’t working and staff said dryer hadn’t been working for over a week. Advertised shuttle service doesn’t run. Staff at reception seemed disinterested in their job.

Older facility, outdated, hot water in shower would take a long time to get to you. Other than that personnel were very helpful. Very close to Stock Yards that was the reason for our stay.

As truck drivers we have a short amount of time off each week and we rarely stay outside our truck. We decided it was time to enjoy our time off. We specifically looked for a hotel with a pool, hot tub, and bar/resteraunt so we did not have to travel to enjoy our 34 hours. The staff upon arrival was kind and helpful. Our room was comfy and the bath towel luxurious. The pool was clean and beautiful. The issues we did not enjoy happened to be 2 of the 3 things we looked for. The hot tub was cold, colder than the pool, and the bar/resteraunt was closed because it was Sunday. Having to order out and not being allowed to purchase alcohol due to being Sunday was highly disappointing. Thank you for a good, quiet night sleep.

My wife and I and 2 teenage boys stayed in a double room. The beds were full size not queen. The AC was old and a wall unit the did not work well. The girl working the front desk was not welcoming.

Great place and location for the price. Room was clean and hotel was kept up well.

Whike I appreciate that you get what you pay for, the room was at best, adequate, and I believe put it in the same category as a $60 a night hotel. I'm sorry but that's how I feel. I did cancel my subsequent night on July 16th as we didn't want to repeat the experience.

To begin with the last at check in was rude and dismissive. The elevator got stuck momentarily. The hotel is extremely dated. The mattress was very lumpy and weird. Everything in the room seemed dirty. Toilets and showers made loud noises when the water was running. Overall, it was very disappointing.

Room was clean but old, bathroom the tub was slippery and it took a while for the water to drain. As for the staff well they were very friendly. Breakfast was good but was an additional expense.

Room smelled like mildew fridge didn’t shut it was leaking ac didn’t work WiFi didn’t work and the pool had a film over it. Got in late from long travel time, I called ahead, they cancelled my reservation anyway even though it was already paid in full and I called for pre approval before I got there so after traveling 14 hours, I had to wait even longer at the front desk to be able to get into a room.

My door was broken and room was not the cleanest. stayed here a few years ago and the property was definitely better back then.

Quiet rooms. Plenty of parking. Small gym and a pool. Beginning to show its age.

Staff were helpfull, breakfast was decent for 4 days but would have got boring had we stayed longer Our first room smelled of damp, we requested a change and got one no problem, the first day the cleaner came and made the beds and must have given up, we received only half the clean towels needed, the next day there was no house keeping at all so needed to get fresh towels from reception, the day before leaving room was made up well and 4 fresh towels.

Pictures show the hotel from like 20 years ago. Has a lot of wear and tear in the hotel room and the rest of the hotel as well. The couch was ripped up. The bedding had mold. The door key wouldn’t work because the lock on the door is so old. The phone in the room wasn’t even plugged in to call for service. They definitely catfished us with the with the pictures. The hotel hasn’t had the maintenance it needs to upkeep it for many years.

I had a pleasant time during my stay. No issues were had during the time. The room was nice and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. Easy access to all the fun things around town. There is some age to the building, but most everything these days has age. The hotel was full during my stay and I never heard anyone else.

This wasn’t the best experience, however the staff was very helpful and they did their best to help resolve the situation.

Hallway had scratches all down the hallway. There was an odor in the hallway between the lobby and elevator. The website said that breakfast was free, but when we got there, we had to pay for our breakfast each morning.

Well…the price was definitely what we wanted to spend, but it’s not what you’re looking for if you want a fancy weekend. The vinyl on the room chair was ripped up terribly and there was a chunk of wood ripped off the back of the bathroom door. It was just painted over. There was a ton of light coming in from the hallway when the door was closed. It was clean, and that’s all we wanted.

Overall, our stay was very nice! The rooms were very tidy, clean, and spacious. The bathroom had plenty of counter space and a good sized bath. However, the check-in staff was passive, almost unapproachable. Additionally, the room wasn’t checked on during the day (while we were out), leaving behind trash and dirty towels. There were also some broken components in the shower. The standing rod was loose from the wall, and the shower curtain was broken in a few places resulting in sharp, medal pieces being exposed. There is also no ventilation system in the bathroom.

The hotel was nice even though I found it a bit dated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I didn’t try the breakfast buffet.

The staff is helpful, friendly and always great. The rooms need to be remodeled. We’ve stayed there probably 30 times over the years. Leaky faucets. Card key system definitely needs an upgrade. Overall the location is great!

I thought because it was Radisson hotel it would be an excellent facility. The hall smelled like musky/mold. The furniture was worn/torn & needed to be thrown away!

Facility is a little outdated, had dinner on Friday nt and was decent, we were the only ones. Menu is minimal. Room was clean, bed squeaked and mattress very uncomfortable.

Hotel needs a refurbish but it was clean and the staff was excellent.

A/C wasn't working properly.. told 2 different staff members and nothing was done.

Setup was inefficient; everyone had to walk a long way just to get to the only elevators; then everyone had to park on one end because only certain doors worked with key card even though they all had signage that you could use a key card to enter; you could not. Grass needed to be mowed. Kids running up and down halls every night and day. Slow elevators. Our backs ached due to the poor mattresses. Would not recommend other than it was a convenient location for tourist stuff.

This used to be a good hotel they had a shuttle and a van to take you to the stockyards. The floors where dirty, I had hair caked to my feet that was not mine. My father in law slipped in the shower and cut his arm open. I will not be staying here again, for the price we should have just stayed in cow town since we had to pay for an uber.

Check In was easy and the staff was nice. The room was decently sized and the bed was comfortable. Having a mini fridge and microwave was nice as well. It was a little bit dated and not the cleanest but it wasn’t “dirty” per se. The connected bar Cassidy’s was actually pretty cool as well. Overall though, a decent stay that was budget-friendly and the location was also a plus as it was a less than 10 minute drive to both downtown and the stockyards.

The place just felt damp and the carpet felt wet.

The hotel was horrible. We got moved to (3) different rooms before we had a clean room. Water backed up in shower/tub. Carpet stinks, air conditioning sucks . I have pictures of it all and can provide for evidence. I asked to speak with the manager for (2) days and still no call or responds . We was offered a breakfast for the inconvenience and I demanded a refund for the first night stay. It was 76 degrees inside the hotel room and stunk. After trying to shower water almost overran the tub. Sink would not drain. The maintenance man told us he could not believe we were put in those rooms because they were not even supposed to be open due to the water conditions and drain issues. Multiple customers we talked with had the same issues in their rooms and was complaining about water back up., mildew smell in the carpet, a horrible environment an experience for someone who has traveled so many hours to stay at a nice hotel to find that it is not maintained at all. After reading reviews of the hotel stages of other people we have found that lots of other people have complained about this same issue for this issue to not be corrected before they allow people to rent the rooms for the premium price and will not refund the inconvenience of a stay. The hotel is run very poorly, and the staff is not friendly at all. We are going to contact Superior people concerning this situation and what we experienced after asking for a refund only of one night to be refused.

Constant hassle with keycard not working properly, staff was able to help. However, the amount of trips needed to go back to the front desk to fix keycard was not pleasant.

Tv didn’t work and no one came to do anything about it. Room smelled musty.

Nice hotel and conveniently located close to food, fuel and the stockyards

The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and the coffee was surprisingly good. The staff was friendly and the lobby bar was a nice place to relax in the evening. My only drawbacks were that it wasn't quite as quiet as I had hoped at times, and my room was a fairly long walk from the lobby. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying here again, especially for the value and comfortable accommodations.

Paid extra for a corner room and asked for highest floor possible. Was stuck on 2nd floor with only window facing a wall 5 ft outside and an ac unit. Room was clean but extremely outdated. Couch in room was completely worn out and kind of gross. Pool was closed. Says they attached to Cassidy’s which is true but they are only open 2 days a week.

The staff was amazing! The hotel could use an upgrade in wallpaper, carpet, etc. We had to turn on the water in the shower to get hot water in the sink and vice versa, so that was kind of a pain.

I’m honestly really disappointed with this stay. We paid a lot of money to be here, expecting to enjoy all the amenities, especially the pool, and it was completely unavailable the entire time. No warning when booking, no proper explanation, nothing. That was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, and it completely ruined the experience. For the price we paid, this was unacceptable. If you’re going to charge premium prices, at least make sure your amenities are actually usable or be upfront about closures. Definitely not worth the money.

Needs to be updated. Pictures are very deceiving as to the actual condition of the furniture. The popcorn filling in the bathroom was falling down two of the lights were almost out very dim in the bathroom. The nice chair in the living area had cracks and wrinkles, and my bedsheets had to be changed as they were dirty when I got there.

The rooms are smaller than expected and we where not given our breakfast vouchers and $16 is a bit steep. But other than that everything else was ok staff was heat and very helpful. Staff was great and very on point. The hotel leaves you lacking though has good look but lacking in room size and rooms in general.
