Reviews
The hotel staff is generally friendly and helpful, but the property is in dire need of maintenance and upgrades. The rooms are not well-maintained, with issues such as mold, broken air conditioning, and non-functioning outlets and TVs. The location is good, but the price does not match the quality of the accommodations.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Good location
- Poorly maintained rooms
- Overpriced for the quality of accommodations

Never disturb. Room was very cool with it being 110 outside. Bed was extremely comfortable. It is starting to show its age. Very clean but needs some paint. Nice TV but hard to get local station and very confusing channels. Just need to be basic cable never able to find the football games or current news.
- 4/5
There was a musty smell in the room. Overall it was good for the price.
- 2/5
The staff is nice. breakfast was not good. The room I had the TV didn’t work, kind of seemed like someone previously might’ve smashed it. It honestly kind of seemed like the room had not been cleaned. There were crumbs all over the carpet and an old chapstick that was not mine.
- 1/5
Floors and elevator were sticky. The smell in the hallways was horrible.
- 1/5
The worst experience I have had in a long time. I will not be returning.
- 3/5
The room was clean. The elevator was clunky and not clean, with something spilled on the floor. The check-in staff was not friendly or helpful at all. After a long day of travel, no one was behind the desk to check us in, came in talking on the phone and didn't even acknowledge us until about 10 minutes later. I was disappointed and wouldn't recommend mainly because of the rude staff.

Horriblest treatment ever

We enjoyed the location near Lake Worth. The guy on the reception desk was extremely helpful.

Everything was great the breakfast great

My kids and I checked in for a fun mom night away and didn’t stay longer than 10 min. Every area of the hotel had a bad smell, the elevator reeked of weed and had messes on the floor. Some of the lights didn’t work in our room that smelled bad, the kids cried because they felt scared and we left.

Nothing The rooms are very old and had a smell to it. The bed sheets looked old and stained. The carpet was disgusting. It was definitely not like how it looked online in pictures. Very disappointing we left within minutes of checking in and requested a refund.

We like LaQuinta, and I stayed there 2 yrs ago, however it has really gone down in 2 yrs, the food was ok, eggs could have been better, coffee was great. Rooms clean but no soap for shower just 1 small sample of body was to was hand with, bought my own soap...did not have much interaction with the staff, bed was a bit soft...all being said it was ok for what we needed but should have been a bit better
- 2/5
The floor was bad, outlets didn’t work, tv was from the 80’s.
- 2.5/5
Felt unwelcomed with service dog and side entries/exit doors were locked and not working according to staff which made it very inconvenient. No room amenities (soap/shampoo)were available. Not good experience being my last stop on a family vacation.

Room smelled like animals had stayed there. The beds were not clean at all. The cable didnt work and they had no remotes to the televisions. The phone didn't work at all and it was very hard getting someone at the front desk. Water pressure was extremely poor. Can't recommend to anyone staying there. It was truly a poor property. Had to cut my stay short. Won't be back there again!

- 3/5
Nice location mm
- 2/5
The carpet in our room was wet. Black mold was apparent. We did not stay the second night we were supposed to.
- 4/5
Location nice views
- 3/5
The room needed repairs badly. There was only one sheer curtain panel on the window, the toilet seat was loose, the toilet paper holder was broken, and the shower diverter did not fully work, sending only maybe half the water to the shower head and the rest just kept coming out of the tub spout. By the time we discovered the extent of the issues it wasn't worth asking to change rooms. You can tell that housekeeping was doing their best to keep the rooms clean, but the maintenance was lacking. When I tried to tell the front desk staff about the issues with the room on check out they were not interested in hearing it.
- 4/5
The people who run this hotel are nice. It is an older hotel but it is reasonable and staff is nice. Hotel could use a lil makeover. But it’s convenient. They could get better sheets though
- 2.5/5
Musty, needs repair (faucet, bathroom flooring, caulking in tub)

Same breakfast everyday and always short staffed on house cleaning so had to do my own cleaning and never even got credit for it !!

Definitely not recommending this facility cleaning is not a priority very old furniture and dirty ! Exercise room machines not operating!! Old TVs very few smart and did not get a smart even after I requested!! NOT SATISFIED AND WILL DEFINITELY NEVER RETURN!!

Básico, pero cumplidor para el precio
- 1/5
Honestly, not a great place to stay and definitely not worth the price. Our first hotel room wreaked of cigarette smoke and had trash still in the trash cans. We asked for a different room, which they thankfully gave us, and it had stains all over the couch/chair, the floor seemed dirty, and hardly any water pressure. We tried to get a refund and it wasn’t granted so we ended up just going elsewhere. If it was a cheaper stay, the dirtiness wouldn’t have been the worst in the world but considering the price, I won’t ever be staying there again. Staff was nice but not worth it, just stay somewhere else.
- 5/5
Very Safe police presence all night long , it's the Po Po's highway turnaround point for highway traffic observation .
- 3/5
Although the hotel was clean- it smelled like a dirty wet towel that has been sitting for days - it was VERY humid in the room.
- 2/5
Overall facility is dirty. No internet. Room was not maintained. Floors were sticky and gross.

👌
- 2/5
Property has a lot of potential but needs A LOT of maintenance. Upon entering, landscaping is very much needed, very stale & musky scent walking in, hallways where carpet is seems like it hasn’t been vacuumed in awhile, wear & tear of the walls, elevator. Our room was a great size & very comfortable, but the same musty scent & room was a little humid. AC unit kept making a noise throughout. Great location but just updates & upkeep needed.

The thermostat on the AC in the room did not work during the day when it was 100° and the AC stayed on all the time it worked just fine at night when it shut off it would not come back on you can imagine how hot it got I'll talk to the manager about it I asked him to give please give me another room he said there was not one available they sent a service man up to look at it he said it's working now I spent two nights in a living hell too hot to sleep totally miserable and I got the pleasure of paying for it I would not recommend that place to a dying dog
- 3/5
It was ok but the water pressure was low , no room service, and improper storage of food items under a cabinet. Lastly , no phone in room for the front desk.
- 1/5
Room 214 was filthy. Hair in the bathroom and bed sheets thrown in the floor by the door. Cup stains in the night stand. A towel had mud stains. Someone from front desk was knocking on the door 15 minutes before check out
- 4/5
The room we were given hadn’t been occupied in a long time. The bathroom sink water came out with a grey color. Lots of air in the plumbing. We were told it was a city thing about the water. The water pressure was poor. There was no hand soap when we arrived. There was no extra toilet paper. We had to get these items.
- 3/5
Too many strange people criss crossing between both hotels on that Hill . Several people ; undesirable youngsters constantly in the parking lot & homeless man sleeping on North , unlighted sidewalk
- 1/5
I expected better for La Quinta hotel! It smells like mold, the rooms I do not have anything nice to say about them! There wasn't any hot water! La Quinta should be ashamed to have this hotel associated with their name!!!

- 5/5
Excellent stay everyone was helpful and very friendly!
- 1/5
Front staff was not friendly. He was more focused on whatever he was doing on his personal laptop vs helping me check in. Once i arrived in my room, i saw a baby roach right beside my door. There was a old odor as soon as we entered. Our sheets were wet. I immediately went back down to complain. He did move us to a different room. The smell was better but one night, we saw baby roaches AGAIN in my bathroom, there was ants along the window seal, and also we saw bed bugs. The pictures definitely dont match the environment. This is a very old property
- 3/5
The hotel staff were very nice. The hotel did need to be cleaned. Our room had used tissues when we checked in. The elevators needed a good clean.
- 1/5
The hotel was filthy. No cleaning staff on duty to change prior occupants’ dirty scratchy, hole filled sheets. Air conditioner was no fully functional…not a good thing for summer in Texas. Pool area was filthy. Breakfast was inedible. Bugs on the muffins, on floors, etc. Terrible experience. I think it would benefit Expedia to remove this awful place from its website.
- 2/5
The room definitely needs remodeling there are holes in the wall, a huge dip in the floor as you’re walking in. I swear it looked as though someone tried to break into the room before, by the dents and damage before you walk in. There is a hole in the tub, hair on the sink, dirt on the walls and knob. The shower head sucks ass, looks like build up from ages ago, the water pressure, horrible, last but not least to the child that walked and stumped upstairs until 1AM shame on the parents smfh!!!! Oh and the customer service yeah horrible he’s Indian and I swear it seemed like he hated being there no care in the world and I needed linen for my son he said there was none but when I was persistent I guess it appeared out of thin air, sir quit your job.

The hot tub didn’t work and was green and the bed was very very uncomfortable the best part was the receptionist Courtney I think was her name. The bed was the issue and the room didn’t stay cool enough.
- 5/5
Great hotel ! Price was good and rooms were clean. Beds were very comfortable. With the exception of the clerk that was there the night we checked in ( he was rude) the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would stay there again.
- 3/5
Seems like the air is controlled by staff, The breakfast area was filthy!!!! There was waffle mix all over the wall, the trimmings, other appliances as well as the counter.
- 5/5
The staff
- 3/5
Wouldn't stay there again, the breakfast was gas station like. The room smelled like wet dogs..They gave us a room with wet carpeting and did not even attempt to put the two rooms together that I booked together.

Old,dingy and wasnt the cleanist.
- 1/5
The rooms had a hole in the wall. The curtain was ripped. The elevator made a popping sound, and it was really rough ride. The floors were popping out the comforter was ripped. I waited about 20 minutes or so to get checked in again to get checked out.
- 3/5
Unfortunately this LaQuinta is not as well kept as bigger ones. From cracked floor in the bathroom to the a/c barely working and LOUD . my experience was not very good especially with the lack of sleep. I know you get what I pay for. Unfortunately I over spent just for one night. I will not stay at this Hotel chain again
- 3/5
Not the worst, not the best. It’s a La Quinta. It was decent enough to get off the road for a night. But personally would move on if I could
- 1/5
The staff barely noticed I was there. The room was disgusting. From the moist/damp carpet that was pulling up from the ground, to the stains on the chair and ottoman, to the molded walls pulling the tiles off in the bathroom, to the GREASE STAINS on the headboard from the heads of those who had stayed in the room before us and clearly not washed off. We weren’t given water bottles upon arrival. There was constant water puddles in the hallway.. we came back to locksmith people getting into our room to change out a lock… so we would have been locked out. This was an awful experience and an awful hotel. We took the loss and went across the street to a Tru hotel and it was sooooo much better. I immediately took a shower because the shower at this La Quinta didn’t make me feel cleaner. Don’t stay here. It’s not worth saving the $20/night.

The room smelled a little musty the bathroom floor was like ceramic tiles that had cracks all in them, the sink was cracked and glued back together on one part then the whole sink was coming off the wall. Breakfast was terrible and they had the same thing both mornings. The carpets needed vacuuming from the lobby to the hallways to the rooms. Definitely not worth what they’re charging. Was surrounded by many close fast food though so that was a plus.
- 3/5
Hallways are very muggy and the ice machine would leak everywhere. Breakfast was decent. The staff was friendly and helpful. Some, but not all of the outlets worked in the room. No blow dryer in the room. The front desk had to go get one from another room.
- 3/5
They had no pillows for the pull out bed in king suite and acted annoyed when I asked for a pillow as if it was a weird question.

Dirty dated room, hard to check in. Homeless people around the property. It was cheap for a reason. It looked like there was bood or something all over the box springs. Just nasty.

The Lysol oder was overwhelming.

Just okay for overnight layover, should have been 1/2 the price.

- 2/5
The only person who was nice was Courtney. The other staff were rude. The fridge was broken, the coffee pot broken. Beds were super busted up. Don’t stay here
- 2.5/5
Passable
- 2/5
The bed is so high that I had to sleep on the pull out couch with the flimsy mattress. There was no sheet on it so I just slept on the mattress itself. I injured myself when I lay down too hard because of the thin mattress. The desk chair arm was broken. The bathroom floor was sticky. The electric outlet in the bathroom did not work. There was only one working ice machine in the whole building. But the most disappointing part is how unfriendly the front staff was. The person that checked me in did not even look up from the computer to look at me when I went to the desk to check in. When he spoke, his tone was very unfriendly. I do not recommend this hotel.
- 1/5
The bathroom was in even worse condition. The floors were lifting, there were dark spots around the tub, and the water would not drain properly while showering. We chose to stay only because it was very late when we arrived. Unfortunately, the issues continued during our stay. It rained heavily one night, and water began leaking from the top of the window frame into the room. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not choose to stay at a La Quinta Inn & Suites again.
- 1/5
The smell when we entered the facility should have been enough of a warning to ley me know how dirty everything was. My shoes were sticking to the floor, the elevators smelled like Marijuana and the floors were a balmy 85 degrees.
- 5/5
Room was nice. Stayed here many times over the years. Will more then likely stay here again.

This property was EXTREMELY disgusting! Stains on the mattresses, rusted bathroom sink coming away from the counter, horrible smell, lobby was dirty, elevator was scary to ride our room had the room number written in Sharpie marker. Dirty mattresses laying behind the building! Do NOT stay here!

The night staff lady was the only saving grace to this place. The elevator was sticky. The door had to be lifted to close or it made the most horrible sound. The bathroom floor tiles were cracked and loose. The ceiling looked as if someone started to paint it and forgot what they were doing. There was a random pill left in the drawer of the desk where my daughter was drawing. Had to where shoes the whole time since walking in socks turned the bottom black. When looking under the bed for something we dropped, there was trash under the bed from previous people. The telephone was on the night stand with no cord to the wall. The 1st day's breakfast was decent but day 2 was horrible. No bread, bagels or muffins. No spoon for the eggs and when I asked, the manger tried to tell me the spoon rest was they spoon.
- 1/5
The food area was extremely dirty and never cleaned for our entire stay! Food quality was poor. Exposed electrical wires were seen in a food warmer. The room was not cleaned for 2 days. The side door fire exit was not operable. I have pictures of the food area I planned on sending to the health department!
- 4/5
I left the property early because a large dog was continuously barking.
- 2/5
Dirty halls elevator. Run down
- 3/5
Bathrooms need work shower head needs replacing smell like dogs staff was ok
- 1/5
The room and property in general was dirty. The hallway and elevator smelled like urine.
- 3/5
I enjoyed the stay i just didnt like that the room wasn't in such good shape and the pool was closed. So that really ruined it for my kids.
- 2/5
The staff was very nice but the mattress was disgusting. There were mattresses outside when I pulled up? I asked for a new room and the staff was very nice and gave me a new one. But those mattresses were gross too. Cried. Would get my money back if I could. 0/10 don’t recommend sorry
- 2/5
The breakfast was not very good, quality wise. The shower didnt drain and would flood the whole bathroom. The elevator was sketchy feeling. The staff wasnt very friendly and on their phones. The rooms were not well lit.
- 4/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Everything seems good esp the staff and breakfast. Room air conditioning is out of work and need to be mended. Luckily, the weather is very cold outside but I we still feel warm enough.
- 3/5
Room smelled like someone had just finished smoking something very potent in there, despite it being a “smoke free property”! Pool was “Closed” despite looking operational. Juice machine was “out of order” and no alternative was offered to drink with breakfast. Even the water dispenser was empty for the entire breakfast period, despite customer inquiries. No microwave in breakfast area to warm up water for the plain oatmeal. Bathroom flooring was peeling up with large cracks between the planks. Had to lay towels down to prevent feet from touching nasty debris in the crevices. On a positive note the beds were comfortable and place was quiet. Low priced, but for good reason!
- 3/5
The metal bedframe wasn't put together properly. It scartched up my calf. Carpet in room tore up. The juice machine was out of order. The scramble egges were bland, & the pool was closed.

I had no working air conditioner in my room. I spoke to the front desk snd nothing was dine. You could see into the room from the wallway. Elevator had no been properly inspected in over a year. Hallway smelled.

Just not comfortable at all
- 4/5
Everything was good. The prices were better than surrounding area. Ice machine not working on any floor. Everyone was pleasant and it was a nice, peaceful stay. Room was very large and comfortable. Breakfast was good
- 2/5
This was a last resort as Expedia screwed up our reservations and there were no other options. The location of this hotel is very sketchy and I did not feel comfortable/safe as I was with my daughter. The building is very ran down and old. It's hidden off the road and behind a place called "House of Blades" which was creepy in itself. The remote to the tv was nasty and the channels would glitch, so you really couldn't watch tv. When you close the curtains, that were barely hanging, it would cover up the air conditioner, so the air was being blocked by them. There was a bad odor in the hallway and also a smell of cigarette smoke, even though we the sign on the wall said No Smoking. I can't speak on the staff because ofther than checking in, we never saw anyone.
- 4/5
The room and bathroom were clean. The staff person at the front desk wasn't the friendliest person. The breakfast buffet included eggs, sausage, bacon, breads, juices, coffee, water, waffle maker, and some cereals. Overall the hotel was a nice place to stay.
- 1/5
It smelled and was worn down looking. Just gross. I would not book that place again or from your website again.
- 5/5
Great rooms and great staff.
- 5/5
Everything was good!!!
- 5/5
Friendly staff Courtney at the front desk is so nice and pleasant to deal with. Very friendly and accommodating. Clean room and excellent service.
- 3/5
Room was clean and staff curteous. Breakfast was horrible - plastic tasting eggs, stone-like biscuits, weak/tasteless coffee, cardboard sausage.
- 1/5
We got a room on the first floor. Door looked like someone had pryed it open before. door jam looked glued together. Paint smeraed everywhere. Then when we went to bed got woken up at 1 in the morning to someone running back am forth. one point sounded like they were crawling on walls. Then Heard someone at our door. When i tried to to call front desk the phones in room didnt even work! my husband googled the # to call the front desk. The noise stopped for like 10 min started again till 4 in the morning! Maybe longer but then i f
- 3/5
No hot water in the bathroom sink. The shower was stuck 1/2 between bath or shower so water came out both shower head and the faucet. Heater worked great so that was a plus but we survived the 26 artic blast
- 5/5
Kind staff and always clean.
- 1/5
Firstly, our door looked like it had been broken into, you had to slam it to get it to latch closed. Our refrigerator was broken and smelled of fish, I let management know and they said a maintenance person would come and never did. I had to go out and buy a cooler to preserve the food I brought. One of the two ice makers on site was broken, I was only able to get a quart of ice from the one that was functional. The phone cable outlet was hanging out of the wall. The tv in the bedroom would not turn on. I did not see one house keeping staff for the three nights we stayed. I set trash outside the door and it sat there until we left three days later. The couch had nasty white stains on the arm rests. To top it all off we had to kill a cockroach in the room. Will not be back. Best Western across the highway is a better option.
