Fairfield Inn & Suites Fort Worth Downtown/Convention Center

The stay was really awesome.

We always enjoy staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites when we visit Fort Worth. The location is convenient, the hotel is clean and comfortable, and it’s become our go-to place for our Fort Worth trips. The staff is always incredibly helpful, professional, and friendly, which makes our stays even more enjoyable. The breakfast is great and offers a nice variety to start the day. We also love having the bar on-site, and the happy hour is definitely a plus! Overall, we’ve had wonderful experiences here and highly recommend this hotel. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to Fort Worth!

Upon check in there was only 1 person at the front desk. She was having issues checking people in and could not get intouch with her Manager. She then proceeded to shut her computer down and could not get back into the system. People were on line for over an hour at this point. They did nothing to compensate. This property is currently under construction as well and that was not mentioned when I booked. Not worth the money or aggravation.

I would like to recognize the two excellent Front Desk people. Jasmine and Clarissa! They handled themselves with incredible professionalism! At check out the system went down and Clarissa did everything she could to stay calm and help us. The location was incredible! Just across the street from the convention center! There wasn't a pool, which would've been great. I used a third-party booking company and because of the construction that was going on, they canceled one of my rooms without telling me. Please call in a week before at least when you are traveling there to make sure you have a room. Not fun!

Loved everything about this stay. The breakfast was adequate. Construction was going on so that was something to work around. All in all, great sta One of my reservations was cancelled and I did not know about it until a few days before we were checking in. I asked the girl at the front desk (not Jasmine or Clarissa - they were GREAT!), over the phone before travelling, WHY I was not notified of the cancellation due to construction. She said, "This is a 3rd party booking. You will have to ask them." I contacted Booking.com and they had no such notification. One room was quickly booked outside of booking.com. Sad! We wanted to all be together!

This property is quite 1 min walk to the convention center. The staff were amazing. It is undergoing renovations but it was still clean and well maintained.

Excellent hotel for downtown Fort Worth. Great location, free hot breakfast, easy walkable location. Yosh (front desk) provided exceptional service. He deserves a raise, and a promotion. He was much friendlier and more helpful than his boss. The parking valets were helpful and friendly. Ronaldo was especially tip-worthy as he helped with some rental car challenges. This hotel provides excellent value. Strongly recommended.

The property was under renovation which resulted in some inconvenience.

The hotel is easily accessible from the highway and is very close - walking distance- to downtown shopping and restaurants. If attending an event at the civic center you will want to know the hotel is across the street from the civic center. Last important fact, the hotel only has valet parking, there is no self parking on site.

Our room was fine but something to be aware of...there are no parking lots so guest have to use valet parking which is $36.00. We were in a truck so it was $50.00. We waited on someone to park our truck for 30-40 minutes. They said that was not normal so I hope not because it was definetly inconvenient for a late evening check in.

Dirty carpet, needs to be replaced or deep cleaned, dirty carpet accumulates germs and bacteria. Outside lounge had torn seats, and homeless people sleeping down below. Not a pleasant experience with outside seating.

Good location with easy walking distance to Sundance Square, local restaurants and public train and trolley services. In house breakfast options were very limited. Gym facilities were basic yet functional.

Expedia was terrible. However, the people at the hotel very very kind and helpful as we were camped out in their lobby trying to find a place to stay. They said Expedia wouldn't give them our contact info, or they would have contacted us themselves, but they had contacted Expedia earlier so they would let us know the sitiation.

Very good

The bedding was dirty, used bandages in the sheets; the towels were very rough; the room in general was just dirty; and the tv has spots in the screen where the lcd had burned out. The outside balcony area was neat, but very worn out cushions. In general- things looked like the pictures. I’m just really grossed out and disappointed because of what we paid.

On my reservation I requested to have a walk-in shower as I had a medical condition that prevented me from getting in and out of a tub easily. I was given a walk-in shower but I thought it would be a ADA bathroom with grab bars also. There were no grab bars and the commode was not ADA either. Bed mattress is very hard which was not good for my back, although the pillows made up for it. I won't be staying at this property again. I will say Clay at the front desk was very helpful when we as out of towners were trying to navigate where certain tourist spots were located.

Good area. Easy access to almost everything. Directly across from The Convention Central. Super nice staff. Cons: Housekeeping only by request. Rooms are small. The beds were extremely hardy-(after 2 days, both my husband and I had back aches). Breakfast was bare minimum.

Staff was great

Came on a sunday and bar was closed so that was a bummer. front desk staff was very sweet. Loved the mini grocery store which was very helpful for late night hunger.

Breakfast was cleaned up an hour early didn’t get anything I would have wanted. The coffee tasted horrible. Burnt and gross. Also check out went without given a receipt of payment and or cost. Won’t be staying again

Everything was great! From the time we checked in with Alex, he was so professional, friendly & accommodating! He made some great suggestions for food, transportation & activities! Very pleasant! The room was nice, clean & great service. Valet parking was very easy & fast anyhow needed the vehicle. When we’re back in the atea, we will definitely stay here again!

Staff was not very informative, valet had to wait when person to retrieve vehicle was sitting in personal car. Water was finicky about getting hot. Breakfast not good, no fruit, no oatmeal out

The staff was excellent. Very friendly and readily available. The breakfast was very good with a great variety. The bed was uncomfortably soft for me, so I didn't sleep well. It was difficult to access the hotel for check in unless you pull into and block the valet parking area. The room smelled overwhelmingly like bleach.

We rode the train in for the weekend. They gave us a courtesy early check in and let us keep our linage til it was time to board the train! Grateful for the extra mile they went!

Everything except the juice had dairy. I requested at least a plant-based milk option, but they refused to provide it. They could only offer potatoes that did not have cheese on them. Very substandard service compared to what I generally receive normally at a Marriott.

Floor stains, large & roomy, comfy bed, living, balcony, bathroom/shower. Hot hot water. Friendly staff. Elevators. Valet parking. Minifridge. Closet. Plenty of seating for breakfast with a decent spread.

I did not like that there was no self park option, only Valet. I also did not like that when I chose to go for a walk I saw a man squatting in the bushes by the fountain behind the hotel. Inside the hotel was wonderful.

Valet parking is only option on property—it took a long time each time to get car. Inconvenient & time-consuming. Confusing upon arrival of where to go. Poor service: room was never cleaned. Never informed about 2nd floor loft/outside feature. Nothing in room about options/area. Had to use key card to enter lobby—a hassle. Poor lighting in room.

Staff was great! The fire pit wouldn’t work but other than that it was a great stay! Highly recommend Alex for any help!

The shower did not have hot water. Staff was accommodating and provided an alternate room. Parking expensive, not convenient. Breakfast was actually good. Clean facilities.

No parking on site, water pressure is not the strongest, hot water is not great either, staff is not that friendly, the elevators has a dirty odor I can’t even describe; felt safe though and pretty secure area. Downtown is one of the cleanest city I’ve been to. Nightlife around the town is a plus.

The room was nice. I had a balcony with a nice walk in shower and a king bed. Staff was friendly and helpful. No self parking available, needed to Valet park.

I didn’t have hot water

We were there for five days at which time the hotel had been without hot water for 10 days. This is totally unacceptable. I complain to Orbitz and I complain to Marriott with no satisfaction. My only choice was to try to find a different hotel in downtown Fort Worth. At which time there was a conference going on at the convention center.

There was no hot running water. The staff were friendly, place was clean but no consistent hot running water during my stay.

The good part is it’s extremely close to the convention center. Normally, this hotel would be well under $100/night but it was $200/night because of the event at the convention center that weekend.

I tried checking in early. They said they didn’t have availability but forgot to mention that they didn’t have hot water in all rooms. First night showered with warm water.

For the price, it was fine-we are locals and we just needed a place closer to the wedding venue to change in and out of. There was no hot water but they gave us free points for a future trip. The internet & TV was slow and laggy. But the room was decent, the bed was clean and comfortable.

Again, staff was its only saving grace.
