Motel 6 Dallas, TX - Farmers Branch

Place was absolutely miserable; from the staff to the facilities, every bit of the experience was awful.

We were in farmers branch for a concert in Dallas and enjoyed our safe motel. The price was right, the room is clean. The parking lot was lit and the AC was cold.

No electricity in the room, only one light from the bathroom the rest of the light not working at all ,

Room was clean but bed and pillows were uncomfortable but this is what this type of place gets you. Overall great for a quick stay.

I didn’t like that I had a family emergency in they wouldn’t give me a refund because she said I booked for seven days in they said it was in policy that I couldn’t get a refund for the 2 days I didn’t stay

I’m not one to leave negative reviews especially considering my expectations weren’t high for a motel 6 but I will NEVER stay here again or recommend anyone else to. This is place was not only gross and filthy, it had ROACHES! I saw multiple live and dead roaches in and outside the room, both adults and babies, roach feces in the corners of the ceiling in the bathroom, dead bugs and whatever else in the corners and under the bed from not being swept properly. My bf used a black light to check the room and there was god knows what EVERYWHERE, some did look to be cleaner/paint on the walls but there was much more, toilet disgusting, thankfully the beds were clean and only stains we saw was from ink. The walls were also just VISIBLY dirty, there was literally a dead roach squished and left on the wall. The a/c was leaking water that pooled up on the floor, the window was broken, the door’s electronic lock was questionable, the door was also not sealing correctly. I booked 2 beds for 2 adults for 2 nights got 1 full size towel and a bunch of hand towels and washcloths. The outside trash was overflowing. Pool closed in the middle of the summer. I can excuse a lot and probably just would have not said anything and chopped it up to typical motel 6 quality if it wasn’t for how disgusting it was and the roaches. On the plus side they beds were comfortable, easy to find parking and I didn’t hear anyone below or behind us, only from the window/door side.

Our stay was very disappointing. The refrigerator was not working, which made it difficult to store food and drinks. There was no microwave/oven which was very inconvenient. On top of that, there were a lot of flies in the room, making the stay uncomfortable and unhygienic. Overall, the property did not meet our expectations, and I would not recommend staying here

Shady area, musty sheets and towels, bath and toilet looked unclean. You get what you pay for.

The room is really clean and I really appreciated that. I did find it odd that during the day when I had come back to my hotel room to rest that the AC system has been removed from the wall for cleaning. I had not been notified that that would be happening. I would’ve appreciated a heads up. Luckily, I was able to rest a little before they came back to finish cleaning and reinstalling the unit.

Check-in was easy and the lady was courteous. Had vending machines with microwavable food items which was very convenient.

Cockroach infested. Probably with market value, a $40/night accommodations. But they charge way more than that

Farmers branch itself is a beautiful city. This motel is right by a bunch of roadworks so be prepared for that. Other than that, the towels were very tiny but the tub was appreciated. They also be sure you have a parking pass, so that's good. Check in was quick and easy. Will definitely stay there again when im in town.

You would think the property manager would pay close attention to a horrible smelling room with a worn out mattress before renting it out, It showed me that the property manager has bigger concerns about renting a room under horrible conditions As opposed to accommodate patriot with a clean tidy room

I do not recommend this place. While the front desk clerk was there when I checked in, I went back with a question and didn’t find him for a while. There was a hair in the tub, mildew in the corner of the shower and the pillows (not the covers) I swear have never been changed. The bed was terrible and the door had damage around the lock. I had the thought about what I would do if someone broke in and how would I protect my daughter and myself. After sleeping only a few hours, I woke and booked us over at the Renaissance North Dallas only 1.7 miles away. Just ate the cost.

Really nice hotel that is by the highway and has a Starbucks on the other side. Has laundry machines in the coffee/vending area.

Rooms are clean and staff are friendly and professional. Reasonable room rates and pretty quiet surroundings make this place a great value for your stay, extended or short.

Room was non-smoking, but reeked of old cigarettes and mold. There was no refrigerator. The doors would not unlock with the key card once used. You had to go back to the office to have them redone each time. The walls and floor needed updating/cleaning.

I've stayed here on several occasions and have even given them 5 stars. But some of the employees have become rude and on my last visit, after I made a mistake and owned it, they put me on the Do Not Rent list, causing me to have to sleep in my car that night. They treated me like I had never stayed there before. I would not recommend them to anyone ever again. Studio 6 on Finnell Street has great customer service and worth the extra few dollarshave become rude and

Water came pouring into the bathroom in the room I was in from the cleaning crew dumping, and running water in the room above me. I couldn't use the shower, because I didn't want to be held liable for the damage even though I immediately reported it to the desk clerk. I showed them what was happening, and he came back much later to "fix" it. The desk clerk also didn't bring extra towels to mop up the mess until the next day. I had to use the in room ones to contain the mess. I was not offered a new room so I had to make do.

No me gustó nada. Está bien que estos sitios no sean gran cosa pero es que este motel no tenía nada. Ni cafetera, ni frigorífico, ni microondas, ni nada. El wifi es horrible, no pude ni ver nada. Al menos es espacioso y tiene cama (y split). Así que para una parada de camino a alguna parte podría valer.

There was a suspicious substance in the bathroom in a small bag and didn't want to touch it, there was an odd stench coming from the heater so couldn't turn it on.

Listen. No one stays at a Motel 6 for a spa experience. It’s always clean and the bed is comfy! I left my purse at home (old lady brain issues) and the woman at the front desk tried all she could to get me checked in. I was lucky enough to have a copy of my drivers license, front AND back. I’m a customer for like now!

We had to change rooms because the toilet seat was broken off on one side! The HVAC unit did not blow hot or cold, but came on with a roar automatically every 15-20 minutes, but it did drown out the traffic noise in 5 minute intervals. Only two small pillows, one hard, one like mush, no refrig or coffee unit, one of the beds had blood drops on the sheets, and the other bed had tears in the sheets… but to their credit, the room counter top, table and shower was clean… stay at your own discretion

Hot water literally took 15 to 20 mins to get hot. It’s a good thing I was patient and waited in the cold shower to eventually get the hot water. Hey the cost of the room was cheap, so I really should not be complaining. Lol

Bathroom fan wasn’t working and the fan vent was falling out room was a little dirty .the room didn’t have refrigerator or microwave or coffee maker.it was noisy mostly every night

The parking lot was too unsafe with lots of homeless people and they were smoking weed and my girlfriend was too uncomfortable and we couldn’t even sleep in the house A/C doesn’t work and there are not utilities in the bathroom and it was not clean at all

A/C didn’t work just beeping in the night. Had to unplug and there were roaches in the bathroom. The room had the worst smell and strange people everywhere that looked like they live there permanently. I arrived early. And they couldn’t hold my bags. I had to walk around with them for 3 hrs. No early check in. No mini fridge. Over all not satisfied.

This place is roach infested, when i asked for a new room the guy working there was really nice and moved me rooms. But the room they moved me into also had roaches. I didnt have high hopes in the 1st place but i wasnt expecting a roach infestation

My stay at Motel 6 in Farmer's Branch was uncomfortable. The AC unit was uncontrollable, knobs not working. You had to plug it in and unplug. The curtain over window had several holes, the room had an unbearable stinch of sewage. There was No refrigerator or microwave in the room. It was very inconvenient.

I had to check out a day early, requested a refund, the front desk person said they would call with an answer. I did Not receive the refund, but did Not receive a call either.

Upon arriving to my room , a staff next door was coming out from cleaning while smoking marijuana in her hand. Room smelled like complete cigarettes . Mold on the window and shower curtains. Tv wasn’t working . A big renovation needs to be done

If you had asked me a month ago I would have told you this location is one of the best motel 6s in the metroplex but Karen is a total Karen she's the morning female staffer who I recently encountered for the first time and she needs a lesson on how to talk to customers, and especially on how to listen. She will cut off your sentence because she knows what you're about to say and put her hand up in your face because she's tired of your face making noise at her. That's the feel of it anyways.

This placed reeked of cigarette smoke, there were holes in the walls, holes in the bathroom door, sealed with plaster but not repainted. It was the worst place i ever stayed.

Not only the condition of premises, but the parking lot used for a couple of drugs addicted get high. Parking lot used by kids get together after racing and looks like nobody care!!
