The hotel cleanliness. The breakfast buffet, except the pancake machine was broken the first day there and they ran out of coffee creamer. I didn’t like how there was only one microwave in the lobby for the entire hotel of guests to use and not in the rooms like most hotels.

Fine for a one night stay but wouldn’t book again. Hotel room was very humid and the floor was sticky and wet. The bed felt very worn down and hard and the sheets had a bad smell to them. Also make sure you read the property details because it was a little bit of a surprise that they charged for parking for a basic parking lot.

Good business stay. Was thrown off by them trying to charge for parking though. I believe that was unacceptable for the location and was taken a back by the attempt to charge for parking. The great agent at the desk recended the parking fees, which were not disclosed upon booking the property.

It is close to everything. The pool was closed so we were instructed to go to a sister property just to find out the sign needed to be removed and the pool was actually usable. The beds are too soft. The staff does not clean the rooms well. Hair and lashes were all over the floor. And the walls and ceilings are filthy. Room 319.

Breakfast was great. Not Just the average Waffles, Eggs , Bacon Sausage and much more.

Check in was excellent. Haley was very friendly at and can tell she knew her stuff the front desk.

I will start with the positive for my stay. Check-in was quick and easy. When I entered my room it was spacious and clean. The property seems to be well maintained. However the only issue was not having access to the outdoor pool during most of my stay. The other part was my room was not cleaned nor garbage changed during my entire stay. The breakfast was decent. I love the aesthetics of the lobby and Lounge area. Overall the stay is very close to the airport and also local shops and restaurants. I felt safe as a Solo traveler. Oh and one thing that was not mentioned when I called was that you have to pay for parking which I did not understand if it’s self parking. That was not made clear at the beginning of my stay

The facility was clean however it needs some repairs. In my room the shower door was broken and has been for quite some time judging by the water stains. Only one elevator was working. Pool wasn't usable. Hot water was pretty limited.

After our stay I noticed a "Parking Recapture Fee" on my bill. I called the hotel and spoke to Lindsey who was extremely annoyed by my question: Why was I not told about the charge at check-in? Lindsey obviously has this complaint come up so often she started getting loud telling me there was a sign at the front desk and by the elevator disclosing it. I again asked why I was not TOLD about it and she interrupted me with: You have yourself a good day! and hung up. That put a serious damper on the entire experience and we won't stay here again.

I really enjoyed this hotel. It’s about 20 minutes outside of Dallas and is surrounded by a ton of stores and restaurants. It’s right off the highway, but you can’t hear the traffic. It was kind of cool watching the sunset and cars going past in the evening. Staff was very attentive and on point.

While we are local, we needed a hotel to stay at for one night. From making the reservation to calling to confirm a few things and checking out, every staff member we encountered was kind, helpful, and asking what else we needed. We will be recommending Tru to all family and friends.

If you like sleeping in past 6am this might not be the hotel for you. The traffic on hwy 121 started well before 6 and was easily heard in the room. The room was very clean but the sheets had a funny smell. No AC in the hallways and in the room the AC was struggling to stay cool. Staff was friendly.

The hotel itself was fine. Good breakfast with a lot of variety. The pancake maker was finicky and worked when it wanted to. The only horrible thing I will mention was that we were on the 3rd floor and the hallway was extremely humid. It actually felt like they were blowing hot air which made the room extremely humid even though the air conditioning was working in the room. I informed them at the front desk and the said their maintenance staff tried to work on it but they could not fix it so they had to call the outside A/C company. We stayed for 3 days and the problem still existed. Personally, for this reason, I would not stay again because Texas is hot enough and you would expect it to be cool inside the entire hotel.

Probably wouldn’t stay again. With it being a new property it seems it has been a little bit unkempt and not as clean as it should be . Also kind of ridiculous there is a parking fee.

The arrival had an oder at the entrance.The front desk representative was nice.The room was clean the bedding was uneven. The shampoo on the 2nd day had a strong chemical smell and made my head itch.The front patio couches had black mold or something on the cushions. I paid $5 for a 20oz Dr.Pepper. One lady didn't speak English.

Property was very clean and our room was as well. It worked well for a short stay. We arrived on Friday and checked out on Monday, but we never had any one come in to clean from housekeeping at all during our stay, which I would think it would have been cleaned once, at least, during the stay.

The staff were the sweetest. I had a layover at DFW (cancelled flight) and check in was so easy after all the stress I went through. I can’t remember the staff member that was there that night but she was AMAZING!

Room never got cleaned or towels replaced during my entire stay. They claimed I told them not to clean and I would never say that. Who wants to stay in a room with no towels and bins full of trash also the elevator didn’t work and everyone had to use the stairs .. breakfast was also horrible. Never again

Worst experience ever. All the elevators were out during our stay and we were assigned a room on the 4th floor. For a 65 yr old women 4 flights of stairs was a lot. Once in my room I felt like I was held captive be because the stairs were too much physical activity. No apology, no compensation nothing was offered for our inconvenience. Never again.

I didn’t get my room cleaned for two days. Was told I got asked at check in if I wanted service and they stated I said I didn’t. No one ever asked and didn’t make it clear at time of check In that I must ask for service. Elevators didn’t work for two days had to use stairs, which is okay but not good for those guest that had many bags to carry

Exercise facilities and laundry were a great thing to have especially during the ice storm. Room could have been swept and mopped prior to my stay. Staff is excellent! Breakfast could start 30 minutes earlier for those with early hours. Thanks

The room was spacious and clean. The bed was terribly uncomfortable, breakfast was lacking. Many things were unavailable or empty. The front desk staff were not super friendly but not rude either. You definitely get what you pay for.

The room was clean and has a nice shower. The heater worked well during the cold. I did not get to partake in the morning breakfast, but IHOP is right next door. Overall i would stay again.

Lovely stay. Second time I stayed there.

My bed had a wad of hair in it and appeared unchanged. Due to late hour I discovered it, I spent an uncomfortable night resting on top of the bed (not between the sheets.) Notified front desk at checkout. Was told I'd receive a call or email from management regarding a refund. Two weeks later, no communication despite me calling back a couple of days after checkout to follow up on the refund that was obviously deserved. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Hotel was not responsive to their lack of proper housekeeping.

Check-in staff quick and courteous. Otherwise disappointed - no coffeemaker in room, and continental breakfast coffee was cold and ran out; toilet malfunctioned; room design poor (only place to sit and work was right in front of AC which even just as vent was overpowering)

One of our better hotel stays! Room was fairly clean with lots of storage and hooks, a smart tv and plenty of towels. The free breakfast was probably one of the best we've had at a hotel! The pool area and multiple outdoor seating areas were a huge bonus! They even have a pool table and mini put! Small concession with snacks and beer but close to lots of options for food and shopping. Also only about a 10 min drive to the airport. The staff were friendly and very accommodating with an early check-in and late check-out too! We will definitely be staying again if in the area!

The check in took at least 15 minutes with a reservation. The person at the desk seemed to have no idea how to check me in.

The cleaning service needs to make sure that they pay attention to the floor. There were crumbs left on the floor from the previous person that rented the room. Also, they need to make sure that the baseboard where the mattress and the sheets that they dust their area there were crumbs as well. Overall, the room stay was great.

The wifi service was terrible here and the sleep was not comfortable because the pillows were terrible
