Dirty, shady-looking area, low cost and there's a reason.

When we arrived to our room, the a/c was set at 67. Perfect. At 1130ish, we woke up hot and sweaty. The a/c was not running. I turned it down a couple degrees and nothing. I turned the fan to low instead of auto. Nothing. Up to high. Nothing. I unplugged it and plugged it back in. It went to 74 degrees so I turned it back to 67. It turned on for a couple of minutes but no air was coming out and then shut off. I turned it down to 60 and high fan and crossed my fingers. We were so tired from our long day of driving that rather than try and switch rooms, we suffered through it. When I brought it to the girls attention at the desk, she said that the a/c only works between 65 and 68 degrees, otherwise the compressor shuts off. I told her we followed those parameters and that is when it stopped working. I didn’t turn it down to 60 until it had already broke. We didn’t try breakfast. We took our showers and got out of there. I didn’t use the hair dryer or do my makeup for work until I was in our truck because I was sweating too much. Hotel in disrepair. Rugs covering broken tiles, scrapes on the elevator door, stepping on the floor and sinking down.

If you are a very clean kind of person, this is not the place for you. The carpets our very old, the rooms can be cleaned and updated. The pool was closed the whole time we stayed; we actually preferred to be out of the room most of the day. Only showed up to sleep and shower. A man's truck was stolen our first day there. It's quiet but could use a lot of upgrades. If you are traveling, this is good for work trips. Way better than the bug infested Motel 8 down the road.

Room was clean every day on my return. The sink didn’t have a drain plug that could be closed and opened.

The breakfast was okay as expected. Good coffee and wafels in TX logo :-). The location is clean but has already seen better times. I would recomend renovating the rooms in short time. All good

Not very clean , dirty futon in room 415 ,out of toilet paper ,the hallway all on 4th need to be vacuum dirty on the way to room but the price was super good $67

My room was clean and so was the bathroom. The desk chair could be replaced with a new one. Breakfast was the same everyday. Cereal, eggs, sausage, bagels, toast, waffle station, and yogurt. The hotel does not have a computer room but they do have a tracking field. A pool was located in the back of the hotel.

I had an issue with the tv in my room. The desk clerk (beautiful light purple hair) was amazing! Spent 10 minutes trying to get it to work and could not. She then just moved me to another room that made it closer for my pups to go outside. She did this while dealing with the endless amount of customers to a sold out hotel! I wish I got her name but she is fantastic at her customer service!!!

Good stay

The room had not been cleaned properly. The bathtub had hair had to rinse out before we used it. The table had specks and spots that came up with a damp towel. The floor needed to be sweep and moped there was crumbs and visible spills of something

La Quinta is a pet friendly hotel and it was fantastic and we thank you very very much. They were great.

As I mentioned in an earlier review, This hotel has a problem in that they have employee's that make business decisions based on gossip, which can have a negative, unsafe effect on your guests.

Very nice for the price. Be patient with breakfast. Room was clean.

The lobby and the corridor carpet were old and unclean. Staff were just ok. Seemed reserved. Not too friendly. The breakfast was basic and area was very small. We came at 8 and it was full of tenants. We waited until a table was available, when one became available, everything was finished. We tried to get whatever we could but the attendant shut it down without asking us if we got food or not. They guy ignored our presence all together. He literally said time is up. Parking was and plenty were available. Rooms were clean and towels was offered by room service who were the most pleasant. Reception upon check in was decent, check out, stone faced. Overall 3*

I stayed in 1st floor accessible room next to laundry room and woke up with bed bug bites. Also there were big waterbugs crawling around. All the other non-accessible room upstairs I’ve stayed before on multiple occasions didn’t have any bugs. Had to throw away my wardrobe as a precaution.

We’ve always enjoyed our stays at this hotel. It’s very near the hospital when we need to visit patients there. One of their day hotel clerks goes way above and beyond to be sure our needs are met!!

Clean room, very nice staff. Only thing negative was my neighbor had a dog that barked all night but nothing was done. Idk if that’s on the hotel though. Still would stay at this hotel again.

Carpet was torn up and so used it was no longer carpet. Inside of my room had water streaks down all the walls from what I assume was a flood. They allow dogs which is fine but the ones next to me barked all night which made things uncomfortable. The TV worked but would not show what the guide said and I could not get it to function other then basic cable channels. The outside was dirty and honestly might be the most run down one in the country. I get elpaso is run down but have some standards

Old, dingy, dirty. Broken coffee makers, awful coffee, would not go near the complimentary breakfast. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Little bit more pricey than others we checked. But everything else was pretty good 👍

Internet connection is very slow

The property outside was not well maintained. Garbage cans were overflowing with garbage, the lawn wasnt mowed for what looked like a couple of weeks. The carpet in the hallways upon entering from parking lot looked dirty and old. Our room was clean and large for a basic room, but 1 of the beds was sunk a little in the middle, we could hear freeway traffic even during the night, and the bathtub drain stopper wouldn’t work. Overall, it’s a decent place to stay, but nothing worth bragging about…

This property does not deserve the 9.2 rating that it is displaying. It is in severe need of a major major, major overhaul or upgrade. Tile flooring was missing and covered over with rugs. Carpets were in severe need of cleaning. And certain areas of linoleum flooring felt like they were rotten under the surface.

breakfast was good, with Texas shaped waffle. Room and beds were clean. The staff were friendly and gave us more towels when we asked at the desk. One thing, at no fault of the hotel, but there is an intersection near the hotel and you could hear road noise while trying to sleep.

The elevator broke and was old and worn. Lobby and hallways need to be recarpeted and painted. Need new ice makers on every floor. The woman at the front desk last night was wonderful and I felt bad for her to have to apologize to everyone for all the broken things in the hotel. The owners need to step it up and finish updating everything. The room was nice except for one old dirty chair they put in our room. It looked like the rooms have been remodeled recently though. So the room was nice , clean and bed was comfortable.

Only slight negative was a very noisy air conditioner.

The toilet area is very small, so if you need to navigate with a walker, you would not have room. The breakfast was good one day, but a bit “sad” the second. It did have some form of eggs and sausage each day as well as the usual waffle iron, cereal, etc. I would stay here again when visiting family

Lady at the front desk was super nice. Hotel is kinda dingy. Room had stains on walls, dirty shower curtain and one of the bed sheets was not changed. Bed was made but pillows and sheets were wrinkled and inside , there were body hairs everywhere! We were on the 4th floor but we could hear everything going on outside. It was too noisy!

This is a pet friendly facility and that is exactly how it smelled in our room. Terrible smell even after cleaning?

Breakfast was good but limited can’t complain. House keeping terrible stairs hallways filthy. Stains everywhere. Engineering employees have property all patched up with white tape on bathroom tub and hallways. An inspection by a La Quinta representative should tour property and he would be in shock of what La Quinta represents on the market. I would not bring my wife here..

The room was clean and the front desk clerk was friendly. The room was quiet and I had everything I needed. Towels were thick and fluffy.

The staff here were truly wonderful! They were kind, attentive and welcoming, which made a strong impression. However, the condition of the room left a lot to be desired. It appeared quite worn down, with damaged flooring, a chipped mirror, and overall cleanliness issues.

The only issue I had was the room next to mine had a dog that barked and whined all night long, needless to say I got no sleep. I had mentioned to the front desk after checking in that the dog was barking and scratching at the door and he seemed surprised. The front desk lady this morning was very nice and I did share my complaint with her as well.

We had to request toilet paper because we knew we were going to run out in middle of the night! Also, not enough towels. Our floor and the main floor ice machine was broken. They need to clean the bathroom walls or new paint job.

Simple breakfast with self serve waffles maker station. Parking feel safe and clean

Walking distance to Walmart was helpful for us and food options.

They helped me more about my booking then hotel.com definitely switching to Wyndham rewards
