Hotel El Paso By IHG

Nothing because it is being renovated since the beginning of February. Made the reservation on end of January!!!! I can't get my money back unless I accept to pay the fee! Which is not fair!!!!! This was a nightmare and still have to wait and see if I will get my hard earned money back!!!! That i can't speak to a live agent , this booking.com is all "AI" SO I WON'T USE IT ANYMORE!!!!!

There was nobody at the front desk. We called the number that was provided on the counter, and we could hear the phone ringing in the back room. I walked around the property and it is very apparent it is under remodeling, After many phone calls went unanswered, my buddy went across the parking lot, and found that the one employee was responsible for both hotels. The worst check-in experience I have ever had.

The hotel was under remodeling, dust everywhere. Noise from construction didn't allow for much relaxation and rest.

We reseved a 2 queen bed room and they gave us just one bed and a couch, telling us the hotel was overbooked and there was nothing they could do about it until next morning that we could speak with management.

We were pleasantly surprised how clean and nice our room/suite was considering how the appearance was from the outside. The hotel was located at a great location and you can see that renovations are being made.

This hotel is almost impossible to find as there is no sign on it. I had to go across the parking lot at Blaze Hilton to figure it out. That person said they'd be right over to check me in. It took her 10 min to come over. It is still under renovation. Pool is closed for renovation. None of this is mentioned in website, in fact website says newly renovated. Sheet had a hole in it and there was no battery in the smoke detector. IHG needs to get it together regarding this hotel.

The a/c of our room had no fan speed adjustments. The a/c was working on its lower level but not cool very good. They removed the courtesy breakfast. The inside pool is still under construction.

Are not very clean, the couch in the room was full of stains. Swimming pool was closed.

Hotel was under construction. No pool, no breakfast, door were unlocked so no security, door to check in did not work! I thought I was paying for these amenities. Should have been told about construction!

The room left a lot to be desired. There was no trash can, only one in the bathroom. We killed a cockroach. There were no light bulbs. The room was very unclean.

I saw that it’s in a construction state but the conditions were awful. Stains everywhere and outdated in every sense. I have about -10 pictures that support these statements. Really bad shape all around. I think this location will bounce back being in a prime location - with twin peaks in walking distance, there are some nice options. As far as the hotel goes, they should really shut it down until the upgrades are completed. I stayed in other locations for the same amount paid here, that have 3x better amenities. I should really get my money back as I checked out the second I woke up In the middle of the night. El Paso is a work in progress and I would to see this location thrive…. Side note, cats everywhere outside. I’m rooting for a remodel here.

I know that they are going through a remodel but the ceiling in the room that we had mold freckles right above the shower. The toilet still had residue on it and the SHEETS the brown cover on top were covered in white spots from who knows what. The lady at the front was very nice but nice ness doesn't take away from dirtyness

Pool was closed with no open date scheduled, did not have continental breakfast as advertised, mold on the ceiling in bathroom, hair dryer had been taken off wall some time ago and after requesting another and told it was coming one never arrived during our 5 night stay.

Hotel under renovation. The name of the hotel has been removed from the building...makes for a hard time identifying the hotel. Upon arrival you are met with smashed tile in the front columns, Shredded curtains on the fourth floor, (visible from the parking lot) several signs saying please excuse our mess (over kill really) and a room with no lights in the foyer, a bathroom with issues and most importantly they had removed the smoke and carbon monoxide detector and just left the wires hanging from the ceiling.

This place needs total renovation the floors are dirty the keys don't work properly to open the doors the beds were dirty the place need vacuuming the pool was closed totally needs remodeling I know they're going to remodel but you get what you pay for

The property has potential, but there is a lot of unhygienic things that must be met to make a person comfortable when staying, room had some blood stains on carpet, sink was cracked, shower tub has a hole with a”patch” that was peeling off. Although it was affordable it made me second guess myself in picking this

Very good better than I thought it would be the only issue we had is the bathtub was in horrible condition and the place needed cleaning especially on the floors but it was a very comfortable stay and we will say again

The building is just too old. The room door lock is broken, the carpet is dirty, and the bathroom is too small.

Was promised that the pool was open all weekend and was told at check in it was still open. Come to find out when we went to use it it was closed indefinitely. Requested for our room to be clean/service and came back to being still dirty when we were told that it would be cleaned. One of the receptionist was rude and unprofessional towards our family.

Me quede 2 noches y no limpiaron la habitacion, le comente a la encargada y solo me dijo que ya no tenia personal. Asi que no me cambiaron sabanas ni toallas, me quede en 1er piso y la venta a no tenia ningun tipo de cerrojo

El baño sucio, la regadera se salia el agua y tenia moho, no habia klennex, mucho ruido de otros cuartos, no lo recomiendo para nada

I checked into the property with my debit card that only had 95 dollars on it. The manager told me there was a 100 deposit. Which I wasn’t aware of I already paid for the booking but he wouldn’t let me stay. He was very rude. Please. Give me a comp for this trip

Muy malo el servio

Door was hard to get in to. It was jammed. We could not use the bolt lock. Bathroom was in poor condition was clean but very run down hotel.

Checked in first room was a mess no cover on the beds a coffee table was on the bed and also chairs were in the bed and the sofa was a mess. They gave us a second room and the beds were broken and a the shower was broken and the room stinks my family left and went to another hotel

Hotel seems to be in restoration. There are traces of unfinished details. Elevators seems to be shabby. Breakfast, though included, not politely served and well serviced. Though room was clean, showed some shabby itesm in the bathroom.

This was our 3rd time staying here and probably the last time unfortunately unless Quality Suites does something about it.

Dirty bath and bed

The first attempt of room 208 smelled like feet. The second room 215 was leaking dirty sewer water.

I booked 3 rooms and had to move out of 1 as soon as I entered the room due to the ac not working at all and it feeling like a sauna in there. The ac in the other rooms were not cold but were tolerable throughout our 3 day stay except on the last day the ac from the room that we were moved into, stopped turning on. The sofa sleepers were stained with what looked like blood or some type of big brown stains. Towels at this hotel are almost nonexistent. Each room only has 2 big towels and 1 washcloth and they are filthy! We couldn’t get replacement towels until the night before check out and of course it was only 2 big towels and 1 washcloth. The pool was closed all throughout our stay. Our keys to all the rooms had to be taken to the front desk to be reprogrammed EVERY TIME we were needing to get into our rooms. The elevator has the 2 lit up at all times so guests will only go to the 2nd floor but we went to the 3rd floor out of curiosity and it is a DISASTER on that floor! I don’t know what happened to the entire 3rd floor to cause it to be unusable. I know this hotel is much cheaper than many others in El Paso but I would much rather pay more for a good hotel where my family and I will sleep comfortably and not wrapped in our own blankets in order to not sleep on anything filthy in this room. The bathtubs are filthy brown so we took showers with our crocs on! The handle in our shower kept coming off and had to be put back in and my son's shower didn’t work at all.

We were traveling for more than 14 hrs and we had no room afeter booked 3 weeks in advanced. This hotel smell disgusting, humidity problems everywhere, the shower and carpet, old and dirty. It's not a good place to go.

Worst hotel yet, t.v. doesn’t work, phone in room doesn’t work, my room felt like a sauna, went downstairs and clueless man at front desk says there is nothing he can do since he is by himself and can’t give me another room because they are 100% booked

The entire room was dirty and they had no towels.

Absolutely horrible rooms. Front door did not close completely, toilet did not flush. There were also bed bugs which gave us bug bites all over our body. The property denied us a refund. Told the front desk about the bugs and they did nothing about it. Absolutely worst hotel i have stayed in.

Enjoyed our stay

Hotel was OK, clean, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and quiet (even though the location is right next to the freeway); however, the bathroom felt dated, in need of renovation. And since the hotel does not have room service, I did not feel it necessary to leave a mandatory deposit of USD $50 per night.

(We had left at 8:30 so not sure after) * Pool closed * Ice machine broken * Our door had no deadbolt or chain lock option At the end of the day it was a place to sleep but our family will more than likely try to never stay in El Paso as we travel. The lack of transparency is disappointing and based on the bad feel like the price should have been different.

No habia secadora de pelo me prestaron una y estaba quebrada. Por la tarde la alarma estubo sonando y a las 4 de la madrugada tambien. El telefono de la abitacion no servia. Los botones del acendor estaban sueltos. La alberca no funcionaba y el edificio estaba sucio. El agua en la ban̈era se estancaba. Fue horrible no pude dormir.

This stay was awful. No rooms were ready upon arrival, there was construction at 8am all weekend, fire alarms going off at 500am non-stop until checkout.

Went to room 222 open the door and someone was there went back to the front desk and had to wait 20 mins for another room !

Extremely dirty room and building. Stains on furniture and bed. Towels were dirty and room had a funky smell. Seemed more like a room that rents by the hour. Never returning here.

This property definitely falls on the top of my list for filthy, unkept, and overall gross! There was roaches outside and inside the halls. The bathroom was disgusting. Toilet didn't work or flush. However the nasty stained and dirty carpet takes the prize. Honestly, I'm not even sure why Expedia does business with this property. Don't be fooled by the pictures!

Mini Split funcionaba bien, la limpieza estaba bien, solo habia colillas de cigarro, pero las condiciones del sofacama, muy manchado y sin sabanas, no lo usamos. Ropa de cama y camas estaban limpias, almohadas regulares, y definitivo la alfombra es necesario que la laven o la cambien. Del desayuno, estuvo bien. Papas, huevo revuelto, pan, cereal, yogurt granola, cafe, te, jugo, leche.

It is not ok that this is a no refundable property and I will be fighting that. there was a paper sign that said there were no too as available, the pool was closed and I waited for several minutes ringing the bell at the front desk and called several times to check in and no one helped me. I want my money back.

Fisrt of all when I got there we were sent to a room already occupied. Then we got our room and the AC was barley working. The pull out bed had no sheets and stains from whatever it was. Some of looked like blood. The shower was disgusting and old. The pool wasn't open due to some permits or something. Overall it was just a horrible hotel. I would not recommend anyone stay there ever.

The room was neat but the walls were dirty. The bathroom tub was dirty. The service was not very good.

Bed was comfortable. Place is nice. Mattress in pull out was dirty. Pull out couch was dirty. That place could be better maintained. Won’t keep me from coming back though.

Touring band on our way to Albuquerque the room fit all six of us comfortably and was quite and accommodating for all of us to get a good nights sleep

Building needs updated. Pool was never open and when we took a look it looked dirty. Breakfast was cold bread was hard, no fruit at all. Room did not have smoke detector. Couch in room was dirty with stains. Had to take my key to front desk to re-program 2x and the girl that did it the 2nd time did not say a word to me even though i said please thank you have a good afternoon, did not get a word from her at all. Like the area where it’s located due to having options where to eat and shop.

Excellent place to stay, from the beginning friendly guest service at check in, loved the indoor pool and spacious clean rooms. I felt comfortable and relaxed my whole stay. Only thing was the ice machine did not work and the water vending machine took my money and didn't give me anything. But other than that this hotel is in a great location right off the freeway and I would stay here again and again. Also excellent price!

I do realize that the hotel is a little outdated but upon arriving into the room the sheets were stained the tub was terrible the pool didn't work they suggested that we could use the pool across the street at the hotel next door that hotel the pool was disgusting dirty and freezing cold. Overall for the price I would have rather stayed across the street at the Holiday inn for just a little more

The rooms are in very bad condition, broken moldings, my daughter scratched her arm on a piece of wall, the molding was missing in the shower, full of hair, the pool was super dirty without a sign saying it was of no use.

Still waiting for my deposit refunds.

I booked this hotel on Expedia because it had an indoor pool. The pool was out of order. This could’ve been listed on the ad for the hotel. However that wasn’t the only thing out of order. The vending machine, and all the Ice Makers were also not working. The blanket on the bed was a curtain instead of a true comforter. The bathroom in the unit was dirty. There were no towels. I am deeply disappointed in this experience. And I still have to endure this for another 2 nights. Absolutley horrific!

The only issue i had was the bathroom tub area . Needs to be repair.

Overall it was terrible, we will never stay there again.

One of our Queen beds was broken.

Made the reservation under one name, and went back in to Expedia to change name. Got everything changed and at time of check in receptionist would not let us check in due to her saying that other name was still on reservation. We showed her multiple times that reservation had been changed and she still said no to letting us check in. Asked to speak to a manager and she said he wasn’t available. Asked when he’d be in and she said I don’t know. Made us make a new reservation and pay AGAIN. and assured us manager would fix issues and refund for one room. Since only one room was used and really double booked for nothing. Have been calling all day the next day and have been given the run around about the manager. “Oh he’s not in” “oh he’s at the hotel next door” “oh he JUST left and won’t be back” or plain out “what is the problem” from regular employees. Such un professionalism from receptionist and honestly just lack of care. Do better management and get people who are willing to do their job and help people out instead of making us waste $200 for nothing.

The staff was courteous and were a great help whenever I needed it. And there was a fantastic breakfast selection on offer

The toilets had issues. Our room wasn't cleaned Saturday morning. The elevator was constantly wet. The toilet on the first floor was broken with no sign.

The hotel itself needs to be updated, in our room the bed would lean up when you sit on it, the room had a weird stench. When to change room and that room was a little better,

The manager here is the same manager as the place (Sleep Inn) across the parking lot. He was very rude!! The rooms at Quality were absolutely disgusting, dirty, stunk and the door to one of our 2 rooms didn't even lock. When we brought it to their attention it was as if they already knew the condition of these rooms. So why are they still being rented out?! This place really needs to be demolished and remodeled. The front clerk at Quality did offer us rooms at Sleep Inn across the parking lot and since it was like 1am, we took it. Getting settled into our rooms took nearly 2 hours. Then we were offered a comp but it had to be through the manager who wasn't available at that time so we went back in the morning and he refused and didn't even apologize for what we went through. Upon check out at Sleep Inn he was there and although I was being helped by the young boy at the counter, he stepped in and refused to give me a receipt! He said I wasnt allowed to have it because I reserved my room through Expedia. I have never heard of this or had any issues before, even at other Sleep Inns. He was rude and unprofessional. We will never be back!!

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. However the building is run down, and the room was very dirty. The bathtub was extremely dirty the sheets and pillows had stains. The tables, coffee tables and microwave countertop was dirtty a d sticky like it was never wipped or cleanes. There was rat poop on the beds

Check in and out was excellent. The staff is friendly and efficient. In the room, shower was not very clean. Hair everywhere. Bottom of the bathtub pretty much grey. The breakfast is terrible, flavor wise, staff that runs it is not friendly.

There were burn holes in the sheets. A loud party down the hall. We didn’t stay for breakfast because we were so disappointed. I want my money back. What a waste!!!!

Outdated

The restroom was very dirty, the shower and tub was moldy. Asked for another room nothing was available besides a smaller room so just sucked it up for the night stay.

This place was very broken down, smoke detector in our room was missing, the security lock was broken. The floor was dirty and got our socks black. The tub was dirty and black. The sheets were dirty and stained and we didn’t even get blankets. They didn’t have enough towels to give us either nor did we have hand towels or floor towels. The young lady in the front was very rude and not helpful.

Everything was great. We’ll be staying again.

in the room the bed frames are sticking out so prepare to either bruise, scratch or cut your shines and feet. the couch was stained. the shower floor has mildew. shower curtains moldy we found a nice hairball in the bathroom as well. not to mention the big bubbles above the shower from the room upstairs. carpets are scary as well. i feel so bad for those employees busting their butts to help their guests the best they can with the conditions of the building itself. whoever owns this ought to compensate that staff. then be held accountable for the condition inside.

Ugly very old , dirty , no good at all and EXPENSIVE ‼️

I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. We first caled ahead asking if we could check in early, we were told by the front desk that we could, so when we arrived we were turned away stating that they could not allow early check in. Once we finally checked in the hotel room was dirty, the shower was full of mold that we could not even use. We told the front desk and asked to be switched rooms, but then we had to wait several hours before we could move to a different room. The sheets and blankets had burn or cigarette marks on them despite it being a non-smoking room. When looking for a hotel we were looking for an indoor pool so the kids could enjoy themselves for a bit, we had also called ahead to find out if the pool would be open and available, but after checking in and having trouble with the room we later found out that the pool was closed and not able to be in use.

Only thing was breakfast. Coffee was cold and toaster only one side worked. Had to wait to use. Vending machines were not working no Ice on 3rd floor.

Terrible experience first room we walked into had a shopping cart and dirty. Second room we were moved to the door wouldn’t lock anyone could walk in. We ended up with an ok room but the tub was dirty. The pool was closed. Breakfast was also horrible coffee was cold and the food wasn’t good. Definitely don’t recommend this place.

DON'T STAY HERE !The elevator didnt work . The shower didnt work . They put us on the 3rd floor in a run down room next to the freeway so all we heard was loud traffic. The front dest girl didn't bring us the sheets i had to go get them . The morning front desk man was rude . The breakfast and coffee were cold . The only thing good was the waffles.

The rooms were disgusting. There was hair all over the tubs and floors. The pool gave us chloride poisoning. There was 3 skunks outside of my window horrible. And there was electrical outlets without any base covers.

Hotel was in poor conditions. 1st room was dirty, 2nd room was falling apart. Elevator was nonfunctional. Its a 1 star hotel.

After we paid deposit and confirmed reservation, they put us on a third floor, but they told us the elevator wasnt working and we had to take the stairs.. by the way, the restrooms by the pool were also out of order, so you had to go all the way up, throught the stair, to use the bathroom... very inconvinient. The bathrrom in or room was in a very bad condition and the carpets were filthy. The next day. My wife and daughers needed to use the hair dryer, but guess what? Wasnt working. I went down to the front desk but of course they didnt have a spare.. also the juice machine wasnt working..i better not talk about the breakfast.. Not recommended at all
