Air conditioner didn’t work in our first room however, the staff was quick to respond. And gave us two separate rooms. The hallway carpet had an older to it.

They happen to have 2 queen beds at the last minute and let me have it upon checking in! When I reserved it online, there were none available. So I was very happy!!!

Excellent breakfast complete and with hot breakfast and fresh as well. I love this property cause it's pretty close to airport. However it's falling apart. This time the sink was broken and wifi never worked. Other than that everything it's pretty enjoyable

The property has a great location walking distance to the airport. The staff was very helpful with assisting me with printing some items.

This place needs lots of maintenance; elevator doesn’t work, dirty carpet, no hot water. Place looks like abandoned hotel.

Good breakfast

I stayed on Room #115 which upon entry, had the bad small of bad foot odor. This is no reflection on the cleaning staff. This hotel is in an excellent location and unfortunately the owners have not done a very good job on providing funding for building maintenance, whether its cleaning or changing out carpeting, painting/touch up painting on wood surfaces in the rooms, or replacing shower heads. It has been over 15 years since I've been in this establishment and it seems to have the same carpeting, wallpaper, etc. You might be still getting enough occupancy to keep you afloat, but after this smelly experience, there is no way I would return or recommend a stay at your place. Not a good reflection on the pride that should be taken when it is your business. Employees do the best they can with the resources they are provided, but unfortunate you are trying to run your business so poorly. This reflects on you, the owner(s), not on your kind staff who works there day in and day out. At minimum, invest in replacing flooring. Thank you and I hope I will someone return and be able to write a much more pleasant review.

Great night slept

I was hesitant to stay here based on reviews. I decided to book anyway. And did not regret it. Yes it does need some updating but overall it was good stay. Staff were helpful and the amenities were great. I would stay here again.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, I was concerned about the cleanliness of the room and over all hotel. As it turns out the place exceeded my expectations. Cleanliness of the building and my room was great. Though certain parts of the hotel and in my room felt a little dated. I would definitely consider staying here again. Their continental breakfast was amazing as well.

The hotel was convenient walking distance to the airport. Did not like that the shuttle ran until 7am. We loved that the room had a mini fridge and microwave nothing fancy but a good place to stay.

I had an issue with my room not having an

Peeling paint, peeling wallpaper, visible mold. The carpet looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in ages (and yes, there's some carpet in the bath area and there was hair and a contact lens from a previous guest...) and the hot/cold water are neither hot (sometimes) or cold! Both shower and sink area had air-temp as the cold and my shower had no water pressure and therefore...no shower! One desk rep was helpful but a second one shrugged when I complained. It's a fairly reasonable price and near the airport but not someplace I'd stay again.

Good location! Was within walking distance to El Paso Intl. Also close to Fort Bliss. The free breakfast was also a very nice touch.

The room was trapped in the 70's and very worn out. Dried out lamp shades falling off their frames, frayed carpet, no luggage stands, and cracked sinks. Overdue a renovation by years!!!

There were open 30 gallon trash cans on every corridor. The bed was a double and not the queen size we paid for. The hot spa was cold water, actually colder than the pool. The pool’s steps were coated with slime which made them so slippery I had to hang on the rail just to not slip and fall on the pool’s steps. Obviously I can’t recommend this hotel.

Room was very small and tight. Shower wasn't working properly, one elevator stopped working.

Could use remodel, the elevator is hot and we got stuck in there on our way back from dinner. We were maybe in there for like 5 minutes but felt like 15 minutes, pressed every button we could the call button didn’t work the phone box was taped up. The lights in the bathroom kept going out. We had to keep pressing the reset button.

Overall, not a bad stay. I agree with the other reviewers when they say that the hotel is in desperate need of a remodel. It is really showing it's age. The wall paper in our room was peeling and the couch was stained. Whenever the air conditioner kicked on, it sounded like an airplane taking off. It worked for a quick one night stop. It worked for our family of 5. The breakfast was good, but late getting set up. We had to wait 20 minutes for milk for the kids and the same with the coffee. They did have a good selection of food once it was all out. It was an OK stay. I don't think we would re-book at this hotel. I think they need to work on upkeep or a remodel.

Many of our troops stationed on the border have to stay here, sadly they have no choice. The hotel is dirty and not well maintained. The hall carpets are filthy, the room was not vacuumed, the bathroom had black hair on the floor. I am blonde. There was no iron, and the hair dryer had almost no power. The beds are very soft and a bit lumpy. I understand a hotel being old and that it takes time and money to update them. However, there is no reason for it to be dirty. We did not eat the breakfast so I have no comment. Avoid this hotel, we will certainly not stay here again.

Little dated in some parts but the place was clean and everyone was wonderful. Thank you from this Hoosier that left a part of her heart in Texas with my son who is stationed at ft bliss.

Hawthorne says that it has an airport shuttle however it’s not available until 7 am, I had an early flight and had to call Uber.. it should state hours of operation so that people are not deceived into thinking they have airport transportation, also staff is not very friendly which indicates they are not happy working there. Should have stayed at Marriott

The entire facility is worn out. Badly cracked sink in the bathroom, general sense of neglect. The lobby smells very strongly of cheap disinfectant. Breakfast was OK, the staff was friendly sometimes. The beds were comfortable.

First off their phone lines don’t even work besides their company line, but the actual front desk line is inoperable. Secondly a lot of the amenities in the rooms did not work, including the lamps. There was a lot of stains on lamps and flooring. Pubic and normal hair were found on the tub and the floor by the tub. My partner and I tried our best to clean that up and just when we were about to go to bed, there was a blackout. We tried to stay in the room, but it got extremely hot and I started to hyperventilate. We went downstairs after we gathered our things and looked for the person at the front desk. After a while of not knowing where the front desk personnel was turns out, they were sitting, chatting with other guests on the couch. We told them that we no longer wanted to stay due to several faults with the room and lack of electricity. They shrugged and said nothing could be done about it. We left frustrated and upset because that was a complete loss of money and time.

First off, the staff was very unhelpful and unprofessional, at first the had the wrong dates, so they made me cancel and re book. Once I did that, they went to tell me that I had to wait, because my new reservation wasnt showing, like as if i wasnt already in the system before. So i had to step out, for time to pass by, when I went back a couple hours after, there was a different butler in the front, an older man, very aggressively demanded my ID and Credit card. When I said I was paying cash, he went from 0 to 100 yelling, "its going to be 150.00 dollars more" I asked why, he looked at me, and replied "security deposit, just in case you damage something" me already upset because I had to reserve twice, I asked the older butler, is this policy, he replied yes, for everyone paying cash. I asked him to show me on paper, where the policy was about the cash deposit. He threw my id back at me, and said " get the Fu%& out" I asked for a manager, and he just said, to look for him tomorrow ... he ended up calling the cops on me, and canceling my reservation, when I did not deny to pay or to cancel my reservation. The security guy on site, was quite scandalous as well, oviously backing up his master. I ended up leaving and up till now, I havent seen a refund. Staff was extremely rude, unprofessional and condescending..

The check-in was seamless, with the best part being the buffet-style breakfast. Overall, it was fine. Would I stay again, probably.

Swimming pool not warm Tried to feel the pool temperature with Holding on to the reel and putting my foot in the water and slipped in the pool hurt my leg hurt my back hard to breathe hurt my arm hurt my knee I tried to complain to the person working there they told me to talk to the manager tomorrow I woke up my elbows on both sides are hurting, right arm hurts, my left under side rib cage hurts, my left knee is hurting really bad, hurts to take a breath. elevator jumps very hard and is very slow takes 5 minutes to get from floor to floor room very tiny I have witnesses that were outside now I'm not going to have those witnesses shower taking too long to heat up electricity keeps going out The lights were unplugged The freezer was frosted up The rooms were extremely small we thought we were getting a nice place instead it's a dump a big dump we did not stay the night & we checked out early

The main elevator is so slow it's unsettling, but violent at the floors. The shower was barely warm, hardly different than the cold. The worn out outdoor stairways have burnt out lights. The furniture in our room was very worn. And, no smart TVs, and no channel guides because "there's two kinds of TVs in the rooms that each have different channels." I think this would be easy to accommodate... Wish they had earlier breakfast options to accommodate earlier flights, since they advertise as an airport hotel.

This hotel seriously needs updates, but the room was clean (besides the carpet) and it was the nice price. The woman working the breakfast with the Texas tattoo on her neck was very kind and considerate, as was the shuttle driver and the older man working the desk in the morning.

At least the sheets and towels were clean

The room was great, excellent breakfast with a variety of options, very comfortable bed, the shower had very good water pressure. Everything was great.

The fridge didn't work the light on the desk didn't work we had a hard time getting the TV to work and the wall paper is falling off the walls in the room and the bathroom it needs some attention. The hallways to the dining room have some scraping that needs attention as well. When we got to the dining room there was no food at the buffet table so we left and had to go eat breakfast at a restaurant near by.

The hotel grounds are filthy, trash all around, sidewalks overgrown with weeds, parking spaces filled with sand, secondary entry doors are not secured - card readers are not working and so access into the back halls is completely unsecured, BUT from the third floor the door to access the stairs is jambed so if there were an emergency, the stairwell is inaccessable, Our room had trash on the balcony when we arrived, the tray for silverwear (one spoon and two forks, one knife) was sticky black spilled something left to dry, plates were dirty, coffee cups had rings in them from coffee sitiing in them, about half of the electric outlets in the room were not working, the desk chair was broken, the beginning of our stay, the pool was out of order (july). In general, the hotel needs better management to maintain property. Old is not an excuse for not being cleaned.

Didn't have hot water, good thing it was a hot day didn't need it. Refrigerator wasn't working. Bed was comfortable, got a good night sleep. Breakfast was good. A lot of restaurants around.

Extremely outdated property and the staff are not friendly at all. The staff setting up the breakfast area hate what they do. My son was scared to ask for a fork from one of them. We didn’t receive a greeting when checking in and that’s when I realized I made a mistake booking this property.

Hotel with convenient to El Paso Airport and reasonably priced. However, rooms seem to be dated and needed a little maintenance. The AC unit in my room was quite loud.

These rooms do NOT look like the remodeled lobby! Old outdated appliances in room, there was a hole above the broken fire alarm l, and the elevator electrical panel was torn off the wall in elevator! Scary; I slept for an hour and left down the stairs

Amazing Everything was great

The breakfast was good. The hall carpets were filthy. Not having been vacuumed in the past decade. The Chair in the room was ragged and dilapidated. The air conditioner was loud, but thankfully, it drowned out the snoring of a family member. The painting desperately needed touching up. There was no shampoo in the bathroom. The wing we were in was close to needing demolition. I needed to go to the front desk to request a light bulb for a lamp as it was missing .

The property is old and not maintained. The outdoor landscaping is nothing but dirt and weeds its been blown up to the doors and over sidewalks. Not swept or cleaned. The key card readers at secondary doors are broken so all doors are not secured. The room was not cleaned well. A full trash can was on our balcony when we arrived, the bathroom sink was dirty, the tray holding silverwear in the kitchen was under the counter with sticky dry spilled liquid (coke? coffee?) The coffee pot dirty. about half of the electric outlets do not work. The iron did not work. The elevators are filthy, floors have spills and spots that have not been mopped in the 6 days I have been here. If I had not paid in advance I would have moved. Swimming pool out of service in July. No van shuttle to airport as advertised, out of service. Employees are indifferent. Seems like they have heard the complaints before but have not authority to do anything to make it better.

Have traveled through here a couple of times and I've stayed here now twice. Definitely great price, great area

Breakfast very goid

I reserved a room since 1 month ago and and after confirming they had a jacuzzi as I had knee surgery and needed to do my exercises (PT) staff assured me the hotel had a jacuzzi. So I reserved my room, and ooohhh SURPRISE!! No pool for almost all day as they were repairing it, and no hot water in the Jacuzzi! My room was very dirty, and very unfriendly staff Will never recommend anyone to stay there

I given regular rooms, when I requested handicap rooms! One of the rooms shower head did not have water pressure, very little water would come out! Some of the staff member seem rude at times! Very bad experience!

Continence to the airport Needs upgraded, bathroom was showing its age as well as carpet and walls. Bed had parts hanging out in the wall way I hit my chin on that could of been real bad if it were a senior citizen

Pool area was closed off and not accessible. It just so happens to be June-July in the state with temperatures reaching over 100 Degrees and no pool to cool off, what a bummer.

We spent 4 nights only one time they clean the room.

The breakfast is always on poin? This location has gone downhill, I stay here everytime I come to el paso but this recent stay will be the last time I stay here. The first room i was put in the air conditioner and fridge didnt work and there was a really strong moldy smell coming from the carpet I was in there for less than 10 minutes before I had to go ask for another room because the smell was so bad. The second room seemed better, the walls and sink had bad chips that are just painted over, obviously maintenance has gone way down but that wasnt too big of a deal, but when I went to open my curtains I noticed there was no locks on the window ON THE FIRST FLOOR and there was a huge Cracks going down both sides of the windows. I went back to let the front desk know about the situation with the window and the front desk worker told me, "yes, i know". So safety is not a priority apparently. Walking down the halls you will also notice it smells like mold, the wallpaper is literally coming off the walls the ceiling is bowed, it looks like its going to cave in. This was my go to spot but not anymore.

There were no vending machines, as ladies we didn't want to get out in the night/evening to get snacks.

This is a good, transit hotel - rooms are clean, beds are "extra firm", 15 minute walk from the airport and there's an affordable parking program. I stay here when traveling out and in of ELP on a budget.

I would not stay here. The entire building smells terrible and old. I stayed here in 2009 and still has the same carpet. The rooms need upgrading. Old faucets and dirty floors. Only thing clean was the shower amd toilet. The staff didn't look happy to assist. Elevator was torn up and falling apart.

Avoid at all cost! Property was filthy they gave me an occupied room they changed me to another room with dirty socks and body piercings on the floor do not stay here even if it’s free

I had a reservation for three days and after my first night I have to cancel and look for another hotel. I had to change four different rooms to try to find one that the AC was working unfortunately this week temperatures in El Paso were 107 Fahrenheit imagine trying to sleep in a place with a broken AC.

I took an uber and then after an hour I realized that I forgot my iphone charger in the room so I called the hotel asking if they could reach it out for me. Turns out that the same driver who was available at the time brought it to me at the airport. 10/10

Got a room to use the pool and it was closed in the +100 degrees weather. Temperature in the hallway was almost 90 degrees. Woke up the following day with no electricity, no one apologized or explained what was happening. Due to the lack of electricity breakfast was cold, couldn’t toast bread, or use the coffee maker.

We were expecting to lounge by the pool, but it was closed the whole time we stayed. We thought the room would be cleaned daily. No one ever came plus we had to ask for towels because we never received clean ones. The day we were going to check out we were awaken by a knock at the door at 830 I’m assuming to finally clean the room. Even though our checkout was at 12pm. A

The price was unbeatable for a double queen and a small kitchenette, which also included a free breakfast. The property is in a great location close to the Border Patrol intake center and the airport, which was one of the most important factors, as we were in El Paso to see my son take the oath of office to become a federal law enforcement officer and we needed to drop him off to both of the locations mentioned above. The beds were clean and comfortable but the carpets in the room and the hallways are worn and somewhat dirty. You can see there are signs of wear and tear all over the place and a need for upgrades. But the price and location are unbeatable. There is a pool (it was closed for repair the entire time we were there - 5 days whihc was a bummer as the avg temp was 100 deg) The free breakfast was decent but limited, as you can imagine. Every day there was: 3 cereals, scrambled eggs, potatoes, refried beans, bacon or sausage, waffle makers, juices, coffee, and bread/pasteries. The offerings do not change they are constant which is fine by me. It allowed me to fill up for the day. Breakfast is available M-f 6 am - 9 am and weekends 7 am - 10 am. The grounds are not well kept. The blackout curtains in the room were a little too short and let light in. The night staff were not very friendly and hard to understand (older gentleman at the desk) Teh young ladies at the desk in the daytime were personable and polite. The breakfast attendant was alway busy but not personable.

The overall look of the hotel was not clean, the room smelled like smoke and many parts of the building were falling apart.

Poor maintenance

mentioned . Cleaning staff had left for the day .Nothing was turned in to them .But that they had there own Locker room .To go in the following day . I WENT ALL THE MANAGER A MS. B. GARCIA THAT NOTHING WAS TURNED IN . HOW ? THAT THEY DID NOT HAVE THE ITEM AND THAT NOTHING , WAS TURNED INN FROM THE CLEANING STAFF. IT SADENS ME & MADE ME VERY ANGRY ... VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.

We have stayed here many times over the years, but this last stay will be our last unless they remodel the property. Our room this time had a funky smell, the carpet in the hallway is disgusting. It’s time to update this hotel.

Property is horrible dirty from the entrance to everything including the room, old dirt carpet and smells horrible dirty. Air conditioning with a very loud sound, room entrance light not working, one lamp light not working, only one used not new toilet paper. I checked out one day earlier since this was a disgusting environment. Will like a refund for the second night.

Could use some overall maintenance but nothing to avoid booking over.

Why I stayed Saturday 23-2026 Sunday,Monday,and check out Tuesday May 26-2026 and my room it was cleaned,no towels, I have to go to from desk to ask for toilet paper

The hotel is in desperate need of upgrades. The carpet is old, the sink had cracks in it, as did the tub. The pool and jacuzzi were out of service, and the patio just look neglected. I won’t be staying at this hotel ever again.

Good area , pool was not active at the time , rooms have changed little bit need little more maintenance , breakfast is fine just get out early otherwise nothing left . Near to center principal areas and mall .
