Quality Inn - Denton

Towels were stained, air conditioner was loud, they charged me a dollar to check in even though I paid in full through Expedia. It was acroom with a bed for a night.

Bathroom is too small, no juice or water at breakfast, only coffee, no hot water in the shower. Disappointing.

The AC in the lobby smelled like it needed a new filter.

I like the room last minute booking and had no problems

The hotel doesn’t look like the photos. Room is basic. I did ask to have wash cloths replaced as they had mascara stains. I was told they did not have any and those would have to be washed again. Never received replacements.

Inexpensive hotel with basic amenities in a good location for an overnight travel stop.

Also when I came into the room, it was insanely hot. For Texas summer I can say with confidence that the room was hotter than outside which was over 90° and the air conditioner barely worked. I had to go purchase a fan just to survive. It really is you get what you pay for.

No ice machine. Roach greeted me when I walked in room. Mildew smell in the building. Not family friendly.

There was a box sitting out front of the hotel over night. Limited parking, the breakfast was not maintained.

The hotel was a refurbished building. Could it have been better? Yes, but it was ok. There were wear & tear areas throughout the hotel, but my floor and room were in very good shape, condition wise. I’d stay there again, if I were in the Denton, TX area.

AC is nice

Everything was fine except my room reeked of something like stale air mixed with mothballs. I would book here again, just bring my own air freshener.

Second time staying at this property, but in a different room. Bathroom was larger. But there was no place to put soap or shampoo./conditioner in the shower other than on the floor poor. There was no holder for toilet tissue other than on the counter adjacent to the toilet. Again, the bathroom door swung open toward the hallway and the door entrance to the room.

The staff was very helpful. The room and bathroom were clean. The A/C in room was difficult to adjust. Our opinion…the bathroom door was hung backwards. The door opened to the room entrance door making it awkward for a mobility challenged person to negotiate.

The air conditioner was terrible in the whole hotel. It was extremely hot and uncomfortable. The smell was also terrible, I don't know if it was dirty or moldy smelling but it was not pleasant. Our bedding was dirty as well as the towels in the bathroom were all stained. The breakfast would not have been bad except both the apple and orange juice were hot. When I first arrived at breakfast there was very little out. I was going to just have some cereal only to discover there was no milk at all. The ice machine was out of order on our floor. I took the stairs every time I had to go up and down because I was afraid the elevator was going to break down when I was on it, however I had to use it to check out because I had several suitcases that made using the stairs to difficult and thought it wasn't even going to make it to the first floor. I am very disappointed in this hotel and will never stay here again on my many trips to Denton Texas.

I'm going to give it two stars out of being nice the night attended was very very rude secondly I was traveling with a working certified police K9 and they charged me $150 cash deposit next the rooms were not all that great they were not all that clean and definitely would never stay here again

The bed sheets are torn. No more TV control. The bath tube has hole. The bed blankets are stained

The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was superb. I wasn't expecting the Ritz, but I was looking forward to quality. One of the towels had a big whole in it, about 3.5 inches in diameter. Even more surprising was the press on fingernail I found in between the sheet and cover blanket. It leaves the idea that the bedding wasn't laundered and changed between guest. It wasn't the worst experience, and I would book this location again.

when I arrived to my room I realized I sleep with a dirty sheet it had yellow stains all over it. The carpet in the room felt dirty sticky, the shower was leaking and the wall behind the toilet was patched very very poorly. the towels were stained. Tried to call the front office and the phone in the room did not work. Overall, it felt dirty.

At check in, they wanted a cash payment because they said "third-party provider" had not charged the correct amount. Paying the cash was the only way they would issue me a key. I had a stay booked there return trip and I immediately cancelled it.

All the Front Desk Staff were awesome! Ivory was especially helpful in securing my jewlery which I inadvertently left in my room. She held it at the desk until I could pick it up. Thanks so much!

For the price it was over all good. Food was good. AC was great.

Breakfast was super limited in items and quantities. There was only one lady handling all, front desk and breakfast. She was kind and did her best, but definitely a lot for one person. Bathroom in room smelled very bad, had to cover shower drain to help with smell.

The blankets and towels were very stained and the paint was peeling off of the wall.

The elevator was out of order. The lobby AC didnt work so it was hot in the lobby during check-in. The clerk was extremely rude while check-in.

Breakfast not tooo good This was 2nd times in 3 weeks i stayed there with the same room twice. #115. 1. when i got it temp set at 66 F both. This time the water leaked near the AC and wet the floor. I am afraid it caused the bad and wet humid room. I just said the fact....this is not a complaint. Luke

No safety bars in tub/shower

The property is a busted down former decent travel hotel that has a pool in the back that’s filled in with dirt when I arrive. The elevator was not working and they told me the only room they had was on the third floor and it’s a walk up the lights were not working in any of the stairs to get up to the third floor, but I was exhausted having traveled all day so I did it. There was no blow dryer in the room and the room was hot when I got there, the air-conditioning was not on in the entire hotel building.

Check in was interesting. Air conditioning in room did not cool adequately.

The location was perfect! Close enough to restaurants but away from traffic! The hotel was clean, quiet and staff were friendly. The breakfast was excellent, with self serve waffles, the options were adequate. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. The only thing I didn’t like was the elevator didn’t seem safe. You had to push the button twice for the door to open on the first floor. I was nervous it would get stuck.

My room had a hole in the floor, the pillows had no cases on them and the room smelled like mold. Checked out same day and got a different hotel.

Nothing. The elevator was broken and it smelled horrible Everything. When I checked in, they told me it was a $30 cash deposit and it would be retired at checkout. They didn’t accept card. When checking out, they said it wasn’t a deposit and it was because I put on the reservation it was 2 people. I guess they charged $30 charge for the horrible breakfast they had. So I was lied to. Never staying there again

If you don’t care about comfort this is the place for you, the smell in the entryway was very off putting and i was concerned about the state of the room, the room did not smell but was real hot upon entry. The ac would cool the room down, almost too cool then it would shut off and the room would get hot, all night . Too cold then too hot, the bed was hard and uncomfortable, the shower had no water pressure which made it difficult to wash. Not the greatest breakfast but there was something to eat.

Very bad facility! No extra towels/wash cloths available. Room lacked extra tissues; inadequate number of electrical outlets; bed linen dingy; towels stained, exterior grounds & parking lot not maintained. Breakfast inadequate and insufficient amount. No water nor towels available for gym!

We hated our stay here. First off, tge receptionist Bridgette, was really rude. When we asked for coffee creamer, she only wanted to give us 2, rolled here's at us, saying rude comments and very disrespectful. She should not be working in customer service. Then, our roomgad a gift hole by the bed. Our kids almost fell from it a few times. Breakfast was constantly empty. We had to keep reminding staff to replenish the food. The shower wouldn't work properly. We had to move furariund to plug in the microwave. We would never stay here again

the pictures on the app are completely different than what it looks like. it’s very scary, the front desk man was very rude and creepy, barely spoke english and couldn’t help us with anything, just kept telling us we’d have to talk to management about anything we asked. we went to our room and when we opened the door it immediately smelled like a dead animal and we just knew it was all around a bad idea to stay there. 0/10 do not stay here, it’s filthy and they have rude staff. i booked the room for 2 nights and couldn’t even get any type of refund.

The bath tub was alittle small and real narrow for a plus size tall person other than that it was all good.

The staff was nice, breakfast was typical hotel breakfast nothing fancy. Sheets & towels had stains on them & the bathroom grout looked moldy. Tub didn’t drain properly.

The only downfalls that would drop the rating down for me would be the hotels location to restaurants because I typically like to walk to surroundings places for grocery/meal runs, the amenities which were slim to none (with a small gym), and the overall first look at the hotel seemed a bit off putting, but again, the staff was great and it sufficed my 3 days of stay!!

I personally did not like the hotel; it seemed dirty, and it lacked a public restroom in the lobby. Also, noise was coming out of the bathroom.

It was a typical clean hotel room. Nothing fancy. Stuff worked.

The room we got light fixtures did not work. It smelled like mold. The restrooms when flushed made a loud noise. No iron in the room, and when I asked for one the front counter person asked if she could go in the room to check if there was one!

The room was clean, the water was hot, there were enough clean towels and bath products. The bed was fine. There was cable tv and it was fairly quiet. I can't comment on breakfast although I got coffee and actually it was fine. We didn't use wifi

for the $150 i spent on this one night at this "hotel", i expected more than a $75 motel stay. I have never had as low quality a room for this price in my adult life. first of all, it was in the sketchiest part of Denton i have ever seen. the pics of the property do not tell the story. the mattress cover was disgusting, and i did not find that out until the next morning when the sheet corner had popped off the room was the smallest i have had. there was no chair at the "desk", and only half a chair by the bed. the "closet" was just as lame as the desk. I NEVER ONCE felt safe at this place. a little before 10pm, someone banged on my door like they were going to kick it in. and then when i went to look thru the peephole, no one was there. it was fairly terrifying. the front desk did not answer when i called, but they called back, and told me it was "some kids" they had reports about, which was not very comforting. they told me they would try to talk to the parents, and they never followed up about that... they just left us to our imaginations about it all night. the room was dirty, unsafe, and ruined our evening. NEVER AGAIN

I hate everything about it, rooms smells like mold, people fight and we can literally hear it from our rooms, so old I didn’t like anything about it.

It’s an older building and to be fair there is construction in front of the property. It’s not bad if you’re just looking for something simple and not too many extras. Breakfast was mid.

The AC was not on when I arrived so the room was hot and musty. After I cooled down the room it was fine.

Elevator broke down making 2 seniors climb stairs. However it was fixed by morning. Elevator had trash in it 3 times in a two night stay. Hallways were extremely hot. Room A/C worked very good nice and cool. Room was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly.

Stained sheets and pillow cases. No one came to clean or change the sheets in the room daily. Breakfast was okay. My son asked for fresh towels they didn't have any.

Definitely not somewhere I’d stay again. Pictures at NOT updated. Property is old and not kept well. Pillows were yellow and flat. Tub dirty. Floor old and gross. We needed a place to stay so it was a safe place to get rest but not somewhere I’d recommend.

Better off at a Motel for the price. Linens and towels are not clean, parking lot is nonexistent.

Average Quality Inn.

The hotel is outdated and in poor condition. The room had a noticeable mildew smell, and the bathroom door would not close properly. The walls had chipped paint and clearly need repainting. The bathtub was chipped, the bathroom floors were dirty, and the toilet was nearly unbolted from the floor. Additionally, the soda machine was not functioning properly—the drinks were warm and tasted stale. If it hadn’t been so late when I checked in, I would have canceled my reservation and found another hotel.

Rooms were run down. Everything felt old and cheap. Towels were old and bare minimum toiletries. Seen hotels in Mexico with better accommodations. Felt like a cheap motel.

3 rd floor smells bad, no daily house keeping, stains on pillow cover

I paid for my son who was going to a wedding they said he needed to pay I paid in January it was a complete screw up He missed the rehearsal dinner. It took me over an hour to fix this. Very disappointed. I’ve used you for years

Stayed 6 days, room was never serviced except to get trash. Was denied clean towels on 3 separate occasions because they were “out”. Got towels ONCE in my entire stay. Mattress is memory foam is sinks terribly in the middle so it’s the only area you can sleep on it. And the AC is not temperature controlled and goes on and off as it pleases.

The hotel was nice. Customer service was trash. They act like they don’t want nobody to stay there and it’s a hotel. The lady didn’t wanna give me my deposit back because my son spilled his bottle on the bed. He’s a baby and she was all like I don’t know what that is how would I know what that is and then decided to go further and say you didn’t even pay the full deposit, etc. it was just completely unacceptable.

Dirty, light didn’t work in bathroom, tv didn’t work. $50 cash only (no card) upon check-in was a surprise. Says on website a card would be required for possible incidentals but that wasn’t the case.

False advertisement. Hotel looks nothing like pictures. Stains on all of our bed sheets. When asked for replacement sheets, we were told “Well all of our sheets look like that. They are still clean.” BURN THIS PLACE TO THE GROUND

Staff was very friendly and immediately reacted to any concerns I had. Property is Ok. I didn't pay for the Ritz so it is clean, everything works and bed was comfortable.

The staff was friendly and the room was fairly clean my only complaint was the bedsheets were disgustingly dirty and the bathroom towels were stained and looked like they hadn’t been washed.

I was charged extra for guests. I was not sure who all ways going but whatever. Then, the lady charges me for one room, then another and asks for the remaining balance in cash. WHAT? I’ve never had an experience like this ANYWHERE else. Will never be back.

The beds were not that comfortable

Everything was as it should be. No complaints at all, with the exception that the coffee should be stronger! I had a disappointment tho when I stopped for gas and noticed my passenger side had a red sticky substance smeared all over. I noticed the car parked next to me at the hotel, had popcorn, and a smear of red stuff on it! Maybe a wedding prank to them, but I sure didn’t get married! $14.00 later, my car is now clean again. 😪

Dirty smoke smell all throughout. Cigarette burns. Stains on bed. Vending machines did not work. Staff very unhelpful. Did not appear anything like the provided photos. Please stay somewhere else if possible. Sketchy neighborhood. Elevator did not work properly.
