Good place to stay for a reasonable price. Much better than other places I've stayed in Denton.

The only issue I had was that after a night that we stayed the room was not cleaned like I am normally used to. We ran out of toilet paper and I had requested towels and toilet paper through a new service they had but it was not viewed until the following day. When I called the front desk; I was asked to go get the towels and toilet paper at the front desk. Other than those the stay was great and the beds are comfortable.

The staff were great and attentive. The rooms however smelled of mold and showed their age. We were unfortunately awoken at 7am by extremely loud maintenance in the hall. I’m talking hammers and drill loud. This property has potential but until they resolve a few things it’s worth skipping. Also the elevator feel and sound like they are giving out, very unsettling.

First positive the staff was very helpful. I asked for a shower bench because I’m handicapped and they provided one. However the bathtub was way too low and I had difficulty using the shower. I would just say that when renovating a bathroom for disabled people. Maybe try getting a chair that is a bit higher from the ground. You probably use standard. But I’m telling you that it’s too low and I struggled and I’m just normal size. I’m 5’7” so that is something that I would definitely change. The breakfast was great. I loved the selection and like I said the staff was awesome. Five stars.

Everything was good and love the fresh fruit watermelon and strawberries for breakfast.

Staff was AMAZING Walls are very thin. There was a spot on the wall in the restroom that may have been mold.

Breakfast was good, like the indoor pool and gym.

The room was clean, and the check-in was great. We did lose power, so we had to walk down the stairs from the 4th floor, but that is not the hotel's fault; the whole block lost electricity. Thankfully, the room remained cool in Texas heat until we checked out.

The room was clean. Parts of hotel looked older. Overall, it was okay. My only complaint was that I was charged an extra $60 when my bill was closed out. The hotel blamed expedia and expedia is difficult to reach so I never got an answer. So buyer beware if you use this hotel or expedia

The breakfast was awesome! The parking was horrible. We had to find a spot to park at the holiday Inn next to were we stayed.

Front desk very welcoming. But the room was very humid for the entire stay. I think the drains on the AC units need to be checked. Also some machines in the gym weren't working. Other than that we had a good stay.

Unfortunately, the second room came with its own issue\. As soon as we opened the door, the entryway had a very strong urine smell\. Surprisingly, the rest of the room didn’t have that odor, and the air conditioner worked well\. The bathroom was actually the cleanest part of the room\. Between the odors and overall condition of both rooms, I didn’t get any sleep\. The food was just okay—nothing memorable\. The one bright spot was the staff\. Everyone we interacted with was kind, professional, and helpful. They even took the time to help us print an important document for a college orientation, which we really appreciated. While the customer service was excellent, the condition of the rooms made this stay one I wouldn’t choose again.

The hotel is a very nice place to stay when traveling, I left my special pillow there and called them they send me a link to claim the pillow and pay for shipping to send it home to me! Not every hotel will do that, Clean rooms, friendly staff and great breakfast

We booked a room with two beds, but were put in a king room. The manager brought us an air mattress FROM HIS CAR.

The room was good. The only thing I did not like was how dim the bathroom lighting was - a little hard to put on makeup. I don't need ambiance lighting in there

Stayed there 3 nights and not once did they ask us if we needed fresh towels or anything! I had to put trash cans out in hallway to even get them emptied! Walking down hallway to go to a side door and it always smelt bad, like dirty diapers. The breakfast tasted like jail food! Will not return there.

Closeness to the Football tournament. Didnt have to do alot of traveling.

The staff was very friendly and kind. We made the reservation online which would only allow for a handicap room, they upgraded us to a suite when we arrived since we were not in need of the handicap room and to keep it open for those who may need it. The rooms and property were very clean and modern. The pool was a little chilly first thing in the morning but I'm sure it would have warmed up in the afternoon. The breakfast was fantastic, we eat gluten free and we had plenty of options, including tator tots and watermelon. The staff even kept the breakfast stocked past 'closing' when new guest came in. Overall 10/10 would recommend!

Hair left on shower wall and curtain. Room was damp/muggy. Sheets were wet. Room and hallway smelled. Buildup of dust on edges and corners of hallway carpet. Charged way more than I originally booked the room for with an ADDITIONAL $50 for "incidentals" charged. Nothing was damaged or stolen.

The staff was not friendly and all the rules for my dog like saying he can’t go on the furniture or the bed tiny Tv for the room just didn’t like it

This was our 5th stay in three years at the La Quinta in Denton. The staff is always welcoming; the rooms are always very clean and comfortable. We will be back!

The room smelled like smoke and musty damp. The entire property likely needs a redo. We brought out dog so maybe they put us in the dog friendly room that were gross. I wouldn't stay again but it was one of only two hotels in the area that allowed pets.

We stayed here for a total of three nights. Overall, the hotel was good. The floors in the room were a bit sticky. Front desk staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We stay here every year for Dupree. See ya next year!!

The hotel is fine - clean, quiet. The staff is helpful and courteous. However, minor maintenance is being ignored. Simple things that didn't affect our stay but indicate a lack of attention and care.

Staff were very friendly and courteous. Room was clean but bathtub had some hair in it. Lots of banging from the hallway in the morning, and someone next door with a very loud TV that kept me up. The bed wasn’t very comfortable but the pillows were nice. Couldn’t figure out the TV until the last morning so would’ve been nice to have more information than a sticker on the back of the remote (1 of 2). I did not eat breakfast so I cannot comment but it did smell good.

Clean room and easy check in process

Beds were so squeeky that everytime someone shifted or rolled over it woke everyone up. No one slept well. Otherwise the hotel would have recd a good review.

Room was average. Staff ok. Breakfast good if you get there early. Walls thin. Housekeeping was bare minimum. Wasnt on the property all that much during our stay.

Horrible issue with conflicting information about what size dogs were allowed at this hotel. Information from Expedia, Bring Fido app, national La Quinta website, and Denton website all different. And when I got to the hotel I was treated poorly from the desk clerk because his supposed paperwork was entirely different from all that I had researched. None of the sites had listed a 60 lb weight limit as his paperwork stated and I have a Great Dane that exceeds that. After having a long exhausting travel day I was almost denied a room although I had talked to the same front desk person the day before and nothing was mentioned about this 60 lb weight limit. Pet parents beware
