Comfort Inn Near UNT

Really appreciated the fact that you have total control of the AC! Some newer systems limit the lowest temp you can set it to, but here we can crank it down and actually cool off and get some sleep! Hot water, good water pressure were a plus as well.

I had to leave just an hour after checking in. The sheets were dirty and had hair from previous guests. I asked the front desk for another room, but the second room had the same issue and also a strong, unpleasant cleaning odor. I’m currently working with Expedia to get a refund because the hotel conditions were unacceptable, and I ended up having to go out at night to find a different place to stay.

The breakfast menu was good. I love the Texas-shaped waffles. We did not use the hot tub; we didn't know they had one. The faucet in the shower was continuously dripping. We could not sleep because of the sound of the dripping, especially in the middle of the night. We could not shut the bathroom door to minimize the dripping noise. The door does not close, and it was stuck.

Do not trust the pictures on line, this hotel doesn't look anything like them.

Cleaning Doors cards didn’t work

when we tried to use our key it would not work. went back to desk and were told not to hold key next to phone. should tell people that at check in.

There was a lot wrong with my family’s stay at this location. Upon arrival, they could not find our Expedia booking. The key cards did not work when we got them, so I went back downstairs and the guy told me it’s normal for them to not work and you have to repetitively slide them in and out for about a minute before it will unlock. The hotel was not clean, and there was a large dog who ran out of the elevator. The bed linens were not clean and there was crumbs and smears on the surfaces. The toilet paper was low. At breakfast, as soon as I made all of my kids waffles (it was missing coffee cups and trash was everywhere) and sat down, water started dropping from the ceiling, and started pouring. It was coming from the light fixture!!! This felt like a movie scene at this point. I had to throw away our breakfast because it all got wet and I couldn’t help but think there was mold or toilet water coming down from the ceiling. It was all over the floor and the front desk guy was on the phone texting someone about it. There was no apology or offer for compensation. The location and hot shower was nice but that is just about it. The floor also felt greasy and didn’t seem clean so I couldn’t let my toddler on the floor. When we went to check out the next morning, the desk guy was talking to somebody on the couch in the lobby and told us just to leave our key card on the counter, so we didn’t get to discuss anything. Poor quality, poor customer service. Not a great stay.

CLEAN ROOM AND GREAT PLACE FOR AN OVERNIGHT STAY ON A BUDGET

Room was ok..clean towels clean sheets.. Walked in lobby and it smelled like mildew. Floors otw to elevator were filthy, breakfast was a bust. Floors, tables were dirty and food at 830am was horrible.

Booked 2 rooms, they put us on the 2nd and 4th floor. My teens were on the 4th floor and had to be moved to another room as there were bugs in their room. They were moved to the 3rd floor and the room was much better. The whole place smelt wet and stale. The elevator shook like it was going through death thralls and it stank, we took the stairs after that. The workout room was tiny, a treadmill was dismantled in the corner and it stank of feet and mold. The pool was greenish so we didn't touch it. During breakfast a light started leaking heavily onto a table near us ruining their breakfast, staff moved the table and mopped it up but it was still leaking a half hour later when we walked by. None of the juices worked, the sausage and eggs looked sad and like they had been sitting for quite some time (breakfast starts at 7 and we went down at 7:15).

Some staff. Tv was broken and remote was broken and they did nothing to accommodate for it.

I liked nothing about this property, I even emailed the manager with no response on our stay Look at response from above

Do not stay here!!! You’re better off sleeping in your car! The area is not good, looks like drug deals happen all the time. I go to check in and behind the counter I saw a container of like “Home Defense” bug killer. That should have been a huge red flag. Get to our room, it takes 5 min for the key card to work, get settled, go eat dinner, come back and the AC in our room messed up and was just blowing air, wasn’t cold. They move us rooms in a heartbeat (a plus). We get to the room, we see a roach crawl up the door/wall. I go down stairs to tell them we are leaving. They try to get us to stay, I mean why wouldn’t they, we were scheduled to stay 4 nights. They try to start the process, I go back up to the room, wife said she went to use the bathroom and saw another roach crawl across the floor. In the end they did not give us a single penny of a refund, so screw this hotel!!! Even after Hotels.com tried reaching out to them. Thankfully Hotels.com gave us a little credit on our account.

It was ok

No outside sitting areas, room key would not work good vendor machine did not work. The stanky smell inside hotel, first floor by the elevators hole in ceiling water coming thur roof.

Room wasn't clean, beds were not comfortable.

It was nasty like a quality inn. I have pics. Dirty and low maintenance I should have stayed at any of the six cheaper ones next door.

After traveling through many States, and staying in different hotels, we have decided that Comfort Inn has the most comfortable beds, clean rooms, and price by far. Everything was good for an overnight stay. We didn't have a chance to check out the Gym or the Pool, but maybe next time.

I couldn’t never get in my room the key cards never worked. It was very frustrating the guy at the desk had to open the door. I will never stay there again bad experience and the room had a bad smell like mildew.

Great hot water and pressure for the shower. Room was clean and comfortable. Property could use a refresh as it looks well worn. The ventilation system has a musty smell throughout the hotel. Single elevator is old and slow, but it still works. Overall, this hotel was good if all you need is a place to sleep and shower. Staff dealt well with what they have to work with.

If you are just looking for a bed but don't care about cleanliness, smells, quality of food, upkeep of facilities, this is your place. Upon entering our room we inspected sheets and pillows. The sheets were worn and some pillows had spots or stains on pillow cases. The floors didn't look clean- saw leftover spots of the last guests coffee. Walls had not been wiped down as there was a brown smear of something sticky on.wall. Bathroom floors appeared to not have been clean in quite sometime. Mold was all in the vents of AC unit in room. There's a strong smell of some chemical in the air. I'm guessing it's cleaning products and they are trying to mask the bad smell throughout the hotel. In one hallway a trashcan was collecting water from a hole in the ceiling. Went down to look at breakfast and scramble eggs were greenish/gray in some parts. I just got coffee and made a piece of toast. The lady at the front desk is nice. But if you want somewhere that's clean and management seems to care about the property don't go here.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. The property itself was disastrous. The breakfast was terrible. My room had a serious AC issue - although it ran constantly it never took the moisture out of the air. I also noticed a black substance around the AC vents in the ceiling. I saw one guest who came down and asked for towels because his AC unit was leaking. Unfortunately, I would not recommend nor would I stay again at this facility.

traveled for a softball tournament! everywhere else was super pricey but we stayed here and have a few times! price is great beds are comfy and breakfast is decent like waffles eggs sausage and all other basics. would deff stay again if playing there. Pool and hot tub was a plus after a full day as well! there wasnt anything I didnt like. all was good!

Dirty outdated nothing worked mikdew smell

Overall stay was ok but there were a few issues. There was a spot of blood on the mattress pad. It was changed out with a clean one. It took several inquiries to figure out the TV. The room as warm with poor circulation it felt much warmer than what thermostat read. The quality of the breakfast was poor with grey eggs and limited other choices.

The room was spacious, and the beds were comfy. It is an older motel, but still clean, although it was noisy.

There were two homeless women in the lobby and they stayed there all night and were asking to use our room to shower the following morning. We were on the first floor and heard some member of the hotel staff yelling at a woman at 5 am.

We stayed overnight the bed was comfortable.

My biggest issues with this hotel was the room keys. They did not work right half the time and had to get them rekeyed multiple times. I have never had that issue at any of the MANY hotels and have stayed at. The front desk was very helpful though. The gym was a bit gross but the hot tub was actually hot which was nice. This hotel is in need and of some renovations/updating to compete with the much nicer hotels in Denton

The property is not in a great location so that can’t be helped. The parking lot is well light and the staff was friendly. It’s a dated property but it was fine for a couple of nights while in town.

My room had some stains on curtains and chair and trash from previous people, such as beer bottle cap under chair and trash under bed. Also my door would take about 13-17 try’s before it would unlock, told I would receive new room and never did.

Only one jet worked in hot tub

We kept getting keys to a room that didn’t work. And then when we got into the room the room was dirty and had not been cleaned. We were moved two more times. Very dirty and feels Iike the hotel is for transients more then out of town guests. My worth the price

I had to change rooms because the first room smelled like mildew and Clorox mixed together. I asked to be moved and they moved me to the 4th floor. The room floor was dirty and when I checked the room I moved a couch and they had stuffed the dirty sheets and trash behind it. I requested house keeping and they changed the sheets but they had stains in them. We reported everything and all they said was well you can call Expedia to get a refund. Trying to get a hold of anyone at Expedia was a headache on its own. Overall I paid for what would be a high quality hotel. Overall terrible experience.

The hotel was super clean. The pool was too cloudy to use but honestly I wasn’t feeling it anyway. We have dogs and our room had flooring that was specifically for that. Lately I’ve stayed in several hotels and this was by far the best.

Had the main light full of bigs in the first room we tried. Next room just had a few flying around that we had to chase down and kill. Furniture and walls had signs of moisture damage and wear and tear. Fridge had things left ovee from previous guest. Didn't dare to check what they were.Needs updating and cleaning lessons for the staff.

The door to our room was broken and he wouldn’t change our room. Plus the bathroom had hair in tub and on toilet we had to bring our cleaning supplies and clean ourselves. We won’t be back cause he was just rude.

We liked the heated pool and that it was near restaurants.

Disappointed with the breakfast. Advertised to open at 6AM but when I arrived at 6 the one Staff member was just starting to set up. I wasn’t able to enjoy a full breakfast as I needed to leave at 6:15. Otherwise the rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking lot well lit and appeared safe. Staff friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Room door frame looked like someone had tried to break in, bathroom door stuck and was very difficult to open, sheets had some stains that looked like sweat from previous guests, hallway smelled like marajuana.

Our room was covered in what looked to be dog or cat hair and the room itself was filthy. It also had a very strong smell.

Room was a little hot even adjusting the temperature to get cool. Room had a funny smell like something damp. Bed mattress was a little too hard.

This hotel is extremely dirty. The walls are stained, there was food in my room when I checked in. There were also cockroaches and bedbugs, and the people at the front desk wouldn’t refund me or give me any kind of discount when I told them about the bedbugs and the bites covering my body. Everyone should avoid this place like the plague.

Limited, no variety

Every thing was fine. One of the rooms door was hard to unlock. Had to have the key card redone several times.

First time staying here very nice cozy place with friendly staff room is very clean and they have a nice complementary for breakfast. Will definitely try out this place again whenever I’m in the area.

Our stay was on 12/26. The hotel was filthy, and I have pictures.The toilet seat was broken off in room 104, dead bugs under lamps and beside bed, curtains were covered in stains, broken towel bar in bathroom, and floors were dirty with neglected cleaning…piles in corners. Room 215 had a live cockroach and dead bugs by the bed, filthy stained curtains, our a/c unit didn’t work, dirty undusted furniture, unclean shower, filthy floors, stained bedding. The hallways reeked of sewage and odd smells. The breakfast was sparse and we didn’t eat anything due to the obvious neglect everywhere.

Was not able to stay due to a family emergency and was told that I couldn’t recoup some of my money.

Room very clean. Staff mostly friendly and helpful. But some male desk staff interacted minimally, usually only if I initiated.

There was no parking, had to park on the street. The bed was terrible, sloped in the middle and every time i sat on it or rolled over it made a popping noise, room 205. Won't be staying there again.

Room was clean but had roaches

Staff was very nice, room was nice, but 49` when we checked in and took quite awhile to warm up. Breakfast was ok, nothing exceptional...not much variety. $100 was charge upfront fir incidentals, but has not been released in the past 4 days. Good inexpensive hotel, needs upgrading and some renovation.

Musty smell and the heat and air could not be controlled it was 65 and I was very cold.
