The mattress was old and creaky and the room reeked of old smoke. We had to go get some air freshener to make it bearable.

The breakfast was good. I enjoyed the berry waffles with whipped cream, bananas, and caramel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nicer than the one we stayed in in Gallatin TN but not as good as the one we stayed in at New Orleans. The main entrance of the hotel smelled of mold or mildew. There was hardly any lighting in our room. The hot tub and pool were full of debris and the hot tub was green. The moldy smell in the lobby should be eliminated and pool needs cleaned daily and the hot tub shouldn't be green.

There were people partying next door and it seemed like the hotel was full of marijuana users. It permeated into our room and was very stinky. When it affects my space and my family then I am upset. The rooms are a little small compared to others I've stayed at.

The second night a small roach crawled out if the refrigerator, I guess there were some gaps in the seal. The room itself seemed clean. My bed was comfortable, but the other bed in the room was very hard and difficult to sleep on. The elevator made a loud creaking noise. The showers made noises too and difficult to adjust to the correct pressure and water temp.

We will be back. The pool was clean and beautiful, room was spacious and clean, breakfast was good, cleaning service came and made our bed/brought new towels each day. Nothing bad to say about our 4 day stay at all.

The only issue was you had to ask for housekeeping if you were staying more than one night. Was not made aware of the situation

This is an older hotel that has been or is getting remodeled. Shower pressure was ok but the room smelled like urine. Asked for some room spray front desk gave me febreeze but it didn’t help much. It was room 308 I reported it to the front desk. Bathroom was clean. Sheets were clean. Everything worked. But room smells awful.

The kids enjoyed the pool it wasn’t crowded and the hot tub was really enjoyable. The smaller kids liked that the 2 and three foot area was large for them and it was nice being able to catch ufc prelims on cable. There is a Popeyes and McDonald’s right beside it so no need to door dash.

I only had 2 issues: the TV didn’t work in the first room they gave me but they changed me to a different room. The next room that I stayed in had an issue with the sink in that the sink stopper was in and for the life of me I couldn’t get it open. The water would eventually drain out since it wasn’t a great seal. For the 1 night I was there, it wasn’t worth changing room yet again.

Also one of the cleanest hotel staircases I've ever seen. The pool area was clean, and never overly crowded. All staff was friendly. We came for a softball tournament and we were constantly in and out, and never had one issue. Would definitely recommend.

I loved absolutely everything, from the moment you arrive at the hotel it looks impeccable and the staff is friendly. The rooms are very large and have everything you need to make your stay more pleasant. Breakfast perfect and delicious, they have cereal, oatmeal, waffles, they offered me the loyalty program you can get discounts and other benefits for those of us who are frequent travelers. -----

My trip, I was excited to get to the hotel so we could relax my 17-year-old grandbaby and I. We had trouble with the TV We had to keep the A.C. at 62 degrees just to get to keep it. Cool. I like the front office note about the TV and the AC they told me they were going to set the maintenance the next day. Never came out open the window shade.How to keep everything dark when we turn on?The lights We had a hurry up. And turn off the lights, staying the dark. So, keep the room cool when I told the front. Desk again about it. They offered to move me to another room. But I told the ladies why you wanna move me when I'm about to check out. I tell her or maybe you should give me an extra night for free. Or. To remember me Something The lady set no I come to Deer Park. I try to get hotels caused by my family. This is the second time I've got a different hotel in Deer Park of the sinistry and been very disappointed. I do not like the fact that I never can affect the AC. My room never got clean. I had garbage powder done I had to ask for tiles, after messing with the TV for a good while we finally got it to work but I paid for I should not have to go through all this. I should have been able to have a nice comfortable room. Not being in the dark to cook at coal. I shouldn't be having trouble with the garbage getting towels. They should have been there and clean for the time that nights 3 days. And no one wants. Can we pick up the garbage? I had to go get towels trash bags myself.

Felt like a new facility. Very clean overall to include the room and restroom. No odder at all in the room or building and kept up very well. Overall cleanliness of the facility.

Stayed here more than once, great hotel for an overnight stay or a couple of days. Its under construction right now making renovations so its kind of loud during the day time.

We checked in a little early and there was no water, they had construction going on in the lobby and throughout the hotel made it really inconvenient! They ran out of waffle mix for breakfast, the coffee machine in the room did not work! I honestly feel like I should get a refund to top it off the desk lady said I needed to pay 25.00 in case for damages deposit!!! Seriously

The room they gave me A/C wasn’t working had to switch to another room then the elevator was not working they had remodeling going on the pool was out of service. It would have been nice to know all this was going on before we booked.

Warning ⚠️ Do not stay here. It stunk like mildew. AC was not working well. Walls were stained. Construction outside. Doors stayed opened. Anyone off the streets could walk in. Unsafe for my family and I throughout the night. Checked out early bc they wouldn't allow my dogs even though website says pet friendly and would not reimburse me for the nights we didn't stay. Would not cooperate with us.

Stayed here during a softball tournament and the elevator stopped working over night so at check out in the morning we had to lug bags, equipment and large coolers down the flight of stairs. The carpet/rug was folded in half by a the doors to the pool and I tripped on it.

Hampton Inn is just a great place to stay. The atmosphere is welcoming and very clean. Most of all nobody beats their breakfast or their prices.

Although our stay was short, I was disappointed in our stay. Beds were not comfy (mostly pillows). There was loud noises from people outside all night, not sure if it was from other people staying or another area nearby. The main reason for booking this hotel was for the morning breakfast. We had an early start to a sporting event for my daughter and thought the breakfast would be convenient. Wrong! They had nothing. We got there at 8:30 and they had ran out of egg. Waited 15 minutes and we were told they were no longer serving egg, however, breakfast ended at 10am. There was also no milk for the cereal, no waffle batter. The only thing for breakfast were French toast strips and yogurt. There is literally a sign bragging about their breakfast next to the counter! The staff was too busy being on their phones to care. Next time, I'll go for the Holiday Inn around the corner.

It was easy to park and they did not charge to park you car.

TV didn’t work despite help from desk clerk had to change rooms after being completely unpacked. Breakfast good but limited selection.

The rooms and common areas had a very strong smell of cleaning supplies. I’m not sure what they were trying to cover, but it gave my colleague and I headaches and sore throats. The breakfasts were terrible. I will definitely kill for an alternative next time I come to this area in December

The hotel is overall is ok however the bed in 306 was extremely hard and our first night the fire alarm woke us at 230a.m. due to a False alarm. Had I not been in a non-refundable contract we would have checked out and went somewhere else as it was we endured another night in a hard bed. I wish they'd offer a free night stay to comp us for the disrupted sleep at another location and the hard bedding. Our son is working in the area. We'll be returning but not to that location.

breakfast is weak compared to other Hampton inns. Some Hamptons have a Social hour in the afternoons with drinks and snacks but Houston didn't offer this option. Our toilet tank would not fill up after flushing but worked alright we discovered water was turned off to tank at the wall.

check in was awful. being from another country or something idk threw her off. it was jus all around unpleasant. wouldn’t recommend. the hotel down the road is so much better. sure stay by best western way more worth it.

They tried to charge my card more over the night. When I talked to the front desk she argued with me about the room I was in and showed her that the room I was in was wrote on the card holder. She then got an attitude with me.

Elevators out. No mention to help with luggage or even to get a luggage cart. Put us (elderly couple) on the second floor where we had to haul up our own luggage. Hallways smell extremely musty. But room was very clean. Will not ho back to that hotel

I have a 3 and 5 year old and we had just came back from the beach, as soon as we walked in we got a call from the front desk about a noise complaint (at 6:30 pm) We wnt went to the pool and were back around 8. My husband went to rhe store and picked up pizza for the kids and I. By 9:00 we already had two more noise complints which one was from me dropping my floor on the phone, the other was me getting my youngins to lay down. The gentleman running the front counter suggested i bring my kids to the lobby to play around, which is ridiculous because how do you get two young children to go to bed after being let loose in a lobby, he also asked if we would downgrade our room and opt out for the sofa which one one of my children slept on without reimbursing us any money for going to a smaller room. He was very rude and threatened to call for help if i couldn't get my kids in control. I understand noise complaints but both of my kids were in bed by 9:30, so a complaint at six is absolutely ridiculous. The lady running the nightshift was very understanding but the gentleman working the day shift should have more training when working with customers.

HE SAID YOU CAN EMAIL A MANAGER BUT THEN SAYS THEY WONT CONTACT YOU BACK BECAUSE THE MANAGERS ARE OFF WORK. OH FORGOT TO TELL YOU HE LAUGHED WHEN WE TOLD HIM I WAS DIABETIC AND WHEN WE SAID WE HAD NO MONEY ON A CARD ONLY CASH AND THAT WE DROVE FROM OKLAHOMA. VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. JUST KEPT SAYING HE COULDNT DO ANYTHING. AND WASNT CALLING THE MANAGER.

for both parties Why are your clerks dropping the last syllable and add the "un" sound to every word. My last name does not end with the letters "un" and not every sentence ends with the "un". Conrad and Nicky Hilton must be rolling over in their graves regarding what their Hotel chain has become. I will not stay at another Hampton Inn. Deer Park,Texas is a bust.

Breakfast staff were very nice and helpful. The only thing I was disappointed was that they ran out of sanitizer wipes at the front seat area and took them a while to refill.

This property is need of updates, no USB charging ports in the rooms, toilet backs up, pillows need replacing no vending machines on the floors, and these or just a few, of what needs to be updated.I have stayed here for several years and have seen the property go down,and if you ask about anything its the same old COVID excuse...

I stay in this hotel often when visiting family. Always pleasant and easy access to anything you need. Lobby is almost always very warm and the ice machines don’t always work but overall a clean comfortable quiet place to stay

The lack of a hot breakfast is disappointing. Even though housekeeping would not clean room during our stay, staff was very accommodating with towel and coffee supply.
