Reviews
The hotel has a great location, particularly for events at the American Airlines Center, and the staff are generally friendly and accommodating. However, there are consistent complaints about the quality of the rooms, with issues such as dirty rooms, uncomfortable beds, and malfunctioning air conditioning. Additionally, many guests have reported problems with double billing and slow or unhelpful responses from management when trying to resolve these issues.

A continental breakfast would be a nice addition. Restaurant offered large breakfast and smaller bar area had limited selection of pastries.

Great location to events in Victory Park. It was clean and fairly well maintained. There was an elevator out which caused problems with people waiting. The bar and restaurant were understaffed for the crowd that was staying at the hotel.

It was very well cleaned and the staff was amazing.
- 5/5
It was super nice and clean hotel and staff very helpful and pleasant will definitely stay again
- 4/5
Like the area for the concert I thought the price was high for the quality of room - also paying 60$ a day for parking when you’re already staying at the hotel is absurd. And for that reason , I will go somewhere else next time

Additionally, the trash cans did not have liners, and the bath mat/towel placed outside the shower was dirty upon arrival. I was disappointed with the overall condition of the room compared to the cost of my stay.

Also there was a drilling job being done, we were not made aware. It kept going all afternoon, each time I called the front desk they would only say…”they should stop shortly” … it was really loud. Food was good, gym was good, pool was good and spa staff was awesome. Property location was great!

It’s always a great stay at the W.

Great hotel! Always nice!

Staff was extremely friendly and hotel looks and feels clean. Only thing issue we had was we like to sleep with A/C on 67 and it never got to that in the room. (We only stayed one night so didn’t mention to hotel) would stay here again.

very nice hotel with spacious clean room and bathroom. the staff was friendly and catered to our needs.
- 5/5
The hotel was friendly and inviting, and the staff was great. The amenities around the hotel are awesome and we had an amazing time.
- 5/5
The hotel was in a perfect location, adjacent to the American Airlines Center. It's in a very walkable area (be prepared for office building construction) with lots of restaurant choices and parking around the hotel. The employees throughout the hotel (reception, concierge services, luggage and parking assistance, the hotel's restaurant managers and waitstaff were all helpful, friendly, knowledgable, and quite accommodating. The room was very comfortably sized with plenty of storage and lots of light coming in through the very large picture windows. We plan on coming back and staying again.
- 5/5
Overall a 10/10. Everyone was kind, and the room was amazing. Super close to American Airlines Center so it was perfect for the Stars game too! Will be back!
- 4/5
They should really consider changing out the shower heads to something more useful. The shower head in my unit was a little bent forward. I’m also a little OCD and hate leaving soap on the walls when I shower. Can’t spray the soap off the walls with an overhead shower. Horrible design if you ask me.

Excellent staff and gorgeous hotel. The location couldn’t have been better for attending an event at the AA center

The staff was nice and the room was clean. My room wasn't ready at 415pm when I checked in and that was annoying. I opted to move to a different room because it was unknown how long it was going to take for my room to get clean. They did put a rollaway bed in my new room with no fee, so that was good. Ask questions when you check in, like where are the hotel restaurants, pool, and other services because it doesn't get explained to you at chheck in.

The staff was very courteous and kind. They provided a bottle of champagne as we were celebrating our anniversary!!

Every thing was great.

The room has a balcony with 0 furniture, how am I going to enjoy the view and outdoor balcony if theres no seating. The room when you first walk in opens into the restroom with 0 privacy. I dont know if Diddy helped them with the floor layout but its cringe walking into your room to only see the entire restroom. The shower doesnt even have a door, the shower head has literally no pressure. I went with a party of 2 to eat at their restaurant only to find a piece of their porcelain plate in the food. I was informed they dont have their iconic bar open anymore. This was a big reason why we stayed here. The spa was so busy we could not make a reservation for the entire day. For a $500+ room I expect better quality of services.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. The bed, sheets, and pillows were so comfortable. We had a view of the American Airline Center. We attended the Mavs game that night. It was very convenient to simply walk across the street to attend the game.

Staff and room were awesome!

Overcharged by $1,100! Room ok, restaurant very very poor service (had to wait an hour from ordering but food had not arrived yet so left)

- 5/5
Perfect location and accommodation for anyone wanting to attend an event at the AA center or anything in Victory area.
- 3/5
The check in was okay, but they changed my room from a balcony room to regular suite room. One room was hot, the other was cool. The sink drain made a popping noise all night long. Not what I was expecting at a hotel of this nature!
- 4/5
Disappointing restaurant service

Very nice hotel and friendly/knowledgable staff the only thing was the ac didn’t kick in until maybe in the middle of the night for whatever reason

My mom and I stared here in late July because Jin of BTS had a concert at the American Airlines Center. I can't say enough nice things about this hotel - to say we had a terrific stay would be an understatement. We chose the hotel because it was right across the street from the venue, but our stay was made even better by the terrifically helpful and kind staff, the lovely rooms, and the surrounding area of the property. As BTS fans, we were also delighted by how kind and accommodating everyone was to us, and how welcoming they were, so that was a lovely bonus. This was a great place to stay, and we'd gladly come back even without an event to go to. Highly recommend!

Great staff and great room enjoy my time for my bday and anniversary
- 5/5
Loved the close proximity to the American Airline Center, literally just across the street if you are watching a game or concert.
- 5/5
Everything was superb and more. Thank you.

Amazing location for American Airlines arena. Nice hotel, pool and one of the restaurants had an unscheduled closing while we were there. Check in staff was super friendly!
- 5/5
The hotel staff/employees were accommodating and friendly.
- 5/5
This was perfect for the concert I attended at the American Airlines Center. Staff was pleasant, had everything organized, and made everything smooth for me. The room was amazing! Definitely somewhere I would stay again.
- 5/5
Stayed here for two nights for BTS’s Jin Concerts in July. Location can’t be beat for convenience as the American Airlines Center is literally across the street with plenty of dining options within walking distance (no need to pay for additional parking or fight traffic). The staff was very friendly and service was great during stay. Everyone we encountered from the bellman, front desk, housekeeping, and room service was consistent. This was our second stay here and we had another great experience here.
- 5/5
I went to see a concert at American Airlines center. The location was perfect as we could walk right across the street. The street is small and had an intimate feel, not like normal downtown feel. And the parking was right across the street for $30 or you could valet for more. We also enjoyed the 16th floor pool. We did not have a great view from our room since there was just construction but it wasn't that big a deal. Also, be sure you eat before 11pm because everything seems to close down around that time. I will definitely stay there any time I have a concert or sporting event at the AAC.

For a kind stuido suite at over $600/ night the couch was tirn and the dining room table looked like it had a few too many bachelor parties on it. We asked for a different room, inly to find out we were in the 3rd floor and every car that had loud exhaust wanted it to echo off of every building neaby.
- 2/5
Extremely disappointed as reviews state this is exceptional hotel. Bust and broken furniture on a balcony that was extremely dirty because it over looks massive construction sight not a nice view of downtown. The room has definitely seen better days and showing signs of extreme usefulness mirror rusting and fixture's rusting carpet pulling up in corners. Not at all worth $585 dollars for one night, plus $70 for valet.
- 5/5
Beautiful ambience and exceptional customer service
- 5/5
Great location, right across from the stadium
- 1/5
I booked and prepaid for my stay five weeks in advance and the hotel did not honor the booking. The hotel confirmed my reservation the day prior arriving, regardless of the fact that they had overbooked did not have a room for me when I arrived to check in. The staff was disingenuous about their efforts to find a reasonable alternative, insisting the only possible solution was to switch hotels in the middle of my two night stay and return to the W for the second night. I have already been charged for the stay in the new hotel and have not seen any initiation of a refund for my prepayment (even though the staff promised that would be expedited).
- 5/5
Nice and clean hotel. Walking distance from sporting event, shopping and restaurants.
- 4/5
I had a suite with a balcony the view was a construction site and was wokeup early Saturday morning by construction noise
- 1/5
I was looking forward for the rooftop pool and amenities but were under renovation
- 4/5
The location was great especially for a hockey game. The rooms were okay. The bathroom is set up differently with the shower and sink open. Also, the open concept shower doesn't make any sense to me. Water was spraying everywhere and it gets chilly. The water pressure, however, was amazing! Also, considering how much the W charges per night, you'd think they could put better toilet paper in the bathrooms and not 1-ply. Our view was also a large construction site right across the street so not a great view but also not the hotel's fault.
- 4/5
Only had 1 elevator working for the lobby due to construction
- 4/5
Had a good stay. An overcharge on my bill but front desk corrected it.
- 5/5
All staff that I had interaction were absolutely amazing. The hotel was also conveniently located in the center of everything, making walking to restaurants or other events easy. Will definitely book at this location again.
- 5/5
The hotel’s location was very convenient. We stay here because of a concert at American Airlines there was no need for us to uber anywhere. Will be staying here again.
- 5/5
My Stay at the W Hotel was amazing! I’ll definitely come back very soon!
- 5/5
We absolutely loved our time here. It was so fun and convenient for the Stars game. The bartenders were so friendly and the overall atmosphere had such a great vibe. We will definitely be staying here again!
- 5/5
Breathe taking from the moment we entered into the hotel and a heart felt staff welcoming with knowledge for any question we had. Highly recommend
- 5/5
The W was amazing!
- 5/5
Great hotel. Great location
- 4/5
Didn’t seem as though they use the typical Marriott mattress collection and pillows
- 5/5
VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE GOING TO WATCH ANY GAME AT THE AMERICAN AIRLINES ARENA
- 4/5
Nowhere to park and forced valet. $56 a day for valet parking.
- 1/5
Our last night was a nightmare. There was a fire alarm across the street that was non stop since AM and it was so loud it wouldn’t let us sleep. Obviously nobody reported it to the police or the fire department. When we complained this morning at the front desk the guy dismissed it completely and he just limited to say he had just started his shift. Careless and indifferent! I’ll never stay there again!
- 5/5
La regadera del baño es terrible, 15 minutos con el agua abierta esperando que saliera caliente, además es muy poquita el agua que sale.
- 3/5
The hotel was under construction so it was less than a luxurious stay, from a lackluster check-in to the entire stay. It felt like I was in a construction zone. Not my typical W experience and not worth the $$$ I paid.
- 3/5
Good but not great. Construction affected stay just a bit. Pool area could be maintained better.
- 4/5
The biggest negative of my stay was the room temperature did not really cool off during the 24-hrs I was there. This made sleeping very difficult. If it would have cooled off more/better, this would have been well worth the money for one night. The lighting in the bath area was off and the distance to the mirrors over the sink made it difficult to put on makeup but I managed. The location of this hotel was what made this stay good for one night.

Beautiful all around! Easy in, easy out! Awesome staff!
- 4/5
Chose this hotel because of its location across from AAC. Superb staff, friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and common areas. Valet parking was smooth even with several cars arriving at once.
