The Westin Dallas Park Central

The property was clean and rooms were clean as well. The front desk attendant was not friendly nor informative. When she gave me the key cards she didn’t tell me the room number, the floor, and she also didn’t point to the elevators. I have stayed at other Weston’s and service has been excellent. His attendant acted like I had been there before and I knew my way around the hotel. At checkout that attendant was friendly, courteous, and an excellent representative of Westin.

As frequent travelers, we love that the staff remembers us from visit to visit. We often arrive late…this is a rare hotel that provides very good food, quite late into the evening, via room service.

The breakfast selections were fresh, plentiful and very good; the melons were delicious. There was a nice area that had scramble eggs, meats, biscuits, etc. There are also bagels, toast, muffins and more. However, my favorite was the omelet bar where you could choose the ingredients and it was prepared as one waited. Coffee was flavorful and the wait staff refilled our water glasses as soon as we finished.

The staff was very friendly and there was never a wait. Hotel was clean and room was spacious. We didn’t try any of the amenities.

Great Staff Made Me Feel Right At Home !

The only issue was a staff at the restaurant who was very rude. A SHORT FAT Spanish guy usually serving breakfast. We requested for another cutlery set and he rudely said, ITS CALLED SILVER WARE. even when we pointed to it on the next table. Such person needs to be trained to treat everyone equally. Besides this, our 2nights stay was very comfortable.

I really thought the lobby set a nice tone to our stay. The breakfast seating area was engaging and the food buffet was extensive. The parking garage however had limited elevator access which made it harder to manage your suitcase- use the front entrance to put your luggage in the car. Overall very good value.

Accommodations were very comfortable and the gym was nice. However, had I known they were going to charge $25 per day for parking, I would have chosen another hotel. This should be validated for the guest. It's overkill.

Come to find out I was authorizing $25 per night for parking, which was not disclosed. The only thing asked about parking was if I wanted to self park or use valet, which I chose self park, but was never told there was a fee or how much it was.

Great stay as usual at our favorite hotel in the DFW area! We had a great night of restful sleep and a great breakfast for a reasonable cost. Omelette was made to order and the bacon was superb! The lobby staff was very courteous and the room was cold! We return here every time we visit Dallas because the price, food and service are all exemplary! We will return soon!

Never stayed in a hotel where there was so much activity with questionable behavior. The hotel is apparently pet friendly with no dog stations and literally a patch of grass that has never seen a lawn mower. There are signs saying to pick up after your dog but it was obvious no one ever has picked up anything. Hotel tv had no options for streaming.

The front desk staff were genuinely nice! The older, African American gentleman that took our luggage up, was a ray of sunshine! The setup there for the World Cup was really neat! Location was good to easily hop on and off the freeway when we needed to! Parking garage was easily accessible, and the fee wasn’t outrageous! I would definitely stay there again!

The rooms should be more clean and you have to request cleaning your room, we stayed 2 days , the second day they didn’t restock coffee or water, forgot to pickup trash

This hotel was amazing. We were only there one night.

The bed was comfortable. Gym was well equipped. Pool was relaxing, on the smaller side, but I enjoy the rooftop pool with my morning coffee. Kitchen and waitstaff could use attention. The salmon was dry and difficult to cut even with a knife, calamari, while described as crispy was crunchy, all breading and overcooked, burger was ok, but undercooked and I ordered a half frittata and received a whole. I don’t eat a lot of burgers, but it was the best thing I had on their menu. I would stay there again, but not eat there.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Loved how they even had lavender oil on the nightstand to use just before bedtime. Staff at the bar and restaurant were very friendly and attentive. The fact that the hotel lobby was decorated and welcoming to any and all, especially during this FIFA time, was awesome! I would definitely stay here again.

1. Nice little bar in the lobby with TVs 2. Easy access to major roads 3. Little pool for the kids The bad… 1. Room wasn’t ready until 1.5 hrs after check-in 2. Room smelled like smoke. 3. There is a $25 minimum parking per night fee if you have a car. 4. Sheets didn’t fit they bed they were too small-my feet stuck out of the bottom 5. The gate to access the garage didn’t work well-you have to swipe your card 4-5 times before it works. 6. Hotel and rooms were pretty weathered and dated-needs a bit of updating and love!

Bed was comfy! Television was not Roku friendly ( old).staff were very polite!!did not care for the shower head ( rain shower)type.Would Definitely Stay Again👍

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but the air conditioning on our floor (7) was not robust. Even though the thermostat was set to 65 degrees, it was too warm for a blanket to be used at night. The bed was a little too soft for us but I think most people would be happy with it. The breakfast was excellent, we ordered off the menu and split a very good omelet, which was plenty of food for 2 people. I would stay here again!

I just want to make a comment.. why do we have to pay garage parking?

Toilet was backed up in the room. Only 2 of the 5 elevators worked. No access to lower floors without elevators, as the stairways were locked.

If you're staying in Dallas and you don't need to be downtown this place is fantastic. There's a full bar in the lobby, the place is spotlessly clean and very safe feeling. There was a very nice outdoor pool (although we didn't use). We only stayed for one night, so we didn't really use any amenities like the gym, but I'm sure it was top notch, too. On the downside, breakfast is not included, but available and parking also costs extra. I will 100% stay there again and would recommend to anyone.

Nice room comfortable beds. They didn’t clean my room one of the days not happy with that because I like my room cleaned every day when I’m staying in a hotel other than that nice.

Our sink and bathtub didn't drain well. That is my only constructive feedback. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property to others. The breakfast included in our rate was excellent and service overall was very good.

My go to hotel. The exact definition of “not a hair out of place.” Staff is A1, prices are A1, the bar is so convenient, the breakfast is great. Rooms are clean. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Centrally located and quiet as well.

I had booked two standard rooms for myself and a friend. During checkin we were asked if we wanted the rooms to be conjoined and we said yes so my original floor that I was on was moved and the new rooms that we received were amazing! It exceeded our expectations for the stay and we were grateful for the staff accommodating us. We were grateful for the cleanliness of the rooms and the sizing of the rooms, we had a really great stay here!

I stay at this hotel every time I come to Dallas. However, I don’t like that if I’m staying more than one night I still expect my room clean & fresh towels in the room. I always have to go ask for towels and they never come clean the room. Besides this complaint I do enjoy staying here.

I stayed here while my significant other was at nearby Medical City hospital. It was a very nice room, and close to so many restaurants.

Nice hotel with fast elevators. Our room was very clean. The bed was nice but the mattress was uncomfortable. I expected a better night’s sleep for this nice of a hotel. Staff was helpful. No free parking is available.

The pillows are big fluffy lumps and they gave me the worst stiff neck. Also, no shampoo! You can’t tell when the bottle is empty. I called to get shampoo and I got two more conditioners because it said apres shampoo and was confusing to the staff, I think.

Staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The on-site store was especially helpful for drinks and snack needs without needing to leave. Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

The hotel lobby and common areas were nice. The room itself was fine. The bed was awful. Very saggy. The shower was a rain shower head with a hand held. The water pressure was decent but the handheld did not work fully. The AC didn’t cool as much as it should have. I will say the valet was timely and responsive. We checked out on a Sunday morning and went to eat in their restaurant at 10 am. They had stopped serving which was disappointing. It wasn’t awful, but I’ve definitely had better for the price. I would not pick this hotel again unless I had no other option. I usually love Westins too
