On the day I arrived, I was given a room, but when I opened the door, I found it had already been used; I had to go to the secretaries and ask for another room.

Wonderful experience, beautiful hotel, well maintained…spacious room, great view, very pleasant and welcoming staff. Enjoyed rooftop lounge and Overeasy restaurant.

Overall the hotel was great from the staff to the room. One thing I did notice was the head boards had stains as the material is fabric.

The property was really nice! Loved the room, just a bit smelly and didn’t have trash bags but was quickly assisted when asked! Other than that, it was a nice stay and felt “luxe” without the price.

Loved the room. Was so luxurious from the room to the bathroom. Everything was very clean. Rooftop bar had tasty drinks

This is a very beautiful hotel right downtown Dallas. The rooftop pool is absolutely amazing. They have plenty of cabanas lots of shade. There is a rooftop bar. There is a delicious restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. I’m not sure about dinner. From the valet everyone there is extremely friendly and very prompt. I would highly recommend this hotel absolutely beautiful. They took the time to go over the artwork and the history over this hotel. fun fact Tina Turner stayed there we will be returning.

Disappointing
- 3/5
Unfortunately, the maintenance employee arrived without the necessary tools to resolve the issue and had to leave to retrieve them. The problem was eventually resolved approximately 20 minutes later, but the entire situation caused us to get on the road nearly two hours later than we had planned, which significantly impacted our travel plans. While I completely understand that unexpected maintenance issues can happen, what was most disappointing was the lack of urgency and communication in addressing the situation. At a luxury establishment, I expected a much higher level of responsiveness and guest service, especially when dealing with a non-functioning shower and an unusable toilet.

We really enjoyed our stay, the staff is so friendly and accommodating. We definitely be back!

My husband booked us this hotel for our anniversary and we should have did more research. The main appeal of this hotel was the rooftop pool. We checked in and headed up to waterfront where the rooftop pool was only to be told there is an event taking place and it doesn’t open to the public until 5. We ended up going to Scouts that was in the hotel to get a bite to eat. We waited 5 or so minutes until my husband finally got up to find someone. They gave him a menu and we waited another 10 for someone to wait on us while employees were just talking at the bar. We finally just got up and left. We went back up to waterfront only to be told there was another event taking place and we had to pay $30 to get in. There were so many people and blaring music, so much for a relaxing romantic night. The same for the 3rd floor pool. We went back up to our room which was right beside the 3rd floor pool and quickly realized we were not going to be getting any sleep for the night. We called the front desk telling them we wanted a refund and spoke with Emma who informed us we could call hotels.com who we booked with and have them call them to approve a refund. We were then told by hotels.com the hotel denied a refund. We then just packed up and went home. Paid good money to be a guest and be able to use the amenities and was unable to do so. Horrible service all the way around and ruined our special night. Valet was great that’s the only positive. Heed our advice and stay somewhere else.

The property was very clean. The staff very helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was great!
- 1/5
Nice area, and rooms were clean as well. Staff weren’t helpful, we got checked into the wrong room and laughed at by the front desk when we called to fix it. Then got overcharged on the bill at the end of our stay.
- 5/5
No complaints, such a beautiful hotel, spacious bathrooms and a true high class vibe.
- 4/5
Beautiful, clean hotel with friendly staff. The location of the hotel is very congested. The only issue we had during our stay was the room keys stopped working twice on day 2 of our stay. Lots of activities to participate in at the statler.

Overall a good hotel. Nice location

Everything you need for a staycation in one place! If you’re looking to get out of the routine this is the perfect place. The accessibility of the room is great and amenities like the fitness center
- 5/5
Everything was amazing the parking is the issue need to be a bit faster
- 4/5
Great place to stay but for the money I was not impressed with the condition of the room. Our premium room had a wonderful bathroom but the carpet had a run in it, the cabinets were all chipped and damaged and paint was peeling on the doors. The Tv modem was humming as well. The $60 parking was a bit steep for the money we spent on the room as well. Other than than the staff was wonderful, the pool had a nice vibe and the speak easy always has good cocktails. Don't think I would go back.
- 5/5
Everything was nice, will return!

I’ve stayed at numerous multi star Hotel properties. I have never been treated as well as I was treated at this property. My wife and I were greeted upon revival and helped with our bags. We checked in, and everyone was so incredibly helpful and nice but not in a fake way. These people mean it, and they’re very good at it. I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
- 5/5
The Statler was exceptional. Everything was as expected or more.

I like the staff and the atmosphere Thx elevators are too hot for the amount of money you pay.

The design and the location The uncomfortable heat of the building and the water amenities not working properly. The bourbon and banter speakeasy was closed due to water issues which was part of the reason for booking that specific hotel.

Great hotel with two nice pools and a very nice atmosphere

The room could be better as far as cleaning. When I got there the room smell like smoke and was very the air conditioner wasn’t working. The front desk people were very helpful with accommodation.

2) The pool on the 3rd floor is kind of dirty and you have to go up using the stairs. There's another pool on the 19th floor but it's only for 21+ (not family friendly). 3) The room is nice. 4) Location is perfect, close to everything.
- 5/5
Incredible spot in the middle of everything

Took us over 2 extra hours after checkout for our room to be ready only to find out that our 7th floor rooms ac unit was out so they moved us to the 3rd floor with no view outside of the roof of the neighboring building. Then after we got checked in and went about our night we got back to our room only to find out our shower didn’t function due to a pipe burst. Staff was kind and tried to accommodate us about the situation but overall it derailed our trip unfortunately.

Great property, great staff
- 3/5
Hotel was historical which is cool but a little run down in places for the price. My biggest beef was $65 parking which they double charged me. Only stayed one night.
- 2/5
The staff went above and beyond. Nothing in my review has to do with them. The rooms are a bit outdated. The bathrooms are beautiful but overall the first room we had smelt like cigarettes and the HVAC didn't work. Again staff was so accomodating immediately switched our room. The biggest letdown was from the marketing online I thought the pool at the hotel bar was open to the hotel guests at all hours and it wasn't. The pool you have access to is a bit sad. The food options weren't really available for lunch. But, I wouldnt let this deter you from booking here. The history of the hotel is really cool and it's a very welcoming environment

My wife and I stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary last night, and upon check in our key didn’t work. I made the trip all the way back from the fifth floor to get the key reprogrammed, and went up again, and it didn’t work again. Third trip to the front desk, we were given a different room, but upon opening the door it reeked of smoke, either cigarette, or possibly marijuana. At this point, we were given a third room, but the view from the third room was of the ugly pipes on the roof on the back of the building, even though we had requested and paid for a room with a view. Finally, we were given a fourth room, which finally was acceptable. It got better briefly, especially after they told us that the first round of drinks would be on them at the on site bar. That being said, we were still charged for the drinks at checkout, I had to ask for them to actually honour their offer of the first round free, and we were also billed for breakfast, even though we had booked a rate that included breakfast. I’d even asked the server what I was able to get within the confines of the breakfast package, and was told that we can get anything on the menu, and it would be covered by the breakfast credit. However, at check out we were initially build $56 for the not free free drinks, and the breakfast that was only partially covered. After arguing that came down to $28, but the fact is when the first round is supposed to be free, and breakfast is supposed to be included, it should be $0

Beautiful location and very comfortable room. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud.

I arrived after 10pm exhausted from traveling and booked for one night for a specific work meeting being held there. I was advised (by a very nice front desk worker) that the hotel overbooked and they would be putting me at another hotel! Not the front desk workers fault but as you can imagine a huge inconvenience for a trip less than 24 hours specifically booked for being on site for a meeting. The hotel they sent me to was not nearly as nice and required a later night and earlier morning.
- 5/5
The room was fantastic. Clean, staff was nice and professional.
- 5/5
Close to everything and great restaurants nearby.
- 5/5
The Statler is a marvelous property in a centrally-located area of Dallas hot spots! Dining at Overeasy for breakfast and lunch is a must and the rooftop is a great way to wind down the day poolside or at the bar.

Car parking was $60/day, which added to an already expensive room. The room temperature control was a mess. Either the room too hot or cold.

Good spot to have fun at night. Drinks were very expensive though.

Our room was nice and clean. We loved the shower and bedroom. Staff were very friendly. Only issue was the ice machine on 4 floors were not working. Check in staff were able to make a note of it and refill my tumbler.
- 5/5
Parking is a pain so we used the valet. Family Pool was icy, no hot tub, the bar staff was drunk and couldn't even take our order. Other than that the hotel was clean and nice and the room had a beautiful bathroom.
- 4/5
I was on vacation with my family and the hotel was beautiful but I was very disappointed that I could not take pictures on the rooftop with my 18 year old daughter, this hotel was chosen for this.

It was definitely a beautiful hotel! Staff members were all amazing & answered any questions I had. Room service was even more amazing with a view of the city! Looking for a lovely weekend getaway go try out The Statler! It’s beautiful & let’s start with the waterproof upstairs was the highlight of the trip! The amazing bartenders were the amazing souls I’ve met! I’ll be back soon!! Thanks again for an unforgettable experience!

The valet lost my keys to my car for almost 2hours which made me miss the event that I was in town for. I really want my money for wasting my time
- 1/5
I requested I needed a refund a week prior to arrive for personal reasons that we were unavoidable. The Statler would not grant me a refund nor would Expedia. I will never stay that again. This was my second time there.

Room was outdated and no mini fridge for how expensive it was is not a great look
- 1/5
Place seems outdated. Room had zero amenities apart from two bottles of three dollar water. Valet took 45 minutes to get our car. Someone was walking around with the key is his pocket the entire time. Missed our dinner reservation over it. If that wasn’t enough at checkout tried to give us wrong keys again. Won’t be back. Going to the Omni or others for now on.

They turned me away bc of the truck I was driving. Never had a problem when I was driving my 2025 Cadillac Blackwing. Unacceptable at the least!
- 2/5
Came here to celebrate my husband’s Birthday upon arrival I was given a room that was not what I booked online, not only that the room that I was provided was leaking water from the ceiling. Called down to the front desk then I was put in the room I originally booked online. Had I been told up front that I would be put in a different room other then what I booked for to accommodate my stay would have been maybe a little better but being told something so important after check out didn’t set well with me.
- 5/5
Room was amazing! Staff helpful and courteous! Amenities… off the chain! Bowling, pool tables, drinks, food, live band… didn’t have to leave the HOTEL for anything!!! 10/10!!

The rooftop girl employee was rude. The housekeepers had an urgency to kick me out the room, as I waited for the bellboy. The hotel is an older hotel, even though it’s nice, I feel like the experience with some things made us not want to go back.
- 5/5
Very clean room, the staff was extremely kind and friendly also they upgraded us for our honeymoon! Very down to earth place very worth the price!
- 1/5
This is no longer a premium hotel. Lack of hospitality focus, limited staff don't watse your money on room upgrades because its just Not worth it. Hilton management should clean house and get the staff refocused on the customer experience. Paid to upgrade to a King premium (almost $400) and the room didnt have a view, mini fridge and only 1 sink in the bathroom. Toliet wouldn’t flush and was clogged , tried to call the fromt desk but they didnt answer. You had to text on the app. Hilton needs to hite some staff and train them. They should secret shop the property, what a disappointment.
- 5/5
Manager went over and above to take care of a problem!
- 5/5
It was amazing! Have no complaints
- 3/5
Building is old, no fridge, no microwave. Wouldn’t even let us checkout late. Overall an underwhelming experience
- 3/5
Nice hotel overall, but definitely not what I’d call luxurious. The elevator and lobby had an unpleasant odor, and the valet service was terrible, even after requesting your car, you still have to go out front and ask again. Honestly, not worth the price point.
- 5/5
The hotel was a true classic and the speakeasy is a must visit!! Great location, great rooms and great service!!
