Valet sets the tone immediately: seamless, polished, and fast without feeling rushed. Check-in is handled like they’ve already anticipated your arrival, not like they’re reacting to it. That matters in a hotel at this level. The room quality is exactly what you’d expect from a flagship Ritz property in Uptown Dallas—quiet, heavy on comfort, and designed for actual rest rather than visual gimmicks. The bedding is exceptional, the blackout is complete, and the sound insulation is strong enough that the city feels far away even when it isn’t. Service is where this property separates itself. Staff don’t hover, but they also don’t miss. Requests are handled quickly and correctly the first time, which is harder to find than it should be at luxury hotels. Dining on-site at Fearing’s is a standout. It feels like a destination restaurant that just happens to be inside your hotel rather than a convenience add-on. Breakfast service is equally dialed in—consistent, calm, and not chaotic even during peak hours. The location in Uptown is a real advantage: walkable to solid dining and nightlife, but the hotel itself stays insulated from the noise. This is not a trendy, flashy stay. It’s controlled, mature luxury that prioritizes consistency over spectacle. If you know what you’re booking, it delivers at every level.

Everything was great except we didn’t have towels in our room one morning. It 30 mins for them to get them to us. That was disappointing.

I have never met a friendlier staff than at the Ritz Dallas. Wow. Amazing job. We loved our stay the beds were wonderful. Recommend the spa and if you go add the oxygen infusion, you won’t regret it.

The lobby is beautiful but the rooms need updating. The bathtub was old with some missing grout and the shower was small for $1000/night room rate.

Everything from the check in to check out process, the staff and ease of services are outstanding. The room was very neat and comfortable. Fearing’s restaurant was amazing.

Hate when hotels charge a resort fee (this is a city hotel not a resort) and then give it back to you saying you got a special credit for the restaurant.

Loved the vibe here! In classic Ritz-Carlton style, as you walk into the hotel, you can breathe in the aromas which are very unique to each hotel. Then you hear your favorite Rolling Stones song piped in overhead. The staff was so friendly and the food was distinctively prepared. The bar was a nice rest stop after a day of tours. The weather was unsettled so the patio was not open. It looked like a great place to gather with friends!

We had so many problems with keys restaurants. Too many people and not enough staff

Property is old. Needs a facelift. Bare bones in the rooms, kinda felt like a Covid room. Not 1 thing extra in the room. Was great A GREAT PROPERTY,just a normal room with A COUCH.

We celebrated our 15th anniversary here and they made us feel so special! Additionally, the courtesy car is a great touch - we used it multiple times!

Everyone was extremely friendly. Room was not clean. There was trash underneath certain areas and I had my small dog with me.

Room: 4/5 - The room was clean & comfortable. I had one of my best sleep in a while on the very comfortable bed. However, I understand that they’re going to remodel the rooms which is much needed. Service: 5/5 - The service was excellent. All of the staff were welcoming w/ friendly smiles. Ambiance: 4/5 - The hotel & its common areas were small, didn’t feel grand.

Service was exceptionally better than any other hotel chain. Room and sheets were clean and properly managed (many high-end luxury places do not seem to make this a priority, but rather, make the place look clean).

It was wonderful!

Overall great visit despite the circumstances. Our home was without power for a full week. Unfortunately in a booked-full hotel we had a room next to the employee closet/stockroom. It could get quite loud at times. Also, no business center led us to share the desk in the room. Which was a bit small for two computational scientists haha

Excellent stay at the Ritz in Dallas. Taking many precautions for COVID-19. No turndown service, and no coffee service (2 black coffees at the bar downstairs was $21- should be free since there isn’t a coffee maker in the room). They also only allow so many at the pool and we had to be put on a waiting list (would have been nice to be informed of this change during our check in). Overall, a great stay.

Enjoyed our overnight stay very much. The staff seemed to really care about us. They were friendly, and helpful.

Being Ritz one expects excellent service, but the friendliness and going out of the way to accommodate a client, does come as a bonus! Well done Dallas team, could not be more impressed from the Reception, Concierge, Restaurant to the Spa. What a lovely start of the Year! Thank you 🙏

What could be bad about staying on the top floor in a suite at the Ritz? Delightful place for a date night or whatever reason you have to come to Dallas.

difficulty checking in because they could not find my reservation. booked a suite that was underwhelming. no second restroom in suite. service in bar slow generally underwhelmed by our experience.

Staff was exceptional. Corner room was ideal; quiet.

On the plus side I would like to thank the house keeping staff for keeping up with me. They waited until 7 pm to do my room, after an unusually long nap. I want to thank them for that. All-in-all, a very good hotel.

Every single one of the staff made us feel VIP. Always a pleasant smile on their faces also. Their house car fleet is luxury all the way! We will definitely be visiting this hotel again. NO QUESTION!

Time to upgrade the hotel

Pool service was bad. Had to leave without signing our bill because he kept leaving then didn’t come bk for almost 45 minutes. Rooms are dated & nothing worked in our room... Won’t choose this hotel again...

it was wonderful, staff was very nice and helpful. bathroom was super neato and big. Sleeping on the bed was like being inside a warm cloud.

From the rooms, to the spa and the outstanding Fearings restaurant, you won't find a better place to stay in Dallas. Be sure to stay Club level, it is worth the extra!

The Ritz is owned by Marriott now and that’s what you get there is a beefed up version of a Marriott hotel from staff to room to food not worth it in my view

Check in staff was not properly trained to work at a hotel of this caliber. I was extremely disappointed in his lack of experience the check in employee had.

Thought it was over priced but otherwise thought was excellent.

I was disappointed in my room. On the last night, we had no hot water. I'm a 27 year retired Marine veteran. Cold showers do not bother me. But when my fiancé has to take a cold shower and is crying, then we have a problem. The engineer came and fixed it. But the next morning before checkout (4am), it was cold again. The front desk gave us a key to use a shower in another room. But to be paying $500 per night for a room, I shouldn't have to be going through this. Very disappointing.
