The entire staff were beyond professional and more than accommodating. I’m planning a stay in one of the penthouses with my girlfriend in the next few months for a special occasion, and the staff, thus far, has been excellent in helping with the planning.
- 5/5
That being said, the spa is absolutely amazing and was definitely the highlight of our stay!

Excellent service by the staff. However, construction in progress in the main lobby. I would expect discounted price for the stay when construction is in progress in the main lobby. I would also expect Coffee machine in Rooms so that the Guests don't have to go down to the Coffee shop to grab their first cup of morning Coffee.

I decided to stay at the Joule because being downtown it was close to Baylor Medical center. When I arrived I had valet parking. $67 per night. When I walked in there were drop cloths everywhere because the entire lobby and bar area were under renovation! Did not expect that, and, the dust etc wasn't going to help my health. Front desk was very friendly, took my bags to my room. It was ok, but I was on a lower floor, only saw the top of a roof and other section of hotel. The rooms are modern, but very drab for a hotel that boasts of its art collection. It felt claustrophobic. No coffee maker which meant the next morning I had to order room service. I sent a message to the front desk that I was disappointed in the room and they graciously told me they could move me. When I returned after my appt they had moved my bag to a much better room in a different part of the hotel that was much more appealing and not hotel Siberia. A larger room with a great view, but, no coffee maker. All in all a decent stay, but nearly $1000 for two nights for half the hotel due to renovation, expensive parking not connected to the hotel, expensive room service, and downtown noise at night. I think the hotel could have done something to create good will due to the construction situation like deducted the parking, or at least one night. The Joule is supposedly known for its interiors etc.,I just saw drop cloths.

What has impressed me most has been the people. The level of care shown to my mother has gone far beyond what I expected. Every member of the staff has treated her with genuine warmth, dignity, and attentiveness. They found thoughtful ways to make her birthday special, from the unique gifts waiting in her room to the sincere way they greeted her each time she came and went. What truly stood out was their anticipation. Whether she needed recommendations, transportation, or assistance with her plans to explore downtown museums, the staff seemed to be thinking ahead before she even had to ask. That level of hospitality is rare and is what transforms a great hotel stay into a memorable experience. The facilities themselves continue to be outstanding. Even with construction taking place in the lobby, the experience never felt diminished. The elegance, service, and attention to detail that define The Joule remained evident throughout our stay. I also want to recognize Colette, whose thoughtful communication before my mother’s arrival set the tone for the entire visit. She took the time to learn my mother’s preferences in advance, and it was clear that the entire team acted on those details. That kind of personalized hospitality leaves a lasting impression. Watching my mother—a woman in her seventies—experience this level of luxury, care, and respect was something I won’t soon forget. The staff didn’t simply prov

Luxury. Nice clean room. Especially like the house car service and the valet team. The chocolate treat from the turnover service is very nice as well.

The staff were extremely friendly and professional. The property was beautiful and the services provided were exceptional. There were a couple minor inconveniences, but the hotel staff apologized for them and went above and beyond to make up for it. I could not be more satisfied with the experience. Nothing.

Excellent location, great vibe Mini bar facilities extremely expensive with poor quality wine. A small bottle of "Champagne" which was actually Prosecco was $40. In-room tea and coffee facilities in a hotel of this calibre are a must and there were none. Also we had no complementary bottled water on our first night - although we did have some on our second night. Bottled water should be generous and complementary. Bottled still water in the mini bar was $10. This was our only irritation however - everything else was great!

Great hospitality. I booked a King room and had a recurring issue with the toilet, which would not flush or work. After an attempted maintenance fix, I called the front desk, and they were able to switch me to a Joule Suite. The toilet could've made my weekend a disaster, but the front desk handled it like pros. Also, little things, like calling me by my last name, made me feel like a welcomed guest at the hotel. The Spa was amazing. I had a great massage, enjoyed a wonderful time in the pool, and enjoyed the amenities. The food at the restaurant hotel, CBD Provisions, was underwhelming, but the bartender took care of me. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would stay again!

Our room was a little small but comfortable with luxury touches. Robes, slippers, rain shower. We loved the fitness center but the pièce de résistance was the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed every day. Mahmoud the bartender was superb! Kudos to the Joule, it is a Jewel

This is a beautiful hotel in an excellent location!! The attached restaurants are very good, the staff is very friendly. However, the room configuration is extremely strange with the bathroom essentially subdivided by a hallway. There’s no privacy, including a beveled door for the toilet lol not sure who thought that was a good idea?! Also, the pool is incredibly small. Perhaps I should’ve known that, but from the pictures, it looks dramatically different.
- 5/5
What’s an amazing place to stay very well located people are super nice. The VIP car service was amazing. All the staff was super amazing. Made to stay a great great time. I will definitely be staying there again in the near future.
- 5/5
This is a true low to mid tier 5 star- not in a bad way whatsoever, but in the sense that you’re getting one of the lower cost five stars that definitely acts like one. The staff is always very helpful. The valet is very convenient. The location is central to downtown. The rooftop pool is amazing and always very clean. The rooms are always top-notch. They’re very quiet and extremely comfortable with all the amenities you’d expect. The lobby bar is very accessible. The staff is great and the drinks were actually really good. Unless I need to be somewhere outside of Dallas, I only stay here the best thing for your buck in the city

We celebrated my husband’s birthday at the Joule. The room was nice and spacious. It was located near many restaurants that were in walking distance. We had an issue with parking. We had to circle the hotel several times for valet parking. We were considering parking in one of the parking garages but we didn’t know which garage was for the hotel. Would we stay here again? Yes but we would park in one of the parking garages instead.

Unfortunately, the AC failed in my room and the issue was not resolved during my stay. That was an unexpected miss, especially given the standard the property otherwise upholds. Had this not occurred, this would have been a flawless five-star stay across the board.

Will definitely stay at The Joule again.

Edgar was helpful with my luggage. I enter the room and find a card and a fruit plate addressed to someone else. Didnt have the bottle of wine that was suppose to be delivered. Didnt receive the xtra pillows or blankets as requested. Hotels.com shows on wording an ipad comes with the room. It doesn't though. Description of room has a city view. The city view was from the bathroom. From the room all we saw was a party room with a lot of people drinking and being loud. Pay per view movies not a choice like the description says on hotels.com. Indoor pool, steam room and sauna available to guest for only $100/daily. Yep-not included in my stay. Shower was large. Stepped on the drain and it jiggled a bit. Lifted it up and found heavy mold underneath. For all the mistakes, i was given a complimentary hand cream to help make up for it all. Two elevator doors but only one was in service. I spent over a grand for 3 nights. A huge disappointment over all. The staff was nice and tried to be helpful but sending a tube of handcream was insulting

Everything is great. Cant wait to come back this summer for the pool.

I really loved the staff here, they were all really sweet and had amazing personalities. The room was really nice as well, I did notice some things but I believe they were natural mishaps and shouldnt be taken into account of the hotel itself. I celebrated my boyfriend's 22nd birthday in the Loft Suite, and it was just such a nice room with two bathrooms with showers. We called ahead and they said the room could hold 6 people so we also had some friends over and overall had a really nice day and night. I had a hard time sleeping but everything else was nice. Again, really amazing staff who were communicative throughout the entire process and understanding of the little things I noticed. My boyfriend had a really nice birthday experience thanks to the Joule!

The people made the difference and memorable. Mike the restaurant manager went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. We will go back for the warm customer experience.

I found inconsistent room service- hair conditioner was empty the whole stay. Soap not replaced. Some nights turn down performed, other nights not. Ridiculous pricing of in room supplies. A little more attention to detain and consistency would elevate an overall excellent experience.

I stayed @ the Joule for my birthday and fell in love with the spa 😍

This is absolutely a 5 star hotel in a vibrant area of downtown Dallas. Walking distance from many attractions and restaurants. The hotel is decorated in style. Excellent restaurant on property. Rooms are modern with exceptional bedding. Dallas is a great city. We will be back!

Beautiful room, close to great shopping, neighborhood has yet to recover from COVID. Downtown is more sketchy than I had hoped.
- 5/5
My stay was great. I would definitely stay there again. They treated me like royalty.
- 5/5
It was a great hotel, there was a weekend wedding which we weren't part of so the attention, rightfully was elsewhere, and some of the amenities, cellar bar, spa weren't available. We enjoyed our stay but didn't eat at the restaurant, looked great though.
- 3/5
The room didn’t have any bar soap to wash my hands. I ordered in room dining and they didn’t clean the table after they removed the tray or even after I requested the room to be cleaned. I was surprised to come back to a dirty room when I arrived back from being gone all days-returned at 4pm.
