Reviews
Guests generally appreciate the spacious rooms, friendly staff, and good location of the hotel. However, there are consistent complaints about cleanliness, maintenance issues, and noise levels.

Decent breakfast in the a.m. staff are cool & the rooms are clean might need to clean out the air ducts other than that it’s good

I sneezed during my entire stay so the room/sheets were dusty. Housekeeping never entered the room during the 5 day stay. The kitchenette and bathroom sinks were clogged and not draining (maintenance resolved on day 3). The dishwasher didn't work and held dirty water in the bottom and was never fixed. On top of all that, I was supposed to be charged $100 for incidentals, but was charged $100 plus an additional $80 with no explanation as to why. Still waiting to see if I'll be refunded the $180 since nothing was charged to my room. Terrible.

Very helpful front desk, courteous, professional

The check-in was a bit delayed due to room availability unlike past stays at this property which it was always ontime. We eventually were assigned a hearing accessible room ( room 341) to keep us waiting further. One concern was there was a constant odor of what smelled like the exhaust from one of the local restaurants in the room, primarily the bathroom, which might have been getting drawn from outside into the hvac. Also, the area just outside our room’s door smelled like cigar smoke(we are non-smokers). On the positive side, the property is location in an office area of Addison and felt very safe. It is close to many restaurants and entertainment venues like the Addison Improv. Overall, we would stay here again as we have had previous stays that were very good and view this most recent stay slight drop in experience quality.
- 5/5
Extremely pleasant stay, the rooms are well maintained
- 3/5
The room we selected was very roomy for 3 people. The tub looked a little unclean and there was a toilet leak that the cleaning people should have reported and had fixed before booking the room.

Todo bien

Great home like feeling. It’s located in a really nice area with everything you need within walking distance. Love it. I come every weekend unless it’s booked and I have to stay else where.

Good stay. The basketball court was very nice

Very good

The staff was excellent; friendly, helpful and kind. We also loved that we were able to find a 2-bedroom with 2 bathrooms because our grandchild was staying with us. The property was clean but a bit run down because of its age.
- 5/5
Everything was great. Breakfast was very good and RL made sure the breakfast was excellent he went over and beyond.

Location The swimming pool could benefit from some additional maintenance, and the rooms could use some updating, as they feel a bit dated. Considering the overall condition and age of the building and rooms, we felt the price was a little high. Some renovations and improvements would definitely make the experience feel more in line with the price.
- 4/5
Spacious and comfortable room. Decent breakfast. The front door lock was a bit wonky (kept locking while door was opened, but we were able to figure out how to work with it). It's an old property and the charge for parking, while low compared to other places, seemed a bit of a nickel and dime you tactic, but I guess that's how they all do it now. Near several places to eat and explore. Saw some people hanging out in the parking lot, which seemed a bit sketchy, but we had no issues with anyone. Overall I would stay here again for the comfort and space at a great price. But it isn't anything fancy. Great value for the price.

We appreciated the refrigerator and kitchenette in the large room with separate bedroom and bath. Very spacious rooms. Our first room had a stopped up sink and they kindly moved us to a better room. Breakfast was good.
- 2/5
Our room was quiet. Parking was adequate and close to the entry door. The shower had good pressure and temp control. The coffee in the breakfast area was good with ample half and half and various sweeteners. The area/neighborhood felt safe and was very close to many restaurants. We booked this property because we needed two separate bedrooms/bathrooms because our grandson was with us. The property was very run down and not well maintained. The air vent in one of the bedrooms was aimed towards the corner and directly into the drapery. It blocked the airflow and the drapery acted as an air filter and was covered in filth. Maintenance came and cleaned the dust and debri from the vent but it didn't help with airflow and the curtain was never changed or cleaned. It was pretty disgusting and the room didn't cool adequately. There was an overflowing trash bin right outside of our building entry door which smelled awful! It was never cleaned while we were there, emptied but not cleaned. The foul odor hung there the entire time. One evening we arrived around 9pm and went to the front desk "market" to get some bottled water. They were completely gone. The front desk attendant suggested we go to the 7-Eleven which was two blocks away. We went there to get water and were greeted by beggars at the front door. I cannot believe this is a "Marriott" property. It definitely lowers the brand quality.

Spacious clean rooms. Quite environment. Good breakfast. Did not have a working room phone the whole time I was there although I notified management. I had to walk to reception or call with my mobile phone.

Travelled for the World Cup, a couple of days after my mother's funeral so was a little down in the dumps. My stay here is just what the Doctor ordered (as they say). My family and I had a terrific stay, breakfast was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. No complaints whatsoever!

Great area very nice The only issue I had and I didn’t complain, was the refrigerator was making a lot of noise. Sounds like the bearings on the fan were going out.

Proximity to where we were going (walking distance to Addison Circle). I wish I did not have to say this, but doing so may save someone from a bad experience. So, it had a very different feel culturally speaking. I am used to Marriotts providing a level of service that is second to none. This time was very different. The staff was overwhelming of a particular culture and it came across from the first response I received to my joyful greeting (e.g. an unenthusiastic response with no eye contact). Then the response to my compliment about her FIFA shirt was even worse (e.g. I'm just wearing it because it was a way for me to not have to wear my uniform). No wifi password offered. No directions to the room provided. No mention of breakfast hours. Just an entitlement minded person expecting her employer and the patrons to give God thanks that she was even there. Based on the manager's convo with her it became apparent they are birds of the same feather. The room smelled of mold but based on how the previous two interactions (that I haven't even mentioned yet) had gone I decided to not waste any more time trying to receive anything that required even two or three keystrokes or a click of a mouse to resolve. Individuals that are allergic to work never seem to provide a pleasant experience. Every time I am forced to interact with such individuals, and they are everywhere thanks wokeness, it's like trying to enjoy your BBQ in a room full of flies. Again, sorry to have had to say it. And to that culture I just suggest "Do better" and I will see you in a different light.

Unfortunately, when we checked into are room the bedroom carpet was soaking wet. Considering that it was Friday evening the maintenance man could not be found. So, I place dry towels to absorb the water, Also, every time the AC unit would turn on it made a Loud noise. Like someone was kicking the door. So, in the middle of the night that was not very pleasant.

The couch in my room was really worn and apartment needed updates.

- 1/5
I wasn't able to stay there unfortunately. Wasted $125 for nothing. Made me sick
- 2/5
Nice for the most part, but my room had a sound from inside the wall that gave me a headache. It was relentless. I should have asked for a different room.
- 5/5
Exactly what we needed for a quick trip. Pool and hot tub were fun and everyone was so friendly!
- 5/5
Ritchie, front desk was very informative and helpful, and welcoming!
- 5/5
All the essentials and a great breakfast
- 4/5
Overall, this is an older property with a few rough spots due to age, but the staff was excellent, the breakfast was very good, it is well-located and I’d stay here again.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
It was as a very comfortable stay. Very quiet. The staff was very polite and kind. The only complaint if any, we didn’t know where to put our trash so we had to set outside. It sat for a few hours for pick up. Very minor issue.
- 5/5
Breakfast was excellent
- 5/5
I have stayed here twice now and enjoyed it, clean cheap hotel nothing fancy but good when you need a place to lay your head at night and close to everything Addison has to offer.
- 5/5
Staff in charge of the breakfast Buffett were fantastic. Made sure everything was well stocked and very pleasant.
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful
- 5/5
A great place to stay for the weekend or just to relax.
- 5/5
I enjoyed the breakfast 😋 unfortunately I didn't have an opportunity to try out the hot tub but I'm sure there will be a next time 🙂
- 5/5
My only complaint, besides the property appearance being dated, was the items left in the refrigerator from the previous guest.
- 3/5
Staff indifferent, cleaning not thorough, missed to place hand soap for 5 days
- 5/5
Breakfast ran short of food one day.
- 3/5
Parking fee not good hot water is an issue.
- 4/5
The area is a great location. The only complaint is the fee for parking.
- 3/5
Stay was okay, the facility is in need of an upgrade
- 2/5
The hot tub was hot but jets didn’t work. There was what appeared to be mold in the ac vents and dust blown on the ceiling above where the vent blew. The ac is very loud. Lots of highway noise. The bathtub wasn’t very clean. The hotel had a run down feel to it. The way the buildings are separated/laid out, we didn’t feel very safe in the hallways at night.
- 5/5
Clean room, nice staff, and a hot tub is always a plus.
- 5/5
Clean room great staff nice hot tub and pool
- 3/5
Rooms are dated , leaking A/C unit.
- 5/5
Nothing
- 5/5
Clean room, great breakfast
- 3/5
Parking is $13 per day which doesn't seem reasonable given that there are plenty of space and the area is not like downtown where it is tight for parking, not is it like gated or secure...
- 3/5
Condition of the room was poor. Many things were broken. Roof leaked and was previously patched. Air conditioning was extremely loud. Vents were very dirty. The bed and pillows were comfortable.
- 3/5
Staff were friendly and curtious. But the first room we went to had stopped up plumbing. Second room we stayed in we had to unplug yhe refrigerator because the ice make wouldn't shut up. And the bolt lock kept freezing up and we had issues locking and unlocking.
- 3/5
Old property needs to be updated. Basic amenities are lacking. Staff is not very friendly. Breakfast options are limited and hot items were not replenished promptly. Had to wait for food at breakfast when we were in a rush to get to a game.
- 4/5
Clean room. Comfy bed. Quiet.
- 4/5
Overall the hotel and room were very clean. Room just needs to be updated. The staff was amazing!

Room was dusty and dirty. It felt like a cave.

Breakfast menu was good and enough variety. Shatese was busy keeping the food fresh. RL went above and beyond the call of duty for us.
- 4/5
There were a few homeless around and one blocked my path while I was trying to get inside my building. While there are many views on how to help them it does raise safety concerns.
- 5/5
Very clean. Good staff for support.
- 5/5
Nice room, good staff, very clean.
- 5/5
Clean room amenities good staff convenient location to a lot of things.
- 4/5
It was okay. At check in front door lady was not very helpful.
- 5/5
Great friendly staff! Marc was a 10/10 for service And the fresh cookies were great!
- 4/5
Not very helpful at check in. Seems the person was either sick or did not want to help.
- 5/5
Starting with check-in, Richie (?) couldn’t have been more pleasant, efficient, and professional. The same goes for the team serving breakfast. They were SO nice and accommodating. The room was large and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen. Housekeeping was every other day and she was on top of her game. Highly recommend.
- 4/5
The service I will give 3 stars. The beds, 2 stars. The hotel need to add king size beds in some rooms.
- 3/5
Room was clean and quiet. There was no heat. Had an A/C unit in main room window. My wife was cold all noggt. We stay here many times a year. Will continue to. Staff is always great. We know things can happen
- 4/5
It was clean, a good location. The only downside...no king-size beds...it's time to make some changes.
- 5/5
Suite was spotless. Great check in and check out experience! Nearby restaurants and bars. The only hotel I’m booking when visiting Addison to enjoy the nightlife.

We liked the property. They charged $140 for incidentals(?). Internet was terrible.
- 5/5
Truly enjoyed!
- 3/5
One of the most average hotels I’ve seen lately. Extremely thin/noisy floors, wow. Hollow doors and could hear absolutely everything in the hallway. Rooms were depressingly scant, cold decor, if any. The grounds were pretty good, little sport court & nice hang out spots, walking distance to decent restaurants. But,.. eh. Shop around do more solid walls & floors.
- 2/5
The staff were kind and helpful, but the facilities need some upkeep. Our first room smelled of smoke, the second had AC issues, and the third was fine except for a broken fridge. We appreciated the staff’s efforts, though the maintenance problems affected our stay.
- 5/5
The breakfast was good and plentiful All the staff was real friendly
- 4/5
Also when we got to our room, to our surprise, we had been given a handicap room. We did not reserve or want a handicap room. We were not told our room was a handicap room until we got to the room. Very disappointed we weren’t asked about if that was OK or not when we were checking in.
- 3/5
Was okay, clean definitely in need of some remodeling and TLC- other than that spacious room with all you need, when you’re away from home.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Especially the young man who works the kitchen for breakfast. He went over and above expectations during our stay. The pool and hot tub are cleaned daily. My only less than positive feedback is that some of the hardware fixtures in the rooms could stand an update (i.e. faucets, toilet paper holder, etc). The bed was more comfortable than most hotels, and we really enjoyed the two-bedroom suite for a family experience.
- 5/5
Convient. Clean. Great value
- 4/5
It was nice and the staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Every staff member we interacted with was super pleasant and helpful. They always went out of their way to say hi, which might be a southern thing, but it was such a welcome change from home! The front desk clerk that checked us in was confident, knowledgeable, and gave clear directions and information on the property without us having to ask. The location of this hotel was perfect for us & close to the venues we were attending.
- 5/5
Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were in good order and clean. I enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
Good value, great location.

They don’t care if you’re disabled and do little to make sure you’re in correct accommodations even if you come in with a wheelchair and/or cane.
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
Very clean
- 4/5
The only issues I had was that the tub in the cleaning crew could do a better job in cleaning the tubs in the rooms. Also, this establishment should definitely look into putting up AUTOMATIC AIR FRESHENERS up and down the hallways on every floor. The hallways did have a bad odor at times. Air fresheners would solve that problem. Other than that, this hotel is ok with me
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Clean , good location to local venues
- 5/5
Great property. Would happily stay here again
- 3/5
Checked in at 6:30 pm Saturday, fine. Saw obvious hair on appeared used sheets. At approximately 11:30 pm returned to room and bedroom tv did not work “no satellite”. Called front desk and was told a repair was scheduled for Monday. If that’s the case I should’ve been given notice with option to different room at check-in & during late nite call to the least. Heard ppl arguing outside of my room #126 bldg B after midnite. Pillows small, hard & flat so no rest for one nite stay. Couldn’t even angle for comfort sleep. Hopefully no general political response is given.
- 5/5
The area was very convenient, good price for the value.
- 5/5
Room was clean and orderly.
- 5/5
The lady who checked me in was amazing!
- 5/5
Front desk ladies were so helpful. Loved my stay here-however lol- if I’m being snobby, they need to update their batteries in their TV remotes. But that’s my only complaint. I would 10000% stay here again..
