Reviews
The Lorenzo Hotel is a unique and artsy hotel with a vibrant atmosphere, appreciated by many guests. However, some guests have expressed concerns about the noise from the nearby highway and issues with hot water in the showers.

Construction going on next door at midnight and unless the hotel is 100% booked they shouldn’t be putting people in rooms literally overlooking the loud construction. Definitely wasn’t a great nights sleep for any of us in my party.
- 5/5
Room was nice and the decor was fun. The only thing was the taco place on the property wasn’t open the morning we left
- 4/5
Low shower pressure. Pool should stay open later.
- 5/5
With live DJs outside bar, and the friendliest people who all come let loose and have fun
- 5/5
it was a great stay and if say any more it will ruin the surprise of the place for when you initially go in
- 5/5
I'd stay there again!
- 4/5
The tacos from the taco truck you should be ashamed of. Lol they’re bad. The Akard street bridge was also a glaring issue. Other than that the hotel, pool party, and over all stay were pretty awesome.
- 5/5
Excellent stay! Staff were friendly and helpful . Onsite restaurant was great. Pool was well maintained and relaxing . Definitely would stay again .
- 5/5
This was my first time staying at your property and I was really impressed. Staff was nice. Hotel was clean. Location was central to everything I was doing. I recommend The Lorenzo.

Parking is $20 overnight, nightly Pool was clean, key card access only Restaurant and breakfast taco spot on site. I did not like the taco spot, but restaurant was nice. I did spill a drink from the bar trying to get into the pool and the staff literally just stared at me and said “ aaawah mija” no help was provided, did clean my mess up, though! Still had one more door to get through lol and spilled the second drink 😩 that’s okay, after that I sent my sister and mother to get the drinks. My 4 year old was very afraid of the paintings/pictures. Didn’t want to leave the room without being carried. I thought the paintings were nice, a lil freeee’kay but nice. Hotel is near a major freeway but a lot of construction at this moment. Thanks, have a great stay !
- 3/5
They also charged 20+ dollars for parking which I think is a bit absurd since I am staying at the hotel, several of the amenities were costly as well. Just seemed like I was being nickel and dimed the whole time I was there. I stayed at the Lorenzo years ago and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately probably won't be coming back.

Loved it! Beautiful hotel! Deposit is $80 per night and parking is $20 a night so that’s something to consider before booking
- 5/5
Love it!!

The property was really nice. Very artistry, nice for taking picture.. the staff was nice.. the room was spacious, clean and very nice chair and mirror. The art work all throughout was amazing. I didn’t get a chance to get eat at the hotel but maybe next time.
- 5/5
The entire experience was amazing
- 3/5
to have gone downhill a bit since my last stay in 2023. There was a sewage smell on our floor/room and each night, the AC would only go as low as 74-71 degrees during the day/night and one night there was a large dead COCKROACH(not waterbug) in the middle of the hotel lobby/halls. Not sure I would book or recommend again.
- 5/5
Will stay again
- 5/5
One of the best n nicest hotels in downtown
- 5/5
No issues with hotel. I would stay here again.
- 3/5
Clean hotel area was loud and pool parties are open to the public are absolute chaos!! Pool was dirty to begin with
- 4/5
Nice hotel, construction was a little loud but not horrible
- 5/5
This hotel was beautiful inside and the staff were all amazing! My only critique would be the pool party saturday night as it was insanely wild and loud. There is also a to of construction in the area making it hard to navigate to/from the hotel. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel!
- 5/5
Love the artwork around the property, access to freeway, and local eateries around.
- 2/5
Pool was closed for a private party from 12-8 on Saturday. We were given advanced notice and that was fine, but when we went to finally use the pool after, it was not usable. The water was murky, and the pool area smelled like sewage. (There was construction outside, but the smell couldn’t have been from this because only the pool area had the sewage stench).
- 5/5
Has a very nice stay at the hotel it was so close to where I had to be for a couple days and food was great and stafff was amazing
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
great hotel! the rooms and decorations around the hotel are very nice. 10/10

I called and was told there was shuttle service to the airport and there was none. I was told by the front desk to Down load the Uber app get a ride which none was available at 5am in the morning! Then had to pay Gigi text service for a membership to get a ride to the airport otherwise I was not going. It was the worse experience I ever had. I will not recommend this hotel unless you have e a vehicle!!!
- 4/5
Style, close to everything. Parking.
- 4.5/5
The design elements and pool party The cost of food was a little higher than expected . The door of the room were heavy metal sometimes hard to open
- 5/5
Loved the decor! From the front desk/entrance into hotel to the room. So fun and creative! Clean room, staff were welcoming and helpful. Really enjoyed my stay and would again!

Beautiful property
- 3/5
Unique decor, but in a questionable location. The area surrounding the hotel dis not feel very safe. Generally the hotel felt a little run down. I had issues with the outlets in the room as only one outlet worked. When I went to shower, the water was so hot I almost couldn’t stand to be in it and would not cool down. It was a good price but I would not stay here again.

- 3.5/5
Decor was nice, bedding comfy Lightning was horrible in room, wall mirrors were not functional, like 3 rounds mirrors you would find at fun house, distorts image. And room was noisy, facing freeway when requested a quiet room.
- 5/5
Everything was nice until check out when I realized that someone took my front license plate on Hotel property with a security guard.
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was great
- 5/5
The hotel is always clean and the entire staff is always so welcoming, helpful, courteous and they always have a smile on their face! The history behind the hotel and all of the art at the hotel makes the stay even more appealing! If you have never stayed at the Lorenzo you are missing out! 10 out of 10!!!

The hotel decorations were amazing! Loved the vibe.

The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the pool. I wish someone told me that the city of Dallas was under heavy construction. There were many road closures around the area that resulted in frustrations while traveling through the city. There were zero restaurants to walk around the hotel. The hotel charged for parking and breakfast. I don't think that's fair considering how much I paid each night for the room. The lack of a microwave was discouraging. Whatever food I brought with me, I couldn't heat up. The shower pressure was low and the fact that there was no second glass to the shower, had me scratching my head. I know the hotel was artsy and creative with their style, but when staying at a hotel none of that matters. Guests want the furnishings of a microwave, free parking, breakfast, a wide variety of channels on the television set to search through, and lots of lighting in the room. The lighting was very sparse. Next time I'm in Dallas, I'll skip Lorenzo.

Artwork, room decor, staff, location, view!
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
The hotel is well maintained, the rooms are gorgeous, only downside was that there are no microwaves.
- 3/5
2 there are many homeless people around the hotel. Hotel is isolated and you can’t walk due to safety issues. I was recommended not to walk at dark outside. 3. They have arm security on the premises. Instead of feeling safe I felt unsafe. I was told because they do pool parties security is at must. I was looking for a quiet boutique hotel And it Lorenzo hotel wasn’t for me.

Really enjoyed our stay, especially the pool party. Only thing is the ac never really cooled down the room but it was still ok. We had a corner room which was the best! Def will stay again and go to a pool party!
- 5/5
Todo es bueno
- 5/5
The property is very unique. It’s artsy. Has a unique and upbeat feel to it. Staff were amazing at check in. Corner room was absolutely breathtaking. The decor, art, and layout is truly one of a kind. The thought behind the hotel as a whole is amazing!!
- 3.5/5
The hotel rooms were clean looked very modern and pretty.Very unique decor The noise from party and pool not accessible to my family due to the party from 3pm-9pm.I just wish it would have been mentioned on the booking site.I’m very reasonable with that due to not being from the area so I didn’t know but the party lasted over 9pm so the noise from the party very loud.
- 5/5
The location and art in the hotel It took me 5 hours to check in due to the system being down
- 4/5
It was a cool place
- 2/5
The negative: I booked this hotel to take advantage of the swimming pool during the very hot season. I was informed by the hotel that they will host pool parties in Saturday and Sundays but it was not mentioned that many people from outside the hotel will buy tickets and the hotel guests will not have place anymore. The party lasted until 10 pm (it ended officially at 9, however in really it was only from 10-11 pm that the hotel guest had place to use the swimming pool). Moreover the area around the hotel felt unsafe, many homeless people were sitting on the sidewalk. The pictures were somehow misleading, the swimming pool appeared much larger.
- 0.5/5
Nothing they systems was down I couldn’t even check in
- 2/5
I paid for a corner room with a view and I was up charge for this room. They put me on the second floor, and my view was horrible. All I saw was construction material and dirt also a mattress from my window that had the covers still on it behind the pool so I paid for a nice view, but I did not get that and they still have yet to adjust my payment and they keep ignoring my calls. Needless to say I will not be staying there again and I try not to do this. You trying to give them time to contact me but it’s been a week now and still no response.. I feel they are ignoring me and also when I booked the room I booked because it said free parking and they charge me for parking so I had to call to get my money refunded. The front desk staff were very helpful, but I don’t like that. They are ignoring my request for an adjustment for the three nights that I stayed. I paid for an upgraded room with a view, and I did not get that.
- 5/5
Beautiful boutique hotel with excellent staff. Easy paid parking under the hotel was nice. Loved all the artwork!
- 5/5
I loved the location and staff! Rooms were clean too N/A
- 2/5
It would have been nicer if stuff would check the rooms a lot more often. I was constantly going without water and had to buy my own or use the faucet because I was that desperate
- 5/5
Great hotel. We loved the funky artsy feel.

- 5/5
Nice place. Parking for late arrivals is a walk away.
- 4/5
Helpful staff. Love the hotel.
- 4/5
We had a blast. Arsty and fun atmosphere! 🏨🖼️
- 5/5
Very nice place to stay. Great food, and staff were helpful.
- 1/5
The bigger problem: I mistakenly booked the wrong date, and at check-in the front desk told me to simply book a new reservation for that night and promised they would cancel the erroneous one without charge. I did exactly that and stayed. As of two weeks of my reservation, after many emails, phone calls, and even involving Expedia, the promised cancellation has still not been processed. The hotel itself is OK — cool concept and decor — but it lacks care and attention to detail, both in the property and in how guests are treated. I wouldn't return until they show they can honor what their own staff promises.
- 5/5
Very swank and fun atmosphere! The decor is wild! Great for content creators. The beds were super comfy. The location was also good as we were in town for a concert at American Airlines Center and it was just 12 min away. There was heavy construction to the roads in front of hotel but nothing so terrible. I will definitely be back.
- 3/5
Overall a nice property but there is construction going on all around it and a homeless gathering place right around the corner. There was a security person directing the traffic at night for the weekend for not sure how long he stays there.
- 4/5
Nice hotel. No complaints
- 4/5
Everything was great other than the overnight construction. Pool was great and the breakfast was really good.
- 5/5
If you are artsy and love whimsical moments, please enjoy this property. Loved all the artwork, the restaurant and restaurant staff was awesome. The pool and the pool parties were thr cherry on top. Definitely coming back!!!
- 5/5
The staff there was friendly and helpful I like the character of the hotel and the restaurant in the hotel was very good would book there again
- 3/5
Staff were mediocre. Hostess at the restaurant seemed a bit rude. I didn’t care much for the aesthetic. Would have been nice to have a microwave in the room or close by to use. Room was clean. I probably won’t book again but it was an interesting experience.
- 5/5
Loved the pool party!
- 5/5
Hotel Lorenzo was a great stay! We loved all of the little pieces of art around the hotel and in our room it was a nice chnage compared to most bland hotels. Our TV remote did not have batteries and someone was at the door in less than ten mintues at 11:30 at night to assist. Hotel Lorenzo is also in a great location.
- 5/5
Fun and clean!
- 2/5
Room was clean, bed was comfy, but the pool was packed! When I called to book this hotel I was asked about the pool party & was told that only hotel guest would be allowed to attend the pool party (no outside guest). That was not true they were letting non hotel guest in for 30.00 a person. This was very disappointing due to my family not being able to enjoy the pool due to sooooo many people….
- 5/5
Clean room comfortable bed fireworks over all wonderful experience
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
Great weekend "staycation" in the center of the city. Walking / Uber distance from all of the holiday activities.
- 2/5
Perfect location close to everything lots of construction in area travelled with 3 kids so we could be close to Dallas Zoo would not recommend for kids this should be adults only hotel as it's more setup for that
- 4/5
Clean , nice pool
- 3/5
Stayed in room 708 and it was so noisy from the traffic that I couldn’t sleep. Also apparently the pool is open to public on the weekends meaning there was no parking and a lot more ppl there. So could not enjoy the pool area
- 5/5
Great
- 2/5
The room was very nice and the bathroom were very small and you can hear the wind blowing in from the windows. It was very strong and I couldn’t focus on relaxing. I had to turn the tv on to not hear it .
- 5/5
This was a very cool experience and place to stay!
- 5/5
All the artwork throughout the building, even in the little hidden corners made for a beautiful photoS
- 5/5
Great I will be back, the restaurant on site is GREAT
- 5/5
Comfortable room. Quirky and admirable decor. Plentiful breakfast.
- 3/5
It was ok. Area a bit sketchy

Such a fun and clean suite! The hotel had a pool party one day and the vibe was fun. I would stay there again for sure.
- 5/5
Been a guest several times and it’s consistently a great stay. Eclectic rooms that aren’t over done… just a great stay!
- 5/5
This was such a fun hotel. Great find for a short stay! Loved the decor
- 5/5
Clean room.
- 5/5
Hotel was adorable and very kept up with. The only complaint is the highway noise. But that’s my own fault for not thinking about being next to a hotel.
- 5/5
Great property in proximity to everywhere we wanted to go during our stay. There is quite a bit of construction happening in the vicinity to be aware of.
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
Room was comfy and very nicely designed! Staff was super friendly and breakfast was superb would definitely recommend this hotel and will look forward to staying here in the future again!
- 5/5
The room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Art everywhere. Restaurant inside the hotel was very good!
- 5/5
Security was amazing! Room and property was so fun!
- 5/5
We loved this hotel for a weekend getaway staycation. The room was cozy, bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the overall vibe of the hotel was very cool & the pool had a great deep house dj playing on Saturday when we arrived. My only complaint was the elevators were super slow and seemed like they could use an upgrade soon. Would recommend and stay again though when in DFW.
- 5/5
Location is a little sketchy but other wise a great stay!
- 5/5
The staff was very nice and lovely. Hotel was clean and pool was clean and amazing!
- 5/5
With prompt service
- 3/5
At the time of my trip, there was a lot of construction right outside the hotel. Staff is super friendly and super helpful. Room was very clean. Breakfast was complimentary and delicious. However, the room I stayed in had the headboard on the wall closest to the highway. I figured it wouldn’t be that bad but I barely slept due to highway noise. The hotel itself is great, the location is not the best.
- 3/5
Cons: Taco Enzo is closed yet still advertised. We were told it might open again in a couple of months. "Pool party" on Saturday is a joke. DJ showed up 2.5 hours late. Advertised as "adults only pool party" but kids were in the pool all day. If you are looking for a party look elsewhere. $20 a day for self park.
- 5/5
Perfect ! Will be coming back !
- 5/5
Perfect stay! Rooms are so retro and abstract I loved every detail!
