Hyatt Regency Dallas

We needed to make to set air conditioning at a lower temperature,but not able too. My daughter is pregnant ap she was not able to sleep well due to room temperature too hot and not comfortable for her .

Self Parking 30 dollars per day for a parking lot across the street. Have to walk across the street with luggage in 110 heat. Crazy to charge this amount when there’s ample parking and especially for customers….

Had a great stay. Bed was soft, room was cold, pool a little small but overall great!

Location Room was clean Awful sewer smell in lobby. Told front desk because it was putrid and she said she can’t smell it. She likely couldn’t smell it because she was there in the lobby . I had come into the hotel and the odor was awful. Coincidentally- carpet was being pulled up in lobby - that may have had something to do with the smell. The part that upset me was she made it seem like I was wrong or lying. Terrible customer service. Also - at store in lobby/ 2 bugs in my coffee - likely from the creamer. I told employee and she said yes it’s probably from the creamer. Like she knew that is a problem. She asked if I had my cup as if she was going to reuse it! I absolutely did not have my cup with the bugs in it. Ridiculous. Should have given me a coffee on the house. I asked her to use the creamer directly from the fridge.

It was our 45th wedding anniversary. We had stayed there on our wedding night 45 years earlier. And even though I had told the hotel that in advance, there was nothing done by the staff to make it special for us.

Our stay was phenomenal

Beautiful hotel and even better price! We enjoyed our stay but didn’t get to use many amenities. We did go to the bar after our concert and had a snack and drinks. Wonderful stay!

Other than that 1 issue, everything else was great. One tip: unless street noise doesn't bother your sleep, ask for a room that does not face the highways as they can be quite noisy at night.

Fast check in. The hotel needs a renovation ASAP

I have stayed here before. i love the hotel, but I try to do the budget thing to save a few bucks on a routine stay and use a mid range hotel on a normal stay, but this was a good friend of mine's birthday. pleasure, not business this time. however....I was very impressed on my last stay. (stay on board with me before you get off from reading the rest of the review). I arrived a little late and didn't really have time to settle before meeting my friend. I needed to at least take a quick rinse before meeting up. I tried to get the shower going but it was an absolute train wreck. I was not able to find a warm water position and the pressure was nothing more than a summer breeze. I managed to clean up but this was not gonna work for me. on my way to meet up with my friend, I stopped at the front desk to bring the water pressure issue up to their attn. yay for the front desk ! they immediately jumped on the situation. immediate is an understatement because on the way back up to my room, STEVEN, who is a hotel engineer, was already on the elevator with me to resolved the issue. he looked at the shower and said that that it wasn't a quick fix. he used the my room phone to call to the desk to have me put in a different room. (I will consider it an upgrade because I got a view of downtown). Steven (sp) how helpful, funny, and courteous in helping me into my new room. it was almost a non issue. I mention this because this is the textbook definition of "service".

The location was great. Very easy to access. Because of a flight delay check-in late around 2 am. The room was dirty. There were no bath towels in the room, and when I called the front desk to get towels, no one picked up. I was expecting a bit more of a standard service hotel room for the rate.

The self parking included having to cross a dangerous road on a curve with no cross walk or light. He upgraded to valet parking to prevent crossing that road. Bathroom was clean but could have used an upgrade. Staff was nice, bar area was nice. Would stay again.

Great hotel....decent location......there are many eating options on site; and the food is top notch, Do not hesitate going to the breakfast buffet. The only downfall is there are train tracks next to the hotel. I would make sure you ask for a room not on the train side. The train runs all night long; and you will hear it. Also, no free parking on site. Some of the hotel staff seemed confused as to how the parking worked. One tip, drive to valet, say you are checking in, get the room key. The key can then be programmed for the self-parking lots. A few more pluses, the elevators work fast; and the hotel had great security.

Water leak from behind bathroom vanity mirror when neighboring room on other side took shower. This left water all over my bathroom floor. Otherwise, good.

We stayed during the World Cup. The room was great and the property was excellent.

The hallway was HOT and dark. It was very uncomfortable feeling. Will not be staying again.

The hotel is located in a great place as it’s within walking distance of many attractions in the city. I really enjoyed my stay as the room had a great view and the staff were very friendly.

Beautiful property in an excellent location. As a mother and teenage daughter traveling on our own, safety was paramount. The hotel was very safe, the rooms were quiet and we never had any concerns. We opted for a city view room and highly recommend it. There was a beautiful view of the Dallas skyline. My only complaint was that breakfast was overpriced for the quality of food on offer. That being said we did have dinner in the bar and it was very good. Would absolutely stay again.

Very clean and well maintained room. The controlled curtains were something I never remember having before in an hotel room. The staff was very helpful when I needed help.

My family arrived early. Check in was at 4:00pm. We arrived at 1:30. Lily was so nice and accommodating. She got a room right then! The hotel was clean. Very nice bar as well! Thank you for wondering stay.

The only thing that needed attention was the pool itself. There was a cloudy substance in the corners. But other thank that, it was an awesome stay and the smell throughout the hotel was so good, I felt like I was in a spa the entire time. Will defiantly return.

The staff provided top-tier service from check-in to check-out, always being friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Housekeeping did an excellent job keeping the room clean and comfortable throughout my stay. The location was another major advantage. It was conveniently situated near every attraction we visited, making it easy to explore the city without spending much time traveling. The only minor drawback was a noticeable odor when entering and exiting the hotel. Fortunately, it did not affect the room or the overall quality of our stay. Overall, the Hyatt Regency Dallas is a beautiful hotel with exceptional service, outstanding views, and a convenient location. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dallas.

Great hotel for long weekend stay.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The waters stocked every morning was a godsend.

Check in was quick, friendly and easy. Despite it being a quite busy weekend the hotel still felt relaxing, calm and we didn’t have any complaints about the noise even with a room facing the bar area. The room was clean, orderly and well stocked with disposable items which we love, that ensures the items are only used by us and the we dispose of them when we leave. The cost was good for the price and we enjoyed our stay.

We ate at the casual restaurant and enjoyed our meal. If you are using the valet allow at least 30 minutes for them to bring your car to the front.

I was disappointed that the lifts did not have key card access to floors, allowing anyone to access the floors. In particular I was concerned as a solo female traveller, the hotel door safety lock was poorly maintained with only 2 of the 3 screws in place and they were not flush with the door. One good push and it would have given way. My room number was 1431 if you wanted to fix it.

Part of a longer trip. The hotel clean... Many options for dining. Crown Block a Michelin Star rated restaurant is located at the Reunion Tower with excelent views of Downtown Dallas.

The staff were incredibly nice, helpful and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with them. The hotel was clean. I used the fitness center and it was large in comparison to the ones I’ve used in other hotels.

My room was good but not great. Issues with lack of hot water and paint work needed touching up. Bed was comfortable Its a huge hotel with great connections to train service but not really a tourist hotel but more designed for conferences and functions Handy coffee shop in lobby but not much else in the area for food and drink

Everything was excellent except, when I checked out, my room key did not let me out of the parking. I was given another key specifically to let me out that did not work. I tried calling reception but never got an answer. Could not locate security to let me out, the car behind me was nice enough to let me out

My daughters and I visit Dallas often. Every May come to town and stay at the Hyatt for a concert we look forward to all year. This year, we purchased a gift item at Tiffany's for a very special person and a once in a lifetime special occasion that was occurring the next day. That gift was accidentally left in our hotel room after check out. We realized it an hour after leaving but we were already in Arlington, headed into a Ranger game. We called the hotel and the room was checked. The bag with the gift was not found. I was devastated as that we not have time to go back to Tiffany's. The gift was needed for the next day. We proceeded with filing a lost/stolen report with Elaine in the the security department. She took it upon herself to search through ALL the trash from the floor we were staying on and the bag was found! We went back Dallas after the baseball game before heading back to OKC. We retrieved the gift, which was still perfectly wrapped, with the receipt and card in the bag. I could not believe it! Elaine-- thank you! You have no idea how appreciative we are! To the management of the Hyatt: Elaine is a phenomenal employee! She is a great example of going above and beyond and because of that, we will continue being Hyatt Regency guests. I hope the management recognizes the outstanding perseverance and moral character of this staff member. Elaine-- THANK YOU!

The rooms are always clean! We LOVE staying at the Hyatt Regency!!! It is perfect for a night away from home! However, I do wish the food options stayed open a little later than what they usually do. But other than that it is a PERFECT stay!
