Reviews
The hotel is undergoing renovations, which has led to some inconveniences such as only one working elevator and a closed pool. The staff is generally friendly and the breakfast is good. However, there are issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and communication.
- Friendly staff
- Good breakfast
- Ongoing renovations causing inconveniences

Staff was amazing. Breakfast had a fairly large variety and was not bad. A little warm in the breakfast area ands lobby because of a:c issues but rooms were fine. Room was nice and was super convenient to medical city Dallas.

Great place, I think we were there the wrong week. It was too hot. Walked in the Lobby, had to wait for 10min, till someone showed up to check us in, no one at the front desk. It was hot inside, I guess AC was not working in the lobby area. Our AC unit was not cooling our room, stayed around 70 degree in our room, had the temperature down 60 degree, but didn’t cool down while we were in there, didn’t want to complain since we were only going to be there one night. Just too closed to freeway, our room is not sound proof, hear everything all night. Ok, place.
- 5/5
Experience was very good. One of two elevators down, which made moving through the hotel a bit of a pain. The staff was very friendly.

Paid for a room an hour before checking in. Wallet was stolen, so only had digital I.D. - a picture of my DL and passport. Would not allow me to check in. Would not refund room. Front desk attendant was ridiculous.
- 5/5
The front desk staff are so friendly and kind. Dorian in particular! He makes a decent margarita. :)

Loved the cleanliness and comfort. I do wish the breakfast wasn’t as limited and one elevator was not working which caused a lot of waiting and crowdedness.
- 1/5
We booked and paid a week before our check in, when we arrived at check in the worker stated they did not have any more two bed rooms i stated I booked and paid way in advance he said your not a Hyatt member they get first choice I stated there was no policy on that so we had to have a kind bed with 5 people in room.i asked if I could speak to a manager he stated it isn't do any good and wont change anything, so I did not get to speak to one . The ac In the front of hotel was not working the elevator was very wonky and not clean.super uncomfortable for 5 people.
- 3/5
Hotel staff were friendly but the actual hotel needs some maintenance done. One elevator was not working and the lobby was very warm. They had fans trying to cool the lobby. The air was working good in the room though. In my room when I turned the shower on the handle to control the water fell off. I had to request twice for someone to come fix it. Breakfast was tasty but both mornings they were out of oatmeal but had the toppings for it sitting out and there wasn’t any jelly for toast both mornings. The juice was in pitchers and wasn’t cold from sitting out. Also if you are a light sleeper be aware the hotel is right next to the highway so traffic can be heard in the room at night. All minor issues but added up makes me not want to stay there again.
- 2/5
Almost everything is wrong about the hotel. Elevator is not working, A/C in the lobby is not working, The hall way stinks so badly, the carpet is too old, There were lots of bad amenities I will never come into that hotel, no more, neither will I refer

One elevator worked . The lobby was hot . The breakfast was nasty & the ice machine spit out dirty ice One elevator worked . The lobby was hot . The breakfast was nasty & the ice machine spit out dirty ice
- 5/5
It was family friendly
- 4/5
One of the two elevators was out of operation. Also, the AC in the lobby was out. No one cleaned my room over the 2 days of my stay.
- 1.5/5
Only one elevator worked for the entire hotel, there was trash in random places, and the doors slammed loudly leading to hard times sleeping
- 2/5
The condition of the room was extremely disappointing and did not meet my expectations. I completely regret booking this accommodation.
- 2/5
Perfect location, close to everything and gated parking lot was a plus! Toilet was leaking, called front desk twice and no one came. Maintenance finally showed up on the second day and nothing was done. Had to use towels to soak up all the water.
- 5/5
Service from front desk, housekeeping and bar were exceptional. I felt right at home.
- 5/5
The room is very clean
- 3/5
Room is set to be cleaned only every four days unless you request another cleaning. We requested another cleaning two days in a row, and it never happened.
- 3.5/5
Stuff was mean and not helpful
- 3/5
The only problem we encounter is the floor is dusty with some human hair in the corners esp where the mirrors are located. My son had dust allergy and was keep on sneezing during our stay. We complained about it and the receptionist was kind enough to offer us to transfer to another room.
- 3/5
When I walked into the lobby, the air conditioner was out. Apparently, it had been out on the first floor for a while. In Texas heat, it’s pretty rough going without AC. They did have fans going, but the breakfast area did not have air-conditioning. The property really needed some TLC. There was only one elevator working, and it seemed a little rickety.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. This is a great place for families for the ample space it provides.
- 3/5
It was very hot in the lobby, one of the elevators was broken, the breakfast, not so good. The rooms tho were very clean.
- 5/5
The room is clean and specious. Parking is free.
- 4.5/5
Very comfortable and clean room. One of the elevators was not working.
- 3/5
Lobby had no ac. Rooms could use an update.
- 0.5/5
Had roaches in bathroom. Lobby was hot. Elevator was filthy
- 0.5/5
Management never got back to me or booking.com about my stay. Never had an answer about if I’d be reimbursed for the nights I didn’t stay at the hotel.
- 2.5/5
Either the air was out or it was just broken. We asked two different staff members about it and was told “we’ll have someone look at it” and that was the end of it. Maybe one night wouldn’t be too bad but we were there 3 nights with two little kids. Luckily we brought extra fans or it would have been dreadful.
- 5/5
First floor seemed very hot but I was just passing through to my room so really didn’t affect me.
- 5/5
It was a clean room.
- 2/5
Also they have a policy of cleaning the room every 4 days which is unbelievable especially in a Hyatt. I stayed five days and requested several times to clean the room but nothing happened. Nice people not efficient.
- 3.5/5
They didn't come clean the room
- 5/5
All was great
- 5/5
Overall great stay .
- 2.5/5
They did not return my deposit without justification.
- 2/5
The room was next to a very loud automatic gate used to exit the property. It did not promote sleep. The man who checked us in wanted $20 to check us in 45 minutes early. When we balked he caved and checked us in without charge.
- 4.5/5
Breakfast was very good. Multiple items to choose from. Varied from day to day. Plenty of tables for seating. Was always a little warm in the setting area, but not too bad.
- 5/5
What more can you ask for. Hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was respectable!
- 3/5
Convenient to Medical City Hospital.
- 4/5
Great room, comply bed! Great location, next to Costco & freeway, most anything you need is nearby! Breakfast was pretty good too and staff were wonderful! Hallways were a bit smelly & some minor maintenance/repairs could really make a big difference in the appearance of rooms & building.
- 5/5
Suggest maintenance staff oil hinges on bathroom and room doors. Squeaky doors.
- 5/5
Everything Nothing
- 4/5
For the one night this hotel was the best price for where I needed to be. Room was good for one night. The bath tub had hair all in it Floor was sticky , what ever was on housekeepers mop made the floor sticky. But it was not completely cleaned around the beds there was dust and hair. This was not this visit it was my visit last time too.
- 4/5
The room was clean, convenient to the Medical City Heart Hospital, and the staff were very friendly and supportive. Only complaint was a sluggish bathtub drain. Everything else was exceptionally good.
- 2/5
Despite these maintenance issues, the staff was friendly and did their best to assist guests. Hopefully these problems are temporary and will be addressed soon, as the hotel has the potential to provide a much better guest experience.
- 5/5
Thee lobby and dining area was very hot…not sure why. So that was uncomfortable, but the room felt fine. (Hopefully that gets resolved as the summer peaks) The tidy was tidy. BUT: Corners of the room had debris and hair that I know wasn’t ours so the place could’ve been cleaner. (Just a critic)
- 5/5
Nice.
- 4/5
The staff was amazing! Day and night crew were both super friendly and helpful. David woods definitely saved the trip for me! The only downside was the elevator, one was down so the other had a bit of a delay. Breakfast was well stocked and staff was quick on refills if needed.
- 2/5
Hotel has declined in quality, breakfast food is not how it was before. Cleanliness has also declined, AC was hot, pool always not open, pet fee too expensive for uncarpeted rooms, Staff has long, unclean nails at the front desk.
- 3/5
The experience was disappointing. The staff was often unhelpful and appeared to ignore guest requests. I frequently observed an employee using their phone instead of assisting guests or focusing on their responsibilities. The service quality needs significant improvement.
- 1/5
The property has multiple maintenance issues, including a malfunctioning elevator system. The buttons on the third floor do not work, guests are instructed to call the front desk for elevator service, and the front desk repeatedly fails to answer. Because I have a sprained foot, I have been forced to use the stairs multiple times. In addition, the pool has been closed and there are substantial maintenance issues throughout the property. These conditions were not disclosed ON EXPEDIA when I booked, and key advertised amenities are unavailable.
- 3/5
The beds were referred to as "Flintstone" type beds by my 18 year old and I agree. The a/c was out in the front desk area and when we checked in it smelled like weed. I'm not criticizing, just its harder when you are traveling with someone with reactive airway disease. The elevator was a bit scary with the sounds and kinda jolts when it stops. The pool was not open which I would have liked to be notified before check in and I would have moved the reservation elsewhere as it was a hot summer day and my 18 and 21 year olds wanted to swim. The night staff was kind when my husband spoke to her but the day staff on both days to check in and out could have been nicer. Facial expressions showed frustration but maybe they were uncomfortable as it was hot in there. None of us were crazy about the breakfast. The eggs were referred to by my 21 year old as they tasted like from egg drop soup minus the soup part. They definitely had weird flavor to them and I'm not sure were thoroughly cooked. I think the sausage could have been cooked more. The room was pretty clean overall. We went to the area for a concert and meeting family the next morning or I would have left the hotel and went back home after the concert. I also was not crazy about a $75 hold fee for incidental. I get hotels charge a fee but $75 on top of the room rate was excessive in my opinion. I expected a better experience with Hyatt on the building. I wouldn't and won't stay here again.
- 5/5
David and Crystal were GREAT!!!!! Would stay there again. David and Crystal went above and beyond our expectations
- 3/5
Upon arrival a nice girl helped checked me in but there was an older man who was helping another customer who was extremely rude to the customer as well as the girl that it turned me off and made me question where was I staying. It was disappointing to witness. It did not help that the AC in the lobby was broken? It was extremely hot. Thank god the hallways and hotel rooms were freezing! I felt like the rest of the employees were all on their phones and annoyed to be working but the place was clean, the hotel was clean (besides the dirty looking pool) and the breakfast was really good for a quick stay I recommend.
- 2/5
YGE POOL IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE! We didn't know until we got there and the pool was one of the main reasons we booked there. My kids were so upset and cried before we even got to the room. Call and check before you reserve.
- 2/5
Everything was poor
- 4/5
Very comfortable bed, clean rooms with plenty of space. Locations is great if you have a car. Everything is within 5min. Couple of negatives: I had a corner room facing the freeway and I had to sleep with earplugs, literally feels like you're on the side of the road. Elevator was not working, not a huge deal and I'm sure they'll eventually fix it. Outdoor pool was out of service.. The comfort of the room and soft beds were enough to bookmark this one for my next trip to Dallas.

- 3/5
The staff were very friendly yes ! When I arrived I was so upset that the pool was NOT available without notice or anything! First floor had no AC so breakfast was not pleasant. Only 1 working elevator that seemed to take at least 20 min each time.
- 5/5
The desk clerk was so helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious and very quiet, loved the gated parking. Would love to stay here again.
- 2/5
Only one good thing about the Hotel was the room. I can honestly say this was not a good experience - pool out of service, elevators did not work, A/C was broke and staff were unpleasant. I do not normally write reviews but this one has to written to let others know to be cautious when booking this hotel. There is a reason that is cheaper than other Hyatt Places.
- 3/5
Suggest staying on odd numbers not facing freeway. Noise all night from traffic
- 5/5
Clean and convenient to the airport.
- 4/5
Clean room, staff.
- 4/5
First thing that stands out about this property is the customer service! My family really appreciated the promptness and kindness of the front desk with assuring our needs were met. The breakfast was delicious and well worth trying each morning. My only concern was the elevator not being in service. I was told it was being serviced. I would stay here again!
- 2/5
There were also ants in the room, and the AC unit was visibly full of dust and dirt. I couldn’t use it because it aggravated my allergies, making the stay very uncomfortable. I will say, the staff members I did interact with were great—professional and kind—but unfortunately the overall condition of the property and lack of communication overshadowed that.
- 4/5
Will definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Room and Property were very nice. Only issue was the bathroom was a little small but still very usable. Kitchen area was great and bed was very comfy.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay .Everyone was very sweet and helpful I really enjoyed the breakfast also ...It was all very nice ....
- 5/5
Parking was very good and convenient. Breakfast was better than most. Elevators were terrible.
- 4/5
Didn’t eat breakfast Parking was ok
- 4/5
Property is maintained well
- 5/5
It was a best stay I had and everything was so perfect !!
- 1/5
The elevator felt like it was going to fall. It stops on every floor and shakes.
- 1/5
The room was hot, the lobby was even hotter during check in, breakfast and check out. During breakfast there were no plates, coffee, eggs or sausage. They kept saying they were working on it but we ended up leaving after 30min.
- 5/5
I had a great experience at this hotel, my room was very clean and nice. Breakfast was great the only thing I did not like was the air in the lobby was not working but other than that it was a great place.
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff was amazing, air conditioning was great in the rooms, breakfast was not up to par. Pool is closed til memorial weekend, in Dallas when the weather is 90* the kids were not happy about that, they did suggest the ymca.
- 2/5
The property was extremely hot & humid in the rooms. There were fans in the lobby pointing towards the entrance. The elevator is a complete safety hazard it’s stopped & the door opened repeatedly every floor before even getting to the floor i was staying on which was level 6 everytime we got on it! The other elevator must have been out of order there was no sign however only one worked. The rooms were cleaned decent my sheets were dirty & there wasn’t a phone in the room to contact customer service. Breakfast was okay i’m not a fan of buffet style food i assumed it would be more covered & at least hot or warm if not provide a microwave. The pool was 3ft didn’t even bother. Overall 3/10 experience won’t be booking here ever again.
- 3/5
Room AC worked well, breakfast was unusually good. Only one elevator worked so slow access. Toilet and shower area shabby. Overall facility felt worn-out except in the Lobby and eating areas.
- 1/5
Used cups and glasses in room were not picked up after room service.
- 2/5
The room was clean and basic. The staff were very short tempered and seemed put off by requests for malfunctioning keys. One of the two elevators were broken and the functional elevator sometimes just simply refused to run. Was told there would be gated parking but the gate never closed. All in all 5/10 needs updates.
- 5/5
The staff where very helpful and the breakfast was excellent
- 2/5
No A/C in lobby and breakfast area only one elevator working, And you have to call front desk to send a elevator.
- 5/5
The service was excellent from day one; the staff were very friendly. Everything was very clean and well-organized. During breakfast, everything was kept fully stocked, clean, and tidy. Thank you for your excellent service.
- 5/5
We loved our girls weekend away. Batman (Zion) was so awesome, helped us the whole weekend and made sure we had a great stay. He was very professional and went above and beyond, making sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed and made us laugh more than we can count. You have great staff. Your hotel is beautiful and has a great lay out. We were a little sad that the outside pool was closed for repairs but we will let that slide. As the room was very nice, the AC worked well and the water pressure was amazing!
- 5/5
Nice staff and clean
- 5/5
Very good Thankyou
- 3/5
I had to go to the desk to get what I needed.
- 5/5
Comfortable and clean. Good breakfast options.
- 3/5
Only one elevator worked and it seemed iffy. The pool was closed. The workers were pleasant. The room was clean. Breakfast was free.
- 3/5
The breakfast was good. The room was clean. The staff was amazing. Air conditioning worked very well. My only issue was that I had booked a double room, and I was told when I arrived that it wasn’t available. We had to sleep 3 people to a king, as that was all that was available.
- 3/5
the base of comode was leaking, fortunatly there was enough towel to pot on the leak
- 5/5
The elevator is sketchy but I always like this hotel. It is clean, comfortable and convenient. The staff is always super friendly.
- 3/5
I am thankful for that, however, I paid a nonrefundable $100 "deposit" for having a small dog with me. This should have been in the listing. I'm very disappointed-I literally chose this hotel for the pet-friendly listing and the lack of "deposit".
- 3/5
I called the property directly prior to check in and was told our room had a microwave. We checked in, no microwave which was fine. When I explained to the night mgr at check in, he argued and got very loud and rude that no one there told me that.I showed my phone call log. He continued to argue. There was no reason for that. He also hung out with his buddies in the lobby, very unprofessional. BUT the property was clean, the breakfast was WONDERFUL!
- 2/5
The property was average at best. The rooms are super tiny. The bathroom makes you feel claustrophobic. No drawer space to take clothes out of luggage. Literally 2 drawers for a family of 5. The pool wasn't open, but it didn't look clean. Work-out area was meh. The staff was nice, but not around very much. First night, I was told the room I had reserved was not available anymore, and they tried to give me a smaller room. The room I got was on the 3rd floor, and the elevator didn't go down, so I had to take the stairs all week. Elevators were dirty, and I felt very skeptical getting into them. Check out ther was nobody at the front desk. Multiple people just left their key cards at the front because they got tired of waiting. Just an overall bad experience, I will not be going or recommending this hotel to anyone.
- 5/5
My room was clean, staff was really nice, I overslept for breakfast but it probably was good, my drinks at their bar was okay. I would recommend this stay to all solo travelers and groups.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly the beds were actually super comfortable
- 3/5
safe didn't work, microwave not available, elevator broken for 2 days ... room was ok and spacious, the lady at the front desk that works on mondays around 3-4pm was very nice, her co-worker was very inefficient though
- 3/5
Rooms were clean but overall the property is pretty run down. Staff was great.
- 4/5
The room was fine except for the noise of the shower. The lobby needs attention and the elevator it’s about to break down. The employees were nice.
- 1/5
Both elevators were broken. A large breed dog barked all night long. The entrance gate, of the gated secure parking lot, was open (broken).
- 5/5
Love the workers very friendly great customer service
- 5/5
Love love love
- 5/5
Clean, fantastic rooms
- 5/5
We love the hotel, the Breakfast, the rooms are always clean.
- 4/5
Convenient location but can be a bit loud at night, so bring ear plugs for a restful sleep
- 2/5
breakfast was not great, nothing looked fresh and it was very plain. Door slamming all night long. It sounded like people were in and out all night. Apparently there was a fight on 03/06/26. The cops showed up and were interviewing people involve in the issue this happened in the morning.
- 3/5
Elevator not working, no discounts bo credit. Bad business.
- 5/5
great staff, clean, comfortable
- 4/5
👍
- 5/5
Super clean, really nice and staff was very nice & helpful!
- 1/5
Also, I asked them to give us clean towels and to make the beds and they did nothing!!!! Terrible. Will never stay there again
- 3/5
Rooms very nice and clean. Next time, I will ask for a room not facing the freeway.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful. Room very clean. Coffee pot in the room which was a big yeeesssssssssss! Would stay there again. The buffet breakfast was more than expected in items & quality.
- 2/5
Paper peeling from the ceiling. The elevator didn’t work for all floors . Not sure I’ll stay there my next trip to Dallas.
- 5/5
The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The location was perfect for our flight out.
