Reviews
The hotel received mixed reviews with guests praising the cleanliness, amenities, and friendly staff, particularly at the Jade Waters waterpark. However, several guests expressed dissatisfaction with hidden fees, noise levels, and poor customer service, particularly at the front desk.
- Clean and family-friendly hotel with great amenities, particularly the Jade Waters waterpark
- Friendly and accommodating staff in general
- Hidden fees and extra charges for parking and other services
- Poor customer service at the front desk and issues with room reservations and check-in

Gorgeous resort! Amazing hotel.

Used pool and swim up bar and both great. Bar closed a bit early. Facilities clean, comfy beds. Will stay again

Was there for a convention. Not enough staff in bar/ restaurants. Disappointed no bar/food service outside to be able to sit in pool area for a beverage and lunch. Need more options for food as there is nothing in walking distance. Staff was very friendly. Tower rooms top notch.

Poor ac everything cost so much money jadewater looks way better in pictures very small
- 1.5/5
The decor in the entire facility was actually very beautiful. My room smelled like sewage! I ordered room service since I traveled alone and I couldn't even eat because of the smell. The air conditioning was awful and never cooled my room. Just blew air on high but never cooled the room. I wasnt able to sleep and rest to be prepared for the next day. There were flies everywhere including the restrooms for guests indicating a sewage leak. Im very disappointed in the quality for the amount of money I paid.

It was a great place to stay with family, whether you have plans or not, this place will keep you entertained until you are ready to leave. Pool will definitely keep your little ones busy. Will definitely go back!

Water park area was fun, comfy beds, helpful staff

Amazing experience room, staff and atmosphere.

I wouldn't recommend visiting on weekends during the holidays. On Sunday, the pools were packed—making it impossible to swim—and it was incredibly noisy; worst of all, there were empty beer cans and dirty cups everywhere! They only started cleaning up right before closing at 9 PM, so everything was filthy throughout the afternoon. Monday was better, and by Tuesday it was perfect—there were fewer cups lying around, and I could actually swim. The Latina receptionist wasn't exactly friendly, and I wasn't a fan of the menu at the Media Grill restaurant. The mattress was terrible; I woke up with back pain every day. I stayed in a corner room with a king bed; I imagine the more expensive rooms might have better mattresses. The hotel looks beautiful on the ground floor, but considering the price, the service in general leaves a lot to be desired.
- 4/5
Food at the pool- like fries way over seasoned for kids to have. Medium size 11$ was way too salty. We enjoyed it but I do feel it’s way too expensive for what it actually is. was fun, customer service was excellent.
- 5/5
My grandchildren loved the outdoor pool. It really made their vacation.

What makes it even more frustrating is that these charges seem to apply repeatedly. For example, if you purchase something at the hotel, you are charged for the item plus the expected sales tax, but then you are also charged additional room and city taxes on top of that. It feels like you’re being charged multiple times for the same transaction, and the whole system makes absolutely no sense. On top of the excessive fees, the information provided by the staff was extremely inconsistent. Different employees gave completely different answers about policies and charges. It honestly felt like different hotels were operating within the same building. Overall, the unexpected fees, mandatory nightly charges, confusing billing, and inconsistent communication made the stay extremely frustrating. I would strongly recommend asking for a complete breakdown of every mandatory fee, tax, and nightly charge before booking, because the final cost can be significantly higher than what you initially expect.

Woken up by the construction noise on our first night there, but once we let front desk know they were able to accommodate us to another room on another floor
- 1/5
The room was outdated and the hotel was so hot it was awful and uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel
- 3/5
We enjoyed our stay at Hilton Anatole! The swim up bar was by far our favorite! The property is very beautiful and lots of things to do. However the maintenance staff was conducting a renovation above our room and started working by 8:00 AM each day which made it very hard to sleep in while on vacation due to the noise. But other than that we had a great time!
- 5/5
Amazing hotel. Friendly staff
- 5/5
This place is amazing...you don't have to leave the property for anything... Starbucks on site, art work in the lobby area is amazing and the lazy river was the best Everything was amazing!!!

- 2.5/5
Beautiful hotel, fun little waterpark. Room was poor, carpet was patched up, no water pressure in sink, safe was broke, AC went out, fridge went out!! Average to below average room and if you factor in that room wax $400, it was a terrible deal!
- 5/5
The room was clean and staff was helpful.
- 4/5
Check in took almost an hour but everything else was great, our kids loved the pool and the outdoor games near it
- 5/5
Perfect for young kids
- 5/5
The pool was amazing Beds were not that comfortable and breakfast was not great.
- 5/5
Absolutely loved this hotel! Everything was top tier and so beautiful. Obviously on the pricier end so consider that when booking and planning to enjoy any of the on site amenities. Highly recommend the breakfast buffet it was celebrity status. Plus kids each free with a paid adult. Waterpark was smaller than I expected but it was a great perk of the stay!!
- 3/5
Pool and hotel itself is very nice with options for food.
- 2/5
The bed was very hard and the bathtub/shower drained very slowly and we had to stand in 3 or 4 inches of water the whole time while showering. I reported it but nothing was done to change that. I requested an inside room because I dis not want a window with all the light. I got one anyway. The least expensive restaurant on site, charged $30 for the breakfast buffet (which was the only option before 11 am. Then they charged $26 for a burger and old fries for dinner. Crazy!! It was not very quiet either. The water park thing there, was so packed with people we could not really enjoy ourselves so we didnt stay all day as we had planned. I did not realize it was open to the public and not just for hotel guests when I booked our stay. It costs am additional $32 a day mandatory fee on top of the parking and room costs. Not worth all that to me. I would not recommend it. What was supposed to be a fun relaxing weekend was not. It is beautiful inside though. I can say that.

A lot of extra add on fees and taxes adding and extra 200.00 + to your bill 567.00 for 1 night is ridiculous no microwave and no complimentary breakfast
- 5/5
I love everything I believe the parking should be free for costumers and not having to pay $38 per night for costumers.
- 2/5
Room was @81 degrees(highest reading) @14th floor. Ac guys came to fix it but it cooled the room down just a pinch. Provided a fan to cool the room! Ac doesn’t work. When you get out of the room, you’ll sweat! Staff texted that a team member will contact me but they never did! And no trash bags in the trash bins. If you are going to get a room, choose lower rooms.

We really enjoyed the Waterpark and the Clubhouse.

The hotel overall was amazing!
- 3/5
This property is nice and maintained really well but the tower becomes overwhelmed and the elevators cannot keep up. It’s best to visit during the week - things start to go sideways on Friday evening when weekenders check in and there is a lot of non sense at the pool which becomes incredibly busy - my kids didn’t even want to swim anymore because there were too many wild people - we didn’t swim Saturday because of the issues Friday evening. The cleanliness went downhill - understandably as the staff and amenities were overwhelmed. Could not get breakfast on Saturday as the line was about 50 people deep. Sorry just not doing things like that when I’m on vacation.
- 2/5
They did not have my room that I had reserved!! My grown son had to sleep on a child's cot!
- 5/5
My daughter and I had a quick getaway before she moves for college. We loved our stay! The room was incredibly clean and the amenities were great! We’re planning to be back with the rest of our family.
- 4/5
The outdoor pool/water park was very nice. The water was clean and the facilities well maintained. They do need someone to wander around and pick up trash. It accumulated during our outing and was unsightly. The bar should also remain open untill the pool closes.

Very nice. Drinks at pool are a little pricey but delicious.

AMAZINGGGGG!!! I will be back for sure. Best staycation for me and the kids

- 5/5
Very nice, big hotel with great amenities. I will stay again. We enjoyed it very much.
- 1.5/5
Property has great ammenties. We didn't have water in the hotel room for about 24 hours as a main break occurred. In addition, the amenities are great but not well maintained and not managed well. The hotel will not let you bribv basic water to the pool and force you to buy everything there in which they charge literally 8x the price for poorly managed experience. I'm disappointed as this used to be my central spot to have my weekend with my kids. This is no longer a good place to go.
- 4/5
The only downside was the air conditioning in our room. We stayed on the 12th floor, and even though we had the thermostat set to 65°F, the room still felt closer to 75°F for most of the night. It didn’t finally cool down until around 3:00–4:00 a.m., which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. Other than that, everything else was great, and we really enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
Just would suggest making the check in process quicker.

The property and staff were amazing! We loved the lazy river. The only complaint I have is that I paid for a tower room but room 509, where we stayed had a view of a rooftop and nothing else. I wouldn’t count that as a “tower” room. Other than that everything was outstanding!
- 4/5
It was a bit warm in the atrium and the room was a decent walk from the desk. The bed felt like it had been slept in a lot on one side, there was a very distinct dip on that side of the mattress.
- 5/5
We love the Nanatole for a quick weekly getaway. The staff is always welcoming. The food on site is amazing. SER is top notch. The kids love Jaded Waters.
- 4/5
Could never get a hold of front desk for a quick question even though there was no one in line at that lobby
- 5/5
It was beautifully decorated and great service
- 5/5
A phenomenal venue and very spacious.
- 4/5
We loved the lazy river and water park!
- 4/5
The hotel and staff are great. The room (or at least our room) was fine. Absolutely nothing special. It could have been any room in any hotel anywhere. Certainly not what I’d expect with what we paid.
- 5/5
Great time
- 3/5
Stay was outstanding and staff was very kind and helpful. We stayed during 4th of July weekend. Not a good idea to mix grown ups, alcohol teens/children all together. Especially when the parents don’t police their kids and the staff seems to turn a blind eye
- 3/5
we stayed for 3 night and they didn't take out the trash even do i tell the frontdesk... other wise everything was good
- 5/5
Clean room and outside Jade waters is Amazing!
- 5/5
Loved everything at our stay. The rooms were clean. The staff was amazing and helpful. Our air conditioning wasn’t the best in our original room and they were very helpful and moved us to another room and even upgraded us for free due to the issue. 10/10 experience.

Loved my stay
- 5/5
Great breakfast and very kind staff
- 5/5
Friendly staff! Very helpful. Indoor Pool water park arcade. Food. Nice location. Had to pay for parking but overall great
- 4/5
They could use 2 separate color wrist bands for the water park. For above 21 and under 21. So you dont have to carry your DL with you to buy a drink. Also had quite hours because I was hearing doors slam and kids in the halls until 1am.
- 4/5
We enjoyed the room and Jadewaters, but the weekend we went, it was nearly impossible to find a tube to enjoy in the lazy river, and there was a 4H convention so the property was overrun by teenagers. We were under the impression that the main pool was adults only, but that was also not regulated.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, and most importantly clean facilities
- 5/5
Awesome time and great place to stay. Splash area was dirty though.
- 5/5
This place was great. It was huge with a Waterpark. I'd definitely recommend to others

This hotel is beautiful when walking. So much to do in a nice space. Thanks to the staff for a great stay!

Enjoyed the stay

The front desk clerk Nicole was incredibly rude. My 16 year old son asked for a room key and she would not give him one because of his age, which is totally OK. However, she spoke to him so rudely and attacked him in a way that was so unprofessional afterwards he called me and I went to the desk to get a key, and she was equally as rude and condescending and sarcastic towards me as well. I reported it to the management and they did nothing and she even sent security to my room to verify that I was in the room with my kids, simply just to give us one little extra headache. I will never ever be back specifically because of Nicole at the front desk.

Beautiful facility and grounds. Will absolutely go back with my kids and grandson. Jade Waters water park was amazing. Great location to restaurants, shopping, and venues.
- 5/5
It was very crowded on the 4th of July. However, no one can help that. It was a great place and excellent staff. I would recommend it to anyone going to the area!

Food was horrible and costs were outrageous
- 5/5
everything clean good attitude and big parking lot good rates
- 4/5
The resort is beautiful and the staff are helpful. My so. Had the best time at the water park . Definitely a place to visit .
- 3/5
Nice hotel overall but my key stopped working twice and I was on the 10th floor, had to walk back down to lobby with my 5 year old, super exhausting and frustrating! Prices are kind of high and they include taxes and gratuity when billing you and tells you nothing! Still haven’t received a final bill and new charges appeared on my account from hotel!
- 5/5
Great hotel/resort in DFW. Loved the lazy river, was not very crowded, and very well maintained
- 2/5
The rooms are very old and have a rustic, outdated feel rather than the modern luxury shown in the photos. The information and expectations set by the hotel were misleading. The bathroom was a major issue—the toilet clogged, causing water to overflow onto the bathroom floor, which was extremely unpleasant. The bedsheets also had an unpleasant smell, making it difficult to feel comfortable. In addition, the beds advertised as queen-size felt much smaller than expected. Overall, this hotel did not live up to its 5-star rating or luxury reputation. Considering the price, it was simply not worth it. I would not recommend staying here unless the hotel makes significant improvements to its rooms and overall maintenance.

The room needs to be updated:

We had a wonderful trip! The hotel was outstanding!
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful and so well kept . We visited the water park and that was super fun ! It was my brother n law birthday and they decorated our room so good. All staff we encountered were super friendly and very helpful
- 4/5
As we were taking a much needed nap after traveling. Also the swim up bar allows toddlers to play on the barstools. So not exactly adult time for others without kids.
- 5/5
This was a night too remember
- 5/5
Everything was beautiful and perfect!
- 4/5
Anatole grounds is always beautiful. The only complaint I have is that we reserved 2 queen beds and received 2 full beds. They were a little small to share.
- 4/5
Parking wasn’t bad at all, but I checked in on a Sunday and left midweek, but was very convenient parking right across from the main entrance. Jade pool was amazing. Well maintained overall, But I would give restaurants and food offerings ZERO, slow service, untrained staff, bad attitude all over, as for the food, any self respecting adult wouldn’t even touch it
