We enjoyed our second stay at the property. Pool was fun for my daughter. Los Charros is fantastic!

Love the Pottery Barn decor! Very clean, check in clerk and valet were very nice. Loved the restaurant as well.
- 4/5
Had a great stay. So close to campus. The restaurant is really good and staff were super nice
- 5/5
These guys are great. It would have been nice if they had told us that the restraint was booked for an event and if they hadn’t told us that the roof top was air conditioned and we could go up there instead. I think they were just messing with us unless they actually believed that, either way it was bad.

Very clean room with incredible decor! The front desk worker upgraded our room and was incredibly kind. Valet staff were very efficient! This stay was truly perfect, comfortable, and in a great location. I loved the views of the SMU campus and it was located in a super cute neighborhood that was walkable and close to many nice restaurants. I would LOVE to stay here again, not a single complaint!

To lots of restaurants and shops. The staff was AMAZINGLY FRIENDLY and helpful! Thanks for the great hospitality!

My daughter and I loved our stay. We were very comfortable. The room was clean and spacious. We also enjoyed the SMU theme displayed in the room. From the room keys looking like student ideas to the SMU colors! The location was perfect and walkable to SMU. So many adorable details. The staff was friendly and helpful in anything we may have needed. The restaurant was quick and convenient. Thank you for such a great stay.

Good value and easy to drive to Greenville.

We had an exceptional stay at The Graduate at SMU. The hotel is decor is adorable and every staff member we had contact with was kind and courteous. Definitely recommend staying here if visiting campus. Very convenient.

Great property- lots of style! Close to Snider Plaza- many choices for food/drink.

The decor in here is great, but it feels like lipstick on a pig. When we arrived the hot water wasn’t working which, okay, stuff happens I guess. Would have been nice to be notified when we checked in so I didn’t stand in the shower for 20 minutes trying to figure out how to make it hot. The bigger issue was the air conditioning in my room (224). It sounded like a helicopter taking off from my room. SO loud and it came on and off all night meaning I didn’t sleep.

Great hotel. Super close to everything at SMU.
- 2/5
I had to ask to change room after checking in because the room I was given was directly above the restaurant and the entire thing smelled like a deep fryer. When I went to the front desk the gentleman on duty didn’t have the authority or access to change rooms so I had to stay in that room, and wait until morning to change rooms. The pool was also poorly maintained. The water looked merky and there were lots of leaves/ things floating in it
- 3/5
The A/C was broken for the first two days of my stay. The lighting in the bathroom was extremely deficient.
- 1/5
Not accommodating whatsoever, only speak to AI text messaging, not kid friendly, also the power went out! Checked out in the middle of the night
- 4.5/5
Superb

We also had ants in the room near the beds and on the table. We reported it and were told the issue would be addressed, but unfortunately we still saw ants the next day. Valet parking was also very expensive, especially since the cars are simply parked around the side of the building. It would be nice if the hotel offered a lower-cost self-parking option for guests. The hotel has a fun atmosphere, but addressing these issues would make the stay much better.
- 5/5
Exactly as advertised. Valet is amazing.
- 5/5
Great rooms, staff and location.
- 5/5
Very trendy and cute hotel and pool area. Major drawback was no windows in my room.
- 3/5
Room has no window. Not right for that price. Also group in hotel was very noisy. Rooms aren’t very insulated.
- 5/5
Clean room and very friendly staff
- 5/5
Desk and valet….room was great, 1 bedroom overlooking pool.
- 3/5
The room was great. However, we were charged for breakfast even though we pre-paid for it via Expedia.
- 5/5
Always the best

Great location next to Smu, cute decor, would be great when warm to use pool. Restaurant was meh and pricey for what you get.

terrible room no window
- 5/5
There were a few quirks with the room, but the staff was outstanding! Location is perfect! I will stay there again & again.
- 5/5
Love the decor very arty and cosy for a Hilton hotel
- 2/5
The restaurant puts grated cheese/egg on a bagel with lox. Front desk guy is uninterested in the guests.
- 5/5
No breakfast
- 5/5
Very nice hotel conveniently located adjacent to SMU campus and within easy driving distance to all major areas of interest in Dallas.
- 5/5
We chose this hotel because it is five minutes from our son’s house. Super convenient. Our second stay there. The bed was too hard for our taste but other than that it was great.

Returning customer. Have stayed numerous times and always enjoy the location, updated amenities and friendly staff

- 5/5
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is super conveniently located in the park cities.
- 4/5
Big fan of The Graduate (formerly The Lumen). Love the location, the boutique hotel feel, and the new renovations. Hallways are way too dark - please lighten up a bit. Please bring back the free coffee bar in the mornings! Friendly staff!
- 3/5
Incredible location next to smu. Not very quiet at night. Room had no good places to hang towels. Cream and sugar but no coffee or tea in the room which was strange. Overpriced but secondary to the location I guess.
- 0.5/5
terrible room no window
- 4/5
Love the graduate hotels except their beds are extremely uncomfortable. That’s across every location.
- 5/5
Not crazy about parking options but room and staff makeup difference

- 5/5
Have stayed here multiple times and highly recommend, especially for anything to do with SMU- walking distance to anywhere on campus. Excellent new restaurant, rooms have always been spotless and comfortable, staff always pleasant and welcoming.

I really liked everything about this hotel. The proximity to SMU is obvious. But I also loved the small details, and their breakfast was good too.

- 5/5
Directly across street from SMU. Very convenient
- 3/5
Lobby and restaurant are great. Just the rooms make me not want to stay here again.
- 3/5
The bed and the pillows were hard as rocks. Only complaint. They were truly uncomfortable. Otherwise, staff and location are great. But they need to fix that issue. I won't stay there again anytime soon just due to not being able to sleep well.
- 4/5
Quick stay for business. Walking distance to a few places to eat, not far from Highland Park Village.
- 3/5
The shower also was disappointing as the water pressure was not enough for the oversized, non-adjustable shower head.
- 5/5

- 5/5
No water offered
- 4/5
Good but dated property. A/c blew cold but very loudly. On property restaurant was good, however a simple morning coffee there was a ridiculous $7.50 +tax+tip. Go to Starbucks a few blocks north.
- 5/5
We stayed on the south side of the property this year and found the room was much smaller than our previous visits staying on the north side of the property.
- 3/5
This was the cleanest and best airconditioned room I have ever stayed in. But....there is NO complimentary coffee, no coffee maker in your room, and no parking. Valet is $40 per each day of your stay. No choice to park on your own! And there is no Smart TV. The rooms are very nice but very dark and the bathroom lighting is horrible! We chose this hotel based off Expedia reviews and the Hilton name, but this is not a Hilton style hotel.

Seemed to be short on staffing too. Disappointed in Hilton!!
- 3/5
Lots of construction and few amenities. Price was considerably higher than it should have been given the circumstances.
- 2/5
The hotel location is excellent, but that’s about it. Nothing else measured up to the price we paid. The hotel was under renovation, so the lobby, elevator and hallways were all dusty and dirty. The shower stall was badly constructed, and water flooded across the bathroom floor and into the bedroom. Parking was by valet only, which turned into an unexpected and unwelcome cost and inconvenience. (The parking places are right there next to the entrance, so I would have rather gotten directly into the car myself without assistance.) “Breakfast” was a grab and go of overpriced coffee and muffins. We elected to go out and found a nice breakfast place in the neighborhood instead. None of the staff members were particularly cordial or responsive to our disappointment with the condition of the hotel.
- 1/5
and we werent told. So, no lounge and no restaurant!! Also, there is renovations going on in other places in this hotel. The ac was extremely noisy and it sounded like water dripping everytime the ac went off.
- 4/5
I was not aware they were undergoing a renovation from The Lumen to becoming a Graduate by Hilton hotel. So there was active construction and work going on during my stay and The Front Room restaurant was not open. That being said, I was told it is slated to be complete by April 2025, and the style and amenities of the new brand look great so far. Also the staff was really accommodating- including Gilbert at the front desk check in who gave me a place to work while I waited for my room to be ready. I look forward to coming back when all of the upgrades are complete!
- 2/5
Room was good, valet parking was great Roomservice, every daybed had to ask for them to clean te room. Frontdesk, they are not interested in the guest, never welcome you when you arrive at the hotel. They where rebuilding the hotel, 10 hours of drilling dust and all area where closed outdoor lobby. No apologies nothing. Restaurant was closed.
- 4/5
Room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. There was a lot of construction, so we didn't really get to try out or enjoy the other facilities.
- 3/5
The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly. The issues we found were the hotel is under renovations and so there is no restaurant, no bar, no room service. Some rooms have been renovated but poor lighting, no closet, no wardrobe dresser, no mirrors to get ready if the bathroom one is being used, amenties are just not there for the cost. I wish they would have indicated they were under renovations, so we could have opted for a different place.
- 2/5
It's under construction
- 3/5
Rooms need coffee maker
- 1/5
The room was filthy and dirty. Pool and gym were closed. None of this was disclosed. This hotel should not be open while this level of construction is taking place. We left after 30 minutes and booked a different hotel for the weekend. I have requested hotels.com to issue a refund.
- 3/5
Hotel is under construction, not fully operable - construction dust everywhere
- 2/5
What a disappointment for $329 per night. Under heavy construction, not sure that was mentioned when booked. Room wasn't ready til 3:30 so had to change in their absolutely disgusting bathroom. No mini fridge in room or any real closet space. Shower water got all of the floor. Great location but too many negatives.
- 3/5
Was not aware when we booked that hotel is under construction. No front desk, ground floor cold and papered up for renovation. Our room was nice and seemed clean but electric outlet by bed didn’t work, bathroom sink was backed up and the coffee offered was a packet of instant coffee. Very quick trip and location was convenient so worked for us but felt price should have reflected the current state of the hotel.
- 5/5
Great location, convenient and nice.

- 4/5
Great Hotel, it was under construction so they are under contract for renovation which is understandable. The shower wasn’t cleaned very well, but other than that great hotel. The staff was amazing from the front desk to the front room dining. Our favorite person was the valley person Moses great guy good energy from beginning to end.

- 5/5
The location was perfect. We were greeted warmly. The service at the restaurant was wonderful and the bartender made impeccable recommendations.

Great hotel! We’ve stayed here twice now and the staff is always helpful, the property is clean and our room is ready on time. Great location too. We’ll be back!

Rating is zero. I did not get an upgrade and they had upgrades available and with my status I should've have an upgrade and a late check out but that wasn’t given to me even though they had rooms available. The staff knocked on my door continuously from 9 AM until 1 pm with a late check out I'm entitled to a 4 PM check out. To knock on my door seven times and call six times is unacceptable. I was also supposed to receive 20% discount on food with status and didn’t receive that either. This hotel is more of a 2 star hotel. Be warned.
