The staff was really nice!!! Breakfast was also really delicious and fairly extensive. We went to a show at the bomb factory and it was only a mile away from the Hotel! Parking is a little rough, but that is to be expected in Dallas

I could walk round trip to my main destination here in Dallas. The internet is free. The breakfast is abundant. Smells weird. No bad. Just weird I had to pay for parking and on my filters I put parking free. It didn't happened.

hotel and valet was nothing like what they had on their website. We had maybe been in our room maybe 2hrs when a man tried getting in our room luckily I had enough time to put the latch on but he was able to do so with his key card. I pushed the door shut and locked the bottom lock again and he took off. I immediately called the front desk I believe her name was something like katryma she said she was sorry that happened to me that if I could go downstairs and have MY card recalibrated so it wouldn’t happen again. I had my daughter and niece with me so I didn’t feel safe in doing so, so I reached out to Expedia to get my room refunded and rebooked elsewhere due to our safety. Within a few mins the receptionist called my room again to see if I had called the 3rd party to request a refund and I said I sure did because I did not feel safe at that point! She said unfortunately because you’ve already been here a few hrs I can’t refund you your money the most I can due is move you to another room on the conjoined hotel. I replied w/how was that going to resolve anything if my keycard was not the problem how can she assure me it wouldn’t happen again, no response. Expedia attempted reaching out again with no further response from anyone in the hotel. Security never went to check on us. We then decided to call 911 to escort us out of the hotel since we didn’t feel safe leaving the room unsure if someone was waiting for us to leave our room. Pls book elsewhere! Mngr was very unfriendl

Terrible location and parking, avoid at all costs had to park 2 blocks away

The stay was perfect!! Just don’t use the valet! Multiple items were stolen from our vehicle!

Very good room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not the most beautiful part of Dallas, but the hotel made up for it in style.
- 3/5
Room wasn’t the cleanest
- 5/5
Everything inside the hotel was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful.Breakfast was more than enough satisfactory.can’t complain about the inside at all,Outside can use some attention & upkeep like bushes trimmed and saw lots of trash on walkways, around behind pool gates, plastic bags, just trash all over, maybe some trash cans outside might help.

Cecilia is the manager and she was very helpful in solving an issue with the reservation we made through hotels.com. Thank you! Our stay was enjoyable.
- 3/5
The room was a bit out dated roof looked rough and creepy but the staff was outstanding and accommodating especially Keegan and Cessily both front desk employees they made our nights fun and offered places to dine and just enjoyed their hospitality!
- 5/5
Very clean room and good relax

Check in was easy, room was spotless, staff was courteous. We only stayed one night and breakfast was eggs, pork sausage, breads, waffles, and assorted breakfast drinks. Staff at the breakfast area were very nice.
- 5/5
Staff were very accommodating and the breakfast buffet was very decent.

Great stay very nice and close to a lot fun things
- 4/5
Im not going to say spotless.I going to say clean and presentable.I believe they had construction going on and some paint was left behind. The staff was very respectful and helpful. They were busy because it was Valentine's weekend and they were still very kind.Everything else was great.I like that you had to have a key card to get to your floor.
- 5/5
Our stay was great. The front desk staff could not have been more accommodating and the room was very large and spacious. We felt the area was very safe and it was extremely close to the Dallas World Trade Center, which is what we were attending
- 4/5
Good stay. The only issue is that they have a very limited amount of parking. The valet was completely full so we had to find a public parking lot (its a pretty sketchy area) and walk.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently located.

The hotel was pretty clean and has a bar with free breakfast. Although it’s undergoing construction you don’t hear any of it.
- 4/5
Check in and Valet services were prompt and smooth. We stayed on the 2nd floor. We could hear all the outside noise, that was the only downside.
- 5/5
The staff (from the front desk to the breakfast person to the cleaning staff) was very kind and helpful. Even though the hotel is being renovated, it was still very clean. This hotel was in a great location. We were able to easily walk to downtown, the Farmer’s Market, and Deep Ellum. I would definitely stay there again, and I highly recommend it!
- 5/5
I disliked the parking situation
- 5/5
GREAT staff, very pleasant and accommodating. I love the hotel, just wish it was in a little safer area. $45 for valet parking is excessive but because of the location, if you have a decent car you have to use it!

It was okay, but I wouldn’t stay there again. The “suite” was really one, long room, and it did not have a warm, cozy atmosphere. The hotel seemed to be a repurposed industrial building. The ceilings were VERY high, and the floors and walls were concrete. The hotel, itself, was fairly quiet, but sound traveled very easily. If anyone was in the hallway (as a few were at 3am), it was extremely loud. We could hear every door near our room opening and closing. In addition, there is no nearby parking—guests must be prepared to Uber everywhere or spend $40/day for valet or garage parking. (The valet spots were full when we were there, so that option was not even available for us.) This was additionally a problem because the hotel is not in a good part of town and I did not feel very safe walking a few blocks to our car. Lastly, it was expensive, especially considering all of the drawbacks. The positive aspects of the hotel, such as the breakfast and fairly comfortable beds, were not enough to overcome the negative aspects; they were things you should expect from any reputable place with a high price tag.
- 4/5
Really neat building, modern industrial! We were able to check in early. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant area is under renovation but that didn’t effect our stay or the breakfast. Thank you.
- 5/5
Property was under construction only issue
- 5/5
My only complaint is we arrived to the hotel after a concert and asked about parking and no one knew what to tell us except for “try the street maybe.”
- 5/5
The hotel and staff were wonderfulThe valet kind of expensive, but very kind and fast. But the outside homeless drug, gross humans doing awful things.Scary
- 5/5
I loved how easy it was to get to everything. They were exceptional staff.
- 2/5
Very disappointing. The staff was friendly but the hotel is very run down, dirty, and in a very, very bad location. We watched a man beating someone with a pipe a block from us. Also awaken in the middle of the night by people yelling on the sidewalk outside. Lots of homeless people and prostitution by our hotel. Did not feel safe.
- 4/5
Clean room, good breakfast

Easily located at the heart of Downtown Dallas. Convenient located in most attractions, restaurants and other ameneties. The room that we are in is newly renovated (I believe) with an induatrial vibe. Gorgeous! A must stay hotel!!

Great time at this hotel! Great location too!

Staff are super friendly and helpful. I didnt know the property was undergoing renovations until a couple days prior to arriving. But it was still a pleasant stay. I really wosh breakfast went until 10am. Was in town for concerts and no one I know can make it to breakfast before 9am.
- 5/5
Everything was great, the only thing i didn't like was... as a first timer the parking was very confusing but after we checked in the hotel everything was as clear and much better. Thank you!
- 4/5
Comfortable, easy to find, guest services were awesome, valet was was quick and helpful.

Nice staff and great amenities

The area is going through an upgrade with older building getting replaced.
- 3/5
Was a little disappointed, for the price i paid outdated, dirty pillowcases. Front desk people were very nice, i didn't report it because It was just a overnight stay, but yeah, you guys maybe need to. Think about checking the pillowcases, they were really bad.

I was at the Fairfield in downtown Dallas with my family June 21-23rd The place had a feeling of nostalgia and took me back to my younger days. It has beautiful hardwood floors and comfy beds. The staff were very professional and accomodating. Our every need was seen to promptly. Joshua Vasquez was the absolute best! He made us feel welcomed and resolved an issue with professionalism and courtesy. The free breakfast was pretty good. They had a great variety of hot items like scrambled and boiled eggs, quiche, breakfast sandwiches, sausauge, waffles, fresh fruit bacon, oatmeal, muffins and bagels, and many other items. The kitchen manager was great! If we needed something, and she had it, she would make sure we had it. I would definitely come back.

I typically like the Fairfield but this one missed the mark for me. First the good was the front desk service was great they greeted us as soon as we arrived and made the check in and check out process easy. The continental breakfast was clean and good no complaints. Now for the bad the whole build smelled of mothballs which isn’t the best smell. When we were in the bathroom I noticed that there were stains on the towels. With the hotel being down town I didn’t like the fact that the parking garage was valet only and $45 a night. That sucked because there were homeless people everywhere around the property which made me feel obligated to pay because I didn’t want my vehicle broken into. I didn’t get a chance to visit the pool or gym but that was my impression from my few night stay.
- 5/5
Convenient location to the convention center, Dallas Farmers Market, the Exchange Hall and other places downtown. We walked every day and never felt unsafe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast each morning was great. The valet attendants were also very helpful and there were times they were super busy but always smiling. We would stay here again. Before going I was concerned about homelessness based on reviews. There were homeless in some areas like the park or a sidewalk, but not outside the building and not in abundance. We were never approached by anyone.
- 3/5
Not happy. 45$ parking for guests.
- 3/5
Parking conditions were horrible. The picture shows a parking garage, however that is NOT part of the property. You have to park on the street at a meter or a block or two away in a sketchy parking area. Very unsafe. Otherwise, valet park at $45/night (which I highly recommend - lesson learned). Room was nice.
- 5/5
Very easy walk to Kay Bailey center. Many food options are walkable.
- 5/5
It was nice and felt safe for me and my son

Excellent hotel and staff
- 5/5
It was great. Great service. Rooms were clean and AC was very cold which was good. The only issue was parking.
- 5/5
The stay was great. The room was clean, AC worked great on a hot day, bed was comfortable. Great place to stay. Customer service was very friendly and there to help.
- 4/5
Stay was good. Parking situation needs some work but overall staff was very nice and helpful.
- 3/5
Hotel could use an upgrade to condition. There were a lot of homeless people around the hotel making it not completely safe to walk around at night.
- 5/5
The front desk concierge was very nice and professional
- 2/5
Cleanliness is sub par.. Found some ones contact on the bathroom floor.. You can tell it wasn't cleaned well. Then we had issues with our toilet not flushing. Something was wrong with the bowl. We let front desk know and they were willing to switch our rooms but the bowl ended up filling and they said they'd send maintenence in the morning but they never showed. I was supposed to book another night here and ultimately decided not to. I wish I could have gotten my money back and booked elsewhere. It was so uncomfortable. Parking is basically non-existent unless you valet.... While we were there the lot filled when we arrived back one of the nights and one of the valet guys was upset, he made us wait outside... Luckily another one came and took our key. They only have 1 working elevator for the Fairfield, can't speak on the other, so it would take a while sometimes to go down to the lobby. Overall it was an uncomfortable experience...
- 5/5
Great stay, nice room, & great staff.
- 3/5
The building is old but nice. The staff is great! Parking is TERRIBLE!!!! They have very limited valet and no self-parking spaces owned by the hotel. You have to park in a lot around the hotel. One lot is used by the homeless population to sleep and they will yell at you for parking there. One lot is apparently managed by 2 or 3 different companies with NO DIVIDERS! I received 3 parking tickets in 2 days because there are no fences, signage or even spray paint to tell you which "lot" you are in. The only way I could stay here again is if I didn't have a car and planned to Uber or walk for my entire trip.
- 5/5
Very comfortable and quiet
- 3/5
The property's location in downtown is near a clubbing area. We did not feel safe walking anywhere or waiting outside for taxis. There was also a lot of noise on the weekend from people coming back to the hotel and continuing the party all night.
- 4/5
Very spacious rooms, excellent breakfasts. The walls are a little thin, so it’s easy to hear when your neighbors are noisy.
- 5/5
the room was bigger than expected! floors could have been a little cleaner but overall, no complaints
- 5/5
The homeless constantly walking and yelling up and down the side of the building

The property was very clean. Heir security was very good. But i would not leave the property alone at night on foot. Literally a tent city in the parking lot behind the building.
- 4/5
Great location. Clean rooms. Not the best parking options
- 5/5
The property was easy to find, and they offered valet parking. The room was pretty and comfy and the shower was great too. The breakfast buffet was delicious but ended at 9 am. Check out was noon, we didn’t feel rushed. Everything was clean and the staff were all friendly. Very competitive pricing for this area, too. :)
- 5/5
Hotel was very clean and well maintained. The elevator was a little iffy with the printed sign about not jumping or sudden movements. It was also missing its last inspection. Other than that the rooms were clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great. The hotel staff the best part. They were all super friendly and gave great recommendations of things nearby to walk to. The area around the hotel was a little sketchy with the roads being worked on and the homeless people. But those are not things the hotel can really change.
- 3/5
Room was not cleaned well. We asked to have it cleaned and no one ever showed up. Sketchy area. Dining options for walkers very slim.
- 5/5
Amazing staff and service!
- 5/5
We were here for a cheer competition. Great experience. Staff were friendly and the room was clean.
- 3/5
Average stay - nothing special. Hotel under renovations apparently. The room we requested (king bed) when we made our reservations was not available when we arrived. Staff was unable to make a change to another room. ?? Hallways smelled funky; rooms a little bit better with regard to smell. Valet parking was not efficient; had to wait on valet more than once to take care of car. Breakfast selections were good and plentiful! Not a bad stay, just average.
- 2/5
Property needs an upgrade.

It was great to have the option to walk to Assay chair lift or get the bus to the Base Village. Super easy to ride home across the ski bridge and walk! Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Do Not stay here! Hotel should be condemned! It's dirty, smelly and nasty. I was worried we may die in our sleep from carbonmonoxy poisoning. Very scary experience. The only positive was the staff. They were very kind and apologized for the conditions of the hotel. Only stayed one night so we stuck it out but I will never stay here again.

The room was great but the valet service was not very good at all and the valet drivers smelled like marijuana and made our car smell like it. Also we had to find the driver several times to get our car or return our car.
