Reviews
The hotel reviews indicate a mix of positive and negative experiences. While the staff is frequently praised for being friendly and helpful, the property itself is often criticized for being old, dirty, and in need of updates.
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Spacious rooms and suites
- Old and outdated property
- Dirty and unkempt conditions

The breakfast menu was good, but the preparation was not very good. The potatoes were overcooked, and so was the sausage. I saw several cockroaches in my room as soon as I entered. First time I encountered Cockroaches in a Embassy Suites room.

Overall, I had a great stay! The hotel is a little older in style, but it has a really nice atmosphere and was comfortable overall. The parking garage was probably my biggest concern. The hill going down into the garage is very steep, and I was nervous about my vehicle’s clearance, so I decided to park in the back of the hotel instead. The gentleman who checked me in was very polite and helpful. I also stopped by the bar, and the bartender made a delicious tequila sunrise! The room had a slight noticeable smell—not necessarily a bad smell, just something I noticed when I walked in. Other than that, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower water got nice and hot and stayed hot, which I definitely appreciated. Breakfast was also good. I had a made-to-order omelet and really enjoyed it. Overall, despite the hotel being a little older and the parking garage being tricky to navigate, I enjoyed my stay and had a great experience with the staff and amenities. I would stay here again!

BEWARE: Vehicle Stolen After Following Hotel Staff Instructions My wife, granddaughter, and I arrived at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Park Central Area on May 28 at approximately 10:00 p.m. after a six-hour drive. Because our high-profile pickup truck would not fit in the underground parking garage, we went to the front desk to ask for guidance. The front desk employee, Latasha, informed us that we could park directly outside the front entrance under the awning as long as we displayed a parking slip she provided. We specifically asked whether there was any risk of being towed, and she assured me that as long as the slip was visible on the windshield, our truck would be fine. The following morning, May 29, after breakfast, we walked to the front desk and immediately noticed our truck was no longer where we had left it. Latasha was working that morning, and when we questioned her, she went to the back office after we requested to speak with a manager. Instead, another male employee came out to address the situation. After I explained what had happened, his response was, “We don’t tow.” Our 2021 Chevy Silverado Carhartt Edition had been stolen from directly in front of the hotel entrance, under the awning, after being parked there at the direction of hotel staff! What was supposed to be a relaxing getaway weekend with our granddaughter quickly turned into dealing with police, insurance and the claim process, & OnStar, all while coping with the theft of our only vehicle. I encourage future guests to carefully consider their parking options and ask detailed questions about vehicle security. Based on our experience, I would recommend choosing accommodations that offer secured parking or valet services.

You get what you pay for. Burnt out lamp stand in room, dirty shower
- 1/5
Room so hot..AC NOT ON..never have feeling like that before.so terrible when you have 2 kids with you and the weathers so hot..never go back again
- 3/5
The photos are edited. The facility is older and dirty and reeks of smoke. Elevator worked on and off and the air conditioning went out in the room. The back doors were broken so had to walk all the way around the building to unload each time you had to go back to get more. Late in the evening 2AM we were told they could move us to another room but my babies had finally fallen asleep. I would not recommend.
- 5/5
Overall, a great stay. Checked in after midnight, and they were accommodating and very helpful. The made-to-order breakfast was great as well. In the evening, you have a happy hour for 2 free drinks plus snacks. I would recommend staying here while in Dallas.

This was not a great experience as a traveler and my first time staying at the Embassy Suites. The young black male who checked me in was very nice had great customer service, I wish I remembered his name. After my interaction with him it went downhill. The room was extremely hot, I checked the thermostat and it said it was on 60 but the room was at 80 degrees and this was around 5pm. I figured since we were leaving for a family event by the time we came back it would have cooled down. Nope, returned at midnight still hot we suffered sweating, grandkids crying it was unbearable. Tub takes 20 minutes to drain, toilet handle broke went to try and fix but when we raised the lid it was full of mold and I was not stuck my hand in there. Last the elevators whether it morning or night you wait 30 minutes just to go up or down this place is awful all the residents were complaining, they need to do better. Also the pool was closed smh never coming back!
- 1/5
Entire hotel did not have AC working neither individual ACs at the rooms worked. My room never went below 80 and had to leave because I kept sweating and hot dehydrated.
- 4/5
The location The ac didn't work, waiting for the elevator took at least 7- 10 min every time, the pool was closed it really was a uncomfortable stay
- 1.5/5
Your breakfast and a happy hour It was very very hot in my room I called the maintenance he never came
- 2/5
The staff was nice but they really need to clean the carpets in the rooms and spray for ants. I was on the 7th floor in there was ants in the restroom. Also the homeless people in the parking garage needs to be handled. Especially if you have to pay $20 a night to park.
- 5/5
Excellent excellent awesome
- 4/5
Didn’t have it To pay for parking
- 2.5/5
The staff was polite & the breakfast was good There was a bag of trash sitting on the floor outside of my room when I first arrived. I had to remind guest services to remove it. The phone was not operable. I was promised a new one but it was never delivered I think I incurred some bug bites on my ankle The garage was had several, larger puddles of water which impeded walking & parking. The trash can was smelling very bad but was finally empty. Lastly persons were standing around down the garage which was strange. I’m not sure if they were pwaiting to get picked up

Only the manager was responsive and pleasant.

I absolutely Do Not recommend this hotel!! The rooms were not cool made it extremely difficult to sleep. Beds were uncomfortable as well as couch in room. Mold in the bathroom stains on the floor. The breakfast was not great at all, neither was the managers reception, the pictures were nothing like they actually had. The bartender was not very friendly. The rooms were again warm as well as the whole hotel. The pool area was so strong with chlorine smell you couldn't even swim , got headaches after not even 20 minutes my kids didn't even want to go back that alone speaks volumes.one elevator didn't work, and one made you nervous every time you stepped on the floor. Could not call out from room phone wouldn't let us call front desk. We asked for a blanket and finally got one like an hour later and it had a hole in it. Was absolutely disappointed and disgusted by the hotel. The others we had stayed at were great this one was horrible.
- 5/5
Great job
- 2/5
The air wasn't working, there was mold in the room, stains on the carpet, waterbugs in the pool area. The manager wasn't helpful or accommodating. The "system" went down and they said they couldn't put anyone in rooms, they had to wait and they didn't know how long it would be. I was really shocked and disappointed, because I just stayed at one of their properties a few weeks ago in Ft. Lauderdale and it was very nice.
- 5/5
The breakfast and room Pool don’t open till 10

This property has really gone down. As someone who has stayed here several times it was very disappointing. In addition to the conditions one of the beds had an ant problem, yes ants. So we ended up using the other bed and the front couch in the suite since it was so late. Definitely won't be staying at this location again. Even the breakfast selection didn't seem to be up to the typical Embassy standard.
- 3/5
Ok
- 2/5
Unfortunately the hotel is in very poor shape. The AC was not operating properly. The hotel lobby and rooms are very dated. Carpets dirty looking and entire hotel was a complete sauna because of the AC issues. Staff was wonderful despite all the building issues. They tried to help out as much as possible but were suffering through the same heat issues. Hilton needs to get in there and clean up this hotel. Sadly my review is poor because of the building itself. Staff was phenomenal and willing to offer as much customer service as possible and the breakfast was incredible too.
- 4/5
Housekeeping didn't mind bringing cups or extra towels. Pool was a little on the cool side. Almost too cool, but kids didn't mind. Adults were freezing in it.
- 2/5
Quiet Ac not properly working nothing done about it

No AC. Electricity outlets didnt work, bathtub doesnt clog to take a bath
- 1/5
Staff was nice. Rooms need updating and A/c and room ventilation was not good
- 2/5
During the stay the AC was not working properly and we were hot the entire stay 2 nights. Front desk staff did give us a box fan but it didn't help much. Front desk staff were awesome and very friendly and helpful. Maintenance man came to the room our 1st night but whatever he did didn't help the AC and a maintenance man came right before we checked out and stated he was going to drain the water and change the filter to see if that helps the AC. The rooms were cleaned but outdated. The entire hotel definitely needs an upgrade. The breakfast was not the best. The underground parking needs an upgrade as well. My family and I wasn't pleased with the stay.

Check in was fast and easy. I asked if there was bedding for the pull out couch and they told me if there wasn't to just call. But once in my room I could not get anyone to answer at the front desk or housekeeping. The curtains were stained and the floor was disgusting. The door into the bedroom looked like they had to break into it at some point and never got fixed. The room never got cooled off until the middle of the night and that was with the A/C at the lowest temp. Everything felt damp. We stayed 2 nights and housekeeping never came so we tracked them down. We asked for towels and washcloths, but there was a language barrier. The pool was decent, clean looking water but pretty cold. The area around the pool needs lots of work, just like the area around the bar/breakfast area. It was warm and humid in every area. At least one, sometimes 2 of the 4 elevators weren't working while there. Breakfast was good for a free breakfast.

Me cambiaron tres veces de habitación y una era peor que otra. Tuve que dormir usando un ventilador. Es decepcionante. Expedía no me respondió después de contactar tres agentes diferentes y el personal del hotel fue deplorable.

Place is very clean. Staff were the best, very helpful. I will book my next visit in here
- 5/5

- 4/5
Hard to go wrong with an Embassy Suites. This is a bit of a faded glory location that has all the makings of something cool... 30 years ago. Still nice and good value and good place to stay. Will return
- 4/5
Stay was affordable- great price but AC needed work - Room had a slight smell of cigarette or something but comfortable bed
- 2/5
Dirty, hair in our omelette, mold in bathroom, bed was real hard and squeaky, sheets were soiled, bartender was real rude, no one is friendly at this hotel.
- 5/5
Clean room , nice staff , god breakfast!
- 1/5
I’d like to file a complaint about my recent stay. It was for my little sister’s birthday, but the experience was very disappointing. The front desk employee was rude, and a manager wrongly confronted me about wearing shorts even though I had them on under my pool towel. During happy hour, my family never received all of the complimentary drinks included with our coupons, while other guests appeared to receive better service. The snack table had stale chips and flies around the food, and an employee was using a plate to shoo the flies away. The hotel also advertised a spa that wasn’t there. Our room phone didn’t work, the toilet barely flushed, the room stayed freezing despite adjusting the thermostat, the shower water stayed too hot, and the pool was closed all day despite being one of the main reasons we booked. After checkout, I reported a portable charger left on the bed. I was first told nothing had been found, but after I explained exactly where I left it, the hotel immediately called back saying they had it. This stay ruined my sister’s birthday, and I’m requesting a refund for the amount I paid, excluding the gift card portion.

Clean prompt good staff breakfast was delicious

Clean and.nice big rooms and breakfast was nice and lots of choices:)

The bartender who serves Happy Hour drinks was NOT friendly. Instead of answering people answer he just points to the sign. I saw that the husband stood in Line to order the drinks, and when the drinks were ready, he made the wife, who sat a few feet away, stand up and walk to pick up her drink. It was not the same with a different couple. When my brother asked for the drink, he said that it was his duty to ask everyone for their ID & did not ask the next person in line. With that being said, others who helped with the happy hour were very friendly.
- 4/5
I’ll definitely try staying with them again, I doubt every location will have these specific downsides; most other hotels have parking included so I wonder if all Embassy Hotels charge for parking
- 5/5
I am very sick right now and I actually in Dallas to be put in the hospital and they were so good to me. They went above and beyond.
- 1/5
Booked the room for 2 nights and was told pool would be out of services for the 2 night I was there with my family, my kids 7, 6 were looking into the pool and no apology or offered to cancel without being charged a 1 night stay,
- 2/5
stayed for two nights first night plumbing backed up in room and no maintenance available to fix till in the morning. Management moved us into another room that night. went around town the next day and was locked out of our room and it took almost an hour for them to get us back into a dirty room. this was not the embassy hotel we were use too. very disappointed.
- 4/5
Staff was amazing, the environment was fun, breakfast was great…one elevator was down, getting up/down took an extremely long time. Housekeeping did an okay job. I didn’t like the parking, but not a bad stay overall. I’ll circle back to the staff again, they we phenomenal
- 1/5
We had a simple question about extending our stay by one additional night and wanted to confirm that we could remain in the same room. When we asked to speak with the manager, the front desk employee told us he was the General Manager. Instead of assisting us professionally, he abruptly walked away in the middle of the conversation, headed to his office, and slammed the door. The interaction felt unnecessarily disrespectful and unprofessional. We weren’t making an unreasonable request—we were simply asking about extending our reservation. Customer service, especially from someone in a management position, should be courteous and respectful, even when the answer isn’t what a guest hopes to hear. I hope the hotel addresses this issue and provides additional customer service and conflict-resolution training for its management team, as no guest should be treated this way.

AC was not to good at keeping the room cold and the elevator was a big inconvenience. The bar closes to early at 12pm.

- 3/5
Breakfast was good. Didn’t care for the meats so much. This place was a bit of a bummer. We booked because it had a pool but the pool was closed which completely changed the ability for my kids to stay with us there as they would have something to do while we were working. The lady at the front was friendly and helpful even though she charged us 60 for parking. Expedia showed it was included, however management was extremely friendly and didn’t hesitate to refund me asap. There was a man at the front that was about useless, we needed a trolley upon arrival and he had a tude and didn’t help locate a trolley while the girl tried her best. Never got one so it took multiple trips. The bar was good and the bartender was great. Now the worst part, Friday night for lack of better words was anything but classy. The patrons that showed up in flocks smelled of weed through out the garage and hotel. You couldn’t escape it, fair warning to all readers.
- 3/5
The air conditioning never seem to cool the room.. thank goodness we had brought personal fans

The hotel was accommodating and affordable for an Embassy Suites. My family enjoyed the breakfast and the hotel amenities.

I booked this hotel for a family trip to Dallas for the weekend. We have stayed at many Hilton hotels, thats all I book. Our families experience here was terrible. It started with the parking, the parking garage was not secured at all, no cameras and there was exposed, low hanging electrical wires and pipes that could cause issues if you werent avoiding those areas. Parking fee was charged for this. We get into the hotel and half of the elevators were not working so it took about 10-20 minutes to wait on the elevator each time. The toilet was not flushing. One of the reasons I booked this hotel was for the pool, we got there and the pool was closed. We then paid to go to a different pool somewhere else and when we got back to take showers. We had NO COLD WATER. The water was extremely hot, too hot to shower. We had dinner reservations that we had to cancel. We complained to the manager and staff. They sent maintenance who then tried to tell us that thats just how the city water is. So the whole city of Dallas has no cold water? He also tried to say that because its so hot outside the ground temperature is hot and heating the pipes and water. Excuse me? If the ground temperature is that hot, the population of Dallas would be dead because it would be over 200 degrees outside. Made absolutely no sense. We had to find another hotel that night. Highly unsatisfied with this rundown, dysfunctional hotel.
- 4/5
The staff was nice. The overall stay was great, and the rooms were clean, but I could not take advantage of the pool because it was in maintenance during my entire stay.
- 2/5
Nice and neat encironment, but their staff are unprofessional, rude, and naughty
- 5/5
This Embassy Suites is definitely past its prime, however, it is well maintained, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The staff was helpful, and the breakfast outstanding. This was a great bargain.
- 2/5
This property is not what I remember back 19 years ago. Family is rundown, rooms very poor maintained. Elevators and palling lot had a lot water in the floor. Staff very rude. Breakfast from 1-10, a 2. It is embarrassing the breakfast and the receptions, as I mentioned. It what I remember the Hilton quality. I would say, guests will be happier with no bfast or evening reception. Not staying here again.
- 2/5
The staff were top notch! The hotel is very old (outdated) it needs to be remolded entire face lift. Of course the reason I choose Embassy is because of the indoor pool 🏊♀️ and if course it is was closed.. I had an issue met with the manager said he would get back to me never did.
- 5/5
Clean and good
- 2/5
Skip it! Pool is ice cold, only open on the weekends, place reaked of wrrd everywhere u went. Staff were hateful and no help. Beds were horrible, ac didn't work, stays Thursday and Friday. Tried to get a different room for Friday sense the ac wasn't working and they refused, they were no where near full so I don't know why. Tried to just get a refund for the night at 930 am and again was refused. Said a manager would call me to discuss the issue and its now Tuesday and have not heard a word! I have lots to say about the whole place but lll just say I would not reccomend! I font very lav a bad review but the whole stay as absolutely horrible! Save your money
- 5/5
This entire experience was awesome! We really enjoyed it!
- 5/5
This is a top notch hotel. There is a guard at the gate. The vies are heavenly. Everything is safe and beautiful. The pool outside is amazing. The spa is a very relaxing place to get a massage. The food is out of this world with several restaurants available. I don’t think you can find a better hotel in Bali.
- 2/5
This Embassy Suites property has not been well maintained. The ceiling in the atrium has multiple leaks and our elevator was inoperable. Additionally, a new $20/day parking fee was not disclosed until I checked into the hotel. I consider this to be a dishonest business practice! I will not be returning to this property in the future!
- 5/5
- 2/5
Luggage carts were tiny and long waits at the elevators. Parking situation not great and the toilet kept messing up.
- 5/5
The room was nice and cozy, clean, and nice. Beds were comfy, staff was helpful and friendly. Nice hotel has underground parking which has the elevators can take you directly to your floor as long as you have a room key. Overall a good stay
- 5/5
This place was way better than I expected. Super clean. Very accessible parking garage and one of the 4 elevators will for sure take you super close to your room. They have amazing amenities. 2 free alcoholic drinks and a snack bar!
- 5/5

Johnny at check in was great! Very kind and caring. The property could use some upgrades. The restaurant food was good but on the cold side. The rooms were very clean but the hotel itself felt old.
- 5/5
We love staying at this location for the convenience, hospitality and quality of the room.
- 4/5
.
- 5/5
Staff was helpful and professional. Breakfast was not the quality you typically find at Embassy Suites but it was still decent. Room was clean, not perfect but had comfy beds. Parking was a little strange, pipes were leaking from overhead but it wasn’t full of cars so no big deal to have a dry spot.
- 3/5
air conditioner didnt work and phones didnt work to call front desk
- 5/5
Muy bien todo.
- 4/5
This hotel is very nice and you can tell they keep up with it. Staff was nice and breakfast was good. My only complaint is the fire alarm kept malfunctioning and woke us up multiple times throughout the night. They seemed to have gotten it fixed but it was frustrating. However, I would definitely stay here again because the positives outweighs the negatives!
- 3/5
The location is great. Price was good. We stayed in early May and the central boiler was already turned off. There were some chilly nights in the 40-50s. Brrrr Breakfast was great. Happy Hour was weird as the bartender said he was not allowed to give one person more than one drink. I had to go to the bar to get my own because he would not give it to my husband. Snacks were good. I would probably not stay here again.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great! Room was very clean
- 4/5
We did a quick 2 day visit to Dallas....I booked the hotel before looking at reviews and was a little scared to go after reading them. But it wasn't as bad as the reviews said.....now the hotel IS OLD and in need of an upkeep! It smells like old carpet in some spots....but that was my only complaint. The room was nice and clean and the Happy Hour they give everyday from 530-7pm was so nice. Its in a good area and honestly I would stay there again.
