The TV was awful, it seemed like it was going out, it was so dark you couldn't see it, had to shut off all of the lights to see anything.. I tell the lady at the front desk when I was checking out that I think that it needs to be replaced.. she said she will have someone look at it. Other than that everything was nice.. we were in route 502

Our original room had ants in the bed. When we called the desk, they upgraded our room but the guy seemed genuinely mad about it. The bed was comfortable and the suite was very nice but that guy kind of ruined it. Its not our fault there were ants in the bed.

Convenient location. I booked the hotel. They’re Booking.com and thought I had paid for everything. Once I got there, they charged multiple other fees that were not disclosed in the initial booking of the hotel. The sheets were also not clean, the TV in the room did not work, and the AC unit was incredibly loud.

The best place I've EVER stayed. 10 out 10 for breakfast, bed, shower, cleaniless, staff, parking, location, etc.

this is a great value for the cost. Full kitchen was a convenient bonus.

Pool was great and not many people take advantage of it. Right next to Dallas Theological Seminary.

Room was a bit small for 4 people but it was very nice. Also the breakfast was a bit underwhelming.

I liked the gym and downstairs lobby was well put together I had to move rooms twice. I booked an Executive Suite, which I know is a limited room type. The first room had heavily stained sofa bed cushions and a very dirty mattress. Neither TV worked with the streaming option, and the soap holder in the shower broke as soon as I placed a bar of soap in it. The shower itself was also dirty. When I went downstairs, the lobby associate claimed there was nothing she could do except downgrade us to a smaller room because another Executive Suite was unavailable. It was only after I pushed back that they magically 'found' another suite. However, the second room was just as bad. The wall outlets didn't work, preventing us from charging our devices or allowing my wife to blow-dry her hair. The sofa bed mattress was filthy here as well, and the TVs could not connect to the internet, leaving us with no way to watch anything. Finally, I requested towels through the Marriott Bonvoy app at 7:45 AM on Thursday. Despite multiple app requests and phone calls downstairs, we didn't receive any until around 10:30 AM—and that was only because we walked the hallways to track down a housekeeper ourselves. This was by far the worst Marriott stay I’ve ever experienced.

He had to leave his belongings in his car while traveling around Dallas all evening due to this. Then around 10 PM the change rolled into their system and he was able to check in. But from 4 PM until 10 PM he wasn’t able to get into a room he’d paid for, ridiculous!
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and place was very clean. Only thing I would complain about is the water could be a little hotter
- 3/5
Walked into room with all the drawers & refrigerator open. There was a broken piece of metal just hanging out in the shower
- 5/5
Amazing room and the service was great! They really make sure to take care of you. I asked for extra pillows and they delivered. Wonderful staff as well.

everything is like a spa experience especially the bath products. the rooms are cozy and just big enough. I like that you have to have your key card to get beyond the first floor. the price of the rooms had gone up a little bit. and the hallway where our room was located was hot like the air conditioner was broken.

The breakfast buffet is fresh and has something for anyone. There is also a pool and weight room we didn’t use but they appear to be nice. They also host a wine happy hour. Though I wasn’t able to attend it appeared to be a nice, comfortable setting.
- 5/5
We really did not use any of the extras. Check in was quick and easy. The room was very surprising. Very spacious, full-size refrigerator, two burner cook top, a few dishes, could have stayed there a whole week comfortably and not had to go out for every meal. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who would like to stay in Dallas.

DO NOT BOOK WITH EXPEDIA!!!! Stayed at Element 2 nights, no hot water either night. Informed at check out and was told to contact manager. Emailed manager, told me because I booked with a "3rd party" site he could not help with rate adjustment. Contacted Expedia, they informed me that they could not reach hotel and could not help with refund unless manager approves it. Seems like everyone is pointing fingers at the other. I have booked multiple times with Expedia, this will be my last!

Great downtown location, close to parkways/tollways, fantastic breakfast, happy hour drinks and small bites, good gym equipment, room temperature controls worked great, good water pressure in the shower and full kitchen, comfortable beds and pillows. Definitely would stay again.

It was a quick stay for me . We went to a concert got to room checked in went to bed and left at 0600. Everything was super clean and comfortable.

well done a nice place to stay for business or family
- 5/5
Great room and comfy bed. Nice choice at breakfast
- 5/5
Great breakfast
- 5/5
The bed is on the firm side but minus that, staff was very kind and their breakfast has a little bit of everything to ease picky eaters.
- 5/5
Very convenient to Baylor Heart hospital and the staff can call a Baylor shuttle. There are a few fast food type restaurants around the block. The breakfast was typical but in a light and bright spot. The water temperature was not hot but the eletrition tested temp then moved our room. Staff very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Amazing. Used all amenities from breakfast yo pool area to rooftop evening chat to gym before checking out. Absolutely would recommend. There's even a Starbucks within walking distance!

Hotel staff were very kind and Our room was clean and comfortable. Their breakfast had a lot of variety and everything was fresh and quite tasty!

Room was fine. Staff was great. Breakfast was average.

We stayed in room 718 from the dates of February 28th thru March 2nd. The first thing we had to deal with was moving the coffee machine to a place that actually had a plug. My husband and I each had a coffee the next morning. However, the coffee pods were never replaced for the next morning! This practice seems to be pretty standard in every hotel so I didn’t understand why we didn’t get replacement coffee pods every morning. The one time the housekeeper came in, she made our bed by leaving the top sheet, crumpled up and just pulling the bedspread up over the crumpled up sheet. We also had empty coffee cups and various other items of trash sitting on the counter and it stayed there the entire time we stayed at the hotel. I would think that trash would be cleaned out out of the room at every Housekeeper visit. My husband stated that one of the reasons he likes to stay at the element was the breakfast. He relayed to me that the breakfast has gone downhill. The other issue I have was being charged $20 a night for parking!!! I think that that is an exorbitant amount for parking and we will be finding other accommodations from now on. The only plus that we could think of was that the second night we were there, we were able to park our electric truck in the one spot for non-Tesla cars, and have it charged overnight. However, after that one charge, there was the same vehicle, parked there all day and night that we were there blocking access for anyone else wanting to charge.

This property is clean and in a great location, a mile away from downtown and walking distance to Deep Ellum

Customer service horrible

Perfect location! Easy walking distance for meals. Easy access to Aldi grocery store. Safe. Fantastic giant, cold, and refreshing water in lobby loaded with fresh cut fruit that alternated daily. The complimentary breakfast was the best! The yogurt bar at breakfast was phenomenal. Staff was supportive and kind. I loved swimming in the indoor swimming pool. I strongly recommend! I would love to return!!!
- 5/5
I absolutely loved my stay here! Nothing to complain about. Our stay went so smoothly and great. The room was perfect, water in the shower was hot and everything worked well. Kitchen was fully equipped and the water in the sink was filtered, so that’s a great plus. Only issue we had was with the microwave and safe, but went to the front desk to report it and they immediately came to fix it. All staff is absolutely charming, welcoming and helpful. Loved our stay at Element!
- 5/5
It was was absolutely amazing fresh and had a huge variety to shut anyone's diet
- 5/5
Clean room, loved the set up!

Cold indoor pool where you couldn’t even swim in. I specifically searched to book an indoor pool because of unpredictable January weather. It was activity to keep my 12 year old occupied in down time. It was advertised as heated on app and even on the welcome tv inside the room. Front desk said it wasn’t heated and was not advertised as such. I went back and double checked, and indeed it was advertised as heated. The quality of the breakfast was not good, that my 12 year old didn’t care for watery scrambled eggs. Then, I was charged $20/night for parking in an unsecured lot. Do not think I will be staying here again

Very clean and quiet! Super friendly staff!

Small but cozy room, great location
- 5/5
They accommodated my booking error. I had to bring my mother to the ER @ Baylor Scott White . I needed the room for Wednesday- Thursday but messed up and booked Thursday-Friday. Twenty minutes after booking, I realized my error. I was told that I would have to pay for both nights, due to it being a non-refundable, non-changeable reservation. The front desk manager was sympathetic and accommodated my needs. Much appreciated!!!!!!
- 3/5
It was very clean, but i am tall and handicapped room was dedigned for someone in wheelchair. Bathroom was good, shower was easy yo use and very safe.
- 5/5
Great location, good breakfast and real friendly staff
- 3/5
The staff was courteous. I was disappointed that room coffee only had one pod of caffeinated (only makes one cup) and two decaf - we asked to swap for caffeinated and they said we had to wait for breakfast the following day. (??) also, parking is $20 automatically billed to your room which I knew but seriously a the lot empty, plenty of space for your guests and not attended so why am I paying for parking at all?

- 5/5
Very nice hotel, enjoyed the breakfast
- 4/5
Had problems with the shower. Low pressure and poor temperature control. Free breakfast was “ok”. Same choices for three days.
- 5/5
this is a good hotel if you are needing something next to Baylor Med hospital. It is a little expensive and they charge for parking in a normal parking lot next to the hotel. The free breakfast was excellent however. When I checked in there was no remote for the tv. The next day I asked again and they stated they would bring one while I was at the hospital. They never did. Not a huge issue but they need to pay attention to small things like that.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good with lots of options. Security of the parking lot was great and the security was consistently patrolling. Everyone was friendly. The elevator maybe requires a key to go up and after 11 you need a key card to enter. These are seemingly obvious things but would have been nice if it was mentioned at check in. Some of the pillows are also a bit flat. Overall we had a great stay.
- 4/5
This is a very nice property
- 1/5
Staff was horrible and lacked knowledge. The area is full of homeless wandering around and there is not adequate security to insure guest's safety.
- 5/5
Awesome experience.
- 2/5
Hotel looks nice on the surface, check in staff was a bit rude, breakfast staff had a bad attitude, walls are paper thin and you can hear everything going on around you, shower gets lukewarm at best, parking lot is paid but not protected and there were a couple pretty sketchy people walking through.
- 4/5
clean facility, maintenance items needed looked at-lighting
- 5/5
This is our all time favorite place to stay!! The staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms are amazing!
- 4/5
Staff is trying to please and help. The hotel is well kept but ia dated

Staff was nice, and room was very clean.

Had a wonderful experience. Breakfast was great.

From the outset, it was clear that this property lacks the refinement and attention to detail that one expects from a Westin. While the pricing remains consistent with Westin’s premium positioning, the execution feels more budget-conscious than brand-consistent. The accommodations were underwhelming—despite requesting a king-size bed, I was placed in a cramped room with two smaller beds. This not only diminished comfort but also contributed to a sense of disorganization. The in-room amenities further reinforced this disparity. The absence of basic features such as blackout curtains, combined with subpar shower products, gave the impression of cost-cutting rather than comfort. These elements, while small individually, collectively undermine the guest experience and do not reflect the quality and care associated with the Westin name. Overall, Element by Westin feels like a concept that relies heavily on brand recognition without delivering the substance behind it. The label might say Westin, but the experience does not. For the price point, guests are right to expect more in terms of comfort, quality, and attention to detail.

Great location to Baylor Scott White medical center!

Its location is close to downtown without all the traffic plenty of parking and really clean

The best place to stay near the hospitals. Super staff!

Excellent hotel stay ! Easy check in , comfortable bed, clean room, great stay !!
- 5/5
Our stay was great. Friendly staff, clean rooms with a beautiful view of the sky lines. Stayed here to attend a Mavericks basketball game. Would consider staying here again. There is only one thing we were not satisfied with. We were looking forward to the indoor pool. My husband and daughter went in and quickly got out. Water was freezing. We figured the pool was heated or at least warm. A hot tub or heated pool would have made the stay a 10.
- 1/5
Did not enjoy my stay. The website states heated indoor pool and it wasn’t heated and it was too cold to get into too, also the showers have a metal tray over drain so the dripping sound was annoying. Do not recommend staying!

Our first stay at Element and it was the perfect choice. Facility was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Finishes were modern and asthetically very pleasing.
- 3/5
Check-in person listless, didn't disclose several factors to us. Shower very attractive, but it took more than one minute to adjust water temperature; not at all good. Room temperature difficult to control. Hotel now charges $15 per day for parking. We like location, proximity to downtown, but in future we'll likely stay away.
- 5/5
Warm and comfortable, just so convenient when family are in the hospital 2 minutes away!
- 5/5
Excellent stay, our new favorite repeat place to stay!
- 5/5
Loved our stay
- 5/5
The hotel is excellent. The breakfast is above par, but the area is a little shady. Other than that this is the place to be.
- 3/5
will not stay at element ever again .great service staff clean really nice but being woken up every15 to 30 minutes is not condusive with a place id stay agian thank-you
- 3/5
My room was nice. The location is nice, close to freeways and downtown. I was disappointed in the water pressure of my shower and other things in the bathroom. The parking was ok at $15 a day. The checkout time is noon, yet the cleaning folks knocked on my door at 11am. Over all it was okay.
- 5/5
The Element was very affordable for that area. The rooms were clean but if you took part in the breakfast, that was not. Tables were not cleaned and dirty dishes stacked in the corner. I thought looking at the map that eating establishments were in walking distance but after viewing are area felt it was unsafe to walk.
