Reviews
The hotel reviews are mixed, with guests expressing dissatisfaction with the cleanliness, maintenance, and amenities of the rooms. However, the location and staff are frequently praised. The hotel appears to be in need of renovation and better housekeeping practices.
- Convenient location
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Poor cleanliness and maintenance
- Outdated rooms and amenities

It was a good visit. No problems
- 5/5
The room was very clean very spacious for all my guests and the front staff was excellent breakfast was awesome
- 5/5
Nice large room on the first floor which made it easier for us to get around. This is our third trip using this hotel as our home base to the activities we do in. Dallas.
- 3/5
The check in person was very kind. The room while s good size, had a number of issues. The tile floor was lovely until damaged and improper repair attempts were made. A lipstick was found on the bathroom floor of my " clean" room. Damage to the walls was painted not repaired. The pool was clean, maintained and available for reasonable hours. There was no hot or boiling water available for tea, as I am allergic to coffee. When breakfast hours were done, the attendant turned the TV off to encourage people to leave. Breakfast was not well stocked and the attendant was heard and seen on her phone speaking to someone while on shift. The check out gentleman was dismissive, unhelpful and went out of his way not to answer my query. I won't stay here again and would not recommend this property.

Will book again

- 3/5
This property needs updating badly
- 5/5
Very helpful staff
- 5/5
Great location .. use for sleep
- 3/5
The facility needs some attention to detail. Our shower was dirty and tiles were loose on the bathroom floor. There’s not enough lighting in the room. The elevators were concerning. I had an experience of the door trying to open between floors. This place needs a little love….
- 1/5
The card key barely worked the elevator made weird sounds the hall was warm the lwhen changed. The ice machine was to on the top floor. Instead of. on ever foor.inen was half. dirty.a little bit noisey.in hall ways .all in all was not not a pleasant visit .wouldn't recommend

Freeway noise well its by the Freeway. Clean nice hotel.
- 4/5
Central to the hospitals. Stores very nearby. Clean and quiet.
- 4/5
everything was as expected, clean room, breakfast was fair. satisfied with stay.
- 5/5
Some of the inside doors to rooms needed attention. Several doors appeared to look like someone had tried to pry them open with screwdrivers; however, the doors were very thick and strong and the extra locking mechanisms inside the room were excellent. I would stay here again.
- 2/5
Nono toilet paper
- 2/5
It’s okay not the best we didn’t have any toilet paper in the room and when I called I had to go pick it m
- 5/5
This hotel is just a short drive from the UT Southwestern Medical Center. My spouse was having a procedure done there which required our overnight stay. We were able to get a good rest and have a good breakfast before going over to the hospital. We have stayed here a couple of times before and we’ve always had a restful stay. We recommend this location for all reasons, especially if you’re planning a trip to downtown Dallas.
- 3/5
Okay

Nothing I am handicapped and the seat to get into the pool was broke so I could not enter into the pool and then whenever someone went to grab the railing to get into the swimming pool on the steps, the rail moved thank God I didn’t try to get in the pool was hot. There was air-conditioning, but there was no air conditioner on. We had to open the door just to get airflow. It was like a sauna in there. It was nasty. Even the ladder was not attached to the wall when you get in and out of the pole at the deeper end and then to top it off several cars got robbed that night Saturday night, and we will never probably use this hotel again. And our bed was nasty. Had a little spots of something in it. I hope and pray to God they weren’t bedbugs.
- 4.5/5
Lots of room to move around in your room. Staff was pleasant and helpful when needed. The breakfast was very good. Beds could be a little softer.
- 2/5
Place a little run down not bad 3 cars got broken into while everyone slept
- 3.5/5
Bed sheets/covers weren’t fully clean, Some of the wash rags weren’t clean, the layout of the room was a little weird.
- 5/5
Good place for the money
- 3/5
Cons: There was an unpleasant smell in each of the elevators and the hall going to them, construction was causing traffic and loud sounds, and my room key stopped working on three separate occasions, requiring it to be reissued each time. The first employee who assisted me was very nice. However, the second employee implied that the issue was my fault because I had kept my key next to my debit card. I explained that while that may have been the case that time, the first two incidents were different. On one occasion, the key was in a separate pocket of my purse, nowhere near any of my cards. The second time, the key had just been reissued and was literally in my hand when it stopped working. I did not appreciate being blamed for an issue that clearly was not caused by how I stored the key.
- 2.5/5
Didn't not like.
- 4/5
Location is convenient Pillow case smelled
- 3/5
The hot tub did not work and pool needed some TLC
- 3/5
It’s close to American Airline stadium without breaking the bank. The walls are thin so your a light sleeper find a different place. Room is spacious but everything is outdated.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 4/5
Location to the dr appointment It was all great until we showered the next morning. There was literally water everywhere. I saw other reviews that mentioned it as well. I really hope you get it fixed!!
- 4.5/5
Convenient location to Airport.
- 4/5
The property was in good condition.
- 3/5
Staff is wonderful but the hotel is surrounded by liquor stores, everything is aged, I struggled to get enough water in the shower to bathe. The room was very humid (hello head full of curly hair waking up), and there was a hint of smoking in the room previously. If a budget stay is your priority this location works but one night was fortunately the length of my stay.
- 4.5/5
Location Television channels
- 2/5
The door to our rooms were broken. You had to push very hard for them both to open. They were practically jammed. It was sooooo noisy at night. So noisy with guests partying or simply yellow between night and morning. The area is a bit sketchy. And I wish they at least had water in the rooms but they didn’t. The water they do provide was finished. It’s clear this particular property needs more attention
- 2/5
Glad All I had to do was sleep there.
- 4/5
Clean rooms, nice staff, weird location but not the worst.
- 2/5
The hotel is run down and had a very odd wet/mildew/electrical burning smell. They had doors open with fans near electrical/maybe HVAC units with fans on them. The beds and pillows were terrible. Staff was okay nothing bad but nothing good.
- 3/5
Very loud traffic at night.
- 3/5
The staff was nice and helpful. The bed was hard and the tiling on the floor was broken, cracked so it wobbly when you walked across it. There was a lot of NOISE from other guests during the night and nothing was done about it. Probably would not stay again.
- 1/5
When given the option to “PAY AT PROPERTY” I expect to pay ALL fees when I get to the location. You allowed the hotel to pull 140.00 authorization fees 2day before arrival to the location. This action defeats the purpose of selecting the option to pay at property!!
- 4.5/5
I liked the breakfast selections and the eating area was well kept. There were friendly faces at the front desk and were very helpful
- 5/5
Clean & ac was perfect
- 5/5
Perfect
- 4/5
hotel was nice. just need some minor updates like paint.
- 1/5
Hot tub was out of order its was Waterbugs everywhere room was dirty just a horrible experience
- 3/5
The area was OK not as well as they advertised it to be. The Hotel smelled like chemical smells in hallway on the first floor. Coffee in area in foyer was cold. ROOM: light bulbs missing in lamps, no hot water in bathroom sink, toilet ran, shower connections were failing. Called to ask for extra pillows, they said they didn't have any. Wouldn't provide me a receipt due to 3rd party booking but did collect $100 deposit on my credit card. Was painting but no wet paint posted. BREAKFAST: Not a good variety to choose from. Man working sneezed in his hands and then touched waffle maker. No hot water for tea had to ask for it.
- 2/5
In my room you definitely had to wear shoes the floor tile was so cracked up and uneven it would easily cut your feet.
- 2/5
The hotel smelled, it didn't feel clean and the hot tub was broken which is one reason I chose the hotel. Disappointed over all
- 4/5
Air conditioner in the room was broken and blew 100% cold air all day and night. None of the buttons worked, so I couldn't turn it down or off. We asked to have our room cleaned and, when we returned, the towels were gone and the bed had been stripped. We found a cleaning lady in the hall, and she handed us some towels, a fitted sheet and two flat sheets. First time in my life I have even had to make my own bed in a hotel!
- 5/5
The room was clean and had all the amenities as described. The check-in process was very quick, and I was in the room within minutes. The hotel is conveniently located a short distance from Dallas Love Field airport, which was important to my selecting this hotel. There is a gas station and a Subway sandwich place next door, which came in handy to fill up my rental before returning it at the airport. The room was very quiet, and I had a good night's sleep.
- 3/5
Convenient location to medical center
- 3/5
Some remodel in the room. The bathtub definitely needed an update. The hallways did not smell good at all. Breakfast was small and good.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 2/5
The pictures were very deceitful and the staff was not helpful the hotel is very run down and not well kept
- 3/5
This is one of the hotel experiences that I almost said “just keep the money” We had traveled and just needed a resting spot. The reviews were good, but very misleading. The smell made me sick. Something about using household cleaning supplies in a business establishment. It doesn’t mix. Coffee dispenser not kept I. The lobby area. Droppings all over the table. No thank you! Fingerprints for days all over the elevator door (at check in) checkout was 4 hours ago. Towels tied around doors (not sure what that was about and the nastiest to me was soap scum from previous guest soap in the shower (pink soap). This place was not for me. The air conditioning worked amazing, great shower as far as water pressure and hotness. Breakfast was provided. It looked good and looked well stocked. Good coffee (from complimentary breakfast)and juice.
- 3/5
The property is clearly dated and in need of TLC. Only 1 person on duty to response was slow but understandable. Price is okay because of the location; breakfast was limited, few healthy options but otherwise nice.
- 3/5
We did not eat breakfast. However there was mold in the bathtub, the shower head definitely needed to be replaced. The bed was not comfortable at all. And the A/C unit smelt like mold! I kept sneezing like crazy. Will definitely not be back.
- 4/5
ok but not luxury just basic
- 0.5/5
Unfortunately I have no positive feedback here. I am extremely disappointed considering the price I paid for the room. Hadn’t been on a vacation in 2 years, was looking forward to the stay and I regret my choice big time. I decided on this hotel based on ratings on Booking.com. They did not match my experience in the slightest. First off, the lady at the check in counter was not friendly at all. The doors on the rooms are all scraped up. The room was not as clean as I would have expected. The bathroom especially, it looked like there was a bad paint and caulking job. The bathroom door lock was broken too. Something in there made us all sneeze constantly. Sink would drain slowly. Low water in the toilet. Slow and half *ss cleaning service. The pool and hot tub looks nothing like the picture. Plus the hot tub didn’t function either. Save your hard earned money for another spot. I paid over 500 bucks for a place that I can’t even say was mediocre, was way below that. Plus the location doesn’t feel safe either. There is a liquor store right next to it. Also the window had
- 3/5
Normal stuff like refill soap, hand sanitizer, paper towels and toilet paper needed to be refilled and wasn't for days
- 1/5
The only thing that I liked about the hotel was the location of the hotel. The location was in a busy highway so it was close to a lot of things especially downtown. I didn’t like that it wasn’t up-to-date. It was very nasty like the colors of the walls were scratched off. It was made in a cheap wood design. The doors didn’t really close all the way you had to literally forced it close hard. I had to give my key reprogrammed and mind you, I am 30 minutes late from a concert because of this key that I had to get reprogrammed and I’m calling front desk no one at front desk and luckily I caught a maintenance man walking around and ask him for help on the bathroom wasn’t clean and it’s just like when I told him that it wasn’t clean. It just was like OK and they didn’t give me enough towels for my stay either.
- 4/5
The air conditioner rocked. The dirty moldy bathroom and tile was disgusting. Only 1 of the 2 beds were changed and made. Coffee wasn't replaced along with the cups. Old coffee cups were not taken and trash was not emptied.
- 4/5
It's an older property but very clean with all the basics.
- 4/5
Business center
- 4/5
Only complaint was against another guest who was mistreating his service dog and reached into the food with his bare hands inside of using the tongs
- 5/5
Very clean property. Night time staffing definitely better than day. I had issues with my room key and when I asked for new key then never asked name or verification for my room just went off my word. That I did not like. Other than that room was nice and clean.
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
When was the along with Sheets
- 4/5
Close to my hospital, food and gas stations.
- 2/5
The phone in room didn’t work try to call front desk went to talk to the receptionist there and was ask do you really need a phone I said it would have been nice so I wouldn’t have to come down here and her reply was maintenance is not here today… and I told her that the tv channel that has movies playing we couldn’t see the picture but was just audio she said you have to push input button and if you can’t fix I come up there . So we just didn’t bother pressing the issue.
- 1/5
Terrible, Clerk was rude , Parking was terrible, next to a gas station... Alot of homeless hanging around.. Drug and everything else... Not a safe area...
- 4.5/5
Juices was nice as I am tube feed so wasn’t able to enjoy the breakfast but smelled nice Pillows very firm
- 2/5
After calling the hotel to find out more about it, I booked it for a night stay in Dallas. I drove up to the hotel with flashing lights cop cars in the parking lot. I checked in and on my way up the elevator, got stuck in there for a few minutes because the door would get caught on itself when the doors were trying to open. I was able to get to my room, and the key reader on the door would not work
- 5/5
Everything was fine. It was a quick overnight. Stay from my grandson to have a surgery this morning and we got in and got out. All was good. Would stay there again.
- 4/5
The location is very convenient to the UTSW medical complex.
- 2.5/5
Close to UTSW The bathroom floor was very slick & water from the shower went all the way to the door of the room
- 4/5
Clean room! a/c worked well and breakfast wasn't too bad
- 3/5
Hotel is decent, pool is fine, hot tub DOESNT work, we walked onto the 4th floor and it smelled heavily of weed. Bedroom was clean. Staff was ok, but usually busy being loud chatting to each other. But the beds are comfortable and clean.
- 2/5
Place smelled and the toilet splashes water upwards a lot when flushing.
- 4/5
Our room needs some renovation. It was a handicap room even though We didn’t ask for one. The water from the shower ran every where. Our room needs renovation. It was a handicap room even though We didn’t ask for one. The water from the shower ran every where. At breakfast there was a Man with a shaggy dog by the eggs…hate animals inside the house…especially in the breakfast area.? Lots of homeless and druggies? in the area.
- 1/5
Staff was rude and not willing to assist with any issues. Door was busted to where you could see to the hallway. AC does work well
- 4.5/5
The location and the value. Our room needs some repairs, mostly in the bathroom.
- 4/5
Nothing fancy, but good for the price. Bathroom and room were a bit dated, and the room felt a little humid. AC was kind of either freezing or not on, despite me adjusting the thermostat. But I’m a simple man, it was fine.
- 3/5
good. little more variety in breakfast
- 1/5
The room was filthy, all the cabinets were sticky and had visible splash stains, the walls were dirty with something brown, the pool was unkept and area around full of mold, hot tub was broken, couldn’t get more than 2 towels, and it’s in a very ghetto area. Stay anywhere but here!!!!!
- 3/5
Location is great but overall this hotel could use some updates for sure - rooms were fine but “muggy” is the word I’d use to describe it all. Was fine for a short weekend trip
- 5/5
Good breakfast.
- 5/5
Great stay.
- 3/5
Poorly up kept took several minutes to get in room each time poor maintained dirty hallways
- 2/5
We walk in and went back out.
- 3/5
Buget price services and property all align together
- 1/5
We rented two rooms from them and were traveling with children. One of the rooms lacked a security latch on the door, and the place was dirty and infested with cockroaches. We decided not to sleep there; however, the manager refused to refund our money. I find this completely unacceptable, as we didn't even spend five minutes in that hotel—and despite Expedia speaking with him on multiple occasions, he still refused to issue a refund.😡
- 4/5
Great place for a short/weekend stay. Front desk was very helpful
- 2/5
There was a cockroach in the lobby. The waffle maker was broken. The luggage cart was broken. The pool wasn’t well lit and not maintained. The TV remote was broken and the tv was not a smart tv.
- 3/5
Things are well broken in, but most importantly comfortable bed. Slept well. Dark quiet room. Good water pressure 8-) Eggs were the only healthy breakfast option, but that is great for free!
- 5/5
Clean rooms, breakfast is good, location is convenient to go around the city.
- 4/5
The room was very comfortable, the staff was helpful and friendly
- 5/5
In good condition. Few homeless but nothing bad. Parked at front
- 4/5
Last time we stayed it was better when we stayed before the carpet was wet and the smell was a very STRONG cleaner. I should have went to the desk and ask for a different room, but I didn't. Next time I will because we did slip a couple times, thankfully neither of us fell.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent
- 3/5
Someone had vomited in the elevator (around 7am), and the front desk clerk was quick to find someone to clean it up. The only good thing was the shower pressure and how hot/warm the water got.
- 1/5
Our first room locked us out and new keys wouldn't open the door. We were moved to a different room eventually. The pool room was dark, and the hot tub was out of order. The carpets in the hallways were really stained, and lighting in the rooms was cold and blue (not very inviting). Road noise from outside was also very disruptive at night.
- 3/5
Did not eat
- 3/5
I picked this hotel because it wasn't far from downtown and it had a good price however near a liquor store and a gas station and it kind of feels like you're in skid row
- 2/5
Stains on mattress and sheets, tears in comforter and towels, cracks in tile, found gum stuck to the headboard and hair ties scattered throughout the room (like it hadn’t even been vacuumed), our door didn’t shut unless you shoulder checked it, bathroom door didn’t latch and the handle didn’t turn (so you just pushed the door open), we paid extra for a jacuzzi suite and the faucet was loose and swaying while it was filling (seemed like it might pop off at any moment), our front light switch was halfway hanging out of the wall. Parking was terrible and one night we had to park in the next door gas stations parking spots overnight and walk to the hotel. Smelled like weed every time we got in the elevator. Overall not the greatest especially for the price.
- 4/5
Breakfast
- 5/5
Very quiet and extremely comfortable bed so we were able to rest soundly.
- 5/5
Older but very clean and nice. Affordable and free breakfast. All around good choice.
- 5/5
Great location from highway. Property and room was clean.
- 5/5
I do not know, sleep during breakfast time.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
It was really good. We were close to everything we wanted to do so location was excellent. The breakfast wasn't great but good enough. Nice clean rooms and
- 4/5
Everything was good except I had to reserve 2 nights when I only needed one. Otherwise everything was good.
- 5/5
Overall, my stay at the hotel was good, and most things were fine. The staff was polite, and the room was comfortable. However, I stayed for 2 nights and requested for my room to be cleaned, but no one ever came to clean it. I also asked for extra clean towels, and the staff gave me a hard time before finally providing them. Aside from that, everything else was good, but I think housekeeping service and customer service for simple requests like clean towels should be improved.
