Was not expecting this bad. Worst place to stay. I would not recommend here for stay.

The best hotel near restourants

The front desk staff was very rude. When I asked about the safety of the area, the employee told me, “If you do not like it, leave the property.” This response was unprofessional and made me feel even more uncomfortable. I also noticed suspicious activity outside the property that made the location feel unsafe. The chair in the room was damaged, with the outer material peeling off. The bathroom was reasonably clean, but the soap provided had an unpleasant smell. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel based on the poor customer service, noise, room condition, and safety concerns.

But the worst was once I finally got in the room. The first thing I noticed was a tiny little insect crawling across the dresser, upon closer look they were crawling on EVERYTHING and more and more kept coming. I think they may have smelled me or the food I had brought. I dropped my key card on accident carrying so much stuff and after maybe 45 seconds in the room, I made the decision to leave. There were bugs everywhere, when I went to go pick my key card back up it had been swarmed with so many bugs that I could not even pick it up. I left it there. Now, when I went back down to the counter and informed the service agent, he did go up notate, take pictures and came back and tried to offer me a different room, I declined. He then said I would receive a full refund, including my $100 deposit after calling the manager who gets back in town in 2 days. I knew it was too late to find another room, I left knowing I would have to sleep in my car. Disgusting 0/10, don’t recommend!

The rooms were clean and bed was comfy! The water was extra hard and the toilet was low

Great value for money, decently maintained, helpful lady at the reception and housekeeping. It was an overnight stay on our road trip and we were pleasantly surprised with: good mattresses, clean room, everything worked, access controlled entrance doors, convenient parking. Moreover, we forgot an item and housekeeping staff brought it to the reception and they called us almost immediately. Will stay here again if passing through the area again.

Perfect location and very affordable N/a

The bathroom was a little dirty/ hair on the toilet and the shower was difficult to use. Water pressure was also terrible.

They need to keep renovations up. There is a mold smell in the vents. It was comfortable and location is great.

Found small cockroaches at the desk next to bedroom. Hair dryer doesn't work. Hotel staffs didn't clean the room.

It was supposed to be a $100 dollar deposit and we had to pay $200 and the front desk was arguing with me about something that they had clearly in black-and-white.. For the money that they is charging and they should have breakfast included

The staff checked my family and I quickly. The secured room area was clean and the room was cleaned and cool before we got there. Price was awesome as well!

The rooms are very nice, similar to Hampton Inn but usually much less costly.

I’ve stayed here many times. It’s not that impressive looking on the outside but the rooms are very nice, on par with Hampton Inns and usually at half the price. Very clean, good TV, mini fridge and microwave. Good beds and linen, work table and a comfortable leather type chair to sit in. Female desk staff are very good. Male desk staff are excellent.

The location was great. The bathroom had cracked floor tiles and the shower faucet was incredibly difficult to use. The tv didn’t work at all and no one from maintenance was available to repair.

No complaints!! Peaceful & clean stay

I always stay here whenever I visit Dallas. The location is convenient, and having an In-N-Out Burger right next door is one of the reasons I keep coming back.

The price was well. Employees at checkin were helpful and nice. Front parking made loading/unloading luggage nice. Bed was hard & uncomfortable. A roach was seen crawling across dresser. There were constant noises in hall, a tapping sound in room that would not stop, and alarm kept going off. When checking out, individuals were found pulling on my car door handles. THIS IS NOT PROPERTYS FAULT, but it is good information to know if staying here.. ensure all belongings are safe & vehicle is LOCKED.

Good hotel to book with when traveling or need extra nights

The grass wasn't trimmed enough.

When we first got to the hotel we noticed it was very outdated. Check-in was smooth. When we walked into the room there was a bug on my pillow and I threw it on the floor and left it there our whole 2 night stay. There were brown stains on the “fresh” towels that were given to us by a staff member. There was no breakfast option, everything felt dirty, and the parking lot was sketchy. There was also no breakfast available. There was a microwave in the room which was useful and a fridge that barely hot cold. Okay for a couple of nights, would not stay here again. There is also a huge blood-like stain behind the elevator door that you can see when it opens.

Was in Dallas for convention, stayed at convention most of the day both days. Room was clean, place was quiet, just what I wanted. Would stay again.

I would like to say that upon my arrival to check in the guy of the front desk was a bit rude when it came to splitting the payment up on the room charge, the switch of the room had roaches, and just really wasn’t up to par.

Super lowkey and pleasant stay, some interesting neighbors but also good conversation. No pets! Just keep that in mind and Dallas in general is not very pet friendly! Pool area so nice during this time of year (spring) but there is not hot tub and it is outside. Staff was direct and friendly also understanding and overall just a very straightforward and normal stay lots of space in the room not necessarily super fancy however!

The hallway and the rooms of the hotel smelled musty. Also the hotel is non-smoking, but you can tell people smoke marijuana in their rooms. The walls are very thin as I could hear the people next door very easily as their kid was screaming and they were talking loud until 2am. Thankfully I was able to switch rooms the next day.

No breakfast the whole hotel smelled like marijuana the morning I was getting ready to leave. My truck was broken into nothing was stolen because I walked out on them. They had security walking early in the morning did not have the abilities pull up the camera footage although they said they would email it to me when the supervisor got there. Seemed like people were living in it more like an apartment complex than a Hat hotel. The staff was very nice. The beds were very hard for the price reflects these stay cheap price for a cheap stay in a rough neighborhood

I travel to Texas frequently, this will be my go to hotel. Thanks for such a friendly stay!

Overall great experience little on the pricey end of choices I have to say one of the more quiet stays I ever had in a hotel it's nice to not hear every door open up in the hallway all night long didn't hear a single door nothing not sure what was going on up stairs periodically through out the night nothing to complain about if it was 25 dollars cheaper I'd never take my business anywhere else this would be my go to number 1 pick

Shower didn’t have running water. Room was supposed to be non-smoking and smelled heavily of cigarettes and marijuana.

Old property old rooms, weird smell so they put air freshener in room thy mix with funk and produce a new smell that is not pleasant. Rough area so not pay more than 100.. it’s a 50 Motel. It is the same as a Motel 6. Some Motel 6 are better. Go there only if you need to sleep and get up. Not for pleasure and relaxation

Everything were good, AC, Clean, quiet not too much noise, safe area, close to Dart train station, easy to get around.

Older motel type facilities. Very basic. Room seemed to be recently refreshed and was clean. The are is not great. A lot of homeless on Coit. I did experience any at the hotel but they are across the street. One banged on my door at the light at Coit. As a single woman traveling, I think this is important to know.

I ALWAYS enjoy my stay at The Alexis. My rooms are always clean and the staff is amazing.

First room shower drain wasn’t draining and kept filling up, and the TV would’t work. I was moved to a different room where they worked.

I found a dead roach in the bathroom. I am a night shift worker and the darker curtains wouldnt close so i could sleep properly during the day. Also on my last day, i woke up tith bed bug bites. Not staying here again

If I was just passing by, I might have confused this place for housing for the homeless. Online the place looked reasonable - I wasn’t expecting 4 or 5 star accommodations. Upon arrival, I was met with the smell of pot and bad decisions. Had to put $100 deposit on cash just to check in.

The room was also average & appeared to be clean. But, it was obvious much attention hasn’t gone into the upkeep. The thermostat was practically falling apart & we didn’t have a remote in our room to begin with. A few minor things but, worth mentioning nonetheless.
