AC Hotel by Marriott Dallas by the Galleria

The room was nice and the property itself was well-kept. However, the pull-out couch was horrible and the main bed was not much better. The bathroom looked nice, but the sliding barn door leaves a gap between the door and the wall— meaning if someone uses the toilet, all the smells drift directly into the bedroom.

Nice surprise in a central part of Dallas. Modern, nice rooms with sofa, fridge, towels, and toiletries. Close to the Galleria and other good restaurants if you aren’t driving. The parking is $26 per day, not expected. It’s confusing, but part of the hotel is a Residence Inn and the other half is AC. Overall, quiet and nice. Weird billing at the end, but it all worked out.

Very classy hotel, great European breakfast in which filled me up but not heavy on the stomach! I really enjoyed the pool and breakfast!

The property was wonderful and convenient to the Galleria and downtown. The hotel is a little confusing as it’s 2 hotels in one. We were never told about the breakfast and couldn’t find anything in our reservation. I will say when we walked by and saw some individuals eating, it looked very good. The room was very nice and clean! The staff was very friendly and helpful but I would suggest someone be at the desk all the time. There were times we went to the front desk and nobody was available

Customer service was top tier with the front staff check in. The rooms were clean. The amenities were nice. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel.

I would say that for the price I would have expected the room to have a microwave, or the laundry room use to be free or at least for there not to have been a parking fee. When I booked I was never told I would have to pay for these things. I stayed 9 nights and from the night I arrived the floor and room seemed very humid, my entire time there that never changed. Apart from the humidity, our room’s ac vent would make so much noise it was difficult to sleep and the air would blow straight on our faces and that was something we could not change. Last thing is we were getting extra charges from the first night there, at least $600 more from what we paid when we booked and when I would ask each person at the front desk would say something different as to why those charges where there even though I never asked for anything extra for my room. Only about a bit more than half of that money was returned. Overall I would say I would not stay there again.

The staff were so friendly: front desk supervisor, bartenders, housekeeping. The room felt genuinely clean, not just surface clean. The pool was nice/clean with towels available and plenty of seating. Would stay here again when returning to Dallas.

The floor was covered in condensation from front door to the back of room. With in 35 mins called the front desk to see if she could change the room she said no. I showed her my neck injuries and she didn’t care to put me in an Accessibility room. Stains or blood on the beds. Had to sleep on the pullout bed.

I like that how clean my room was and how well the hotel was maintained. The hotel was quiet.The staff was very friendly. There was on street parking for free and garage parking offered by the hotel for a fee. Would definitely stay again. The value was great. It checked all the boxes for me.

This pace was so damn quiet. It's close to everything. The neighborhood is great. It's $25 a night to park BUT STREET PARKING RIGHT OUT FRONT IS FREE.

Breakfast variety was not a big selection. Egg muffins had no taste and were cold, egg sandwiches also had no taste or seasoning. Pancakes were good. Potatoes were still hard. I honestly did not enjoy the food except the cereal and pancakes. We were excited about getting in the pool but the water was very very cold so could not enjoy that either. The hotel itself is very nice and clean though.

The people was rude the room the shower inside the room was broken also the TV was the fire alarm was going off all night 2-3 hours on Saturday night

Terrible staff attitude: not welcoming at all and was on a personal call during check in. Then there were the fire alarms that started at midnight and lasted past 2am. The beds are cardboard with a topper to make them seem plush but they are the worst cheap, back busting beds.

The property was very nice and inviting and smelt really good! The staff were helpful and I loved the bar area. My only suggestion would be to treat around the pool for small pests and insects. They were a little bothersome while tryna swim and relax in the chairs.

The location was great. The lady at the front desk had a horrible attitude during each interaction I had with her. Room service was late in the day which was inconvenient when returning to the room early in the day.

Stayed at AC for the last couple of days of Spring Break. Hotel is clean and has all the right amenities! Breakfast was not included in our stay, which we were told that it was included. Created a bit of confusion when it breakfast time came. Booked a room with a king and a sofa. Room key was not programmed. Had to take everything down to the reception again to program room key. Upon entry into the room, discovered that it didn't have a sofa. Back to the reception. Take 3! Were able to find another room! Thank God! As some guests were not so lucky. Second night was not very restful. Walls seem to be paper thin. Guest above us had a dog that was running back and forth. Dog's nails on the tile (I presume dog was locked in the restroom), were so loud that it woke my wife and I from our sleep. Overall a good hotel and would stay there again. Just need some ear plugs and double checking on breakfast and room reserved.

Roach on bathroom wall and woman’s hair on shower wall grossed me out.

No ice machine. There is spider on the wall. Talked to front receptionist, he denied. No immediate action to clean up the spider. No breakfast, need to pay. Receptions not very friendly. No free parking. Need to pay. Car can only park at the street. Incoming cars drive very fast. Not safe.

Have stayed here multiple times and it's always quiet and comfortable and serviceable amenities. Will be back!

This was our first time staying there. It was a really good experience. The rooms were smaller, but quality. Service was solid. Everyone was very friendly. This was for the location by the Galleria in Dallas. The only complaint would be charging for breakfast. It’s just out of what these hotels typically do. Non-traditional. The quality of the breakfast doesn’t seem escalated enough to warrant the $20 charge. Not a huge deal. We would stay here again. I hope that they change their approach to breakfast.

Tv was not working.. bathroom design was pathetic. You can see inside from outside side.. no lock.. with kids, it was difficult to managed..

Second time staying here this year. Came here for my first solo trip back in March and loved it! Felt so safe and secure. Cleanliness and location are on point. Walking distance from the Galleria and other shops. Spotless rooms and beautiful decor. 10/10 recommend!

Nice hotel

We could hear the guests in the room above us walking around the room and moving objects because the room floors are not carpeted. This made it difficult to sleep at night.
