Pool I did like it

This place looks nothing like the photos. Everything was dingy and dirty and felt on clean and the area was unsafe. I ended up sleeping in my vehicle, never again.

The room itself was a little run down and we did see a couple of cockroaches, however it was clean and everything worked. The pool was a great amenity. The staff was also very friendly and helpful as we accidentally locked ourselves out of the room and the girl in the front helped us immediately. Overall, the room served its purpose for little weekend getaway. The aquarium was not too far, and getting in the pool was a nice addition to our trip.

Was a good and big room, we enjoyed our stay.

If you book through Expedia; be prepared for a $25 deposit when you arrive. The pool was amazing! Staff were ok. Coffee machine in the room did not work; not sure if it was the outlet or the machine itself. Room was a bit warm even though the ac was set at the coldest. Breakfast was very small(waffle machine; cereal; no coffee; yogurts & pastries).

We booked a double for one night on July 4th because we went to the beach, dinner & watch the fireworks on Shoreline Dr in Corpus Christi. The room had 2 entry doors, the key didn’t work in the first door so we had to go around to the back door located on the opposite side of the first door. The first thing my cousin noticed was a red stain on the carpet looking like dried blood. My cousin immediately said I’m not staying here. I needed to use the bathroom so I opened the door & walls were filthy! The door looked like it had been sandpapered but wasn’t finished like somebody had knocked holes in the door.. the walls needed painting and everything looked dingy but I was afraid to lay my suitcase on the bed. I asked the manager if I could get a refund & she said no because I had I made the reservation through a 3rd party there was nothing she could do. I reached out to Expedia but haven’t heard anything yet. We decided to drive back home to San Antonio & getting here at at 1:00 am and very tired.

Room wasn’t dirty but not cleaned properly stains on the blind and some left over material on the pillows, water marks on the roof some furniture was cracked door knobs were loose and the restroom door had holes, the breakfast was pretty much non existent nothing was set up and the front desk was asleep when I wanted to check out in the morning

Key wasn't working for our front door, so had to go to the front desk for help. Door just didn't work well. Had to go back to the front desk because our room didn't have a remote for the TV. Not all the lights worked. We didn't even have cleaning services over the few days we were there. Had to go to the front desk for trash bags and towels. Nothing but excused from the front desk. Continental breakfast was gross. Very little there but there was a bug inside the fridge that held the jug of milk & yogurts. Batter for the waffle was discolored. Price for the stay was good. Location was good, but we'll probably pay a little more next time for a better experience.

The room was in terrible shape. Dirty and stained base boards, stained cloth chair. Scratched furniture. Bathroom floors needed to be swept. Full length mirror was missing on the bathroom door, holes and big glue stains on the door. TV was hard to operate. I was worried about bed bugs based on the condition of the room. Large trash can near the stair well was overflowing, had a terrible odor. Stair well steps had dirt clumps on them.

Room was in a lie ac setting, took a little bit to cool down. But it was really good once it hit cold. Kids loved the pool. It was easy access to where we wanted to be.

There were dead roaches in the floor. My daughter's had live as wel as dead roaches in it. There was no breakfast. We were only there to sleep and to shower. The thin towels felt like sandpaper! We had been on the road for 5 hours, so we did not complain. Had we not had an engagement that night, we would have complained, but we just had to grin and bear it!!

Need hot breakfast

She never even let us in the room she said, because I brought my kids to go swimming that we weren’t allowed to stay and that they couldn’t come in the room with me

The only good thing was the pool, there were roaches in our room. Told management and she stated they knew they had roaches.

When checking in computer everything goes down. I called multiple times to the front office. No one answered when getting there got questioned like if I was trying to stay there for free even though I showed her my information and booking confirmation.

This property is in terrible condition. Appears to be very old and in desperate need of repairs and maintenance.

Nothing, there were roaches, nasty carpets, interrogative staff and the whole place smelled. Everything. My daughter was injured in the pool. They interrogated us about what room we were staying in after we just paid $200. They could’ve let us know it was an updated crack hotel with nasty stuff still in the carpets

A real mixed bag. The staffer that checked me in was ok, not unfriendly yet not very friendly. The room was clean and the bed was ok, but the bathroom had a couple of problems. The linens were old, worn out and stained. There appeared to be a mirror removed from the bathroom door and there were patches of old glue and a screw still on the door. The shower was very good with a massaging shower head and great water pressure. I went to the lobby at 6:50 in the morning to check out and grab a bite of breakfast but it was locked and nobody was there, so the free breakfast from 6-9 was a no go. Great location but a non satisfying stay. A couple of good tweaks and it could be a very nice hotel.

The location was great! Loved the staff very peaceful! Room was spacious They charged me a deposit on my service dog when by law they are not to be charged! Owner watched me use they're washer that was broken and wasn't told had to ring all the clothes cuz the rinse cycle didn't work so tried dryer it worked but they were soaked so they weren't drying so needless to say after spending $12 at hotel trying to get my clothes dry I had to put them all back n my laundry bag&go spend another $20 rewashing &drying my clothes at the nearest laundry mat. What got me when I got back is when I was asked for deposit 3days after I checked in why wasn't it done at check in why because it wasn't brought up until I went for breakfast??? Not only that I look at the washer &it then has the broken parts on it so they let me spend $ knowing it was broke especially while the owner watched ring the water out of all my clothes was very disappointing &then to hit me the deposit after that I feel it should be refunded. The breakfast needs to be a little more that waffle maker 5 cereal cups &coffee it's a hotel full of guest has enough for at least ½..the room was good only thing was floor turned our socks black& my lil dogs paws were black nice floors for not being mopped right &refrigerator was full stains

My hotel key would not open my room. Front desk went to help it was the door would just not opened. You had to hit the door with force to get in. She suggested walking all the way around to get in my room. It was not the best

Nothing Everything.. Room was dirty, restroom door looked old and dragged on the floor when you tried to close it. Only gave us 2 towels and when requested extra towels they refused and had us turn in the other 2 before getting more. Which defeated the whole purpose of needing more than 2 towels. When we were asleep there was a roach crawling on the bed.

Upon entering room, the furnishing was sparse, chair in corner was visibly stained, arms had dark stains, no table, chairs to relax, shower flooded dressing area, bath door had visible glue spots where mirror was removed, i cup for coffee maker , i pod of coffee for 2 guest, 1 sugar creamer for 2 guest, towels were too worn out, thin , threadbare. Was told continental breakfast was from 6 to 9 am, but didnt start until 7 am, breakfast cosisted of cornflakes, oj, a few yogurts, and a waffle machine that didnt have any waffle batter at 7:30.

NA The towels had yellow stains AC was not working correctly it was humid in the entire room. There were roaches on the outside of the doors. Our second door to the pool didn’t close all the way. The toilets were not clean little roaches dead stuck in the night stand and dead roach legs behind the bathroom floor. Sheets had stains as well.

This hotel was cleaner than most I have stayed in although a bit outdated. The staff was semi-friendly. Breakfast options were limited but enough.

It was all good room nice clean didn't have shower curtain but told front desk and they were right on getting on no pool towels had to use room towels but we survived would definitely stay again

The shower stall was too low, the water escaped and got the floor all wet, the bathroom door was way too close to the toilet. And the air-conditioning unit was inadequate.

Well I checked in my room key wouldn’t work - there was bugs in my bed, she blamed the misquitos and then overall my windshield got damaged in the parking lot

I’m really not like They over charged me $50 extra for 2 rooms , and they have breakfast in almost nothing 5 yougurt, 5 pieces mandarins cups , and the machine waffle and they not have butter in is just offering 5 syrup we are 4 adults and 3 little kids…. Plus more people

It was absolutely horrible. It was so Hot all night long in both rooms we got. Also had bites in my ankles.

Decent, for the price. Not all that, but a last minute booking.

They gave us a smoking room instead of a nonsmoking room as requested. The floors had not been thoroughly swept. There was hair, dirt and rodent droppings. The sheets and towels are old and in poor condition with stains. They didn’t offer clean linen, we asked for clean sheets for the following day and we were told that they didn’t have any. There are poop stains on the bathroom wall. The pool water was filthy. The landscaping is unkept and there is trash all over the parking lot. My daughter came from out of town to spend the Fourth of July weekend here with me and we both experienced our worse motel stay. Needless to say we’d never stay here again.

Used hotel.com to book stay. Out dates pictures on wesite, room smelled like smoke. Room lacks cleaning coffee pot was dusty room was dirty.Hotel needs alot of upgrades.

The room very clean and quiet. I like the fact it has 2 doors for access to the swimming pool. The staff was courteous. The parking lot was well lit.. We had a good night sleep.

Stayed in room 216 the room had a front door and rear door both doors were had big gap and loose from the door knob lock. And the room had almost like smokers odor. Also you can hear all the traffic of 37

Everything in the room worked fine, the room was clean. The pool hours closed too early and the hot tub didn't work. It was hot but no jets.

Flat pillows, office staff unpleasant and could not give us pillows, no ice, breakfast, cold coffee and oatmeal packages. room was dirty, stained old sheets, grossed me out.could not use jacuzzi was so dirty...

Well the price was reasonable and the room was okay. It seemed dirty and ghetto around. The doors to the room are almost broken and the restroom seemed dirty.

Nothing good stands out about the place. I booked this place because i needed a hot tub. I checked in around 9 and asked what time the pool and hot tub closed and the attendant said that it stayed open all night but in reality it closed at 9.

The location was not bad, not far from the places we wanted to visit. The receptionist was kind and respectful. The property is old; definitely could use a good remodel. A lot of the stuff in the room is older, not broken which is probably why they haven’t updated it. The bathroom door made an awful sound when opening and closing- the leveling seemed to be off. The main door towards the parking lot (there’s 2 doors to the room) was broken. It wouldn’t open even with full force and the door handle would come off. So we locked that side and just used the other door (towards the pool) which at least opened and locked properly but you could visibly see that it had been kicked in or something because the chain lock at the top had a big crack on the door frame and was being held by screws. Thankfully nothing seemed sketchy during our stay but if you’re going to stay longer than like 2-3 nights, I don’t recommend.

The staff was kind and nice. The shower had what appeared like pubic hair on the wall. The water from the sink smelled like sulfa. Remote for TV extremely basic and half non-functional. Loud, rowdy guest at 1am on a Thursday that continued until 3:30 am. Breakfast was almost non-existent, with only a couple of snacks and a waffle offered. Pool closed during spring break. No hot tub access. Beds were seemingly clean and were comfortable. AC worked well.

For an affordable stay centrally located, this was excellent. Friendly staff, good breakfast, safe area .

Ac in room didn't work. No vending machines. Breakfast was extremely limited with waffles, cold cereal or fruit cups as choices. Staff entered twice without knocking. Bathroom had a leak previously and had not been painted. Coffee pot in bathroom very unhealthy... pillows were very thin staff dropped dirty linen from 2nd floor almost on top of me. I will never stay there again and am tempted to ask for a refund.

The accommodated our requests, the staff was friendly, it was quiet.

I woke up after my first night in this hotel covered in bites from bed bugs. I spoke with the front desk and explained that I was checking out early and requested a refund after I shower her the bites on my neck and head. She apologized and agreed to the refund. I spoke with hotels.com who informed me she had changed her mind and only a partial refund would be issued. For your own health and safety, Do not stay here.

Property is value for money. They claim breakfast is available but there are not many options!

Rude staff; dirty pool ; short on stuff for breakfast at 8:30 when it's advertised as available from 7 until 10; car was keyed (lightly) in parking lot; verifying reservations was hard to describe, took numerous phone calls; damage deposit not mentioned in booking with Expedia - never again!!!

This hotel is the example of you get what you pay for. It’s an older hotel but our room was very clean. I never got the name of the girl who checked me in but she was as kind as she was beautiful. Very helpful and sweet.

Poor wifi. It lagged and was not even available part of the time. Cable reception was bad. Very few channels came in.

It was clean, but needed some TLC. It had a back door which opened up to the pool. You could tell the door had been broken into because of the cracked door jam. The air conditioning was not the best, but i had brought my fan. Overall good if you just need someplace to sleep and shower.

I had never stayed at a Super 8. But decided to try this place out cause it was 3 mins away from my mom’s house. I also was so surprised how much space I had in my room. And that I had a Mimi fridge and a microwave and a Keurig coffee maker.And to that I had 2 entrances doors in my room. Meaning I had unloaded everything from my car straight into my room. That’s what I liked about my stay and even open the back door to my room and there was the pool. They only issue I had was hskp did not wipe down window base the A/C was really dirty filters were very dirty and no working phone.But overall my stay was Awesome.

The staff treated me like dirt while I was waiting for my Uber. Even locked the doors when I went outside to wait for it. They said they didn’t want me on the property bc I was waiting for my ride for to long and it hadn’t been long at all. I was kind, cleaner after myself, and I was treated wrongly. I’m a 23 year old female and I was by myself. There was no need to do that to me.
