We stay here often. It’s usually very nice. This last trip was not good. Staff came in and out of the parking lot during their shift, noticeably smelling like marijuana. No drinking water could be found the whole time we were there. There has either been a change in management or they’ve lost control of their staff. I hope things improve. It’s a great location and relatively new.

The hotel is fine and as expected. Great view of Corpus Christi Bay. Unfortunately, the General Manager has failed to respond to my one request. We booked the room for several nights, including July 4, so we could watch the annual fireworks on the Bay. We left for the day and returned about 8:30, just before dark. The parking lot was FULL. Actually, more than full as many cars were double parked. They had a police officer at the entrance, presumably checking to see that each car had the proper parking pass, which cost $15 per night. It appears they sold more parking passes than they had parking spaces. So, we had no place to park and the city was full of cars 15 blocks back from the bay. Because we were not able to park anywhere near the hotel, we did not stay there that night and stayed with friends instead. I have asked for a refund for the night that I was unable to use FIVE times. The GM is never available when I call and has not responded to three emails. I have sent over the last two months. I have waited to rate my stay because I wanted to give him a chance to respond. But since it appears that he will not, future guests should be aware of this issue.

We arrived at the hotel after posted check-in time. We were told the room would be ready in a bit. We then waited and waited. 45 minutes in, we asked if we had to wait longer because our 2-year old toddler & our dog were getting out of control. Front desk lady said she sent a message and she didn't know if the maintenance received her message, so she didn't know if they were getting the room ready! We asked: you don't even know if it is getting cleaned? And she said "NO" and she was not even apologetic! When we first came, she said "the room was getting ready", which was a lie, and 45 minutes later still there was nobody getting it ready. Then we got upset, then called the manager. The manager came down, and talked to us more professionally and apologetically, and said he was going to take care of it. Then we started waiting again. Every 10 minutes we were asking because our kid was crying and dog started barking at people because they were trying to go around. We were out of patience! A total of 1.5 hours later, the manager came and said the room was ready. We went to the room. Sink had woman hair all over. TV was not working. Both blinds were not working & we got a bay-view room, so we couldn't see it at all. We asked for them to be fixed, they said they didn't have technical service to fix them. Asked for a room service, they came when baby was asleep, so asked them to come later but they didn't. Asked again but they didn't show up. Asked for towels, didn't show up.

Check-in time was 5 PM which I feel already late! Decided to go to the beach to kill time. It was about 6:45pm. Only to be told that our rooms were still not ready, and there was no estimated time as when they would be ready. And that me and my family, who were soaking wet by the way could have a seat in the lobby. We were finally able to check in almost at 7:30pm! Once we arrive to the room, we realized that the sofa was not a pullout sofa, and no additional blankets or pillows were provided in the room for the sofa. Even though it was advertised as “sleeps 5”. To top it off when we were checking out and loading up the car, our car was infested with ants!!! there was no source of food in the vehicle and we could not find out where they were coming from!

Had a great day as a family of four check-in was a breeze room was amazing. Walk to the beach was very accessible. The pool was fun. They offered a charcuterie board in the evening, which was nice and breakfast was also nice. Will definitely stay again.

I like the space in the suite Our room was not ready until almost an hour later. Room was not cleaned and not fully restocked the following day. My husband loves to bbq and grill was very dirty. He cleaned it before and after using it. Swimming pool was dirty with cigarette buds.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff were awesome and accommodating to our needs. The place was very clean, the breakfast was great and the pool was relaxing. everyone was super friendly This isn’t specific to the property but I recommend not leaving anything in the back of the truck lol we got out fishing poles stolen over night

Mirrors had streaks, in the room and throughout the hotel. The pool was overfilled with dirty towels and there were no clean towels to use. Hidden fees, parking fee, all sorts of taxes. I didn’t appreciate that the total went up almost $50! The staff didn’t inform about check out time, pool times, and breakfast hours. They were distracted on their phone in front of customers.

The location is a great spot, this is where will always be staying when we come to Corpus, awesome breakfast, clean rooms, awesome customer service! It was as perfect as it can be for a hotel. Breakfast was great. Pool was clean. Rooms had AC. Showers were spacious. Overall, great experience. Have booked here previously and will continue to book here for upcoming trips.

Very clean property. Very close to McGee beach. The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast and happy hour foods provided.

The location and layout of the hotel was very good. We will definitely be back and suggest others to stay as well.

The biggest downside was the parking—charging $32.48 for two days is incredibly steep and feels like a hidden tax, completely wiping out any savings you get from booking a competitive rate on Expedia. Between the aging accommodations and the high incidental fees, the value just wasn't there. Wouldn't stay again unless they modernize the rooms and fix the parking situation.

The room was very clean, and the staff was very professional.

One of the highlights was the breakfast—it was delicious, with plenty of options to start the day right. The coffee was just as impressive, rich and satisfying. I also loved the drinking water machine; the water was incredibly clean and crisp, which was a nice touch that you don’t always find. Overall, a wonderful stay with thoughtful details that made a difference.

This is our go to whenever we're in the area.

Overall nice place but don’t trust what anyone says now a days. I shouldn’t have left until the credit was completed as I am worried it won’t occur now. Also booked at hotels.com but receipt provided from hotel itself was less so shop around so you don’t get ripped off.

Lights/outlets in part of the room was not working. Room was not clean to standard

However, the toilet in our room was not working from the time we arrived. We reported it and were told it had been fixed, but it still did not work. We were then told maintenance would come, but no one ever resolved the issue during our stay. Because of this, our family had to go from the 5th floor down to the 1st floor every time we needed to use the restroom. While we made the best of it for the kids, it was still a significant inconvenience and not what we expected from our stay.

Kitchen was ean and stocked. Drawers were not closing and sun screen were hard to open and close.

Nice, clean lobby. Welcome bag was a nice gesture as well as the cookies, coffee bar, and pound cake. Spacious Room, but sofa cushions were slippery and sliding off couch.

I dudnt get the $15.00 parking but no security for it. Kind of a bummer.

Love the location and the ease of getting around. The park across the street is a nice feature, especially if you have pets. This was our second time staying here.

The breakfast menu was awesome. Parking was great although it was a surprise to me I had to pay for parking there.

I truly enjoyed my stay.I Booked an ocean view room that was fully furnished with a refrigerator, cook top, dishwasher as well as utensils and soap for the dishwasher. The room was clean and super cute! The bed was comfortable as well. Once you get settled in you can walk across to the shoreline and enjoy the scenery. The breakfast was on point. 😋 And low foot traffic on the floor i stayed on. This will definitely continue to be my spot when visiting.

Great location to walk down to the beach. Sometimes local events going on in the area. Nice bar and super friendly staff. Parking on premises is $15 for self parking. Breakfast is great. A lot of options and very clean dining area. Would recommend for families and plan on staying again.

Waited in lobby for over an hour after normal check in time and did not have time to get ready for a show we were going to Asked for a discount and was offered a waive for the 15 dollar parking which I never got. Almost 400 dollars for one night! Not happy

So I normally stay at this location every time I go into corpus and or going to the beach I normally don’t ever have a problem with any of my requests. However, this last visit was one that I couldn’t believe even occurred. I arrived at the hotel late afternoon after check in time on a Saturday and there were no rooms available the lobby was full of people waiting for the same. The reasoning behind this delay was they had been at capacity the day before, but that’s all I was given I requested for extra towels did not receive. Later that same evening I had requested for a late check out and the overnight representative cannot find my Bonvoy number and told me I had to call to get it after providing that information. The only extension that could be in given was one hour. I asked for courtesy to be later, considering that my room was not ready the day before and was told that was not an option. The water pressure for the shower and the sink was minimal, but since I was only staying one night, I figured it wasn’t anything to be concerned with considering I was only staying one night I went to breakfast the following morning at 8 o’clock and unfortunately, that was also a disappointment. The food was cold. I’m not understanding what happened with that considering all my other times have been fine. Lastly, this location has a bar and Saturday night. There were patrons that were beyond inebriated. I’m being extremely belligerent and obnoxious.(no more space to continue my comment.

No clean towels, no refills on shampoo, body wash and conditioner, no toiletries. Also charged $15 a day for parking without a security guard. I've never had to pay for parking at the hotels I've stayed in.

Excellent breakfast Convenient to all of our planned attractions Housekeeping was not great for the price - they did not set up our room for three guests and did not provide linens for the foldout bed. Had to get our own linens from the front desk and make up the bed ourselves upon arrival. They didn’t have pillows that night and had to ask for them multiple times the following day. Housekeeping didn’t empty trash cans in our room after pthe first night and they skipped our room the next night - had to request towels and trash service

The room was great clean and cozy beds. It was great access to downtown area right on the main strip. Only bad thing was parking not enough spaces for all the guest. But overall everything was excellent definitely staying here again when we come to Corpus.

We stayed while in town visiting family. Our TV wasn’t working, so we called the front desk. The security guard came and fixed it!

i honestly LOVED this room because it was beautiful and perfect but the one thing that i hated was i slid in the restroom and NOT when i was showering yet because the vent didn’t work ! my oldest son did the slits when he was getting water hot for shower plus the tub is so slippery that we had to put a towel in the shower!!! One last problem was the room was extremely HOTT because it only has 1 a/c bent while the living room was cold due to more than 1 vent in ceiling. But besides i absolutely loved the room!!!! i’m already planning my trip for next summer. Thank you so very much!!!!

Best kept secret on Shoreline drive! Not sure how we missed this option in our 3 years of coming to Corpus. Best breakfast (get the hours or you might miss it as we did on our 2nd day here). Spacious room with full fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher if you need it. Will definitely stay here again!

This property was in a great location off Shoreline Blvd in Corpus. Staff was efficient, helpful and very polite. The view of Corpus Christi bay was spectacular.

I booked for a premium a room through hotels .com and the hotel said they over over book the rooms. The supervisor lady was very rude about and said there’s nothing they can do and could. Not refund me amor credit the difference. I took the lost and will never return to another Marriott ever again.

I was there for a week and no one showed up to clean the room and change sheets despite me calling them. They only came once to empty the trash cans after calling a few times.

Hotel & staff were great, but having to pay to park on the property sucks. The rates are very expensive already & adding another $15 a day just to park in the building you are staying in & not being notified through any websites until you have already paid, really sucks.

STOP CHARGING FOR PARKING!!! You are ridiculous. The whole area around the hotel has free street parking. And no one who is not a guest would be trying to park in the hotel lot. You are just trying to bilk customers who don't think of alternatives. Beyond that: I booked for five people. There were three towels in the room. The couch they show in the pictures is not comfortable for sleeping. Also, housekeeping did not come the second or third day of our stay, so I had to call down both days for service. Poor quality pillows. Mediocre breakfast.

Comfortable hotel with an ideal location across the beach. Restaurants and bars in walking distance. I was disappointed to learn their Heated pool was not working, main reason why I selected this hotel. I called the day before and I was told it was working. Customer service was good during check-in. I requested extra bedding and it was delivered to my room quickly. We really enjoyed breakfast, many options available including gluten free. They also have a bar available in the lobby that serves Happy Hour.

I enjoyed the property but the service could have been better it took me three times to get fresh towels and I had to go get them . We needed extra towels because when you ran the shower and it would go all over the floor and when the floor was wet it was very slippery . I did like that there was an ice machine in the fridge. I wish there was a restraint in the building instead of just a bar at night .

We chose this hotel because of the location and because it was pet friendly. The room size was perfect as we had plenty of room even after setting up our pup's kennel. Would have been even better if we had stayed longer because everything we needed to cook and dine in except for the food was there in the kitchenette. It was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

The front desk is so nice! Some of the best service ive had actually. Quick check in, friendly, we went for my sons 4th birthday..belated as it was during hurricane Beryl. They were so sweet and let him pick all the treats he wanted from the snack bar for free. They allowed a late checkout for like 20/ 25 each hour was perfect for us. We checked out at 2. Breakfast was your normal continental breakfast but free so wont complain. We couldnt really use the pool at night because another large group was already there and blaring their radio which i thought odd they allowed. Just not 4 yo old appropriate so we didnt go. The morning though and early afternoon was way better, cleaned from the night before and quiet lol with a few us a couple other families with their kiddos. My 20yo daughter misses the bed already and we stayed in plenty of hotels as we travel. The service made it one of our new favs!
