Walking distance to the beach. None of the photos are what the hotel looks like. Very run down. Had literal Crackheads sitting outside the motel. People next to us where outside the room smoking weed even with me having little kids coming in and to go to the car to get our belongings. Room was very dirty, there was a spot where there wasn't roaches crawling around on everything. Shower had only one setting which was burning lava, and very weak pressure. I can keep going on and on about this place. For the price I payed it was definitely not worth it. Didnt know it was a crackhead motel.

Location If people were smoking outside, you could smell it in the room

Right by the ocean. While the DoubleTree by Hilton blocks a good chunk of the view, and the back side of the rooms face a wide empty sand patch, the front side is a stunning nice view of the Lexington and North Beach. The rooms seemed clean, the TVs had channels and the workers were kind and respectful. The hotel as well is only a few minutes away from the beach, a gas station, Whataburger, tourist gift shops, and attractions like Texas State Aquarium, USS Lexington, Pier 99, and of course the wonderful Harbor Bridge. The beds weren't too comfy, they were kinda stiff, but it was a soft enough mattress that me and my partner slept like a baby. The blankets are thin and cheap, definitely recommend bringing your own blanket. The sink water pressure was weak most of the times, even being a soft dribble of water sometimes, but the shower water was strong, fine, and warmed up quick. Aside from the sink and the bed, everything worked like a charm.

Bed Sheets / Towels were used I had to use my personal covers i was really frustrated

The place had all the essentials and the staff was nice. The big draw is that the location is perfect within walking distance from North Beach, the Lexington and the aquarium.

The room had a bad smell. Also construction across the street from the room woke me up early.

The motel is pretty run-down and could use a "face lift" although it was clean. There were a few enmities missing from either our room or for the whole motel such as kleenex and an ice bucket. Not anything we couldn't deal with.

The room was affordable, clean, comfortable. The outside of the building could use to TLC but the rooms the state fine. The only thing that was wrong with our room was the water pressure from the sink was a bit light but the shower was fine and the water was hot. Very clean . The location was top tier. The staff was very friendly and accommodating when we asked for extra pillows and towels. I would stay here again. Water pressure at the sink could be better, outside could be cleaner.

The staff was rude. Everytime the A/C came on it smelt like mold. The shower curtain was covered in mold. The sheets had pee stains on them. There were permanent residents that blasted music all night long and the smell of weed stayed in the air.

An older beach hotel that has been kept up with fresh paint and repairs. Fairly clean and hygienic, everything worked, but there was no coffee maker. The guy behind the front desk who only spoke Hindi was, shall we say, inefficient.

The staff were friendly. Our room had mold on the vanity mirror, toilet wouldn't flush, bathtub drain clogged up. AC unit dripped and carped surrounding bed was drenched with AC run off. There was hardly any lighting in the room as the electrical outlets where lamps were did not work. Will not stay here again

We got there after a 22 hour drive. We asked to check in early they charged us for early check in that was whatever because we were tired. We went to take nap and a hour later they were banging on our door to replace curtain rods. We went to take a shower there was no water pressure at all. So it was horrible showers all week. We kept hearing banging on the walls all night. And every time you stepped out your door you got a contact high. The room was clean for that hotel and they did come in while we were gone and give us more towels and empty our trash. Overall we would not stay there again because it just wasn’t worth it.and bathroom was musty and moldy.

My experience at residence Inn was not very good. First of all. They made me wait for a very long time for a room and stated that their cleaning person had quit and there was someone new and they were taking forever, then they put me in a room next to some body who was very noisy hanging outside talking very loudly so I asked to move. I had to wait over an hour for another room then I get to the room my towels were stained and dirty, so I had to give them back and ask them for some clean white towels. The property is not very well kept it is OK. I did book the room on Expedia and there was a deal and I guess you get what you pay for. My blanket on my bed was very musty smelling, and the room smelled the same. It is like they do not wash the blankets. The only perk of staying here was being right in proximity of the ocean being able to see the ocean and walk there just in a couple of minutes other than that this is a low budget inn and on top of that, floorboard sunken in room. No guest soap to wash off. Glad I had my own they offered nothing.

The room smelled like pee and was really dirt, reported to the receptionist but she couldent understand me. So took my family and went to another hotel.

The staff was polite but the stair rail was sticky. The room was gross the pillows and pillow covers was extremely dirty. The towels and wash cloth was dirty. The bathroom floor looks like it has grease on it. There was a shirt that was left before on the microwave. In my mom's room she showed me in her shower there was dirty wash cloth on the shower bar and a used soap in the corner in the bathtub.

Place was falling apart.. no other way to put it. Pillow and sheets were dirty. Used soap on the counter bathroom door was falling apart and had a hole in it and it just was a horrible place.. I ended up walking across the street and booked another hotel to stay the night. My son found mold in the bathroom and the floor was collapsing in on itself by the door.. Do not recommend to anyone

The parking was great. The room was decent and well air conditioned but the shower faucet was semi working in the bathroom and no curtains were missing on the window to help keep light out.

Rom was filthy lady told meit was smoke free walked in and smelled like nothing but smoke had to leave . Said they had no other vacancies available . Money was refunded but was a big inconvienence ..totally disapointed!

There was a hole in the floor in room 109. The carpet was covering it but you have to be careful not to fall through. Also the door had more than an inch gap at the threshold so any type of bug or rodent could easily just walk on in

Ac was cold and rooms where clean. Looks lile they did some updates to the rooms. Right off the beach and within walking distance from the Lexington. I would just like to note there is no ground floor so if you cannot do stairs this may not be the best place to stay.

That is run by a family. And they are very hospitable and despite my demanding nature they have been very good to us. We are going through a horrible time in our life where our families are against us being together but also his ex wife and my ex husband stole and transfered my property invan afluent neighborhood here In town. But also I have found that people or for whatever reason are treating us badly and I don't even know why. I am not rich. I made my own money by buying stock and for that they wanted to take everything from me. But to the extreme. Seems to me that Ill never get relief as long as there are multiple people against me. I have a string faith. But I refery to inform that my faith is losing.

Great experience ! Just a 5 min walk away from the beach . It’s not super fancy, but it is very affordable and it gets the job done ! If you’re looking for a cheap hotel that is close to North Beach and isn’t completely dirty and trash. This is a good option because it’s lower in price and they have decent rooms. The bedding is clean. The restroom was clean and the room also was clean. The area is kind of sketchy at night, but as long as you lock your doors and stay in your room, staff is very nice and attentive

Nothing good to say about this place. Came from Canada thought this would be a nice place to be for a night but was a bad mistake. Place reeked of pee, all the towels stained, the Oder of the room was horrible. Wouldn’t stay here ever again even it was free

I need this stay refunded. The hotel would not accept for of payment from the website or over the phone. Canceled at property and they stated they would not run the card. I did not stay at the hotel that night or any other night. Pls contact me asap.

It was on the beach but the beach was nasty. the room smelled moldy floor wet..Dirty towels and tub was old and gross. the 3 year old would not get in it.

Great location, cheap rates. Definitely run down and not very clean, but we just were there to sleep so it wasn't bad. Rooms smell of stale cigarettes and damp. I wouldn't recommend staying for more than a night, but if you need a cheap hotel in a great location just to sleep it gets the job done. Front desk lady was really nice.

For an older motel, it is directly a 1 minute walk to the beach, 5 feet from an excellent Restaurant/Coctail lounge, 1 minute walk to several other nice restaurants/coctail lounges and the US 181 Freeway is in it's front yard. Such a good value and the friendliest management. I always stay there when I travel to North Beach, Corpus Christi, Texas.

The staff was very nice and helpful to me. I was leaving a domestic violence relationship and dint know where I was going to go. They accepted late night. Thank y'all so much.

For a low end hotel, its pretty nice. It works to save per diem for the weeks i am here for work.
