The staff was very understanding and friendly. Our room was clean, quiet, and stayed super cold, which we loved. The shower also had plenty of hot water. The only downside was that the room didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator. Other than that, we had a comfortable stay and would stay here again. I loved how close we were to the highway and a bunch of food places and gas station

It was very noisy the first night.

The room was cleanish, but there was a horrible mold smell. We had to leave the door open for a while to air it out. The toilet was stained under the rim like it hadn't been cleaned. The shower had no pressure. There was no microwave or fridge, but at least the TV and AC worked.

Over all my stay was greate.

Neighbors kept me up all night even the people upstairs were loud. I did not have a goodnights rest. Floor on the second floor scared me cuz it was caved in. Im a regular customer. I dont think I wanna go back.

The office chair needs replaced. All the vinyl was torn off. The seat was down to the padding making it very unsanitary. The bedspread also needs replaced. It has multiple burn holes all along the top. Our room was at the end of the building at the back. Our first night there it was rainy. We had a vagrant sleeping outside our door. He caused no problems and was gone in the morning.

There was Whataburger, and good places near by came in handy. It was comfortable for the room we got. But a little noisy. With lots of people and families staying there. We heard banging all night from another room. We didn’t have any problems with our room though.. Lots of people seemed like they were watching us idk it felt a little off putting. My family that was staying in the other room said they had roaches all over the place, something about water pressure being off too, very unsettling, so we won’t be returning as a group. Other than that. We only stayed one night.. If it’s what you are looking for you should be alright.

Nothing a waste of money

My 8 year old found a dollar bill in the windowsill that was rolled up and had white powder inside that went all over the floor when she opened it. I will assume that it was some kind of illegal drug. The floors and room wasn't clean and we found cockroaches in the room. We use to love staying at this hotel cause the staff was friendly and it was decent for the price. But it has went down hill. It will be the last time we stay.

The room was infested with roaches that had everyone afraid to sleep. Sink was stopped up. Shower barely had warm water and had pockets of unsecured to the floor tub. Unimpressed by this location and probably will never visit again.

The room its self was good the outside of the property really wasn’t safe. We sound a lot of needle and used condoms .

I rented a room for my daughter and she said that the room smell like piss, she noticed it late in the afternoon so I called and complaint and your front staff was very rude and said he couldn’t do nothing about it that she should’ve let him know last night that she didn’t know they had extra rooms I’m not asking you to give me my money back i’m just asking you to give me some kind of credit on the room since your housekeeper didn’t clean it properly and now you have a room that smells like piss

The price was economical. The room was better than I expected.

Hot water for bathing was very good. Floors, furniture, all surfaces saturated with an oily residue which was a terrible substitute for cleanliness.

I did ask for a microwave and refrigerator and it was provided. Did not feel safe or comfortable. Checked out after 2 hours. I feel I should get a refund. I was not at fault for cancellation.

Location Roaches all over the place and TV turning on at 430am every morning. AC unit was loud but cold.

Mattress cover isn't was clean it was all dirty. We took pictures....at ..little roaches..

It is full of roaches... The lock was broken on second night, couldn't go anywhere or we can't reenter; to reenter you will need to force window open and climb in. The lock needs to be replaced. Coffee maker wasn't working, had to replace it too......

Crack in bathtub, shower curtain looking nasty, bed was lope sided, had a dog constantly barking in da morning. I've stayed before here in front rooms by spid but these on Whataburger side were not so good.

They told me on the phone that they had truck parking. They have enough room for ONE 18-wheeler and this morning I had to get cars moved so I could leave their lot. The room I had had a drafty door so my floors stayed wet with condensation the whole 2-1/2 days I was there. They DO NOT have refrigerators or microwave ovens in the rooms. But they did supply me with them after I complained. Unfortunately they're infested with roaches but at least they didn't have bedbugs to boot. I learned my lesson, I will spend more money for better amenities somewhere else next time.

The beds were broke, smelled like mildew, the sheets and pillows were dirty, the door looked like it was kicked in and torn from the hinges and then put back on. It was horrible we left early. Will never return and would not send anyone here to stay.

After reading the reviews, I was hesitant if I had made a good choice. We saw 5 roaches while we stayed there for two nights and one of them crawled on me in the middle of the night making it uncomfortable since I had my kids with me. I had to buy air freshener and disinfectant to spray the beds.

The furniture looked like it had been pulled out of the trash. The towels looked dirty, as if bleach had never been used to clean them. In short: disgusting.

Me and my husband stay in hotel for 6 weeks at a time we only got to stay four at this place bc every week the price went up drastically and it just wasn’t worth the price any more

The beds were comfortable. I had booked a two bed, queen size bed and they gave me a king size bed. After I called booking.com and complained that’s when they did something about it. But they did not wanted to respect what I had originally had paid for.

The bed was comfortable The room smelled like dog feces. The rug in-between the 2 beds smelled really bad almost unbearable. It smelled like a dog a pooped and peed everywhere in that room especially in the areas where there was rug/carpet. There was blood on the sheets too. Never again

MOLD!!! Stepping into our room we noticed mold all over the lamp shades and the curtains. The room smelled like mildew and the walls were dirty. The bathroom door was filthy. The tub was full of cracks and chipped paint everywhere. The towels were all dirt. Overall bad experience, requested a refund and looked another hotel got our trip. Worst part is they still charged me $50. I was only there for 1hr. Ridiculous!

Room was clean and rest of property was a bit SKETCH! It sufficed to be a place to sleep and get back to the beach each day to hang out and close to lots of food etc. elevator smelled like pee and then one day there was turd on the floor in the elevator can only assume it was a dog but who knows, didn't want get into it after seeing that. room we stayed in was clean and stayed cold so the A/C worked well and felt safe enough if staying in the room. The rest of the property was fairly clean but had some "interesting" characters hanging out from time to time. Nothing fancy about this place. the coffee in the lobby was terrible. Better off walking over to Whataburger getting your coffee there then going back to lobby for the creamers. :-)

Easy to find. Decent price. Asked for ADA accommodation. Handicap shower. First floor room. Git neither of these things.

This place has no way of ideas to help better. It unhealthy and disgusting and needs to be shut down . A pair of women’s underwear were found in the room . There was mold in bathroom ceiling and shower curtain. Cigarette burn on sheets . Horrible experience. We checked in and checked out a few hours later . Disappointed is understatement.

Property was just okay.

We have stayed every summer for years. This is first year where drugs were being used. Noisy people into the late hours of the night. Seems like one of those weekly apartments buildings now. Sorry but will not return.

Room was just that. No mini fridge. Shower sprayed everywhere including over the shower curtain. It was broken.

I found a broken Crack pipe by the head board. If I had moved my hand the opposite way I would have cut my fingers

The Wi-Fi did not work, and when we contacted management for assistance, we were told someone would come help us. No one ever showed up. To make matters worse, the air conditioning unit was leaking and left water all over the floor. The lack of communication, poor maintenance, and failure to address issues in a timely manner made for a very frustrating stay. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below expectations, and I would not recommend this hotel based on our visit.

Clean room, A/C crisp, my room had a microwave and fridge (fridge could be colder tbh) and good parking depending on what time you arrive.

There were several bugs within our room. One was under the covers. The “clean” towels had shaved hair on them. One of the towels had a shoe print on it. The floors looked like they were mopped with muddy water. Would not stay here again.

So terrible i didnt even stay - paid for 2 rooms, person who had second room didnt have his drivers license and the desk clerk was so rude and unhelpful. Clerk also told the gentleman who checked in before me that check in was 3 pm but they dont guarantee your room will be ready you have to wait. She said they didnt have any clean sheets or towels so he would have to wait until they finished the room to check in. After hearing that and the horrific attitude i was given we left and booked at the red roof inn up the road. Everything there went smooth and we had a nice stay with them. I know, you get what you pay for but red roof inn was the same price and much better experience.

hotel was a complete nightmare I woke up with several bed bug bites all over my body I had to go to the emergency room due to reactions and swelling on every extremity of my body costing me 370 dollars. I returned the following day to be told the manager would be in at 20m and to come back then. I had to go back to the emergency room later that day and just now being released. I suggest to anyone even considering staying at this place to not chance it. I regret it and I will be contacting my attorney to have my expenses paid and this issue be handled appropriately and with certainty. I was talked into staying here on short notice and will never sacrifice my level of standards. This hotel is acting in a negligent manner as I found out by other hotel guests I met today the issue has been reported over and over and the staff simply ignore it to make a quick buck and in Texas that is illegal and the hotel is therefore held liable for everything. I documented and photographed as well as took statements to ensure this comes to a stop. I will be returning and I will be seeking compensation for having to babysit and correct this issue making myself the victim. You got the right one this time Red Roof Inn and I look forward to destroying your malicious behavior in court. I sure hope you saved those quick bucks because I crush embarrassments like you weekly in my line of work. I'd start praying if I were you. -Room 208 May 4, 2026

the smoking room didn't smell as bad, as most !! Did notice amt of people partying/hanging around outside, in parking lot...& later could hear someone hanging out near room...then knocked on our door, acouple times overnite, which had our lil dog barking too Ugh !!

Air conditioner did not keep room cool at night. My bed was horrible and blanket had stains all over both beds. Toilet would not even flush properly Friday night and then Saturday would not flush at all in the morning or that night. Would not recommend staying there

Best place I’ve ever stayed

I requested a crib, even called 2 hours prior to arrival & was told they have one. Got there, & the man said they didn’t have one available, it was being used. Got to the room & the keys didn’t work. Went back downstairs to get them rekeyed & when the door opened, it was an OCCUPIED ROOM! Went back down & told the same man & he gave us another room. Got to that room, no fridge or microwave. I had breastmilk. Went back downstairs to ask. No fridge available but said he could have one in the morning. I asked what time, he said maintenance guy arrives around 10am so probably 11-12ish. I also asked about a freezer to store my breastmilk in because it has to stay frozen. He stated there was no freezer (not even an employee one). He gave us an extra ice bucket to “help.” Around 1pm the next day, I asked the lady at the front desk when the fridge was coming to our room. She called the man who told us about it (who was cleaning rooms that day???) he lied and said he never told us 11-12. I asked if one was available or not. She asked him on the phone & he said one “just became available but it needed to be cleaned.” At this same time, my boyfriend saw the man on the elevator & asked. He said he was going to get it right then. Not even 5 minutes later, there was a fridge in our room, but all of my breastmilk ruined. A freezer needs to be available! Oh, and there were bugs - one in the bed & one in the bathtub. And stuff got stolen out of the bed of our truck and other people’s trucks.

Desk was nice I wasn’t charged like other hotels for fees just gave me the keys after confirming reservation. Which was a plus. Room was damp but the bed was ok. Shower was great and iron/other appliances worked well. Good price for stay.

My daughter and I didn't feel secure at this place since the minute we drove up to the property. The area was sketchy and sus folks out in the parking lot late at night. The room was dirty and not cleaned thoroughly. Sheets were stained, pillowcases were yellowish (slept on 1 side of the bed), the mirror had smudges, and there was a water leak in the bathroom. The office chair was old and damaged. Also, saw a roach crawl under the bed. I could go on and on about our room. It simply felt dirty, and we didn't trust putting our luggage or belongings on the floor. We made sure to put all our belongings on the table. And not to mention, there was a shooting in the wee morning (the day of our checkout) at the property. We checked out as soon as the sun came out.

The property its ok the gest they have are not family friendly its hard to have kids in the pool when everyone around it its smoking mariguana or doimg other kind of drugs literally its like a trailer park in there but dont get me wrong hotel its ok its rhe people staying there

We did not feel very safe being at this Red Roof Inn, there was loud music being played when we arrived and ended up calling the front desk to report it because it was after 11:00 PM and the music was still playing loud, the front desk said they would talk to them up it didn't quiet, there were people running up and down the walkway. Noise all throughout the night. It was the most terrible stay we have had in Corpus Christi that we ever had. We ended up checking out early need to speak to an Expedia Representative for a refund.

I decided to give it a go, thinking that it couldn’t be me, it’s not that bad as they say. IT 100% IS that bad. The sheets were stained, sandy and strands of hair. The floor was disgusting, accidentally dropped water on the floor, used a towel to clean it up and the towel was black! My son’s feet were black. Those floors have not seen a mop in I don’t know how long. Carpet was equally questionable. There was a roach (marijuana rolled) on the bathroom floor. The smell was disgusting. It smelled like cigars/cigarets when the room was non smoking. Husband is asthmatic and was coughing up a storm during our single night (thank god) stay. The TV decided to stop working after we left the room for awhile. Homeless/sketchy people around on the property. Feeling sure this place is used as a halfway house. The only good thing I say was the desk staff was friendly at check in. -10/10 still overall. It’s cheap, you get what you pay for. But please read the reviews before thinking of staying here.

Said the rooms were clean and that the hotel well staffed and friendly. What a deception… our room stunk so bad and there were small nats flying around. There were places in the bathroom where you could see mold. Went to the office and young girl just said (well I don’t know) that’s it!! Smell was so bad and apparently they have monthly tenants because they were lots of them hanging out in the parking lot. The next day the night manager was very nice and moved us to another room even though the young girl told her there were no rooms available. Horrible experience and I will never believe your comments about how nice this slum hotel is!!! We don’t complain and we try to adjust to whatever we encounter but this was an experience that I don’t wish anyone else to go through. Dirty dirty dirty

staff was fine, the room was horrible worn. The desk chair was so bad , could not even sit in it. The room really needed a cleaning, it had dripping marks on the walls. The floor was sticky, we wore socks to bed too, it was pretty bad. The toilet would stick and make noise, had to jiggle the handle to fix it. Really poor, I guess thats 50 dollars these days.

DONT COME HERE!!! Beds were stayed with blood and it was feasted with ROACHES!!! I had to cancel the same night and find somewhere else to go! The receptionist was sweet but the building was awful!! I DONT KNOW WHY THIS PLACE IS EVEN OPEN!! Saw two different rooms and they were both the same!! The beds looked like they were filled with STDs with all that blood! DONT COME HERE!
