Omni Corpus Christi Hotel

Great hotel in Downtown Corpus Christi. Close to restaurants and event arena. Free drink/coffee coupons nice when joining free rewards account. Pool has both indoor and outdoor components. Have stayed here a few times and always very pleasant.

The only bad review I can give is that we found a liquor empty bottle in the room which means they did not clean it very well. I told front desk service and they just said ok which tells me that it’s probably not a big deal which is very wrong .

The location and the view were amazing. The staff was great. The room was spacious, but a bit outdated. The most disappointing thing about our visit was the breakfast that was delivered to our room. It was pretty bad for what I was charged. The restaurant manager did offer to fix things with a credited meal at the restaurant but we decided to do breakfast elsewhere the next day.

Clean room, great pool

Very nice hotel. Clean, sweet staff and a nice balcony with a nice view, good food as well. There was a sort of mildew smell on the 16th floor and housekeeping never came to clean my room. The tvs remote has the ORDER button where normally is the on and off buttons so i accidentally ordered music. I hope they will refund me for that purchase. But overall good stay

Didn’t stay and didn’t get my tefund

It was a perfect stay something’s in the room we’re just alittle outdated that’s all. Staff was very helpful did let us check in early as well check out early whigg ch helped a lot with a 3 month old. Only thing we had asked for a pack and play when we got there but didn’t get it until hours later but it was ok.

The view was great My room wasn't cleaned when I arrived, and when I asked for them to clean they did not come in not once at all

I would like to see an upgrade to the rooms.

This is my second stay at this hotel. I really enjoy all of the amenities and it’s located right next to the concert venue. The rooms are clean. I enjoyed the access to a restaurant and a bar and a coffee shop without having to leave the hotel. It’s really nice however, on this trip, I feel like the bar staff was rude. I stood in front of the bar for several minutes before being acknowledged while other people who walked up after me were getting served right in front of me. I was ignored until my husband walked up to see what was going on, and someone finally asked if he had been helped. I didn’t appreciate how we were treated and this was the first time something like this has happened there, but I don’t know if I’ll go back. I’m not going to play any card here, but let’s just say my skin is darker than all the people they were helping. Oh, and another thing we witnessed the bartender, pulling the bourbon cherries out of the bottle with his fingers to put in our drinks, that’s nasty for such a nice place.

The room was clean and the staff were amazing! The room was a bit outdated and felt a bit over priced for what was offered. The pool and jacuzzi were both extremely chlorinated.. I enjoyed my stay, but for the price it was a bit underwhelming. Just to bring it back though, the staff were amazing and definitely helped keep the rating at 4 or if 5 stars for me.

Hotel is awesome, but the sink in the Room kept on overflowing, but they make up by removing some of the charges. Overall good hotel.

Super friendly, beautiful hotel. Loved the sauna, the staff, and bartenders. My sheets didnt feel very clean, and found a long black hair in my sheets.. I have thin blonde hair. Toilet had dark stains in upper corners that caught my eye every time i used the bathroom (im short), so made my stay slightly unpleasant . The desserts at the restaurant was amazing, recommended it has stunning views too.

Needs breakfast.

A used Q-tip was on the bed. So that tells me they didn’t change the bedding.

Place looks awesome, but smells like mold. Oatmeal and drinkn is $20. Beat western down the street is half the cost and has an awesome breakfast buffet with legit tacos for free.

The hotel was fantastic, the person working the front desk when we arrived was named Jay and they were excellent in handling our hotel needs as well as being extremely knowledgeable about the events on the city that was drawing in guests. Jay even remembered us and our planned trip to the aquarium the following day. There was apparently a big power outage while we were gone and Jay immediately informed us about it and was calm and collected and handled everything extremely well. I work as a supervisor in customer service and if I could clone Jay I would, they were so amazing and the stay wouldn't have been the same without them.

Perfect location for our concert trip! Food was amazing the drinks were even better… they thought of almost everything to make the stay perfect!!

The restaurant in the 20th floor is amazing with an excellent piano music and singer and has a beautiful view to the ocean.

Bathtub/shower would drain extremely slowly so stood in tubful of water while showering. Toilet bowl was not cleaned. Air conditioner was extremely loud. And bathroom was the smallest bathroom I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Not worth the money, stay anywhere else.

Room refrigerator was not working and then the ice machine was not working. Trash can in room did not have trash bags. AC was a bit too noisy.

The view was wonderful, although between the dilapidated balcony with no furniture, which made it impossible to sit outside and the semi truck sounding air-conditioner inside relaxation is interesting at best. T” The pool area was nice but again calcification on the metal and worn out facilities are shabby also very loud music as they seem to be trying to be some sort of hip pool area, but it just doesn’t cut it Again, nicest people ever… That along with the views (especially in the early morning and sunset) are the reasons to stay here.

Everything was great from the room, to the view from our balcony. Staff were amazing as always. The shower, what can I say. Totally love the water pressure. The bed, well not as comfortable as I would like but was able to sleep well.

For my post operative stay with a water ocean view request and it was graciously granted. Room service options were yummy and prompted. Valet Parking access for a fee is effortless and efficient. I would recommend that the furniture chaise chairs are steam cleaned more often (1652room). Highly recommended for next travels in this area.

They charged us $30/ day self parking but nothing mentioned on website.

Layout was nice Parking lot attached to the building Bathroom door hits toilet and door swings the wrong way, always have to go around it. No microwave in the room. Charge each night to park my car The bar on the 2nd floor sucks Out on the balcony was noisy equipment running constantly across the street Breakfast way too pricey.

The location was awesome! My wife and I experienced motorized Lime scooters for the first time and had a blast!

It was a crazy experience! They were overbooked and couldn’t have a room ready until very late. When I received key cards for my room - I ended up walking in on people already occupying the room! How scary and embarrassing! Never have I experienced this before!

Front desk was helpful. Bar was OK. 1. Sink did not drain well. This happened the last time I stayed here in Corpus Omni. 2. Bellmen would not let us barrow the dolly to move our heavy luggage. We were perfectly capable and didt't want to feel obligated to give them a tip. 3. Republic bar does not serve carnitas any longer. 4. I had problems with the automatic gate in the garage. Had the same problem twice. It is automated, but it is stupid.

I reserved this coastal hotel for my pre operative and post operative stay, requested kindly a water view high up and my wish was granted and accommodation were so quiet and serene!!! Email correspondence was prompt related to my request. Definitely the friendliest staff all around and should be given a raise on their next evaluation :). I will most definitely recommend Omni to anyone traveling for recreation or medical stay to rest.

The staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful. Easy parking, good amenities, nice clean environment. Upon arriving I was just confirming I had a reservation 4 hours before my check-in time and they offered me a room early good service 5-stars.

There was very loud work being done at the hotel when we were there. Had there been some info about this may have made me change hotels.

Construction making impossible to sleep.

The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious with super comfortable beds. The views are amazing! I only have two complaints. One, the tiles by the pool are very loose and unsafe. Someone could easily trip on them. Two, the Republican of Texas bar and grill was a failure. The atmosphere was nice and they have great views, but the service and food were subpar. I could have cooked a better steak at home. It was ridiculous.

Rooms were amazing. And having a balcony was a plus.

Excellent location

Upon leaving my wife accidentally left our baby daughter’s Dior Baby Blanket folded on the bed along with an individual Apple Ear IPod. We didn’t realize it until after we made it back to Dallas. I called several times hoping that someone would turn these items in though to this very day I still haven’t heard a single word.

Went for a 13th anniversary and there was nothing but problems. We have stated this property multiple times and never had such a bad experience.

Loved the pool with bar and music! Only downside is that the pool and hot tub is small so it gets full very quick.

Over charged on my credit card for someone else's room service, they charged the wrong room.... so double check your receipt when you check out...employee wasnt concerned about it, and the money doesn't go back into the account until a few days.... very disappointed also once you book the room and pay upon arrival they charge another 100 dollars as a holding fee

The hotel look from the outside is very appealing. The rooms are outdated. Feels like I’m stepping into the 60s will the wall decor. Many things are screaming for renovations. This hotel has potential but definitely need to be renovated from the inside.

Everyone works as a team. I absolutely loved it. My breakfast was delicious this morning and our dinner last night was phenomenal.

Only thing is you have to go down the hall to use the microwave.

The place was perfect for a family getaway

While the location is absolutely unbeatable—just a short stroll from the sand with stunning, panoramic ocean views—the indoor experience unfortunately didn't match the scenery. The room itself is in desperate need of a deep clean, specifically the bathroom, where we encountered noticeable mold buildup in the bathtub and on the shower curtain. If the management addresses these maintenance and hygiene issues, this place would easily earn a top rating, as the proximity to the beach and the gorgeous vista are truly its best assets.

The hotel with the view was perfect. The embassador was very nice. She asked if our stay will be for any special occassion. I mentioned it was our Anniversary. Once we got there there was a chocolate mousse there for us - complimentary. The room was clean and the view from balcony was very beautiful. The location was great , close to down town amd marina. The room was a bit small but it is okay. Staff that bought us the room service was very nice. The pool looks nice but was packed , probably it was a 4th of July weekend. I will definitely stay here again. But I hope the price can be lower or at least the breakfast was included.

The hotel was extremely noisy, as there was construction constantly being carried out during our stay in the mornings and afternoons. There was no notification prior to our stay that the hotel was undergoing construction.

The front desk young lady was great, she warned us we had the last king room and it was near the elevator, and to ask to change rooms the next morning. The elevator was loud, but the room smelled like dirty feet. The smell was bad. The valet service was great, but didn’t feel like it was worth the extra $$ to stay here.

The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. We did stay over the 4th of July and were excited when we were told we could see the fireworks from our balcony. I also called the day of to double check and they said yes, absolutely, you'll be able to see the show from your balcony. I called a 3rd time since I did some Google searches and I made sure they were aware our room faced the Lexington- yep, you can see the fireworks. Well the fireworks started and we could only hear them, not see them. We had to go out to the hallway by the elevators to watch, which is just not the experience we were expecting. However they apologized and comped our parking and gave us drink vouchers for the inconvenience, however it was our last night and we didn't get to use our vouchers. Other than that, great stay and location, but if you are there for fireworks, its best to leave your room unless your rooms faces the bay directly.

I’ve traveled the world but I have to say that the Omni Corpus Christi was one of the best hotels that I’ve ever experienced! My wife & I spent our wedding anniversary in CC & South Padre Island for some costal activities & we weren’t disappointed. The entire Omni staff & team were amazing. We were greeted with warm welcomes! The Republic of Texas restaurant on the 20th floor with panoramic views was an entire vibe! Overall I give the Omni Corpus Christi a 10/10!! We’ll be back for some late summer fun & of course the Christmas holiday season!

The service, despite the dinner service at Switchgrass, was exceptional. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the service from Gina and Alaina was beyond amazing. I did not like my view and there were no chairs on the balcony. This was our honeymoon and I didn't get the view I wanted and the bed was not comfortable but the service made up for it.

The view was great and the bed was comfortable, but the room wasn't ready at check-in, although we were given drink tickets for the hassle. The alarm sounded at 5:30 am the first morning even though we didn't set it, and the phone made strange noises a 5:00 am the second morning. I really don't appreciate being woken at such early hours BOTH mornings. The housekeeper didn't leave cups for the coffee the second day, so no coffee for us. Overall, I would give 2.5 out of 5 stars.
