The staff is rude and charged extra for nothing

Apparently, the humidity in my room was so high that it left a sheen on the clothes I had hung up. Also, the door to the bathroom is warped, and won't close, for the same reason.

Great place to stay

Welcoming and smiling front desk. Mr. Pratham and Ms Crystal Central location to move around the town. Lots of restaurants around. Ample parking slots.

Establishment was well-maintained, and staff was helpful. One of my bath towels was a little dirty with a dirt (?) stain, but it was no big deal since I was going to use it on the floor outside of the shower. Very quite property, as well.

Can’t adjust your ac because you’ll wake up in puddles of water from all the moisture.

Curb appeal was awesome... I love the 24 hours security but had an instance where I forgot my keyroom , went outside and receptionist acted like she didnt even want to open the door

Great fast service and was allowed to leave and come as you please. Great laundry facilities.

Curb appeal was great ... receptionist acted like it was an inconvenience to help whether asking for towels or shampoo. Not all rooms are available with fridges or microwaves... fire alarms going off at 3am didnt help

The property was very clean. Showers very hot water. Pets welcome. The beds were terrible, no fridge in room, and the one microwave, is in the lobby.

Staff was extremely unprofessional so that we left after 2 hours of our stay Nothing!

My expectations weren’t all that high to begin with because Motel 6’s are typically “you get what you pay for” experiences, but I will say this is by far the nicest one I’ve ever been to. Again, this isn’t “The Ritz”, but for a quick weekend stay at the beach, it was totally fine. Staff was pleasant, rooms were small, but comfortable and relatively clean, lobby was clean, small pool worked well for the littles. Only “knocks” for this place - the 3rd floor carpet had a weird “crawfish” smell lol, and there was a little mold near the shower and mirrors. But all in all this was a surprisingly decent stay for what we paid/expected and we were only there to sleep and leave/explore so worked perfectly fine for us.

Great location. A little ragged condition in the halls, carpets etc. Overall, a decent value and would stay here again.

Good sized room. Good water pressure in shower. Plenty of parking. Good ice machine on 2nd floor. Good location. Room was too cold. No refrigerator or microwave in room. Turned off AC and floor became wet overnight. Outside doors to lobby are locked 24/7.

That it was near everything. Went to see the Selena Museum and her graveside. I asked for a queen, bed looked like a full size. A bit outdated. No closet, just a small space behind TV with a couple of rusted hangers. No iron board, no mini fridge, bed was lumpy. You can hear the springs popping when you'd move. We just needed a room to rest and head out the next morning. No breakfast, I didnt try the coffee.

We stayed on the 3rd floor, and the hallway constantly smelled like food being cooked in the staff living quarters. The odor was very strong and spread throughout the corridor, making it extremely unpleasant and uncomfortable.

The room felt like I was staying at a hostel. Small , no animates,only a packet of shampoo ,small bar of soap. The bathroom floor had real bad condensation while I showered. Musty smell. Very noisy people walking down the halls all night. Ended up canceling one night and checked out early .

The property sits in an awesome location outside of the property is well kept. Our room had mold on the bath room wall and in the shower. The door leading to the other room was poorly installed. Late night guests running through the hallways I would recommend on site security to patrol the floors. The staff on the other hand were awesome very friendly and helpful.

they served no breakfast and they only had vending machines. Coffee was gone before 9am and the pot was put up and not in use. The mattress was hard to sleep on the rooms were not very big and the bathroom door did not lock, table was broke, dead bugs were on the corners, and long hairs were throughout the room before we even got there.

I like that it wasn't noisy, it was generally in a good location. Staff was friendly We had to clean shower ourselves due to improper cleaning by staff before we got the room. Hair on toilet and shower. The A/C condensation builds up under the A/C ,not sure if thats avoidable in the Humid city but we just kept a towel below. The ice machines look like they haven't been cleaned nor serviced in a good while so we only used the ice for ice chests, black flakes came out in the ice. There was a horrid smell on the 3rd floor where we stayed, not sure what it was. Our 2 queen bedroom was insanely tiny, but for the price I guess that's on us. No ironing board or iron, no actual place to unpack clothes, TV is only viewable from one side of room. Thin walls.

Property was very well kept. It is in a great area. Staff was very polite and helpful.

Room was advertised with 1 king size bed. It was a queen size. A/C was hard to adjust. Front desk just made excuses and offered no help. Didn't realize that it is a motel 6 and studio 6. Last time i booked there I got a studio for about the same price. Will be better advised next. Time may book directly with them.

Something went wrong with the air conditioner, and I woke up in the entire room was soaking wet never touched the air conditioner. I don’t know what setting it was supposed to be on. It was the setting they put it on, but I woke up soaking wet, went downstairs ass for help. They offered me more towels to clean up all the water on the floor. That’s not really what I was looking for didn’t sleep half the night because I was soaking wet in my bed.

It was clean, quiet, good location for what we needed.

It’s corpus but those signs point to a problem with the room or the building’s climate control, not just normal coastal weather. They also were very rudely knocking on our door when we still had time to check out. My baby pooped through his shirt and I had to bathe him and get him ready really fast but at 3 minutes passing from check out time they were already yelling at us to get out when we said it’s only 3 minutes after they said they’ll give us 5 minutes or they will charge us $50 late check out fee. Mind you my husband and I travel almost every week and stay at many hotels throughout the week. Never have we gone through that. Rude and unprofessional. Wouldn’t ever go there again. Everything was nice n clean the only thing is that the ac was leaking water not to much of a big deal but I had a wonderful stay all the staff was nice and helpful when I need help would definitely stay there again ❤️❤️

Room service did their job other than mold in every crevice. No microwave or fridge. No utensils even though they have cup noodles in the vending machine. A/C did not work great and when it had issues whole room covered in moisture.

Bare bones hotel but clean, quiet and no bad smells. There was a film of water that formed on the floor when we increased the temperature on the air conditioner from 70 degrees to 75 degrees.

Sheets stained and first room the comforter had blood on it. The second room had stains on the comforter and hairs in the shower and bathroom floor. Right beside the bed there was something on the floor that looked real gross. The room did not get real cool either.

There was no conditioner, tissue, and curtains in the room wouldn't close, no iron or hair dryer.

My ac in my room was leaking water that was something that should be fixed immediately. The are no microwaves or little frig so I couldn’t even buy prep meals so that was a disappointment. But I’d probably pay a little more for a better place

Our stay was wonderful. The lady at the front desk was an angel. I had two small kids by myself and she switched my room to a first floor one and bigger. She was also super friendly. Gave us extra everything. Would definitely enjoy staying again

Nice location but low adequate room. Was told by staff I received a "Motel 6" simple room, no microwave, no mini fridge, small tiny room, because I booked thru a 3rd party. So lessened learned, st Motel 6, DO NOT book thru a 3rd party..!!

Everything was great. The staff were all very nice.

The humidity control in the room was awful. Options were keeping the room temperature at 65° or the room and everything in it would be wet.

I give it three stars out of five poor wasn’t being renovated so no pool but other than that, everything is great

The rook was clean and there were shops and restaurant nearby which was convenient!

One of the best parts was the location everything was conveniently close, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. Overall, a solid and reliable place to stay, especially if you’re looking for comfort and convenience without the high price tag.

Rooms were ok. Hallways were dirty. They advertise pool but they only open during the summer and that was one of the reasons we picked that hotel. The only good thing is that it was close to stores but that’s it

I had to leave the property immediately cause the mattress had stains like blood and black mold, it had black mold under the bed frame and in the restroom. I went to the front desk and the lady felt embarrassed and gave me another room but the same thing was wrong with this room also. Only thing it was worse, half of the mattress under the sheets was stained with black mold and the walls.

The room was cleaned. The shower had several hair’s stuck to the wall. The sink had dirt in it and the floor had a slippery film on it in place’s.

The staff was very nice. The coffee was not good. The carpet on the hallways was dirty and smells. The shower was dirty. The trash cans outside were full.

The room has no closet, no microwave, no coffee pot, no mini fridge and housekeeping only replaced bathtowels and didnt make the beds. And phone didnt work.

Never had issue with clean before, but this time there was some dirty mop splashes. Also a pillowcase had a footprint on it hmm odd. Will not stop me from going again. 👍

We were only there for one night, but considering the hotel is not even 7 years old, we were a little disappointed that we had to kill 3 small roaches. We didn't report them, and we should have, but yea. The staff were friendly, though we really didn't interact with them except to check in. Very simple room. No frills

Every other stay has been excellent. This stay was NOT Good. the bathroom had not been cleaned thoroughly clean, the other guest on the floor did not follow the quiet rule. every hour there was loud taking in the hallway, slamming of doors. I had no rest

I wanted a no frills but, clean, safe place for an overnight stay and this place fitted the bill. Yes, the room was basic with no fridge but was clean and a good choice of tv channels. There is a small pool if thats your thing. No breakfast, but free coffee and for the price I paid it was not an issue. There are several places to eat within 5 minute walk and loads more a short drive away. Happy with my stay.

I liked everything in this hotel really appreciate how easy the check in was and everything else no trouble at all .

Stay was horrible. Place was dirty. There were blood stains on the toilet and bathroom. Raised the temperature in the room to warm it up and it filled with condensation. Walls were in bad shape, like wall paper had been torn off.

Elevators did not work we had to take the stairs not to bad but the stairway stank so bad like pee and was dirty for a newly built hotel it is in horrible condition.

when booking this hotel, do not select two separate nights. i did that and they did not let me stay in my room. they had me check out, and then check back into another room. it was pointless and something they should have been able to fix.
