The staff were helpful when needed. The room smelled wet and moldy. The lighting in the room was dim. The accessible shower had a drainage issue causing water to spill towards the sink. Breakfast was included however, I saw roaches in the dining seating area. Only one elevator was operating and it did not feel safe. The lobby was updated but the rooms need updating.

Poor housekeeping, only came once after letting front desk know that didn’t have any clean towels or toilet paper after 2 days waiting then when they did come only fix 1 of the beds, left 2nd bed undone & sofa bed out as well, no trash pickup

Great stay overall. Nice room and facilities, decent breakfast with good coffee. My only “dislikes” were: (1) charge if need room even 30min earlier (they said “room is ready now, but there is a fee for early check-in”) and (2) charge for “incidentals” of “$100 that is refunded later”?

Ice machines on 3 floors weren't working. The laminate on the room doors is peeling and looks horrible. Bathroom tile was loose and will potentially cause harm if not addressed. The AC in our room would not get cold. All room doors slam when closing which is unnerving.

One elevator was an inconvenience. Close to beach. Pool a little to cold. AC was cold but made noise.

The room set up was weird in my opinion. There wasn't a vent fan in the bathroom. i was traveling with my grown son and his teenage boys. I needed that vent fan. If you know, you know. I also wish there was a microwave. Only one elevator was working. the pool had hair in it. the water is ice cold. The breakfast was ok They need a better toaster. Hair in pool. Toaster sucked. No vent fan in bathroom. Water in shower was slow to drain. room set up was weird. No microwave. They have washers and dryers on one of the floors, but washers were out of order. only one elevator working.

People were friendly and location was good. Breakfast was good too. Overcharged you for incidentals. Over $100 and never told me that this would happen. Door was hard to shut and bathroom too. Towels had black streaks and some had a moldy odor. There were brown stains on the sheets, both beds. The phone looked like it had not been cleaned in a long time. Room was not cleaned and found out you have to ask for this service. It was not the best stay and more than likely no plans to use them again.

Honestly and sadly after staying at this hotel over the last few years for beach trips it’s gone downhill tremendously. Not at all worth what we paid. Very dirty, not clean and no upkeep at all. Cracks in walls, nasty showers w rust, terrible doors that don’t close and then don’t barely open. Stained bedding and towels. Poor was ice cold for being indoors. The locations seem to have done down hill and be sketchy now. However the water cooler was a nice addition if only the ice machine which has been out of order last 2 stays had been working! Sorry not looking to stay here again for what guest pay work on the upkeep! Good luck!

Bathroom door didn’t close, linens were dirty, ac was soooo loud, doors were dirty, shower curtain was disgusting.

The breakfast was good There was no option for a bathtub, no microwave in the room, the blinds had holes and the exit stairs had an odor. Only one of the elevators was working.

We had a different hotel booked but had to leave due to the hotel being a disaster. Booked Hyatt hotel in 10 mins after not having where to stay. Glad we found this hotel. Check in was quick and smooth, the gentleman at check in gave us great recommendations for food and what to do. Only complaint was our hotel room had dust on the floor and we couldn’t walk barefoot. But everything else was great.

Free breakfast was good. Staff overall friendly. Gym was closed, ice machine also out of service.

We stayed overnight and the elevator was broken and left us trapped on the 3rd floor. The vents were dirty, shower water pressure was sad. Unfortunately we will not be staying there again.

The room was dirty and seemed like it was not maintained properly. The overall feel of the hotel was that is not very well taken care of.

I booked with this hotel because of the reviews. The breakfast was good and plenty. I was there for the weekend July 25 & 26. One elevator was broken and the only one that was working would stop running for short periods of time. The ice machine was out of order and the room had a distinctive smell if the ac unit put at 74 and would go away if dropped to 70.

If I could give this property NEGATIVE 10 points I would no doubt. They canceled my reservation because they overbooked, no phone call or email to warn me they canceled it…. I was told that booking cancelled and it turned out the property disregarded the late check in request which was granted by THEM!!! They do not honor the policy agreement they have with booking and just do as they please regardless…. I found myself calling nearby family with no place to stay because they cancelled. My family was exhausted and had to drive 3 hours home at midnight because we had no choice. EXTREMELY BAD EXPERIENCE to say the least. EVERYTHING

The manager was never available to talk to me. When we checked out they told me she was going to call and never did. I will never stay here again.

The spiket in the tub was loose from the wall and the bottom of the shower curtain was starting to discolor. Staff was nice and pleasant to talk too. Breakfast was ok.. Would like to have a waffle maker of pancake machine. Would like to have towels in the pool area instead of going to front desk for it. Only one ice machine was working, so had to go to a different floor in the morning before it was emptied.

Room across us had roaches and the people had to be moved. Gentleman up front was great, always apologetic but a lady who maybe had her daughter there at the bar were having issues, and she didn’t help us when we came in - visiting with someone. Blonde young lady super nice and helpful! I’m sorry to say I will not stay here again- really disappointed as it was my birthday celebration. Oh never got a room receipt!!

Very well maintained property, attentive staff and super, super clean! Five stars all the way, would definitely recommend.

Stayed on the fourth floor and room was very clean. Only issue was we only had hot water. So it was hard to shower because you could not get it to go warm. Also the mini fridge was not cooling properly. Front desk did help store our food so that was nice. The elevator needs to get checked. It works but does make a sound like you are going to fall right before exiting. Employees say it’s normal and has been that way but That can become dangerous the day it gives out. Also the ice machine isn’t working. Both those things I did read about before I stayed so didn’t bother me much just making you aware. We never encountered roaches like I’ve read in other comments. Our room was clean and comfy. AC worked really well too.

Now this seemed like a very old not very well maintained Hotel and I don’t blame the staff for this at all. I think it’s definitely an owners decision because they would have to be going to their hotel to see your property and see what’s going on with it. From every single door needing a very strong push or a very strong pull to open because they’re so damaged or old that I even struggled with the glass doors, to the clogged drains in the rooms and a sink that doesn’t work in the ladies restroom in the first floor, to the loud foot steps you can hear from the people above your room from probably just walking, to just random little things around the hotel that are just outdated and falling apart. Ooh! The ice machine wasn’t working and my fridge in my room when I first got in there had a leak, but then rattled so much it woke me up in the middle of the night. Maybe not a full renovation but definitely some good TLC and good maintenance to keep that place comfortable.

Our bathroom door would not open properly. The bottom was expanded from moisture. Every time you opened it you would have to lift hard and it would scrape. Asked to switch rooms but the hotel was completely full.

Only had 1 elevator working and the working one sounded like it was gonna break at any moment. I used the dryer and my clothes were wet still like it didn’t dry at all, and we were looking for one of the kids shoes so I looked under the bed and there was a thick layer of dust and someone’s old socks, and we went to break fast it didn’t feel like there was enough food for all the people who went and only 2 people seemed to be working the kitchen area it looked like they were doing the best they could but weren’t prepared for the amount of families there. But all staff was friendly and we loved the pool and front desk was helpful with a billing issue we had. We had pre paid and were charged more then the deposit fee and she fixed what the issue was. And over all the place was nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Place is totally under staffed....we were triple charged for room deposit....dog hair in elevators...elevators didn't work....had my personal belongings stole out the back of my truck...horrible experience for the money we paid....stay clear

The hotel provided everything we need for a comfortable stay on our 4 day 4th of July road trip. We will probably stay there again if we go back to Corpus Christi.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hotel facilities were well maintained and the staff was friendly.

Easy check in nice hotel, big rooms, plenty of towels. Shower was a little backed up but was fine. Asked for extra pillows n blanket for pull out couch said 1 in room and don't have extra. The breakfast closes at 9. went at 830am. Stuff was ran out, did not restock eggs, sausages, or potatoes. Breakfast consisted of yogurt, fruit, juices, milk, coffee, bread n bagels, cereal, eggs, sausage, and potatoes. The bagels were hard. Nice pool,n nice work out area. Quiet hotel. Nice lobby w places to sit down and eat. Overall id stay here again. Both elevators working.

Location

Breakfast was not good. No oatmeal available, and when I asked if they were bringing some more out they said they "were out". I am gluten free so that left me with very few breakfast options that I don't usually eat. Also their "hot water " was barely warm, and their common drinking area water filtering machine required a several minute wait before a water was being dispensed.

Everything was nice and clean at this property.

Not somewhere we would stay again but was ok for location and price.

Working and the elevators that DID work would Make a horrible noise when you used it. You could hear this noise in the room down the hall from the elevator. It felt like a gamble every time you stepped on it to get to the lobby or your room floor. The elevator would shift randomly when it was stopped on a floor. The ice machine didn’t work on the 3rd and 4th floor, only the second floor. Washer and dryer were $2.00 each but where always in use. Pool was nice my kids very much enjoyed it. Staff were helpful and doing their best.

When we arrived, we took out the fold out bed and it was full of hair, dirt and a dirty q-tip. As far as the extra set that is stored in the closet: the pillow had long black hair on it and it looked like they had a hair product because it looked greasy. Also, the blanket from there was missing. When I went down to ask for one, they didnt have any washed. The bathroom door hit the toilet everytime i opened and closed it. The ceiling looked like it was renovated and not painted. Breakfast was good. But the tea bags were wet. :/ So I didnt use them

The breakfast is standard with breakfast included. The bar was not stocked so if you drink you could only take shot. The pool was clean but if you can not handle cold water it not for you. If while your in the pool it was still cold you could not adapted to the temp. The elavators needs to be serviced. One was out of order and the second is going out.

The room was clean but you could see the wear and tear. The breakfast could be better. It was nice but expected better.

The location was perfect. Unfortunately, my family and were here only for a family funeral at Seaside Memorial Services. The hotel was clean, well maintained and friendly staff. The indoor pool did smell or chlorine awhole lot though. The Saltgrass Restaurant is right next door too.

Nice hotel. Pictures do not match. Breakfast was good and Saltgrass steakhouse is next door. Paid for high floor. Really no complaints just the pictures do not match the location. Pool as well but would stay again.

The hotel was nice, but it needs some TLC. Only one elevator working so waited about five minutes to take my luggage up one floor. Upside: the staff was very friendly.

I also liked the water filter in the lobby for personal use.

Great experience overall. We had plenty of room. The guy that checked us in had superb customer service! There were 2 adults 2 teen boys and a 6 yr old. We had the double queen suite with the pullout. Plenty of room for the 6 yr old to run around and boys to stretch out. They had plenty of towels for room & pool. Great breakfast hours. Floors were even clean. Plenty of breakfast with great hours. The pullout had a dirty makeup stain on the corner, but we were too exhausted to worry about it & the water gets warm for showers but not hot. The pool water is cold. I'd definitely stay here again.

Nova was wonderful in the front! I’m an exclusive pumper and she was so helpful with our fridge not working properly and got my milk taken care of until they could swap our fridge out! We had a wonderful time at the pool and would stay again!

The hotel is old for me. The room was spacious and had comfortable beds, but the side stink like mold. Like the sofa was cleaned with a dirty wet towel. So either need to get the smell out or replace it completely. The breakfast was ok. The swimming pool is small.

Great stay!! Located close to many restaurants. Room was spacious. The only issue was that the bathroom door didn’t close properly. I’ll still give a 5 star since the issue with the door was very minimal.

Overall look of the property is real great, the lobby looks clean and upscale, the breakfast is great, taste real good, however it seems the staff cares too much about waste or did not calculate correctly as there was constantly lines forming due to food running out, same with coffee. Rooms also looks great initially, but the cleaning staff could do a better job, there was a lot of dust and strains in the floor that could be easily removed but stayed there as if overlooked. Wife and one of my kids allergies spiked up during the stay and stopped a day after checkout. Lastly they don't tell you in Expedia that the property will charge you $100 as a retaining fee in case of any issue, that is supposed to be back to my card after a few days after checkout... We'll see.

Maybe I missed it during check in, but we had no housekeeping service during our 3 night stay. I am used to at least having beds done, even with no towel service. We did get clean towels on our second night and trash out, but no beds made. Not what I am used to and don't recall anything being shared about housekeeping. Overall, good location, price point and would stay here again.

Very clean room

House Keeping let another family into our room while we were sleeping. When I went out to the Hallway to see what was happening the same Family was checking all visitor doors on the 4th Floor. Reported the issue to the front desk but they said a manager wasn't available until a few days later. Reported issue to Hyatt escalation Team and they never followed up on the HIGH Security issue.

The walls by the desk had some very large green buggers stuck on the walls that was just absolutely nasty to look at. To top it off, the room also had German Roaches. My children and I had to kill 3 of them our selves. Absolutely a terrible experience, and I would not trade Hilton again for this place.

The property seems nice and clean at reception but unfortunately it stops there. Our door needed to be body slammed to open and close it. The floors were filthy, mold in the shower, "fresh" towels smelled. This isn't the hotels fault but the guests the floor above us must have had 18 kids or inconsiderate adults that ran and stomped all day, all night and all morning. The blackout curtains are ill fitting and let a lot of light in.

Great area, easy breakfast and location!

The staff was super nice. The room was clean. It was a bit dated, but overall not bad. Didn’t have the breakfast cause the food around the area is worth a try. The bar seemed to be used by many folks. I’m thinking it was good not much of a drinker overall would stay there again.

Our stay thankfully was short. The restroom door had to be pushed or pulled with force because it dragged the ground. The tub and toilet need to be replaced.

No waffle maker for the breakfast?! Broke my heart. Although, they did serve hot food which was nice. Trouble with the AC as well. I dont think I have ever been hot in a hotel room and there was no adjusting it. They provided a pack and play for my baby which was so convenient and lightened our load for packing.

Out of the 4 days we booked, our room was not cleaned once. No towels or sheets. We ended up staying an extra night and still nothing. The breakfast buffet was chaotic. With a singular man filling up his plate with all the sausage. The pool was good. My kids had a great time swimming. The washer and dryer were out of order so I couldn't wash anything I needed to. The girl who worked the night was always so very helpful and nice. She always did her best! Overall I'd like to stay again but would love to see rooms cleaned or even just beds and towels touched up everyday. Limits at breakfast. Most of all happy workers, aside from the woman at night.

Place was okay the smell right off the bat threw me off. And then our room filled up with that foul smell. Luckily it was on our lady day as we were checking out. The pool was okay. Nothing wow worthy

The truth is .. Looks are very deceiving. It was convenient in location but i expected more ..especially that it was a Hyatt property. The elevators sucked, my step kids were freaked out cause we got stuck in the elevator. I just was lookin forward to a cleaner and more comfortable stay for my bday weekend.

The biggest issue was the smell—both the lobby and our room had a strong mildew odor that never went away. It made the environment feel unclean and uncomfortable. Housekeeping was also extremely lacking. They would come in just to drop off towels but didn’t sweep, clean, or even take out the trash during our stay, which is basic service you expect at any hotel. To make matters worse, I actually got stuck in the elevator, which was frustrating and concerning. Even when they were working, the wait times were ridiculous—expect to wait 10–15 minutes just to get on one. Overall, this was a terrible experience, and I would not recommend staying here.

We paid a significant amount for a five-night stay, and unfortunately, it did not meet expectations for a hotel rated over four stars. Upon arrival, one of the queen beds had what appeared to be dried blood and makeup stains on the comforter. The pull-out bed for my son was also in very poor condition—the mattress was extremely thin, and he could feel the metal bars underneath. We requested a replacement comforter and extra bedding for padding. Although the manager assured us these would be delivered, we never received them despite following up. There were also major cleanliness and maintenance issues. The hallway walls had visible mold, and the walls in our room were dirty and clearly not properly cleaned. The hot water was unreliable due to issues with the water heaters, and at one point, another guest mentioned trying to fix them. We also had difficulty getting towels, the pool was not clean, and there was a recurring sewer odor on our floor. I spoke with the manager several times, but no action was taken. At checkout, he offered a discount and said he would follow up, but I never received any communication and have not gotten a response to my email. There were other issues but since i dont have enough room to text it, I just covered the basics . Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel.
