Very nice room. A little pricey but it was the closest to the location we’d needed. Didn’t have time to try breakfast or amenities. Room was very nice. Had a very nice sitting area, a little kitchenette and beds were comfy.

During one of the most difficult times in my life, while moving my dying mother back to my home in another state, the staff showed us incredible kindness, compassion, and genuine care. They even surprised us with an upgrade to a suite after learning what our family was going through, and that thoughtful gesture meant more than they’ll ever know. I’ve stayed at this location several times over the years, and every visit has been exceptional. They truly make you feel like family, always greeting you with warm smiles and outstanding customer service. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast is always delicious with plenty of options. If you’re looking for a place to stay in the Calallen area, I wholeheartedly recommend this Holiday Inn Express. Thank you to the entire staff for your kindness, generosity, and for making such a difficult time just a little bit easier. I’ll always be grateful for your care and hospitality.

Ghe staff was amazing. Attentive and cared. The hotel.was spotlessly clean. Breakfast had something for everyone, and was a bit different everyday. For a family friendly hotel on a budget, id give this hotel 10 stars!

All was really good. Breakfast was alright.

Friendly staff. Breakfast attendant Saturday and Sunday is great and keeps everything well stocked. Clean property and rooms. Only thing I would note is that the rooms smell a bit mildewy. Other than that, great place to stay. Second time there. Also, easy accessibility to freeways.

Our stay at the Calallen location was wonderful. The staff was so friendly and professional, and they answered my question about the destination for a college graduation. Very clean facilities and a large variety of breakfast options. Will definitely book at this location in the future.

We’ve inquired with booking dot com for a refund immediately upon checking in. You’ve been unhelpful. The hotel has inquired on our behalf. The room was disgusting and full of roaches. As it was in the middle of the building on the third floor we were not confident that any other room there wouldn’t also have them as well. Hotels dot com is the worst and I’m officially done with this app. At midnight July 4th our only option was to turn around and go home or sleep in the car.

We had a GREAT stay! Manny at the front desk is just an exceptional human being all around full of kindness and so well spoken! The GM Thomas made sure we were taken care of by providing outstanding service. The hotel inside and out was very clean and we used ALL of the facilities! The breakfast was good with enough variety to accommodate our big family. The ladies in the breakfast area were also very nice. Housekeeping made sure we had fresh towels and checked on us daily. We will certainly stay here again!

Very Comfortable Room !

I thought I had clicked on one King size bed as my wife and I both use breathing machines and needed bed stands on both sides of the bed. They said I had standard room of 2 queen beds which only have one bed stand between them. Normally the hotels would accommodate us with a change if they had it available, but NO! They said if I had reserved my room with them They would change it, BUT since I went through a THIRD PARTY they would have to charge me for ANOTHER room!!!! I was furious telling them they had already been paid for my room and was going to leave but my wife was tired and we had paid for a room so we stayed. I have had excellent service at Holliday Inn Express in Pharr, Texas but I will never use this place again and I have already spread the word on their greed.

Booked other hotel stays previously that didnt live up to safe and clean conditions. Looking at you Quality Inn located at Medical Center in San Antonio. Spent a bit extra on this hotel and it was by far one of the cleanest facilities, great staff, friendly, great breakfast, spacious, and quiet.

This hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff is super friendly both on the phone and in-person! What could be better is the water pressure and 3rd floor vending (ice) machine fixed. Maybe added Wifi information to each room.

The hotel is amazing. Great location, extremely clean. Mosquitos were abysmal, but that's South Texas in August. I reserved 3 king rooms for 3 nights each but they were *not* available when we arrived - only 2 kings and 1 queen "suite." The desk person blamed me using hotels.com for my reservation. Holiday Inn? Why do you allow your rooms to be advertised on hotels.com if you aren't going to honor the entire reservation? hotels.com? Why do you engage in deceptive reservations?

I didn’t like the way that they only made your bed or clean the bed every three days I think you should be doing that every day

Paper thin walls. Could hear everything from the neighbors. As we were leaving we found a huge spider on the 2nd bed, just doesn’t seem appropriate for the price.

The service was great and it was a near flawless stay except for the hard beds.

The walk-in shower was nowhere to be found and the mattress was horrible. We woke up still and our backs hurting. The facility was very clean and the staff was very polite and helpful. The shower never got hot but warm enough to get clean.

Not very clean. Arrived and there was hair on the toilet seat, and the shower was cracked around the faucet. Bathroom floor kind of gross with mold or something growing. Pool area was ok but no beach towels to use. I asked for extra towels from the front desk and the woman told me housekeeping was on the 3rd floor and that I could find her and get extra towels. They were accommodating with an extra blanket and breakfast was good with a lot if choices. Just not great for what I paid for.

Out of town, laundry service for customer not available. How long has it been like that???? With construction workers, miners and tuck drivers on the go, it should be operable.

The hotel was really nice. Breakfast was good and the service was even better. Corpus is kind of spaced out from everything, but this location is good for any reason to book.

Room was humid and stayed that way the entire time. The toilet was loose(?) and every time you sat on it and got up it banged loudly against the wall. The water pressure was ridiculously awful making it difficult to wash and condition long hair. The tv was too small to be so far from the bed. There were no usb connections to charge phones.
