We had a late arrival at 8:30 pm and the 1st room we were assigned was not clean so we were assigned another room which was fine. There were no carts for luggage when we arrived. The attendant said he needed to make a run to the other floors to see if he could bring some down. But even at check out we never saw any. The a/c made a lot of noise during the night but we didn't complain. It's just that we used to stay at Hampton Inn in Corpus but after an incident with them, we started staying at this Holiday Inn. It was fine the 1st 2 visits but this 3rd one has us thinking we may need to look at another hotel. We spent almost $500 for 2 nights. Disappointing.

The swimming pool was also not available due to maintenance issues, but the staff did offer to access the pool at the adjacent hotel. Our biggest issue was that we were served with not-so-well maintained accommodations. The continental breakfast was fine, beds were comfortable with clean linens, and the staff was very courteous and helpful, but for a high-rated hotel, we expected a nicer room with a nicer, fully functioning bathroom at minimum.

Breakfast was great! The breakfast area was well maintained and serviced. The manager that evening assured me that motorcycle parking could be secured if I reserved ahead of time and that I could use the lower floor/room to keep and eye on my motorcycle. The toilet was not up to par but the issue was quickly resolved. There were no cups available but we were given four upon request from the office.

Staff lied to us when we first arrived , we had a big family an asked if they had a luggage cart they said someone stole it the next day other people were useing it lol

Staff lied about whether my room would be available when I called twice to let them know I would be arriving very late due to work in San Angelo taking longer than expected. The front desk made it seem perfectly simple to re-activate my reservation.

Our stay at the Holiday Express was great. It was clean and very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay there again.

Bathroom not totally clean. Toilet especially. Not enough towels.

Location was fine. We arrived at midnight and saw the room was not clean. The air smelt damp, crumbs of food on the floor and on the bed, the toilet handkerchief was broken. Worst of all, there was a drop of blood on the bathroom floor. I was so disgusted that I decided against having breakfast in that facility!!!

Bare basics. Clean and friendly. Jacuzzi had no heat, very disappointing. Breakfast was adequate

Staff, specially the cleaning staff, were very helpful. The beds are were very comfortable. Walking into the hotel the trashcan outside was full of trash, and the front door was loud. Floor was wet around the lobby because of the pool.

Rooms were old & outdated. Beds/pillows were comfortable. Bathrooms weren’t that good of condition, especially the tub shower. The AC unit leaked so I was moved to a new room that smelled like mildew & that bathtub was even worse condition than the 1st one. And there was a random dirty blue towel hanging up in that room they moved us to. Most of the staff was pleasant & helpful. Stains on the floor of the new room. The complimentary breakfast was mediocre.

the staff was well and very helpful. the hot tub wasn’t working. they are working on it and the pool area smelled a little musty and moldy.

The staff was.amazing. The AC was good. The breakfast was good and the coffe machine kept me happy. Staff was attentive and nice.

There was bugs in my room and the AC was leaking and it left the carpet wet the entire time

The computer system was down so check in took a bit long and receptionist was having hard time verifying that full payment was made bfore giving me room key

Our bathroom lacked one of the two lights, the entry door sagged and rubbed at the top, the shower drain was somewhat slow, and there were no complimentary cups available in the room but the staff was quick to give us the cups. Good location right off SPI Boulevard.

Room was dirty… soaked in water damage from a previous storm or ac damage. Sheets and white comforter has a blood smudge on them. Booked for hot tub… was not working nor did they tell us when we checked in. Manager literally expected us to stay in a room that needed maintenance. We were baffled he made the excuse that they ac needed maintenance but yet felt comfortable charging us full price. No one offered to move us either. Poor job all around…

Clean room and no issues with guests or staff. Peaceful stay!

The blinds were broken and I couldn’t sleep with the parking lot lights getting to the room

Very good location. Hot breakfast was good. Outdated. Room smelt old and musty that they were obviously trying to cover up with some other weird scent. Bed was comfortable but did not smell clean. Paint on walls and window sills was chipped and there was a hole in the ceiling above the bed. Maybe for a camera. The shower had very little pressure.

The only parts that were just average were our actual room appearance and the selection of items for breakfast. Our room had stains on the carpet, bare white walls (no decorations or framed art prints), and the pillows weren't that great. We were there for 2 breakfast mornings, and on both mornings, the eggs were not hot (just kinda warm), and we were hoping for bacon on 1 of the 2 mornings, but all they had was turkey sausage patties both days. The potatoes and omelets were just ok. We would have liked more selection in the pastry / muffins container. We've had better selections at other Holiday Inn Express locations.

The inside pool was bad idea

The rooms are clean, nice staff, spacious bathrooms and clean facilities the beds are super comfortable the ac in the rooms works so well and it’s a very quiet place to rest no disturbances at all. Great location.

Halls and room were clean and well lite. Parking was a problem, not enough spaces.

Hotel smelled musty from lobby to room, when we left on Saturday to go to my grandsons graduation, we came back the room wasn't cleaned, yet someive with a key to our room entered, took a bag with my mom's medication, combs and brushes in it, and turned our a/c off, so we returned to a hot musty uncleaned room and meds stolen. I then remembered a Hispanic male vacuuming thd

The hot tub was not working. The pool is indoors and a/c was not working so it was hot and humid Was not able to enjoy the pool area.

The room itself was ok; AC wasn’t working properly. Hallways were HOT and the lobby and hallway carpets were dirty.

Breakfast was good but they don't refill every thing for more serving or for people who come later to breakfast

This is the second holiday inn i have stayed in this month. although this hotel is old need updates. the room was cleaner than the previous hotel. The bathroom in the lobby both toilets clogged and smelled horrible. breakfast was ok. i guess i got what I paid for

Honestly the hotel needs a little TLC and also has a weird smell. Doesn't feel clean.

Room felt a little too damp. The hot tub was not working. One of the peepholes in the door was missing a cover. Staff was nice but i felt like things at the property couldve been better.

The staff was great and they helped us the best they could. The hotel itself needed some repairs. There was damage in the dining room and in our hotel room and the faucets weren’t working well. Our room had so much moisture in the floor that you felt very sticky. Seemed that maybe at some point the air conditioner or a pipe in the bathroom leaked all under the carpet and was never properly handled. Finally the lounge chair in our room had a potentially biological residue all over it. Again the staff was great and the food was good but the room and condition of the hotel was less than par.

The pancake maker never worked during our stay and there was no juice or water to drink only milk.

The staff was nice and some aspects of the hotel were good. The room we received was dirty with a bunch of crumbs on furniture and countertops, room smelled strong of marijuana that we tried to use perfume and bought lysol at the store but it was too over powering, the fridge had brown liquid, and the toilet had some urine on the rim.

This hotel was a complete BUST! We booked this property because it was advertised as having a pool and hot tub. While those amenities were present, neither could be used as the water was ICE cold. As someone from Minnesota, we swim in cold water most of the year and it was far too cold for us. The "fitness center" was so hot inside, it was hard to breathe. The rooms were ok, at best. Lots of repairs needed. Continental breakfast, another joke. I was really looking forward to a nice place to lay our heads during a road trip; this was NOT the place. The guy who checked us in was kind, and that is my only compliment.

We had reservations for a double queen bed and was given 1 king bed instead.

We got no house keeping service

The staff member that checked us in was very kind and profeasional. There were several young adults and kids there running up and down the halls slamming doors. The hotel is not clean at all. The fridge was full of rust the bathroom was not clean either.

Overall the place and parking felt safe and the staff was nice. I didn’t like how I reserved for 5 guest and there was only 2 towels. The couch bed did not have any sheets and had to go ask for some at the receptionist. Then the cleaning service said to give the dirty towels and they will wash and drop off more later. We never got more towels when I went to ask the receptionist they said they were out of towels. The breakfast was also not great. Pancake machine was not working and not many options.

The location is 15 to the airport and 15 minutes in the other direction to Mustang Island . The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is dated and the a/c was rusted and the bathroom was in bad need of caulking but I guess that’s normal for a beach town. You could stick a book in the opening between the door and door jam , the door looked too small but overall, it suited our needs!

Breakfast was very good. Tables were clean Bathroom sink did not drain however when reported to front desk action was taken immediately

Low water pressure, which I was looking forward to a good hot shower. Breakfast good have been so much better for being a IHG. But in the other hand hotel was clean and bed was very comfortable.

Shower had mold, etc. around floor pan. Needed to be cleaned and re-caulked.

The heated pool was freezing cold and the hot tub was out of order. Breakfast was a disappointment- no milk, no yogurt, no fruit, no boiled eggs, no waffles, and the juice tasted awful. I just was shocked. Apparently customer service has gone downhill. I will not be staying at a holiday inn or holiday inn express anytime in my future.

Room was in good condition but staff did not clean room until late afternoon. Breakfast was not good. Sausage patties were dry as hokey pucks.

This property has serious problems!! It is NOT like the other IHG properties!! A week before our trip we requested interconnecting rooms, Trisha said she would write it down in the notes. Unfortunately we were not granted our request. We asked again at check-in, we were ignored! We shrugged it off and just let it go. We stayed at the property for 4 nights. Day1- we return to our room that evening and the room was not cleaned at all!! No clean towels, trash in containers from not being emptied, beds not made, etc. We talked with Joe the person in charge that evening ( behind the counter) we asked him if rooms get cleaned everyday he said “Yes”. We complained to him that no one had cleaned our room. He apologized and said he was sending an email to the housekeeping department. He got us fresh towels. Day2- Room was semi clean Day3-Room was not cleaned again! Trash was not emptied. We had to go ask for clean towels again from Joe. So frustrating!! Day4- Check out day. No one at the front desk, we found this to be very odd! Because that’s when the manager was going to be available. Breakfast was a let down!! Horrible experience, we will not go back to this location. This location fell way below the standards of Holiday Inn Express!

Yes the Hotel felt neglected. This place is starting to look neglected and showing signs of disrepair and lack of maintenance. Room 204, the thermostat on the wall no longer works. The bathroom door is hard to close. It scraps the floor and has water damage to the bottom of the door. The shower looks dirty and dingy. Mildew on the shower ceiling and around the bottom of shower pan. There is rust on the window AC/Heat unit. The pool hot tub was broken...freezing cold. The pool looks bad..... When I walked in the front counter guy was on the phone with someone having problems with the toilet not flushing. When the elevator is coming down and going up you hear " fluids running" maybe water. I then took the stairs. I'm not staying here again.

Toilet and shower were not as clean

Fairly close to eating places & shopping & didn’t hear a lot of street traffic !!! Thank You Holiday Inn Express & Suites !!! Our stay was Friday evening through Monday morning !!! Well my preference is a firmer King bed for my husband and I ,school buses took up to much parking, need a spot just for buses, kids were loud until there bed time !!! Room smelled musty,probably needs air freshener to AC unit.

Didn't have breakfast ended at 9 am too early. When walking in strong scent of clorox and pine pine not pleasant smell. The cooler did not cool enough .

The beds were comfortable the hall and room smelled horrible. It was if the floors and hard surfaces had not been cleaned since the hotel opened. We went to a local CVS and purchased cleaning products just to stomach the smell.

Next, the place was not very clean. There was dark mold growing along the base of the shower. There was a belly up dead roach on the floor at the breakfast area. The breakfast choices were skimpy compared to other Holiday Inn Express locations. No yogurt in the mini fridge and the milds in there were not very cold. The hallways were hot, stuffy, and uninviting. The AC was noisy. All in all, I will avoid this location if I travel to Corpus Christi again unless they fix these issues

We enjoyed our stay

Parking was very limited while i stayed here. The hotel had construction trucks all over the parking lot and was unable to park in tbe hotel parking lot.
