Went well. The room on the 15th floor was nice, with a frig, and coffee and tea. Had a beautiful view of the bay. The pool was a nice addition. Parking was an additional $18. The only problem were the elevators. They are slow. You can only access the 3-story parking garage from ground floor. I understand it. It's a security feature. That said, it's a pain because you have to go to the ground floor, then, change elevators to go to parking garage. When we checked out, there were probably 20 people waiting to ride to the ground floor, on the slow elevators. All the elevators that were going down were full. I finally figured out that we jump on an empty elevator going UP. Other than that, all was well. Elevators.

HUGE line for the elevator after a concert. Stairs were “emergency only” which was very inconvenient. Additionally turning throughout the garage was TIGHT. Finding a parking space took time too. ALSO, a huge line to check in & NO AC on in the lobby..

Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The room was not properly hygienic, and the bathroom/toilet was extremely old and poorly maintained. Given the condition of the room, we decided to check out after the first night and requested a refund for the unused night. However, we were told that a refund was not possible, leaving us with no choice but to check out without receiving any refund. For an anniversary stay, we expected a much better experience, especially considering the price we paid. The view may have been good, but the cleanliness and overall condition of the room were far below our expectations. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the cleanliness, maintenance, and guest service.

Liked the view from behind a locked and non accessible balcony door. The front desk staff was polite, cordial, and helpful. We enjoyed a nice dinner on the patio with a view of the marina. The lack of cleanliness was evident as soon as the elevator door opened to the tenth floor, leading directly to the room. The comforter had stains, the carpet was not vacuumed, and the toilet was not properly cleaned.

The first night's room was dingy, bathroom sink faucet was missing some pieces, the sheets were itchy and the outside noise was horrible! Did NOT get any sleep. Asked fir a different room the next night, but the front desk staff has us waiting there for more than 20 minutes while they unsuccessfully communicated to the housekeeping staff they locked us out of room. Also, this Holiday Inn charged for breakfast where other ones do not. And they hardly had any parking even though we paid for it. I will NOT go back. It was not clean, it was overpriced and other guests complained about that exact same things.

Great location, big room. Jason at check in was great. One of the staff members was extremely rude. There was a private event and we were trying to access the elevator up to our room there was no signage indicating that the area was closed, she yelled at us 3 different times to tell us it was a private event we told her there were no signs to direct us. It was awful everyone was looking at us, we felt embarrassed. Also the rooms need update everything looks pretty old.

Room key didn’t work, after driving 4 hours had to go back down 12 floors with two dogs and a 5 year old boy to address it-bad battery in lock. Room dirty, all kinds of trash behind bed head frame. No toilet paper, noticed after I used the toilet. And one of the toilet paper holders was broken. Missing items from room like a trash can and ice bucket, breakfast was a joke, no: pastries, waffles, no yogurt or decent fruit. Staff was stingy with drinks, no pool towels, elevators a nightmare, stay on a lower floor the view isn’t worth the hassle. Clerk forgot we paid for breakfast, had to remind her. We stayed in a double queen room, enough for 4 guests, but only provided towels for 3. Cold water bathroom sink faucet loose and spins around. Half of the issues we had was a “housekeeping” issue. Competent staff should have caught half these issues. The pool lining is buckled in several areas in the outside pool. This is my 1st and last stay at a Holiday Inn. And I paid for three rooms for my family reunion and all rooms had issues. Need more luggage carts too. Waited 30 minutes for a cart, finally gave up and got our beach wagon out of our car so we could pack and go so we could make check-out time.

TLDR: Clean room, friendly staff, plan on assistance taking a while, dont pay for anything extra. I got a high floor room of the building nextdoor. Desk crew was kind, but understaffed. Waited 30mins to check out because only one person was helping guests. Bartender was very kind and friendly. Breakfast staff was kind, but I never got the chance to eat because I needed a voucher, but the front desk was always too busy to help.

Check in was extremely slow. With 4 employees behind the desk only one would check in those waiting. Once I was able to check in it was extremely slow process even though room was pre paid. Hallways were very dirty and looked as they hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. Dirt, sand, smashed chips and pretzels all over hallway. 24 hour later and it was still there. Areas under chair and next to nightstand had trash and dirt. As if cleaning crew did not move furniture to ensure cleanliness. Wouldn’t stay here again.

When I got to my room, I was immediately disappointed. The furniture was loose, worn out, and looked like it had seen much better days. The balcony door was screwed shut, had a large gap in the bottom corner, and was covered in duct tape residue, making it look very unprofessional and unappealing. The bathroom is in desperate need of updating. There was hair and crumbs on the bed, mold on the ceiling, and the wall vent was extremely dirty. Overall, the room did not feel clean or well maintained. I expect much more from a Holiday Inn. While the staff members were friendly and courteous, the condition of the hotel simply doesn't justify the price. I could have stayed at a better hotel—or even a motel—for the same amount of money. If I had been staying longer than one night, I would have canceled my reservation after seeing the room and gone somewhere else.

Wonderful location, cleanliness, most staff was helpful minus initial check-in, but it a little before midnight & who knows how their day had gone. The location & bay view are great. Parking is $17/day and if breakfast $10/person daily. The only improvement suggested is maintenance; wallpaper pealing, border missing,… very small things. Hubby is maintenance, someone like myself wouldn’t notice much.

Overall property is worn down. Balconies are not accessible for “guest safety”. Main elevators were slow and always congested. Hope you like waiting in line to get up to your room. Parking garage was overloaded with oversized vehicles the first night of our stay, people not parking within lines and taking up more than one space aggravated the situation. Elevator to parking garage smelt like vomit the entire stay. This morning there was someone sleeping in the lobby by the piano.

Once we arrived they told us that Expedia had booked us in a room they didn’t have available and we would only be getting a one bed instead of the two that we had booked for the price and we would get a roll in bed that was very uncomfortable! And I found it very unprofessional how The front desk manager sarcastically said “ we are at-least trying to accommodate you since the third party company booked a room we didn't have” I believe they should be paying more attention into what rooms show that are available on Expedia instead of insinuating that it is the customers fault for booking through Expedia very unprofessional.

Do not book this place!! from the moment you pull up to valet your car the attendant will not leave his station. He waits for you to come to him just a point to the parking garage and tells you to park on the 2nd floor. Checking into the hotel was long but understandable at 4pm. My biggest issue was the breakfast the next morning that I paid extra for and the service was horrible. The hotel was packed given that there was a baseball tournament in town and half of the seating was taken but the other half of the seating was taken up by dirt dishes. No one was bussing the tables so of course they ran out of silverware a plates and the staff was just standing around so we had to clear our own tables. The food was good, but it did give me an upset stomach and of course, when you go to the bathroom in the lobby, they’re out of toilet paper. The 2nd night was horrible since the room next to use were kids that had been left unattended and they were kicking the doors screaming and fighting. It wasn’t the Hotel‘s fault but I did call twice to get them to come up there and get them to stop since there were no parents around but thank god the parents came back later that night

We stayed one night and that was 1 night too long. We tried checking in early but they said the rooms weren't ready yet, totally understandable. They gave us multiple time estimates and then finally the 3rd time we checked, our room was ready. We head to our room and the door was open with just the latch holding the door. We walked in and there was hair in the bathroom, the bed, etc. We weren't happy but figured its only 1 night and it could be just hair from the dryers? My kids wanted to swim so I took them to the pool. There were globs of hair floating in the pool, my son stepped on a bandaid and it reeked of Marijuana. Later that night when we came back from dinner, our key card wouldn't work. So I went to the front desk which was super busy. I learned they only had 2 housekeepers for the entire hotel so they needed to cancel a bunch of reservations. I also learned they never activated my key card. Then when we slept it was extremely hot and uncomfortable wondering if our room was ever actually cleaned. The tubs were stained, etc. Then when we said something at checkout we just got a sorry, here's your bill. They gave us a number to call which we did, but have yet to receive a call back almost a week later. Disgusting hotel, and not so helpful staff. Wish they would've told us the situation so we could have the option of staying else where.

The staff was very nice and helpful, absolutely no complaints in regards to them. The hotel itself definitely needs some TLC. Bathrooms are outdated, cracks in the some of the walls, missing paint, the carpet has seen better days and the elevators were an issue. Out of 3 elevators only one was working. We were on the 7th floor out of 20.. it took 30 minutes to get to our room after checking in and this was between 7 and 8 PM. The next day, we left our room around 8:00-8:30 am and attempted to catch an elevator for 45 minutes before tracking down the stairs with all our luggage and a 3 year old. Definitely wasn't pleased. The parking was not good. Upon arrival we were told the only parking available was in their parking garage. No biggie, sounds great..usually. We were driving a F250 extended cab, long bed, and this parking garage seemed to be tighter than normal. Usually we have no problem in parking garages and this time it took a good 20 minutes to reach the 5th level (not our goal but it's what ended up needing to happen) because only the spots on the end would be able to accommodate the truck due to its length, unless we wanted to block off passage, and those spots were taken by double parkers. The turns were tight and repositioning frequntly was required to make the turns to avoid hitting a car or the garage structure. I don't expect the hotel to build a new garage but other options for parking should be available for guests who don't want to risk hitting someone's car.

We arrived at 2:40 p.m. on Sunday and were told that no rooms would be available until the 4:00 p.m. check-in time. However, when other guests arrived around 3:10 p.m., they were checked in immediately. That inconsistency was frustrating and left us wondering why we weren't given the same opportunity. The location is fantastic, but unfortunately, the room and service did not meet our expectations. Housekeeping never cleaned our room or even made the bed during our stay. Although a male housekeeper was kind enough to stop by and offer fresh towels, the replacement towels were left on the floor instead of being properly placed in the bathroom. He was the only staff member who made an effort to help, and we appreciate his kindness. To make matters worse, there was mildew in the restroom, which is unacceptable for any hotel. This was our first negative experience here, but it was enough to change our minds. We will not be returning and will be staying at the Omni for future visits to Corpus Christi instead. The location alone isn't enough to make up for poor service, inconsistent check-in practices, and cleanliness issues. Do better. I cannot recommend staying here based on this experience.

This was a busy holiday weekend and they only had 2 running elevators. 1 guest and the staff elevator the others were broken which caused a delay. The rooms are not very clean and bathroom had mold. However the front desk was very friendly and professional.

I believe the only time our room actually felt comfortable enough for us to get some sleep was between 1am - 8am. I'm sure it has to do with the hotel being so close to the beach. Aside from the AC, our stay was nice.

pool was dirty water , people in pool were not supposed to be there , most importantly 2 of elevators did not work we were stuck on our floor for 45 minutes , finally went down 10 flights stairs on emergency exit ( and not signs showing where stairs were ) and exited out side hotel then walked around building to get back into lobby , my kids also were stuck upstairs the day before, line to get in a elevator were thru lobby and no sign as to where stairs were

They only had two elevators working which was the employees only and had long lines having to wait 30-40 mins just to get to the lobby, and in breakfast I was offered only one small drink of orange juice

This hotel is outdated and needs a desperate upgrade. The pool is small and shallow. The water looked like it needed a thorough cleaning. Two of the three elevators were out of service causing a very prolonged departure. Upon arrival in the room, there were no courtesy toiletries. The parking garage is dark and pricey. Overall, I'll never book this location again.

We drive 3 hrs to get to property to only be told they cancelled our room and staff said there is nothing they can do, when I chose the payment option to pay at the property, This property was pretty ran down, sorta blessed they cancelled our reservation without not even trying to call us..So we ended up sleeping in our car

Expensive because of location but the property is old and worn. Paid extra for high floor bay view room but was booked into a city view room. Ended up with 10 th floor (out of 20) partial bay view room after having to call management. Could not access balcony due to “safety concerns “ Thin walls no sound muffling to the outside. Heard all ambient street noise and other rooms. $10 charge to access the pool deck Only one of 2 elevators operational resulting in waiting 15-20 minutes for a lift. Towels old and yellowed. Shower amenities cheapest generics available. Bedding the same. Never again! .

This stay was absolutely a disaster. 20 floors and only one elevator. Room was so dirty. The pillows had mold. The front desk were rude and will it help with anything. When I told them about the mold they simply said oh ok.

Management rude to elderly guests, telling a lady to hurry up while getting onto an elevator. Carpet in room was wet from a leaking AC vent. Room would not cool. Vacuuming in the hallway outside the door at 7am.

We had to be moved rooms due to uncleanliness and broken furniture. Our second room was even worse the blinds were broken and the bedding sheets stained and dirty. Asked to speak with supervisor was told she was too busy to speak with me.

The location and surrounding area was absolutely perfect. The coffee shops, vintage clothes shops and great restaurants made our weeks stay wonderful !! We especially loved the evening farmers/vendors market and would definitely go again !!

The rooms were dirty, no ice bucket, and the ice machine didn’t work. We used to stay at this hotel all of the time, but it has really gone downhill. I don’t think we will stay here again.

Nother story. The coffee maker in our room had old coffee in it and dirty. We go down to catch our Shuttle and informed that the Shuttle isn’t working with no prior notice and now we have minutes to make our arrangement. They could’ve had the courtesy to call us?

The hotel was fairly clean, the staff was very friendly! The exhaust fan in our room didn’t work which made the bathroom very steamy! The vent in the entry way by the closet dripped water, I’m assuming from the A/C. It was very hot and humid when we were there in June. Overall, I thought it was a safe place to stay for a decent price.

There is very little about this hotel that would justify the price. Beyond being severely outdated, the property appears poorly maintained. The electrical outlets beside the bed are so loose that our phones won’t stay plugged in to charge. The air conditioner leaks onto the floor and even drips on guests as they walk by. The gym is extremely underwhelming, and the pool area was littered with trash during our stay. To make matters worse, none of the balcony doors open, so don’t expect to actually enjoy the ocean view you paid for. At $565 for two nights, this experience was completely unacceptable. What’s especially frustrating is that management responds to many of these reviews with the usual corporate apologies and promises to improve, yet the same complaints continue to appear over and over. It doesn’t seem that anything has actually changed. But wait, it gets worse. Only 3 customer elevators and one is broken. They allow dogs so sometimes there’s pee in the elevator. And we’ve watched the doors close on people twice very hard on people. Book elsewhere.

Great location but the hotel has seen better days. We called to make reservation and were not told that the balcony doors are locked permanently so you cannot use the balcony which was one of the reasons we got this hotel. Lots of shoddy repairs and poor maintenance. Our room had a leak from the ac unit and water pooled below it at the bathroom entrance…it was fixed a few days after our daily complains
