My first room had a cockroach in it as big as my index finger. The staff moved me to another room, but they need to do something about the bugs.

Clean room, friendly staff

This place is just old. The parking lot is a mess with pot holes, broken pavement, and just needs a lot of work. The building is old and a bit strange. Doors are not working right, elevator would make you think its not working. The room was hot and humid and could not really cool down till the sun went down, The carpet looked dirty and the air conditioner was noisy, old, and worn out. But the room was still humid. The first room they gave me smelled. The second room was better, but still had a smell of an old vacuum cleaner. The place was once probably good place. But it is not a place that I would ever want to stay at again. I will pick something else next time for sure.

Our room bathroom was not clean when we checked in

The bathroom shower would not work properly. There was no hot coffee downstairs. It was lukewarm. Just know that there is no breakfast unless you pay for it.

Overall the stay was OK if you just need somewhere to put your head at night. Unfortunately we found the overall condition of the hotel to be rundown and not well kept. The room had several bugs including a roach and ants that were crawling on the walls and bed. Housekeeping came in to “clean” the room and quite literally just threw the sheets on the bed (not even tucking in the corners) and hardly cleaned the bathroom. We hardly knew they were there the only indicator was that they left their microfiber cloth. The staff was very kind and helpful which was probably the hotels only redeeming factor.

Clean and good customer service

Overall, good hotel. Rooms were remodeled and lobby as well. Beds comfy and clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Lounge/bar was a little warm, food and drinks could use an upgrade. The location is not the best. Nothing around to go eat or shop. Everything is about a 10-15 min drive depending on traffic.

Nice clean stay

The hotel was nice and the place was clean. I was treated bad when I tried to get breakfast that I paid for with my stay, the server refused to serve us while their system was down, it took him 15 minutes to finally let us eat woke he charged a ticket to my room. The front desk did not charge me the extra fee though My fishing poles were stolen, I parked right in front of a hotel camera and they did nothing. They gave me the police department's number and it took them 2 days to call me back about a police report. I'll never get my gear back. The least y'all could do is pretend to care. They were father's day gifts

A great place to stay. Location was somewhat distant but worth it.

Room was not ready until 5:30. Room was pretty dirty and had an odd smell.

It was clean The restaurant was really slow. And the waitress was not nice. She was alone and it was busy.

It is a older property that needs a lot of renovations both inside and outside the property. The room was decent size and cleaner than the outside hallways and elevator.

Nothing it's very run down. The ceiling was falling in the room due to water damage. I can't believe they would give those rooms to people to stay in.

The parking lot was very poorly maintained. The hotel was okay, but the area was not the best. Staff was super friendly and helpful though.

We had no hot water the night we arrived and into the morning of us checking out. None of us could shower.

The indoor pool, the room was super cold and the staff Being very honest not bashing. First is I honestly thought when I booked the rooms it said free breakfast but when we checked in we were told adults pay to get breakfast so that was a bummer. The next couples of things are with the room. There was a lot of little hairs everywhere in the tub, on the shower curtain, on the sheets. The bed my wife and I slept in had a bulge in it, it made it uncomfortable. Stains on the carpet.

The room wasn't cleaned during the two days we were there, and the housekeepers said they didn't have towels and that if I wanted them I should go down to reception to ask for them.

The rooms were clean, the staff was professional and courteous however, the (floor) ice machine was out of order, there were only three bed pillows for two people and the parking lot asphalt and driveways were in dire need of repair.

The room only had one towel for 3 of us. I asked three times for extra towels for the rest of us. They never brought them up. The body soap dispenser also didn’t hav soap in it. I asked for more and they didn’t have any. The front desk manager was flustered and just kept saying he couldn’t help. I was very disappointed in my stay here. Lack of towels and toiletries. No customer service. The hotel was loud and people walking around at all hours even after quiet hours.

Staff was excellent. Breakfast was decent, choices could be better. Room was clean. Pool is little for such a large complex. Lobby is huge and had corn hole games but the bean bags were flat.

The hotel overbooked our stay. It was very inconvenient especially because we had already prepaid for our room. I wouldn't not recommend this hotel unless you want to suffer the same level of respect that we were afforded.

Parking was ridiculous. Our room was not ready upon arrival we had to wait almost an hour. Housekeeping did not refresh our rooms as asked.

Worst customer service ever was told I can check in at 2 Waited outside till 2 came back said we had to wait till 4 came back at 4 wasn’t ready till 5:30 on top of that I had gotten two rooms and only on was ready second was ready 30 mins later and ended up having someone walk into the room because the staff gave the same room to someone else and on top of that they tried charging me 3x the amount for two rooms instead of two payments for two nights will not be staying at this whole ever again

Be careful when booking ahead! I received a notification from the hotel about 15 minutes prior to my check in time at 4:00pm that my reservations were cancelled. I opted to pay at the property so I called and spoke with management and they decided they had a room available…mind you I booked my room over 4 weeks in advance. The room was barely clean, ours had sand, trash, hair, dirt, etc. The breakfast is $14 without a voucher, and it was very very poor. Little to no options and the options that were available, most “ran out” at least an hour before breakfast ended. When requesting the breakfast items be refilled staff members advised they were out for the day but still proceeded to charge several people the $14 breakfast fee for a very limited selection of food. Overall I appreciated the proximity to things, but will not be staying here again!

This motelstates that it feeds you free breakfast but when you get there to check in, they charge you for your breakfast which is $15 and that’s not right because on the app it says free breakfast I got charged $40 for two breakfast when it should’ve been free and the coffee was also charged when coffee is complementary

Very clean room

There has only been elevator operational for at least 1 year. The power goes out frequently, then there is no elevator use and you have to walk the stairs. The stairs are difficult to find, and the back up/safety lights are not that safe. I was not compensated for being without power. There was no apology, or explanation given and the desk clerk was extremely irrational and bothered that we were inconvenienced as customers. The parking lot is full of pot holes. The carpets are dingy and smelly. The maintenance persons, maids, bar tenders, and female desk clerks were amazing. There was one white male desk clerk that made the entire experience terrible with his bad attitude. Every other staff member was great. It's a nice hotel but, not well maintained by the owner seems like. Even the valet carts were dingy, rusty, and grimy. I tried contacting hotels.com to request a partial refund and as I was on the chat, the line disconnected and I never received a call back or other inquiry. The best thing about the hotel is that the AC worked well during the day. It seemed that it wouldn't cycle well throughout the night as the room would become hotter at night. My allergies were terrible for the duration of my stay. That can be avoided with regular cleaning and maintenance.

Clean room great staff

Just an overnight and I was in bed at 7:30. I did not use any facilities but the restaurant and bar. The manager Michelle was Incredibly helpful and accommodating but morning shift not as much. Great spot and wish I had more time to enjoy.

Staff was helpful on all shifts. Liked breakfast, especially the biscuits and gravy. My daughter enjoyed the cinnamon rolls. If you’re going to use the sofa bed, bring extra blankets. That’s all folks!

The pool hours could be extended longer than 10pm

We got a terrible room where AC does not any control, it runs constantly and make you freeze, bathroom moisture stay inside hotel room, and bathroom are not clean, struck doors, when I ask staff to change the room they said if you want you cancel it

Front desk staff were very helpful and sweet. The rooms need some updating and deep cleaning. The hall and our room smelled stale/musty...like it was damp. Our carpet had like a water stain close by the a/c.

the staff here is definitely helpful, but the breakfast is overpriced at $14 a pop and their elevator was a little screwy.

The staff ran out of clean towels to have in the rooms. Horrible service when asking for towels and we were forgotten about even after asking front desk. The driveway is full of potholes and you may risk a flat tire. The front desk staff were nice but the service is bad. The cleaning service will barely leave any new towels and won’t clean up the room during your stay.

Stayed here twice. They never return your 25$, my room was perfect when i walked in and when i checked out, Don’t know why their keeping 50$ from me but oh well.

Make sure your pool is clean. I went there just for the pool and it was green top at all is the first room. The toilet didn’t rush the second room. There was a cockroaches in there and the third room from the top of the ceiling and all the way down to the ground there’s a water leak leakage on the sheet rock . after the third room when I found out about the leakage on the sheet rock, I didn’t wanna move anymore, but they did take care of me about that. They did comp me drinks and free breakfast. The lady in the front desk was really sweet and nice, but the maintenance really sucks. They’re not there when you need them, especially when your toilet is not flushing!!

Tub in the room was peeling, drain was rusty

Our room was terribly dirty, hairballs in the toilet, no towels in the room, dirty blankets. When reported to the front desk, the woman working was very nice, but said they would have the manager call me and refund me fully....never heard from anyone.

Cockroaches in room and smells

The staff was nice, and overall- it was clean. My room was not, and the bathtub had chipped paint all in the bottom of it. The linens had a funny smell, but I was stuck here so to unforeseen circumstances with my flight being diverted here instead of Houston. The hotel served its purpose for me to get a few hours of sleep and I felt safe.

Pool had a strong chlorine smell and my family started sneezing uncontrollably. Far from any big attractions.

Great stay

The original plan had been to eat and then explore the pool area but every other family after us had also been told their rooms weren’t ready so the lobby was full with everyone waiting. The pool was indoor but was too crowded for us to really enjoy. No estimate was given on the rooms and for an hour I kept coming back to the lobby to check in. I noticed more and more families waiting in the lobby with no real movement. My guess was that one of the housekeepers must have quit and they got overrun. Either way the front desk could only do so much. They offered us drink passes but we really just wanted to shower and sleep. We finally checked in to our room around 9:15/9:30. The room was very clean and the a/c was cold. The beds were very comfy. In the morning we ate the comp breakfast. I don’t think it was really worth the $14 dollars but it was convenient right downstairs. Kids under 12 eat free with an adult so we were able to get my kiddo to eat before we left. Overall, not the worst experience but I probably won’t be coming back.

The hallways smelled like mold. No washer or dryer’s. AC in room wasn’t working properly. I ask for disable access as in first floor and got it on 6th floor.

When I brought this concern to the attention of the front desk representative, my complaint was not acknowledged, and I did not receive a response, which was frustrating. Additionally, the pool area had an extremely strong bleach odor. The smell was so overpowering that my eyes began to burn upon entering the area, and I chose not to use the pool. I understand that maintenance issues can occur, but I would have appreciated better communication and customer service regarding these concerns.

When I opened the sofa bed, a dead cockroach came out. The towels in the bathroom had hair on them, and the refrigerator was not cooling properly. Housekeeping never came to the room, not even to empty the trash. The pool did not appear to have the proper chlorine levels. My husband took our child swimming, and they came out sneezing. That night, they had to take medication to avoid getting sick. Other than those issues, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great price, nice hotel.

This is a 6 story hotel with only one working elevator. We were on the 5th floor and it took forever to catch the elevator. The hallway air conditioning was either not working or non existent which made it very muggy and carried over into the rooms if the air conditioner wasn’t continuously running. I broke out in a sweat just waiting for the elevator. Our room was next to the ice machine but there was no ice bucket in the room. The shampoo, conditioner and body was bottles were barely full and the body wash ran out after 2 showers. I also had to share one night with a roach. Very disappointed with this hotel

Our server Santos was very nice. The bar had my scotch!!! Very pleased!!!

The hotel only has two elevators, and during my stay one of them was out of service. This left the entire property relying on a single elevator that was already struggling to keep up with demand. Staying on the sixth floor, I often waited up to 20 minutes just to get an elevator, and it was constantly crowded with guests and housekeeping staff. To make matters worse, my room was never cleaned during my stay (probably the struggle to get upstairs was a factor). Between the elevator issues and the lack of basic housekeeping service, the overall experience was very disappointing. On the other hand, the staff were nice and the building was otherwise clean.
