Good location. AC in room was not good. Staff was rude.

It was right off the freeway. It's a La Quinta. Whole place smelled of mold. Breakfast was cold even when fresh. Elevator was sketchy. Very much understaffed housekeeping.

The location. Housekeeper guy was very friendly and helpful The hotel room was completely full with mold. We had toenails all over the carpet. The bathroom floor was covered with hair and we found roaches crawling plus one dead one . The AC was so dirty we had to wipe it down with our own wipes . I would not stay here again with children since the black mold is highly dangerous.

Breakfast was decent and staff were accommodating. There was only 1 person who had an attitude with a few people in line. My family and I had many inconveniences with this stay. When we arrived to our room, the place was not cleaned (crumbs and trash on the floor, leftover food from previous tenants in fridge, greasy countertops, microwave had a pot with leftover food in it, bathroom door was broken and barely functional, smelled musty) You can imagine that my family and I were unpleasantly surprised at the sight of all of this, especially with our 2 babies. We decided to go ahead and dress for our occasion that evening and I went downstairs to tell the staff about the room. I requested that the room be cleaned after we leave in approximately 45 minutes. They said yes that it would be cleaned and apologized for the inconvenience. When my family and I arrived back to the hotel around 1 am, we opened up the room door and saw that the room wasn’t even touched. We were very upset. I immediately went to the front desk and let staff know. After about 30-45 minutes, the resolution was to change rooms. We had to pack up all of our things and take everything to a new room. At this point we are all tired, kiddos are crying, dirty and in need of a bath, Wife and I are feeling stressed and overwhelmed from having to find all of our things in a hurry and pack them, we are both very frustrated at the fact that this is even an issue (would have been solved if the room was clean in the first place) After we arrived to the new room, we were ready to give the kiddos a bath and there was a shower, not a bath. Understand that we chose that our room have 2 beds and a bathtub. The new room only had 1 bed and a shower. It was so difficult to give the babies a shower. Next night, we got back late again and another inconvenience occurred, our room key didn’t work to the room door (guy who helped me the night before only activated it for 1 night, not 2) This stay was a terrible experience. My family and I made it work with what we had but a hotel stay like this should not be stressful/inconvenient.

The room smelled like wet carpet and was very humid. Also, there was this long beep sound outside our room door in the hallway that beeped constantly during our two day stay.

Exrecellent staff was very pleasant, polite and nice respectful greet us each morning with a smile.Breakfast was excellent hot item were very hot Wasdont a little pricey but over all good don't have a hot tub

Do Not Stay Here. The mold is everywhere. They had bags of damp rid hanging in the closet area! Woke up with a bloody nose because of the mold. The deodorizing smell was very strong to mask the mildew/mold smell.

Great location and easy to get to the freeway. Stay away from the Jack / Box nearby. Not worth the wait or the food.

The staff was amazing. The beds were comfortable for the two nights we stayed. Breakfast was decent besides the potatoes were a little undercooked. The pool temperature was great but we all ended up with sore throats coming home and im worried it was for how bad the pool was. Very dirty, We were only in there a short time to cool off and mainly stayed in the middle of the pool once we noticed how bad the walls were we got out. When i got home i wished i had read the reviews first several guest mentioned a dirty pool. Room did smell. nice quiet location just needs some cleaning.

Lobby was nice, breakfast was good but unfortunately, our room smelled like mold and had huge crack in the window.

The environment was peaceful and welcoming, and my children had so much fun — it was perfect for families. Housekeeping did an outstanding job every day, and it really made a difference in our comfort. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend

The bathrooms doors were off the rail so didn’t have privacy. The entry door was uneven and hard to open. Room smelled musty. Very outdated.

Stayed for a family gathering the pool was dirty and had a broken filter piece hanging in the pool broken plastic and metal not really safe. The a/c wasn't cooling and Elevator broke down breakfast was best part nice lobby area

Carpet in room need to be clean. Has strong mildew smell thats over powering. Had a roach that had to be killed, which was unacceptable. Just looked average on cleanness,could be more done.

Room not swept. Bathroom smelled like dirty mop water. Microwave and fridge not cleaned . Sticky spot in front of fridge not cleaned . Slept on top of bedspread cause sheets looked unwashed . Thank goodness I brought my own blankets sheets and pillows . Sofa not vacuumed. Room smelled like dirt due to it probably had not been vaccuumed. Balcony dirty . Balcony had things sticking out of the wall . Front desk person stayed seated in his chair when guest arrived . Smoke detector was hanging off the wall. Had to climb on chair to put it back on wall so it would not beep.

The property was very clean and staff was very friendly and nice. Check-in and check out were smooth and simple. I had two concerns that were not deal- breakers, but made my stay less than 5 star. First, this is a hotel/residence property so I shouldn’t have been too surprised that the hallways smelled of leftovers. The odor wasn’t horrible, but not pleasant and lingered the two days I was there. Second, I am not a coffee snob, any reasonable cup of coffee is OK with me. The coffee machine had about 8 buttons for coffee choices, but the coffee was terrible for the two types I tried to drink.

The parking

I booked this hotel during spring break, last minute so alot of others were more expensive or sold out. Location was not great, nothing around the area in regards to restaurants or stores. We were on the second floor and as soon as we got off the elevator, smell was kinda weird. We opened our room and it smelled like humid. Toilet was runnimg the whole time we stayed, didnt bother calling to complain about that. From 0 to 10, this hotel was a 4. Oh and breakfast was a 5.

Got here at 4:10pm and had to wake 10 min for them to finish cleaning the room when check in is at 3:00pm

The EV chargers were broken. We even called to ask if they were available the night before our stay and the person on phone said that yes. The hotel had them. Once we got there a woman at the front desk said they’d been broken for a while and not available for use. Also, one of our rooms was stripped of needing on our last day but not made up so when we got back Troy he hotel that even there was no beddings. I had to get them from front desk and make out own beds. Poor service!

Considering that I booked the room several hours prior to arriving, our room greeted us with 2 dead roaches. So I'm assuming no one inspected the room before giving us the key. Other than that; I did I clean sweep with Clorox wipes and Lysol. The room was quaint, beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious.

Closet door broken

The property and room were slightly above average for accommodations at this price level. The only issues I noticed were that the couch in our suite was dirty and very dated looking. The door to the balcony could use some fresh paint. The front of the building had several broken windows. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very nice.

Unfriendly staff at check in. Room smelled of mold. Bedding was damp and the entire room had a ton of moisture. Luckily, we only stayed one night and only in the room to sleep. Husband woke up with bad allergies from whatever was in the room. No ice machines, had to take ice bucket to staff member behind the curtain hanging up in the corner to ask for ice. Friendlier staff upon check out in the morning, but not a good stay overall. Would not recommend to friends or family.

This hotel is only good for a 1 night quick stay. Towels smelled wet, room was okay. Not to rave about. Only positive, the hotel is close to the family I was visiting.

Overall had a good stay. Friendly service, pretty good breakfast, rooms seemed clean. Although our room did have a weird musty smell. Pool was pretty small and the gate to the pool was so loose it tipped over when we leaned on it. Elevators were out of service in the morning for some reason. But we stayed one night so it was fine.

If you are visiting Corpus Christi and would like to stay in a nice, clean, and excellent hotel, then I highly recommend this hotel. It is a hidden gem in Corpus Christi. The front desk staff was highly professional, kind, attentive, and provided excellent customer service. The housekeeping staff always maintained the lobby, hallways, and elevators clean. When I arrived to the room that I was assigned to, the room was completely clean, organized, and tidy. This hotel also provides free delicious breakfast including coffee. There are also two computers just in case if you need to use the internet, a pool and even a gym. If you are planning to visit Corpus Christi, then I highly recommend this hotel.

Our room was nice but was in much need of some maintenance. The commode barely fit in the bathroom, was set at an angle in order for the door to open/closed. The bathroom door would not close all the way. The closet door was very hard to open/close. The safety latch on the room door was barely hanging on by a loose screw..would not have slowed anyone down trying to push their way in.

I loved the breakfast however there were too many flies in the dining area. Also we found 2 roaches in the room. Everything around was clean n nice its just that the roaches killed it for us.

It was a god hotel. It was okay for the night we needed. The room was rather hot even though the AC was at 60, the whole night didn't need to use a blanket. We were only there for the night so no need to switch rooms. Just wish the AC was working !

Room was nice but had a weird smell. I think it was the cleaner that they used. Check in was great and fast. Trip would have been perfect but house keeper walk in while getting dressed and did not knock or announce herself. The do not disturb sign was on door but she still walked in.

It was a great stay. Slept well and felt comfortable in my room. The bathroom vent didn’t work so it got a bit hot, but other then that no real negatives. Staff was friendly and quick with chuck ins and outs. Would stay again.

They were very nice and quickly accommodated us into another room. The second room was much better. Appreciated the helpfulness of the front desk worker. It’s a good one night kind of stay. Just what we needed. Breakfast is as basic as continental breakfasts go.

Moldy shower, ac unit blew air but smelled like mold, humidity in room was extremely high all night, doors slamming around the room all night and people were loudly talking in hallways.

People were very nice. Had no issues with staff. Breakfast looked decent. Biggest issues are the accommodations. Toilet is so close to vanity that you couldn't stand in front of mirror. Sliding shower door is completely blocked by bathroom door (trap hazard!). Mattress felt old and hard. Comforter/blanket are made out of same material as bath towels (even with same decorations embossed). Internet unusable, despite trying with several devices.

Directly outside my room was lobby area outside and each night there were loud groups outside being loud vocally and with radio blasting while drinking. This would begin early in the morning and then at night would persist till midnight or 1am.the curtain to the shower didn’t stop any water from escaping shower so floor of bathroom was soaked. Shower head/wand didn’t have proper support so kept sagging or hanging down.

AC worked good, bed was comfortable. The elevators both had a stinky smell that made me not want to get in them. I'm not sure what the smell was from because the whole place appeared clean.

Overall great stay

The property was clean and the staff was very polite. The room had a coat closet that was too small to hang clothes in and the doors to the closet were broken and leaning against the frame. We had to put them in the closet in order to gain access. We called and reported they were broken to the front desk.

Hotels looks good, clean and comfortable. Mattress on the beds are good quality and not too soft. Complementary breakfast is awesome. My family really enjoyed staying in this hotel.

Davis was extremely rude. And made it seem as if he hated his job for one and also made it a terrible experience overall. It was almost as if he did not want the business and pushed the waivers to sign as if we were going to damage the hotel. The elevator SMELLED TERRIBLE. and the room was even worse such a terrible experience.

Super clean and close to many things to do and restaurants

i am handicapped and i purchased a room with walk in shower only to get a room with tub. tough luck buddy.

Front desk representative was rude and dismissive. Got overcharged by 20 dollars on top of it all. Online rate was 99 with 20 extra charges but when card got ran it went through at 139 instead of what shouldve been 119 total. Asked front desk rep about it and he failed to answer just smirked. Then later after checking in found out that the pool wasnt be allowed to be used. Only found this out after changing to use it, not being able to get into the pool then asked at front desk where the same rude rep told us it wasnt accessible. Never said anything about the pool when checking in at all. So overall we got overcharged for a facility that didnt offer what was advertised and on top of it all had to deal with a rude jerk of a front desk rep that obviously hates his job and the customers.

The closet door would not close so it was a squeeze bringing luggage into and out of the room with the two doors backing up against each other. House service picked up our used towels but we had to go downstairs and get new ones. Would have liked to use the pool but it was green and gross looking. Best part...A/C was great! The room stayed cold!!!

The property, parking, our room, and cleanliness was really, really nice. We were in a rush the next morning, so we really didn't have time to check on how the breakfast was. The young man that checked us in, wasn't rude, but just not very nice. Would recommend this location for anyone asking.

They only leave (3) towels when they clean, therefore you have to go to the front desk to get extras. The last few days they were completely out of towels. On the positive side, air conditioner worked excellent.

The hotel was a disaster. Before entering, there was a sign that mentioned the automatic doors weren’t working and that we had to manually open them. No big deal at first but that was just the beginning of this ordeal. After waiting 30 minutes to check in despite only one person being in front of me who was simply looking for coffee(which they were out of), I entered my room which reeked of mildew. After walking near the AC to cut it on (which did not get cold in 108 degree Texas weather), the entire floor was drenched, assuming which was causing the mildew smell and the reason the AC wasn’t working. I went downstairs to try to switch rooms but was told they had no availability. I wrote it off and instead asked for more towels as there were only 2 in the bathroom despite 4 guests. This is when we were told they were out of towels until the next day (we checked in around 7pm…) and were instead handed two very small pool towels and more would be delivered the next morning. They printed off signs that mentioned this and posted them throughout the hotel lobby. After taking a shower and drying off with a face cloth, I noticed black mold on the wall in the shower. We were late for reservations so had to head out so didn’t pay it much mind but when returning for sleep, there was no spare blankets, sheets or pillows. The hotel room was great! Very clean and well kept. There was plenty of space. The only drawback was the pool. It didn’t look “inviting” and was not well kept. I wasn’t planning on using it but it was a bit of an eye sore. The breakfast was delicious!!

Love this place!

Loved the hotel room as a whole, but there was a minor leak in the bathroom every time where you turned the shower on and water would come out from under the bathtub. But other than that, I would stay here again!

Room was ice and spacious and the fridge was surprisingly bigger than most other hotel fridges I have seen. Worked out great for us!

We had a reservation for a room#320 with a balcony. Unfortunately, the white plastic lawn furniture was covered with bird droppings that you could not even sit on them. In addition to bird droppings that made the balcony unhygienic, the balcony had some type of bug infestation from all the bird poop. It was crazy; because these black brownish bugs were almost invisible to the naked eye - upon wiping a portion of the seat and after sitting of the patio chair my husband discovered thousands of them crawling all over his clothes and beard. I set my phone and sweater over the concrete balcony and in no time, thousands of these bugs were all over my clothes. We didn't know what kind of bugs these were so we had to throw our clothes away. We didn't want to bring them inside the room. Both my husband and I had to shower again because we could feel these tiny bugs crawling all over our skin and hair. We both suffered a rash/hives from the bugs crawling all over us. For a person with allergies and asthma this wasn't safe.The window in the room where the balcony was located was also broken, and the glass was cracked and sticking out (the window was attempted to be fixed) by using clear tape. With the glass broken, accident waiting to happen. We voiced our concerns to the Best Western staff member at night - we were happy that we were able to move to another room but he had no consideration, no regard about our health, or understanding. Nothing else done to assist. We will NOT go back.
