Breakfast was decent.I wish hotel would add more yogurts and boiled eggs to the menu.And nuts and dry cranberries to the cereal selection . I wish hotel would add safe box to all rooms and hard soap.Also our room was near elevator and sometimes there was so much trash that small bugs started to fly there and eventually flu to our room.Another thing I would like to add is floors in the rooms need to be or dusted with broom but vacuum.

Staff was great. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Kids enjoyed the pool and breakfast. Definitely booking this place again. Restaurants were at walking distance as well Can't complain. Place was great

Room was clean. Only issue was a stained shower curtain but otherwise was perfect. Staff was extremely nice and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect bonus. Would definitely stay here again!!

The location was great. The room had a kitchenette which was great because I have kids. Sitting area was big enough for my four children. Pool hours are awesome! The complementary breakfast has a great variety of food, also a great sitting area. I stayed two nights, and housekeeping never showed up to clean the room or take trash out.. at arrival room seem clean, but it was a little dusty. Am sure it was cleaned, but a couple days before my stay.

Nice clean room and spacious. Staff was very attentive. Check in and out process was fast and convenient. Nothing really. Maybe the wifi access can be improved as the room did not get good signal coverage.

If you are looking for a reasonable place to stay, this place will work for all your basic needs. Location was good and the staff were great.

All the food was excellent, very well prepared by very friendly lady who knew what she was doiung... Had a hard time getting hot water up to third floor..

All was good. Very convenient to where we where gonna visit. Will be coming back when possible.

Location worked well for me and where I was headed. Bit run down area otherwise. It was ok, not spectacular, showing some age. Elevator button broken. Has sign to not press to hard. Really...

Rooms were clean and well maintained. Breakfast room was crowded with only 1 waffle maker, but the person working to stock breakfast was on top of keeping items full. Breakfast was not the same every morning, so nice surprise for a hotel.

Nancy and her crew really took care of me. I felt right at home and really enjoyed my stay.

The property in very good condition and centrally located for my needs.

The microwave was terrible, the turn table would not stay in place and it took 3 times longer to warm foods. Breakfast was quite okay and the usual not extraordinary. Overall not a hotel I would consider booking my next stay.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will stay again next time down to cc or another town.

the outdoor pool was not clean it felt yucky, the a/c would barely cool down it felt really sticky inside the room, it does have an old smell. the front desk lady was the sweetest , we did not get to attend breakfast. the rooms are clean , bathrooms are clean a little outdated forsure. they do have shampoo, conditioner, body wash , had no problem getting extra towels and blankets& toilet paper. it's a 50/50 definitely needs to be updated and ac fixed and the pool needs cleaning especially because it's summer and kids love the pools at hotels

Clean room and the upkeep was really good. Breakfast consisted of eggs with peppers, sausage, cereal, and waffles. Nice stay.

The carpets were were terrible, need some serious replacing. Room felt too humid even with the ac unit on. The elevator made wierd sonds as it went up and down, I may need to call OSHA about that.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The suite was a perfect size and having the bedroom separate was the best part! I highly recommend the Hawthorn.

It was a nice quiet, clean hotel that is centrally located in the middle of the city. You also have great access to different restaurants and shopping locations.

Breakfast was hot and staff friendly and helpful. Liked that it was a property without animals.

Breakfast mmm if you like chorizo by itself great. No eggs, no sausage so I ate at the hospital.

Pool and hot tub was nice but closed at 10 bummer. Room was a lil small but clean. Comforters could use upgrade.

Double bed roosms beds where smaller than usual, I could hear the neighbors easley and the a/c vent made alot of noise, other than that it was a nice place

To start with,Nancy Hernandez at the front desk was great and very friendly.i requested a quiet room and sure enough she advised us to stay in a room she recommended.nice,quiet and clean.nice big TV,but unfortunately very few channels,and not much to watch.very nice pool.overall it was a nice and pleasant stay.

breakfast was not good. Staff during the day was pleasant which was the saving grace, but night staff was not friendly.

Room was very comfortable and clean. ALL staff with whom we had contact were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and they all seemed to work together well. Breakfast was delicious and had lots of choices.

It was comfortable.

Shower head water pressure is too weak, what good is it to get a room if you can’t take a good shower. The ac wouldn’t go no lower than 66 degrees, which felt a lot warmer than that, to the point that the room felt humid , not comfortable. The room did not get cold till the morning.

The staff was very helpful and super friendly. It has a gym sections with treadmills and it also has a wonderful pool and spa. Located in South Padre Drive is very centered close to everything. Plenty of parking and secure entry. Overall it was a great experience I will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this place.

Old hotel needs updating. Not worth the price! .75oz bottles of hair products for a room fit for 4 people! Bring your own bathroom products, for the price, shouldn’t have too. Staff was nice. But hotel leaves a lot to be desired!

Low water pressure elevator was slow and at one time was broken but it was clean

Everything was fine and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The only thing that need work was the jacuzzi. It looked like dirty, dirty people had been bathing in it. The water was actually brown. The pool was nice though.

We stayed over the July 4th weekend. Breakfast is provided, and the staff were very friendly. If we revisit Corpus Christi, we will likely try to get closer to the beach.

The staff was very, very polite, respectful and friendly. The hotel was clean. It was comfortable Ish only minor problem or actually major problem for me maybe minor for others. The water pressure in the shower was very poor. I am a well built, well built gentleman, and I like strong water pressure Other than that or stay was great comforting and we felt right at home.

My family came to this hotel in distress after our first booking at another hotel did not go as planned (pool under renovation with no notice) From the start, everything here at Hawthorn Extended Stay was awesome. Excellent location, good sized outdoor pool and working hot tub. Breakfast each day was on point, with slight changes to the main hot items each day (bacon and eggs, sausage and eggs, sausage and chorizo, sausage and southwestern omelet) The hotel itself was quiet, hallways smelled good, beds were comfortable, and the extremely spacious rooms have central air! Our room felt like a little efficiency apartment, and our family of four was able to spread out. Every employee we encountered was polite, and I'd like to give a special shout out to Nancy, the hotel manager, for taking such good care of us and extending our stay to match our previous reservation at the other hotel. Our vacation was saved, and we will most definitely be back next year. Awesome experience!

The beds were too soft and lumpy. I didn't sleep well at all. It seemed as if the mattresses were old. They need to be replaced for firm ones.
