We went for just an overnight stay, the staff was very friendly, room was clean, bed was amazingly comfortable and the ac was cold. We slept very well that night.

Great staff and room. It was inconvenient that the dryers were not working. Pool was full of baby roaches so that was disappointing.

Nice staff Felt old

The room had ants crawling in that had made it around the base of both beds and on the nightstands. Into the light switches on the bed. Further inspection found them also in the bathroom. Being in town with my children and granddaughter for my grandfathers funeral and being a disabled veteran, we had a lot of things to carry and were offered the only first floor room so I chose to spray the ants rather than try to move rooms. The next day I discover the ants were coming in thru a broken window, and now joining them were a couple roaches. The room was horrible but the grounds were nasty. Trash was never taken out until it was a heap (publicly) and our rooms were never cleaned). And breakfast wasn’t edible

Fairfield is not what it used to be needs property upgrades
- 4/5
The room was very clean and spacious. They were able to assign us a handicap room which helped us out a lot. The breakfast was hot and delicious. I just wish the room had a microwave in it.

Definitely a great choice for hotels on SPID. The only caution would be for people with lowered cars. The ways in and out of the hotel are inclined and may cause you to scrape your front, especially if you have a splitter. For most of the motoring public, this caveat does not apply. We have been here 3 times now and have always had a good experience. Added bonus: they are only 1-3 miles away from the best seafood restaurant in the area (Saltwater Grill), the best breakfast restaurant in the area (Andy's Country Kitchen), and the best steakhouse (Ol' Steakhouse Co.) in the area.

Very safe feeling area near restaurants and convenience shopping. Attentive staff and clean property throughout

The front desk staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. They were always accommodating. The breakfast was also good and offered a nice start to the day. One thing to be aware of is the housekeeping policy. If you're staying for less than a week, don't expect your sheets to be changed every five days unless you specifically request it. Otherwise, housekeeping will only replace your towels. It wasn't a major issue since I requested a sheet change on my third day, but it would have been nice to know this policy in advance. The shower water pressure was a disappointment; it felt like I was trying to shower in the rain. If you have long hair, be prepared for it to take a while to rinse. The TV also had about six bright spots in the middle of the screen that were very distracting while watching. In addition, the TV guide didn't work, so I had to flip through channels one by one. Every time the TV was turned off, it reset, meaning I had to start searching through the channels all over again. Overall, I had a good stay. These were minor inconveniences and not enough to turn an otherwise positive experience into a negative one. Kudos to the front desk staff for their friendliness and excellent customer service.

The only thing wrong in the room was that the security lock did not work and I didn’t feel 100 percent safe. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very helpful.
- 4/5
The room was very clean. The bed is not comfortable though. Lots of foot traffic during the night so ask for a room not on the ground floor.
- 5/5
Very clean and very friendly staff. We will be back

Room cleanliness: the sheets and comforter did not smell good at all and had a few stains. They smelled very mildewy and was a bit bothersome. The double queen we stayed in had all floor and it was very dirty. It was uncomfortable to walk on with no shoes. Otherwise, the room was relatively clean. Breakfast: when I asked for the gluten-free item, I was given an Udi's blueberry muffin. They had the classic Texas-shaped waffle maker as well. Staff: Check in and check out was very quick and simple, despite arriving at 1am. After a day out, we came back to a note in our room saying towels were being cleaned at the time so they did not leave replacements, and that we could go pick some up at the front desk. When we went to the front desk and told them this, they said we must bring a towel for every clean towel we would like - even though we had no towels at all. We had to bring the note housekeeping left in the room for them to hand over towels. I am assuming if you simply wanted extra towels, it would be difficult to get them. All in all, it wasn't the best stay at a Fairfield hotel, but it did the job.

Are a c didn't work that well. Definitely was a guy's trip hotel. If that makes any sense wouldn't recommend a family staying there.
- 5/5
When we checked in Julie at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The hotel was very quiet and was in what appeared to be a good safe area with shopping and restaurants nearby. The breakfast was listed a a continental breakfast but had a full array of hot and fresh items to choose from. Overall very satisfied for a quick overnight stay. Would stay here again.

We love the staff and is close to everything
- 4/5
The staff were very friendly. The room was clean. The bed was OK, but not fabulous. The A/C made noise like a clicking all night. When I first arrived, it was quiet. As you walk down the hall you can smell a faint mildew smell. A little in the room if the A/C wasn’t running. This is very common in coastal areas. The bathroom moisture removal system worked well to keep excess moisture at bay, but the bathroom smelled a little stale when you first went in before turning on the light and venting system. The vent was very loud. I liked the nightlight in the bathroom. The light cation is very convenient to a lot of shopping in Corpus and easy on and off the highway. Despite the A/C noise, it did keep the room nice and cool. Hot water was great!! Breakfast was typical for this level of restaurant. Good selection of OK food and drink. Most popular, of course was the waffle maker. All in all, not bad, but not the best in its class.

Room was alright, could’ve been cleaned a bit more. The air conditioning wasn’t really working so it did feel stuffy. Staff was nice and breakfast pretty good. It wasn’t bad for the price.

Very good hotel. Great staff! Very friendly and professional! They made my stay enjoyable. And the hotel is in a great location in the center of the city where much of the dining and shopping is located.

The lobby had a mold smell. Also this is in a sketchy part of town.
- 3/5
Everything was fine except checking in they changed their policies since booking and I got their and pets not allowed. Thankfully my daughter lives in the area and was able to keep my dog or otherwise we would have been without a place to stay. Since I should have verified pets via phone call not just by website this is my fault as well. But they didn’t want us there after they discovered that we had a dog even though dog was not going to be there, so they first tried to canceled our reservation, then they tried to charge me a huge incident fee so had to bring in someone else in to help
- 3/5
The gentleman who checked us in was nice very friendly and helpful
- 4/5
Would be a higher rating but the pool was out of service. Green algae and cans floating in it. No mention on website about the pool being out of service .
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 3/5
This particular hotel appeared to be old. It wasn't as updated as it should have been. The A/C in our room wasn't working very well. The owners of the hotel should have finished the remodel before accepting guests.
- 3/5
Rooms were clean but the beds weren’t exceptionally comfortable.
- 3/5
Property had been renovated, but smelled "construction" bad. Wires from TV sloppily hanging down the wall. Part of wall cut out to access outlets. Curtains hung wrong. Stained shower floor. Lobby DID NOT LOOK ANYTHING SHOWN ON WEBSITE. JULIE was nice at check-in, honest, and helpful. Chairs in room were VERY uncomfortable and not usable. Not worth what we paid.
- 1/5
The pool was green with trash in it. The body wash container was empty. Very few channels on the TV. Nothing for children to watch. There was a hair in the bathtub. Beds were not very comfortable. Curtains would not shut all the way. Was hard to go to sleep.
- 5/5
Great place! Very nice staff
- 2/5
PICTURES ARE NOT ACCURATE!! The pool is nasty and unusable. The owners own the hotel across the way and offered that pool which wasn't much better. Was so humid that our hotel floor was covered in condensation. There was black residue in showers (stayed with family in multiple rooms and we all had that issue). Smelled like weed. The employees were nice but the hotel itself is not it.If you just need a quick place to stay go for it but I'm gonna pass.
- 5/5
Property shows some age and has the typical musty seaside smell of all but the newest hotels. Nice, clean room. Nice and helpful staff.
- 4/5
My stay was overall great. The only issue was the side door closest to my room did not open from outside so i had to come in through the main entrance. We enjoyed tbe complimentary breakfast. They had quite a few options to choose
- 4/5
Room was great, breakfast was lacking
- 5/5
Clean, quiet, and spacious. I would definetly stay at this hotel again. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were clean. The shower was very spacious and came with big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. My room came with a wireless charger on one of the tables which was very neat. The sofa bed in my room was very modern. Over all 10/10; highly reccomend.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, nice showers, comfy beds, close to many restaurants and stores and just a few miles to the beach
- 1/5
Ac was not working , kids couldn’t use the pool. Nothing was advertised about the pool being closed. But we can say staff was nice and helpful.
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 5/5
The surrounding area looks a little sketch. But the staff there is amazing and the breakfast was really decent. We will stay again. Oh- they are renovating parts of the hotel. The pool is closed but the hotel next door has opened their pool facilities for the guests.
- 3/5
Over all it was a good and quiet stay. The one night we did stay pool/laundry room was out of order which I was told at the check in time. Trying to check in on-line was unsuccessful with several attempts. Staff was nice and friendly no complaints. We did have to go across to the sister hospital to use the pool and was told we could use their laundry room. Then when I verified with the front desk he said "IDK why they're telling people to come over here for that." I was just like umm ok and he also stated its not working. IDK where all the confusion was but regardless The Spark Hotel was the one hotel where we were directed too. I believe Fairfield Inn was getting remodeled there was a bunch of furniture, removed wall, and other items in the dumpsters. Breakfast time they did lack employees the one guy they did have poor dude he was just going back and forth trying to keep up with demand.
- 3/5
The area the hotel was in a good location to restaurants but not of construction going on.
- 3/5
The staff was extremely friendly; however, it appears that the hotel is undergoing renovations, which impacted our stay. We selected this hotel due to its outside pool, but unfortunately, it was closed, with green, dirty water and construction materials scattered around the property. The hotel's actual appearance differed significantly from the pictures. Upon arrival, I remarked that it seemed we were at the wrong location. The wallpaper was secured with blue duct tape. Although we were permitted to use the neighboring pool, it was old, small, and extremely cold, being an indoor pool. Bed was very uncomfortable but the room was decent size and mostly clean.
- 4/5
The staff were friendly and welcoming.
- 1/5
Dining options were close by
- 2/5
Breakfast was not prepared timely for the guest. Guest had to wait 20-30 minutes before food was replinished in the food warmers.
- 2/5
When we got to the hotel the kids were excited to go swim. Unfortunately the outdoor pool was closed and looked like a swamp with floating turds in it! When we told the front desk they sent us to the hotel next door for the indoor pool. Which is great at least there was a pool except we had to walk a ways to get there and we had a disabled person with us. We moved past that. The beds were very hard on a wood platform. It stuck out farther than the bed and stubbed our feet on it.. slip past that.. breakfast was good but they couldn’t keep up with the amount of patrons eating. told housekeepers to change linen and trash only. Got back from a long day of outings only to want to rest and take a shower. No towels and the trash still overfilled. Called desk. They responded with we could go get it and bring the trash down. That the housekeepers had checked off they cleaned the room. They did not. Finally after back and forth the guy said he would come up in 20mins to change linen and trash. It’s a nice hotel just needs to be upfront about the pool situation and get better beds!
- 2/5
The next morning, I reminded the front desk staff about the mattress( a different man than the night before). He replied that they don’t have extra mattresses laying around, that they could move us. I made sure that they had a clean room right then, they assured me they did, so we packed up all our stuff. I heard them talking in the hallway and invited them in to look at the mattress. The housekeeper said that all their mattresses were stained like this, it’s a two star hotel and kids do things. Seriously?! They could not find a room with a better mattress to move us to! We ended up agreeing that we’d stay in the same room, unpack, with the understanding that they would bring in a “less” stained mattress with a wrap around, fully covered mattress cover. They brought in one equally disgusting, with the same top pad that only covers about 2/3 on the bed. The first photo is the first mattress, the second is the replacement mattress. Gross!

Construction around parking lot area hotel needing a upgrade. Front Desk personnel were sweet. Sorry this is thr first Fairfield that really disappointed me. Also charge for parking

Older property needs renovation
- 4/5
Nice modern property and room. However what it had in appearance, it lacked with the amount of noise in the room. The walls and ceiling were paper thin and you could hear noise from all rooms around and above. Breakfast was a good 3 star experience. Location is great. Plenty of options for shopping and eating close by.

Convenient location
- 5/5
The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Exellent
- 5/5
Still working on remodeling but no noise. It’s looking much better. Will be returning next month.
- 3/5
This property was in undergoing renovations when we stayed there. Had I known I likely would've chosen a different place to stay. The most redeeming thing about the place was the sweet lady named Opal who introduced herself as our breakfast server in the morning. She was kind and hard-working and ready to help!
- 5/5
The shower is too small and I'm petite.
- 5/5
Under renovation but everything was still ok
- 4/5
I like some of the upgrades in these rooms, but not all of them. There are several outlets in the room, but some work and some don't. For example, there's one on the nightstand that only works when the overhead lights are on, and the other one doesn't work at all. Also, there's no way to connect to Amazon Prime on the TV. It gives you the option, but when you choose it, it just says "cannot connect to the internet". I'm not sure how I feel about these upgrades.

The Rooms smelled like a hospital . They were small
- 5/5
Good location. Lots of restaurants close by.
- 2/5
Wasn’t notified of renovations until I arrived. Outlets wouldn’t work at first. Mess on tables/desk in the room. Bed had dust and sheets were dirty like someone was standing on them. Front desk staff was friendly & tentative. Breakfast selection was good.
- 4/5
Clean but very basic. Needs updating.
- 5/5
the hotel was safe and clean.
- 3/5

- 2/5
The facility was under renovation which we understood and forgave the smell in the lobby, but the room we were given was dirty. The floor had construction worker boot marks all over. The shower floor was so dirty we had to wear flip flops. In addition the hot breakfast was not refilled after 9:15am despite the property “serving” breakfast until 10am.
- 5/5
Good clean place to stay at.
- 4/5
Renovations are taking place.
- 5/5
It was nice and quiet some furniture can use upgrades
- 5/5
Theresa Garza and the woman at the front desk were absolutely just amazing. Very sweet and was able to help me with my concerns. The renovations were not a problem and the room perfect.
- 3/5
The room smelled. I asked for air freshener. I understand they are renovating, but the odor was bad.
- 5/5
Great place to stay at and rest. Staff is more than welcoming and friendly!
- 4/5
The only issue I had was I couldn’t take a shower because the bathtub was really dirty. The toilet also looks like it doesn’t get cleaned often. Breakfast was really good and the associates we really nice.
- 4/5
The people were super nice. The only issue I had was I couldn’t take a shower because the bathtub was really dirty. The toilet also looks like it doesn’t get cleaned often. Other than that it was great. Breakfast was really good and the lady serving all the breakfast in the buffet was very nice.
- 4/5
It was a nice room; clean, comfortable bed. There was no bed bugs. The sheets were nice and clean; carpet was clean. The staff was friendly. The only reason I give 4 starts is bc the upstairs guest was extremely loud most the time, but the hotel staff did resolve the issue pretty quickly every time I called about it.
