Very very old furniture just like the pictures. Has a kitchen but no pans or utensils just 1 kitchen towel. We will not be staying here again. Smelled like weed in the hall ways too. Just awful. Beds were very shaky. A/C and shower hot water worked well. Only good things. For a few dollars more I’d rather stay at a much newer place.

The property smelled like seafood and mold

First the house keeping never came by to clean at all in a week. The kitchen stove only had one working burner. The bathroom didn’t have a fan. The floors, walls and bedding were stained. The refrigerator open in a direction that made it dangerous to open. It was facing the wrong way. You open it and had to squeeze by the door against the stove. Good thing the burners didn’t work. There were cockroaches. Under the sink had bad water damage. The shower curtain had mildew. The room smelled bad. Every surface was sticky. The hotel elevator walls and floors were dirty and had built up dirt.

My only complaint as I was on the first floor the room above me had lids running and stopping feet from. Like 10 pm till 2am I finally did co the last night. Staff was curious,area felt safe ,easy commute to beach.

Overall, I’d give it a 5/10, floor in the room felt uneven, but it was a good price. I wish they provided more utilities in the bathroom, also some towels were dirty.

The room was absolutely disgusting (dirty, smelly, dilapidated furniture/bedding). We walked in and did not set our items down and walked back to the desk. We stated that we could not stay there because of the condition of the facilities. We were told that we would have a refund to our card in 1-5 business days. Still waiting--no refund has been processed. The photos on the Expedia website do not reflect what is actually at the facility. Definitely feel like this was a bait and switch. Expedia, do better! I had looked at most reviews and most said it was a decent place (clean, friendly). I have to wonder if these are authentic reviews. Beware!! DO NOT BOOK HERE!!

I didn’t like anything about this place there was marijuana on the beds the room smelled like skunk and weed the restrooms where horrible nothing like the pictures that where shown before I reserved beds where dirty and stained also the pillows. I talked to the lady in the front and all I got was a can to make room smell better but obviously that didn’t work I checked out and asked for a refund and of course it got denied so had to pay again for a different room never EVER go here especially if you have kids there’s a lot of shady people roaming outside and on the halls better be safe than sorry

Good location, but unfortunately the hotel is old and is showing it's age. The carpet in room and hallway is ripped, missing cabinet doors, stains on carpet and furniture. Refrigerator makes loud noises. Bulbs were burned out in light fixtures.

The room was dirty. There was hair in the shower,dirt on the floor and the fake wood stick on tile was coming up and tripped me. There was some type of mold on the window.

Drug addicts in the back parking lot. Mold near shower on wall. Dead roaches in dresser drawer. Towels were grey and didn’t smell fresh. Sofa bed had large stains on it and needed to be replaced. Asked for a clean sheet for sofa bed and was given a new sheet that was full of stains. Oven hadn’t been cleaned since whenever. No cooking utensils anywhere. Since we got there late stayed the night and left by 8 a.m. Stay away from this place

The rooms did not look like they were on the pictures. Missing doors and drawers on the furniture in the rooms as well as bad looking carpets.

We came in from the DFW area and when we got to the facility it immediately smelt like mildew FIRST PROBLEM. We got our room key and immediately inspected the bed and that’s where we noticed that the bed sheets didn’t seem to been washed, had stains from blood and blue stains on pillow cases. Immediately asked for a refund which was done. When we were walking to our vehicle, we noticed we forgot something in the room went back up and the front desk man was fixing up the bed as if he was going to do try to book that room. No accountability to the sheets were dirty.

We killed 2 roaches in the restroom. I was So surprised on how nasty this hotel was considering the fact that the reviews said other wise. I definitely do NOT recommend anyone to stay here. Our suite smelled the cigarettes and mold.

The room was decent but it was hot. The AC was at the lowest but didn’t cool the room. Checking in took some time, their network wasn’t working properly.

The staff was very friendly shw checking in and super nice, but you can tell that they don’t get along very well by the way they spoke to each other in front of guest. The room was okay. The floor was super dirty by daughter white socks turned black just walking barefooted for only a few minutes and the carpet always had a slightly wet feel to it. The sheets were dirty and there was hair on the pillow. I also told the front desk that the smoke detector was making noises like the batteries needed to be changed and their response was to just take the smoke detector out instead of fixing ot moving us to a new room which I did ask for cause of how not very clean it was. They did change our sheets but still. Also the furniture was very worn iut, the leather was falling off and you can tell they don’t take care of keep up with things. The location was probably the best not good thing since it’s near so many places to eat and shop. We ended up leaving a day early. Again the staff was nice but the definitely need to work on the way they act in front of guest and actually keep up with the rooms. I woudl sat again just cause of the price and location but also might just pay a little more to get better quality.

When we arrived our room smelled heavily of smoke (I did ask for a non smoking room). The sheets on the sofa bed didn't look as if they were washed. The sofa cushions had unknown stains on them. We did bring up all these issues and Dee, who works the front was apologetic and very understanding, she gave us another room as quickly as she could.

It was okay. Nothing to say. Breakfast is just muffin and coffew

No maintenance on staff after 4 pm So she disconnected it which is all she could do. Train staff to learn how to change 9volts on fire detectors if you do not have maintenance there.

#1: the room a/c worked great #2: the room was clean #3: the front desk staff were friendly and helpful Since I had to book last minute, I ended up closer to the elevator than I would prefer, and at one point I heard loud guests and a crying baby; however, it was temporary.Also, the aesthetics leave something to be desired, but I wasn’t expecting a five-star experience. I basically needed a place to sleep. The appliances were dated, but I cannot speak with whether they were in working order, as I didn’t need them.

Like that manager actually called me it was overbooked before I headed out there That it was over..i was being compensated but by the time operator got hold her supervisor..last booking for othe hotel was sold out too?

The staff was good but felt deceived when we got there and asked if it was possible to add a night, they told me on check out day come ask and usually 90% of the time they will allow it and it will be the same rate you are paying. Well check out day came and instead of $87 it was $110. The room was not clean there was German roaches which luckily we didnt bring any home. There was food scraps in all the pantries, only part of the oven worked the dresser was missing a drawer. Opened soap in the shower moved the dresser to make room for the pull out couch it was extremely dirty under there.

This property was disgusting. The property is very worn down. The front desk only had one person checking people in. We entered our room and the linens were all very stained and had bugs. The dishes were not complete. The bathroom was not clean. We went to discuss with front desk and the manager was out of state. We were told to either to check out for full refund or endure the situation. We didn't have the money to move hotels.

Stayed 2 nights with my large family. Definitely will be returning, was a very clean facility. Safety was great, parking lot was very lit. We enjoyed our spacious room with the kitchenette. Our room was clean, kitchen area was very clean, which is a huge plus for me. Overall a nice stay, our family felt very comfortable and slept great.

The staff at the desk were very nice. Check in was easy and quick. Roaches in kitchen and bathroom. Smelled of mildew in hallway and there was dog feces in the hall.

The price The beds were very hard felt like sleeping on the floor the pillows were even worn out they were so flat couldn’t even fold them to make it comfortable the fold out sofa bed was nasty it had food crumbs still on the mattress & was even hard you could feel the springs they claimed to have breakfast all they had a coffee bar with small packaged muffins and they didn’t give no towels only small face & hand ones

Staff was friendly. I have stayed in some questionable places during my travels, but this was by far the worst. The only exceptional part of the experience was the staff, who were consistently friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, the property itself was dirty, damaged and poorly maintained. There was trash in the hallways, dirty carpet, stains on the furniture and towels that appeared as though they had already been used. There was mold in the bathroom, a towel rack pulling away from the wall, cabinets and drawers that would not close, rust on the appliances and holes in the ceiling. The faux leather chair was so badly ripped that it could not be used without risking a cut. The remote control was held together with tape to keep the batteries inside, yet it still did not work properly. There was even dirt or dried food on the key card holder. The worst issue was the overwhelming smell in the room, combined with extreme humidity. The air conditioning worked reasonably well, but it struggled to make the room comfortable. The elevator also felt frightening and unsafe, as though it could drop at any moment. I never found the advertised continental breakfast. To top it all off, at 11:00 a.m., a staff member began loudly banging on guests’ doors and announcing that it was 11:00 and everyone needed to get out. In more than 40 years of frequent travel, I have never experienced anything like that. I took photos, although they do not fully capture the stains, dirt and overall condition. In person, it was far worse. This hotel does not deserve its current rating. At best, it is a one-star property. I will never stay here again. Terrible experience.

Upon arrival, we had to clean the bathroom and the kitchen. Fridge was dirty; stovetop had crumbs and couldn’t use the oven; microwave was rusted, dirty and unusable; the floor in kitchen had crumbs; the carpet is horribly stained and was wet, especially by the AC. It was supposed to be nonsmoking, but weed could be smelled next door and down the hall. The pull out sofa was gross. Mattress and mattress cover stained. Crumbs in the sofa. Pool was small and easily overcrowded. The grab and go breakfast was very limited and stocked low. I also found roaches in the bathroom.

Super convenient location and price. The couch was wet and had a smell. There were people behind the front desk sitting on It and leaning on It standing there talking, and when I asked for help they pointed at the bell on the desk, didn’t say a word to me. The lady that came when I rang the bell was nice.

The internet didn't work in our room (only slightly in the hallway). The TV and phone didn't work either. The sheets had stains and cigarette holes. The mattresses were very cheap and uncomfortable. When we pulled out the couch bed, there was no way to get to the bathroom so we had to move furniture. The woman working the front desk (9pm) was working so hard handling many tasks but still friendly. They may be understaffed. I needed to work on this trip and was unable to because of the internet issues. I spent an hour talking to tech support and they were not able to fix it. I would not return or recommend this hotel.

this is always a clean place to stay it's always pet friendly and family friendly and the rooms are always clean and cozy with the cute kitichettes the laundry is always exceptional and it's just a good place to stay for the right price

The oven had to be fixed we had to ask for clean towels or should I say trade our towels. very noisy ..doors slamming kids screaming. was always out of coffee in the mornings.. if you need dishes or cooking utensils, you have to pay a $40 deposit in cash and it’s all old stuff. if you’re on a budget, this is the place for you!!

Breakfast

there was an over all lack of attention to detail on the cleaning. The room we stayed in was mostly clean, but when you checked the corners along the baseboards behind the door, there were spiderwebs and dust clots. The breakfast was minimal. I might be mistaken if there was a thundering cord that was there before we got there and took all the food that would be one thing, but it looked like there wasn’t much to begin with. We had to go to someplace else to get breakfast for us and our kids. I imagine that for the low price this is what we get but as an Extended stay you would think that their house cleaning and other things would be a little bit better than it was.

Front Desk person was very helpful and understanding of the reasons for cancelation. The front desk person was way more helpful then the person I spoke with from booking.com. I was on hold with booking.com for at least 45 minutes just to be told they had to submit my request to cancel. The front desk person was able to speed up the process. Rooms were definitely not what was posted on the booking.com photos. There was bodily fluids and hair on the sheets of both beds, recliner had trash, fridge had dried liquids and you could tell it hadn't been cleaned, room provided was not what I reserved. Needless to say I will never trust booking.com for reservations. Our whole afternoon was lost dealing with the customer service and finding another place to stay for what was supposed to be our vacation. Very disappointed.

The place was fine the only problem was terrible bed and pillows.

Gave my family the wrong room. They did nothing, and just gave us the thinnest “ mattress “ to sleep on .

Everything! It was dirty, the room smelled like wet dog. There were stains everywhere! There were bugs on the wall. There was substa nce on the walls, furniture and beds! There were also people possibly dealing stuff.

Absolutely terrible experience, we booked for 3 nights and only ended up staying 1. Got in the first room and it was nasty, it had been cleaned but didn’t even look like it, smell of the room was awful. We got in the next room when I requested a new room and it was just about the same. Then we got a surprise and woke up with FLEAS all over us. Will not ever stay here again. The only good thing about this hotel is that the staff was helpful and nice.

The website offered hot breakfast when in reality it’s just a continental breakfast. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were hard. The TV kept messing up

We were not notified that this property is a transitional place for homeless going into a new apartment and some of the people staying at the hotel were pretty sketchy. When we would go out to the pool as paying guests, all of these people would be out there with their many kids and the guest couldn’t even enjoy being out there. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Their rooms were filthy and the room smelled musty.

The room was very clean and cool already. The staff was welcoming. The kitchen is very convenient for cooking home made meals. The laundry is also convenient and clean.

The property was dirty, there were people living at this facility not just vacationing. There were drug addicts walking around the property and swimming in the pool. There were intoxicated adults in the pool with young children. Our room phone, tv, remote, and shower head did not work.(they did replace the shower head) They clean once a week so you have to go trade in towels for new ones. We had to ask four times in one day to get new towels. There is no trash pick up so you have to walk to the dumpster if you fill your trash. There was hair in the coffee one morning and I turned around to show the front desk, not a single apology or anything they just said they would pour that one cup out for me. The breakfast is packaged cold muffins and that’s it. The washer worked which we used our last night since we had been to the beach all week, only to find out none of the dryers worked and we were forced to drive home 8 hours with a suitcase full of wet clothes.(no I did not get my money back for the $3 wash and the TWO 2.75 dryer cycles that did not work) The environment is extremely loud due to unattended children from people living there. The staff was not welcoming but almost inconvenienced by guest requests. It served its purpose with the full kitchen and the true fact of it comfortably sleeping six of us. But we will never go back and thankful we were only there at night.

When we first arrived to the hotel to check in, we almost decided to go somewhere else, as when we pulled in their was at least 4-5 cop cars outside. My husband went inside to check in and overheard the situation and he said it wasnt anything too bad so we decided to stay. A few days went on and then we had CPS knocking at our hotel room door over said incident that happened the night we checked in🙃.other than all of that craziness our stay was okayish.

The breakfast included was coffee, or was it coffee. If your trying to save a few bucks for an efficiency, look elsewhere and spend a few more bucks. The only positive for myself was the location.

Had trouble with our reservation so had to pay basically twice and wait for my money to get refunded but the staff was really helpful they are the reason why I keep coming back

The property condition was very poor. Mattresses were worn out, holes in the carpet, soft spots in the floor, broken dresser and staining on the ceilings from water leaks. Staff were kind and helpful.

The hot water in the showers didn’t work, rooms smelled like musk,hallways smelled like chemicals, bathrooms looked horrible, the pool looked like a jacuzzi instead of a pool, “(DEFINITELY DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT WASTE UR MONEY IN THIS MOTEL NOT WORTH IT)” NEVER AGAIN, oh and last and not lease the breakfast was old coffee and muffins that look like 3 day under the sofa muffins,DONT COME TO THIS MOTEL

Very old, outdated. Not enough lighting in the restroom, the towels were paper-thin, old, and we were given a very dirty or maybe stained towel. The sheets were stained, old - the cover between the sheets and the comforter was disgusting. Never again. The hallway smelled horrible. We were afraid to eat anything from the breakfast, knowing our room was not the best who knows what their kitchen was like since we can't see it. :( Sad to say we will not be staying there again

Stayed here last year and it was amazing, this time was different. They didn’t have towels for us to shower, there was mold in the bathroom and trash piled up in the first floor stairwell. The lady seemed mad when I wanted towels to take a shower and wanted me to wait until the morning and then ask me if I can call the front desk after I’m done using them so they can come and get them from me so they can wash them and I only ask for two towels after being at the beach and having sand on myself and my kids so we could get clean. I was really disappointed this time. I hope they fix it so we can stay again and love it like we did last time.

This is a clean, comfortable, affordable hotel in a convenient location.

The room had a wad of hair on the dirty, warped vinyl floor. Under the AC unit, the floor was spongy and depressed 3-4 inches. There were outlets with no covers, and the clock didn’t work. The couch was stained and the bathtub had mildew in the grout. There was a live roach. In order to have the dishes, pots, coffee pot, etc., I had to leave a $40 cash deposit. I took those back the next morning because I couldn’t bear to use them. The refrigerator had no adjustable knobs and froze my water bottles and cream stored on the door. The television never received signal for the two nights we were there, though 3 times the staff or “tv repairman” came up to fix it. The opening screen said “Embassy Suites Hotel” which was laughable. There was a single luggage cart, but getting it through the door was impossible for one person since the door had to be held open from the back while simultaneously lifting the front wheels up and over a 1-2” threshold. The sheets were a dingy gray instead of white. I am bound to be forgetting something! Suffice it to say, this place should be renamed the Never Again LAST Resort.

Room smelled like mildew, shower drain was awful and the cards to the door kept malfunctioning 3 times. I will not be staying there again.

Hotel needs major repairs and updates. Won’t go back to this one.

I love the staff they're extremely nice and respectful and accommodating but my room is dirty like I take my own cleaning stuff just in case so I had to clean it I moved furniture around there was like broken pieces of glass like from a light bulb that was busted but I almost cut myself on but other than that it was you know I love staying there
