Embassy Suites Corpus Christi

The bathroom has mold and our last night there was no hot water. The breakfast was really good and the bartender and drinks were great

Location was perfect, I had lived in Corpus Christi for 43 hrs, so I already knew that, but it's close to good food, shopping, etc. It's an older hotel, but it's been well cared for; my room, bath, was clean, hotel staff was great. Just wish I'd taken my home bed pillow!

The front desk guy is the most amazing person I’ve ever met in my life that does customer service.

Good Stay

The staff was very helpful and nice I didn’t like that the bar closed early every night I was there (before 9PM) the bartender a female was there everyone and I was told “she was closed” I never got to enjoy my complimentary drink!

The staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful received fast service. The furniture can use upgrades and plumbing was bad in the sink it wouldn't drain. The spa in the pool area was not cleaned water looked mirky. Other than that breakfast was great and bar service. The things can be fixed but overall would stay again

Hot tub looked like yellow gellow. However, the staff was excellent, listened and respected and responded. Got a new room, although the same as the other, was clean, no discolored of walls or bathrooms. Jake Owen’s and Nicole were awesome. 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 He actually condemned the room till further notice and took good care of us.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel it was very clean and the staff was so helpful. I really loved the fact that they have an indoor pool a bar and restaurant right in the hotel. I will definitely stay there in the future..

Loved the staff! I didn’t like the fact that according to the receptionist, there was an issue with checking-in. We arrived at 6 pm and got our room until around 9pm. We traveled and went directly to the beach all day and were expecting to check-in immediately and wind down. Our youngest was 3 years old and it was uncomfortable for him. Also, our room felt extremely humid and warm.

We liked the breakfast the bed was comfy. We didn't like the gym and a few stains throughout the room. I saw mold on the a/c vents and in the tub.

The staff was amazing. The person that checked us in was really nice to the kids. We missed the complimentary happy hour, so he treated the kids with little treats and was so nice to them. We were there for my grandsons surgery the next morning. This level of kindness and hospitality meant a lot to him. Every time he saw us, he greeted us by name. The breakfast was amazing. Our omelette chef was on point. The rest of the breakfast self-serve was delicious and well stocked.

We played games in the lobby.We did our laundry that was Affordable 2.00 for washer and 2.00 for dryer . I didn't like that beds are not made... which not a big deal I made it. Had to ask for towels and had to let them know our trash was full. Other than that it was nice.

Every year we come and stay at Embassy Suites the staff and room are amazing. Thank you so much for a comfortable stay.

It was a great stay! The evening male host at the front desk was the friendliest person I’ve ever met in customer service!!! He needs a raise or a bonus or both. The evening reception could’ve used more detail as we thought it was similar to the Drury Inns Kickback. But didn’t change the quality of our stay. The jacuzzi was out of service when we were there.

The front desk was amazing. The room was clean and the breakfast was great. My only complaint was the pool was overflowing with children at least 25 kids and only 2 adults in the pool. Very hard to enjoy and drinks were being spilled in the pool.

This place was disgusting, stains in the carpet and furniture. Rust water coming out of the shower, hair in the shower and bed. Horrible would not recommend at all

The breakfast was tasty hot and well prepared. Lines were a constant problem. The hotel was completely full but the staff was totally overwhelmed

Jacuzzi not working that’s a big part of why I chose this property, but breakfast and happy hour where second to none and hotel staff were excellent so I will keep them a 5 star review, hoping they make it up on my next stay.

The rooms were not well cleaned, the common areas/dinning areas were really hot, at times they didn’t have parking and the daily rooms cleaning was not done!!!

This was our eighth extended stay, 3 nights. It’s a throwback from the late 80s early 90s. Will definitely be back for ninth visit.

The hotel had Rusty himges on the bathroom door and rust in the tub. At 2:00 am the sink stopped up and toilet wound not flush. The front desk gave me a plunger and said maintenance was wasn't there. Also room wasn't cleaned until the day uou checked out. No trash or dirty towels were picked up. The reception and breakfast was very good.

I love staying here when I’m in Corpus. The rooms are clean and have a bedroom that’s separate from the sitting room. Rooms open to the atrium. It’s quiet and peaceful and staff is friendly and welcoming, you get a full breakfast with omelets cooked to order in the morning. Indoor pool is great for family trips. I highly recommend especially for families. I’ve stayed here for business and pleasure several times and am never disappointed.

Property needs overhaul.Remove carpet from the rooms go to vinyl flooring. Furniture needs to be replaced. Breakfast was ok omelets made the stay, but disappointed Hilton has not kept up their properties. Restrooms still had bathtubs very outdated. This will be my last stay at any Embassy suite properties. Back to Marriott and Hyatt. Im an interior designer call me I'll help you design better keys.

Room was great but the bathroom is extremely small.

Rooms and hotel were clean, staff is great we ask for extra towels we got them right away. Breakfast was great. Poor lil hotel is getting old needs an update. Bathroom and rooms are clean staff can only do so much. Tub had rust around the water faucet think it's just from wear and tear.

The stay overall was great, the rooms were clean, breakfast had variety of choices, I will definitely be returning in future stays.

I’ve stayed at plenty embassy’s and this one was the worst laundry room was dirty machines did not work , I needed towels cause they never brought me any the nexts cleaning day ! It was not a very nice friendly place I will never stay there again 😡

The sofa was uncomfortable and very low on towels.

Snacks very scarce the alarm rang in the middle of the night no communication or even an apology for the properties mistake it was not the best expierence

Shower was rusted didn’t seem like a usual Embassy the manager was very nice and helpful but it was full so could not move us to another room it was just ok experience

On the negative, the Hot tub wasn't clean & very lukewarm water even though we asked 2 days for them to make it actually warm, they never did. They should make a point to "shock" the water at night when closed as very cloudy. The room itself was very outdated, big red stain on carpet, the bathroom door very beat up, rusty hinges, rusty bathtub, peeling wallpaper in bathroom. The drapes weren't hooked at top corner (or broke, couldn't tell) The 2 little ottomans in living room were in bad shape, both torn on every corner. Room was supposed to be accessible, but only saw a bar in bathtub to make it so. Stayed there 2 years ago & didn't remember room looking this bad & Hot Tub was nice at that time. Last time for us staying there.

Everything was satisfactory.

Loved everything about the hotel, complimentary snacks in the room & drinks at the bar. Breakfast was good too! Room was very clean, front desk staff was super nice, no issues during our stay and the kids loved the indoor pool.

Check in was a little slow and didn’t really like that we had to wait till 4:00 for check in. Otherwise was a great stay and breakfast was great

The room was dusty. The bathroom toilet had hairs on it including the bathroom door. The shampoo bottle pump was empty and also had long hair stuck on the pump. I haven’t stayed on an embassy suites in a long time but I will not recommend this hotel to anybody nor will I return. I will continue to stick to Hyatt Regency and Loews Hotels.

Was very disappointed that the pool was down as this was one of the reasons we picked this hotel. It was very loud and not clean happy hour was great and the breakfast was good.

The night we stayed there , the light between the beds did not work nor the plugs that were in the light:( The pool area was not open. The best part was the breakfast buffet:) there were a few spots (mold looking) in the shower area on the ceiling.

Also doors got stuck alot. And so many bathroom noises. So loud. It was horrible. Room never got cold cold.

The breakfast was spectacular, but the rooms are really old. The staff was amazing, but it is a poorly cared property. I hope they would remodel, because I love Embassy Suites

Breakfast was great, hot tub was closed. The only thing make sure you only reserve the days you need. I did my booking for two days then I cancel within a few days before and I was told by Expedia that my reservation had been updated to one day stay but I did mention to the person that if I wasn’t going to be able to get my money back not to cancel. Well they cancel anyways and I paid for two day and only stayed one day listen learn.

We love staying at Hilton hotels especially Embassy suites but this one in corpus is not what we expected. The hotel looks very old and the rooms look very outdated. The employees taking care of the breakfast acted very strange when asked a question and did not have very good hygiene from what I saw. The water from the pool looked very cloudy like if it had not been cleaned in a long time. The aire condition was not working. This hotel really does not look or feel like a hilton we checked out early and left the the Quinta Inn which was much nicer.

We encountered several problems one major problem was the AC not working correctly in our room we let them know and they said they could’ve offered us a fan, but fans were already all distributed out to other hot rooms super unacceptable for the price we paid. We stay there every year for Easter weekend this year was super disappointing. If they have these issues they should be fixed. This is a big nice hotel for Corpus Christi. We were super disappointed.. great Staff but come on how can we sleep in a hot room we’re not in a Third World country! Pool was closed to Maintenance on a holiday weekend again super disappointing!

I felt like I was staying at the Motel 6 and NOT the Embassy. We paid a considerable amount of money to have a lot of the stuff not working or available.

I really enjoyed this stay. Rooms were spacious, breakfast was great & staff was friendly.

Nice accommodations; with good breakfast offerings and evening reception. Very helpful staff and quiet rooms.

The hot tub was closed for maintenance which was disappointing because that was a big factor when deciding which hotel we were going to go with. The pool was filthy. The water was very murky, and when we dove under water we saw a LOT of chunky nastiness that could’ve only been throw up. It was there for days along with clumps of hair and a couple old band-aides. I do not know how often the pool is serviced/checked but my guess is not often. The rooms are a little dated, but overall in decent shape. Pillows/bed very comfortable. The first night we had no hot water. We found out after swimming at the beach and then in the nasty pool. We were offered no discount. We stayed with our dog and there was a large pet relief area. Probably wouldn’t stay again

Location is good, very convenient. Next to the freeway but can’t hear it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Gym is decent with enough to get by. However, the condition of the building is in terrible shape. Carpet is really worn, toilet bowl has dark black ring under the rim. Spa is broken. Hot water was off for the whole building for one day. Dresser drawers are worn out and vinyl is bubbled, tv is 20 yo LcD (i had one). Furniture is really worn, pillow is flat. One elevator is broken for our 5 day stay. Everything is outdated. Breakfast is good.

The ice machine on our floor, closest to our room was broken and evidently for some time. Pool was nice but a little on cool side for a heated pool. Breakfast, evening drinks and snacks were great. Bartender was great at giving advice on some great hangout places.

Great service

The breakfast is alway top tier! The service is great and staff are so friendly! The showers could use a deep clean, there was mold in the grout and grime in the shower lining.

Place has gone downhill DRASTICALLY over the few years. Dirty rooms, whole bottom floor smelled like marijuana. And was hot in courtyard. Don’t get me started about the rooms.

Needs a lot of work. Rooms smell - not in a good way- got reprimanded by front desk for opening the window. Place reminds me of a converted airplane hangar.

Friendly staff and clean room

The staff is awesome. The room was great. But since the holidays we have noticed corners being cut. The ceramic coffee cups and plates are gone. The stainless steel utensils are nearly all gone. They put two trash bins in the middle of their beautiful common area. They are losing their uniqueness.

Great Stay.When we first arrived we were greeted by very friendly staff that make you feel welcomed.Easy check in.Rooms were clean,Breakfast was Amazing with the Best made to order Omelettes.We really appreciated the complementary 2 drinks in the evening and my children LOVED the pool!The Rooms are a bit older but very clean.Overall Amazing Stay and would definitely book again.

Hotel outside the room is good, but the room itself is not. All furniture, finish, equipment, and fixtures are dated or outdated. I asked front desk staff to have an updated room, the answer was that all rooms are old and in the same condition.

Best hotel ever!!! Great amenities. Cant say enough good things about the staff. So incredibly kind and gracious. We were so impressed. Free buffet breakfast and evening snacks and adult drinks!!! We will definitely be back!!

Actually it was better then good but if I put excellent then it might appear no improvement is needed. We should always work to be better. I have no complaints. The staff was very good and helpful.

The staff is wonderful

One of my favorite places to stay. The room could have been a little cleaner, and it had a sort of mildew musty smell. But once the AC was turned on the smell was not as noticeable.

This is my all time favorite hotel. The staff is superb and the perks are worth the stay! Jacob is our favorite person! He is so friendly and always remembers me and my friend, by name!! We always have a room request that they grant. The evening reception (Crystal) and made to order omelets (Joe) are great! I will continue to go to this hotel when visiting Corpus! It's so stress free!

Great service at check-in, clean rooms, loved the body wash and shampoo in the bathroom, beds could have been softer, husband had some back pain from the bed. But loved all the perks from our stay from the entertainment hours to breakfast.

Front desk staff was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The room was in great shape and above expectations. The property seems very nice.

When we went to check in, the clerk didn’t find our name and after almost an hour the continued to say they were all booked. So we didn’t even stay. Yall kept my money and I had no choice but to look for another hotel. When I asked for a refund, due to me not even staying at the hotel, all they offered was a partial credit for a room. Like what? Who does that!!

We visited for the Christmas holiday, 24th-27th. We absolutely love the way the staff treats us. (We stay there often.) From the front office, room service, bartenders, & kitchen staff, all are professional and warm. The rooms are cozy too. You can’t go wrong with this hotel.

Hotel was good. The guy who checked me in was welcoming and friendly. The lady who checked me out was cold and not friendly. And I was not given a final bill, so I still don’t know how much my stay cost. I was told by her that “we have no idea of the cost on our end, that is totally through Expedia.” That doesn’t seem right.

Great place to stay at Christmas. Decent breakfast and always a friendly staff. Clean rooms and quiet.
