Great place to stay, my only complaint was our room have a weird smell. I let them know when we left and they apologized for it. I didn’t complain before because the hotel was sold out due to it being so close to the college. It was move in weekend for the college, the reason we were there.

Our staying at the hotel was great! Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is clean and the beds are very comfortable! Definitely we’ll stay here again in the future.

Front desk staff, particularly Angel, was warm, welcoming, helpful and accommodating.

But few of the room amenities can be improved. Specially if you are planning to take a shower, recommend to carry your own body wash.

The room was large and comfortable. The bed had a nice thick mattress (my only small negative would be the small, tall pillows). The breakfast included a waffle iron, cereals, fruit, eggs, sausage, bread etc... It was clean and nice. The staff was very courteous as well. The price was very affordable. I highly recommend.

We have been coming to this hotel for the last 10 years. We are on our third child at TAMUCC. It’s the only place we stay at and the people are so nice and the rooms are always clean.

Great location and comfortable bed. (1) Dirty bathroom, had urine on floor next to toilet. (2) Leak in shower area. Had to put towel on floor so it wouldn’t leak as bad. (3) Forgot a set earrings in bathroom and didn’t get them back.

Overall, our stay was good once we got rid of the roach. It was a good place for a quick, overnight stay.

CLEAN rooms, room service was great, AM manager never seemed to be around to help, cleaning staff was helpful. They will not let you check in early, even if rooms are available. Breakfast was good, but they only had one person cleaning and refilling. Seemed like they weren’t expecting the amount of people that were there. Pool was decent. Needed some attention. Location is great - just down the street from Ocean St. and Padre Island without being too far away from regular amenities.

We expended three nights in total, the next morning after the first night we found an issue where the floor carpet was wet next to the ac unit. I notify the front desk and they were able to accommodate us on another room very quickly. Their maintenance person jump right a way in the issue, everything was nice and smooth.

Our stay was great! The room was spacious and comfortable. I can not brag on the lady who checked us in enough. She was very friendly and helpful. The best experience our whole trip.

Pillows were very hard and the guy who checked us in wasn't friendly at all!

The size of the rooms and the comfortable beds Rust in shower, stains on bedding/curtains. Also wet carpet by the a/c in a couple rooms.

The hotel was very well situated for our trip to Corpus Christi. Beach 15 minutes one way down town 15 minutes the other. Breakfast was very good with good variety.

Second time we stay here for a weekend getaway for my wife and me. Great on everything, but the beds are awesome. Almost as good as home.

The property was beautiful! The staff were so welcoming and helpful.

But overall the housekeeping lady was very nice and attentive!

It was a decent place. Booked queen sized beds but they were double. Pool was small and there’s no jacuzzi; on the ad it shows a jucuzzi. Breakfast wasn’t great. Limited selection on breakfast. Only 3 machines at the fitness and no weights. TV were not modern, can’t stream from my phone.

I loved that the room was really cold clean and well maintained.

Traveled with my family for a beach trip, it fit us perfectly. The pool was clean, room clean, beds comfy. And the breakfast was good. Would stay again.

First time staying as a guest with them, but it won’t be the last. Everything was on point and we loved the comfort of their bed. We slept like babies.

For breakfast there was a variety of items to choose from and it was good. We had problems with the bath tub drainage, and we had to personally get the dressing for the sofa bed. We did state we were having a certain amount of guests in the room for our visit. Hint the sofa bed was going to be used, and still the room was not equipped with the dressings for the sofa bed nor did they have extra pillows. They did provide the items after going to the front desk to ask for the items. There

Breakfast was good. Service was good. Location was good. The sofa bed was not adequate at all. The mattress was old, dirty, and lacked any support whatsoever. The bedding didn’t fit, the blanket was old, not soft, and thin. No pillow offered, and when asked for, received with no pillowcase. Definitely a bad set up.

Had a great time at this location. Was only there for one night but staff was helpful. They got us in early and helped with more towels when we hung out at the pool for the evening. Only issues we had were that there was no outlet outdoors for charging phones(no biggie), and housekeeping trying to get into room before we were ready to check out. Would definitely stay again.

I have no complaints about the staff—they were friendly and professional throughout our visit. My concerns were with the condition and comfort of the room. There was hair in the shower (that definitely wasn’t ours) when we arrived, the bed had a noticeable crater in the middle that made it uncomfortable to sleep on, and the couch was worn and uncomfortable as well. The complimentary breakfast was also disappointing. It was unappetizing to watch guests use their bare hands to grab bagels and sausage, which made us uncomfortable enough that we skipped breakfast the second morning and chose to eat elsewhere. It’s disappointing because we had such a positive experience during our previous stay, but based on this visit, we won’t be booking with Comfort Suites again.

LET ME JUST SAY THAT UP FRONT. I actually think this is probably one of the best hotels for the money in corpus . I definitely would stay here every time I come to corpus which is about twice to three times a month, BUT....... The owners of this hotel are extremely anti i second amendment and Constitution. They've got a stupid sign at the front of their door that reads 3006, no one is allowed to carry a firearm on them inside of this building which is a very huge disappointment. I don't give my money to places that don't believe in the second amendment. Especially when I got my wife and babies with me. It's a disgrace and I was extremely disappointed so I will never ever spend my money at this hotel again. But that's the only thing that was wrong with this place such a disappointment. I fought way too hard to represent for the Constitution and the second amendment for some stupid sign to be posted at the entrance stating how unconstitutional the owners want to be. It's extremely disappointing and absolutely unnecessary. If it wasn't for that stupid sign posted on the front entrance I would give this place five stars and spend my money here all year round but I'll take my business elsewhere and spend an extra 50 bucks.

Very clean room, hotel was excellent and the beds were very comfortable and relaxing,, we stay here once a year on are vacation to the beach on north padre island ,, and the location is great spot!

Hotel is clean close enough to the beach 20 min drive staff very knowledgeable of the areas and have good recommendations to visit for first time visitor.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the ac worked good and was not noisy. Felt the room could have been cleaner but overall a good stay.

Love staying here. Very convenient location to everything I want to do in Corpus. Very minor thing, the stairs were a bit dirty with litter/food.

The guests that stayed at the hotel were very loud, yelling in the hallways opening and slamming the doors. This went on for the entire evening. I will not stay here again.

Room is clean but breakfast could be better. There is only one lady refilling breakfast all the time and she works really hard to keep up with people. She needs someone to help her.

The room was very clean. The closet was a little difficult for me to find, only because my arrival was close to 10:00 p.m. and the closet had a full length mirrored door. I mistook it for a full length mirror, which there was already one in the room. LOL! The staff was very courteous for my short stay. I will definitely be back!

Clean room was more spacious than imagined. Breakfast was okay. Restroom could use a little update and the pull out bed. The pull out bed also uncomfortable.

The property is outdated. The breakfast buffet was subpar. The staff was commendable for providing additional blankets and towels as required. However, there was a severe rainstorm, resulting in water leakage through the windows and into the room.

The air conditioning worked fabulously. I called the front desk for extra blankets and they were delivered within 5 minutes. The breakfast was easy to access and fresh daily.

Carpet was and looked dirty. Corridor on 2nd floor smelled like sewage. Some of that smell was seeping in the room too.

Excellent location near Texas A & M University! The front desk staff was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable! The fitness room is small with automated lights that went off frequently, so I worked out partially in the dark. The continental breakfast at 8:30-ish was not well stocked, although it was a crowded weekend of commencements and other events. The hot water was not hot, so you need to heat it up in one small microwave oven. The rooms were very clean with great supplies, but the closets I guess were too hidden for me and the A/C unit would not turn off so I unplugged it. The suite was spacious and comfortable!

Old outdated rooms breakfast was not stocked when we went down at 9 am. My shower wouldn’t drain properly. The tub was all chipped and rusted.

Good well-maintained hotel. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. Staff at reception are distracted. When I checked out, there was no one at the reception and I left my key cards on the desk and left. Other than that, it is a great hotel to stay in.

This appears to be an older property and is due some catch-up maintenance. It sets next to a major highway and is very noise! Very noise!!

They woke us up at 9:55am we were fast asleep. Check out was at 11:00am. Don’t understand why they knocked at that time! We were very unhappy

This hotel is a good value. It's not new, and there are small maintenance issues. My room had a sluggish toilet and a flickering light in the entryway. Nothing was to a level that I couldn't bear it. I didn't want anyone in my room while I was there, and I forgot to tell management. I do wish I could have chosen the room temp I wanted though. It won't adjust below 68, and I like to seep with a pretty cold room. That said, I would stay here again.
