If you are visiting Corpus Christi with the intent of visiting the USS Lexington or the Aquarium this little hotel could not be in a better possible location! From the hotel you are literally steps away from the walkway directly onto the ship & just about a 3 min walk to the aquarium. Additionally, you are right next door to a great patio seafood restaurant / bar with live music called Pier 99. The host of the hotel, Natalya, was very nice & helpful & gave a tour of the space with clear instructions on all the operation of AC, TV, etc...Bonus the place is pet friendly & Natalya was especially welcoming to our little dogs! I'd highly recommend this place for the convenient location, clean spacious room, & great owner.

The room was clean but there were ants on the bathroom sink and they were coming in from the gap underneath the door. The a/c was cold but it didn't blow high so the room wasn't all that cool.

What I loved more about the property is the owner/administrator Natalia. She is a very good person and makes you feel good. She even gave my daughter a snow cone for free and she gave us her phone number in case we needed something while in the hotel.. She gave us an extra sheet for the bed and also what I liked about the place is that it has a very good spirit because she is a good person I will definitely come back to that hotel again. The closeness to the beach was amazing. The rooms are clean and very cool. Good A/C. Thank you.

This hotel is a great place to avoid the crowds and the prices of downtown or right on the beach. Capri is located on North Beach, on the north side of the Causeway, so it's a bit of a drive but worth it. The hotel is clean, quiet, and my room (the Continental) was spacious and had a large deck overlooking the water and the Lexington in the distance. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The only downside was limited parking - no lot of their own but several metered spots and some lots nearby. If you are lookng for a funky, off-the-beaten-track at a great price, this is the place for you.

The location was great and the view of the USS Lexington was wonderful. The room should have been a lot cleaner. The bathroom did not appear to have been cleaned thoroughly. Floors should have been mopped. There appeared to be a lot of unfinished construction.

Excellent location. Natalya (or Natalie? so sorry bad with names) was awesome and so nice. My only complaints are the parking situation(no designated hotel parking) and our tv speaker was blown out so watching tv wasn't the greatest but other than that we had a great stay. Would definitely stay again 😁

I hotel was right on the beach looking straight at the USS Lexington. We were able to walk to restaurants and the aquarium. The lady running the hotel was very nice and accommodating to our schedule. The only complaint I have was trying to figure out the meter for parking. We found an area that we could park and then move closer to the hotel in the evening hours if we needed to. Everything else was great.

We loved the beach front property! Natalya was very helpful and made sure we knew everything we needed to know. We loved that our 2 chihuahuas were welcome as well! Our hostess, Natalya, was a joy and saw to our every need. Kiki, our miniature poodle loved the deck outside our room and so did we. It is the perfect place to view the USS Lexington CA-16 and watch the pelicans diving for fish just offshore. Next door to Pier 99, an outstanding place for fish with a great local history. Not much. This is our kind of place; not a sanitized high rise hotel, but a real Mom and Pop treasure.

The room size and it's location were excellent. But, on the second day there were small ants crawling. And on checkout day at 9:00 Am the air conditioner, microwave's power shutoff,as well as the toilet would not flush. So we left at 9:30Am. When checkout time 11Am.

It's located around some of the main attractions in Corpus Christi that are all in walking distance. Such as North beach, the aquarium and the USS Lexington. It is also surrounded by several restaurants such as Pier 99 which is literally right next door to the hotel. We stayed in the Lexington suite which is there biggest room with its own private balcony. I would definitely swing for this. It has a fantastic view and is very spacious for a couple or even a family of 4. The hostess is very lovely and attentive if you need her and she has an ice cream shop down below which is delicious. We already plan to go back in June. That is how great it was. To say I didn't like anything is hard to say, if anything I did not care for the old school coffee maker. I mean it works just fine, I am just a keurig person lol.

The only thing I liked was that it was very nicely decorated, different from standard rooms I've stayed at before. Smelled very nice. The bed was VERY uncomfortable, one side lifted if we sat on the other side. It was also very noisy when we moved. The worst part was we killed 2 huge roaches in our room. Also not a very nice area surrounding the hotel.

We absolutely LOVED our room, and the property! Natalya is so nice, and since there were so few rooms booked, originally offered us our choice of rooms, but we decided to stick with the one we had booked. Bed was VERY firm, which was great on the wife's back, tub is DEEP, and the location is absolutely perfect since 2 of the things we wanted to do were go to the USS Lexington and the Texas State Aquarium. It's peaceful, relatively quiet, and right on North Beach, so the views are amazing. Really enjoyed having our morning coffee & breakfast on the back deck. 100% would stay again!

I loved my two nights here. This is not a corporate hotel: it's quirky and interesting. Meticulously clean, but a little battered, kind of like all of us. Easy walk to the aquarium, right next door to the ramp to the USS Lexington, right next door to Pier 99 (yes, I went for lunch and then again for dinner, amazing food and so pleasant outdoor seating). Loved my room. Bed was comfy; shower had insane water pressure and wonderful hot water; floors were hard wood (or something), not skanky carpet. Fabulously interesting view of the beach and Bay, with the Lexington RIGHT THERE. The owner/manager was very responsive, but be aware that there's no front desk, you'll need to text with her to coordinate check in. Also no good coffee in walking distance (short of paying the aquarium entrance fee to get to the cafe there, which I considered), so make sure you're prepared.

Natalya and her daughter were amazing people to meet and extremely kind. They made it feel like home away from home. The AC works GREAT, especially in that humid environment. You have a microwave and mini fridge which was nice. They run the ice cream/snowcone stand at the hotel. It is on the waterfront in front of the Lexington which was great. There are a few food places, one Pier 99 next door, Blackbeards and Yo Philly. There is a gas station on that side of town but they do close early. The Texas State Aquarium is just a block over. We went for the baseball games at Whataburger field, which is right across the bridge. There is a jetty right in front of the hotel where you can walk out in front of the Lex and enjoy the sounds of the waves. They have construction all around due to the new bridge they are putting in so after the two days I finally figured out where to go. It was a little bit of a hassel but well worth the time. The beach had some jellyfish wash up so watch out during this time of year. While I like the homey feel, the bed was a bit creaky and springy.

The owner, Natalya, was wonderful! She is also who keeps your room for you! VERY clean, well-kept, secure, & quiet (yes even with Peir 99 having live music every night!) Bed was comfy with 4 king size pillows. We stayed in the Western room & the AC was very nice. The spa shower was a great plus except the jets for the tub in that particular room need to be fixed, but def no reason to not enjoy your stay there! So much privacy and a wonderful view of the sunrise! There is a super sweet resident cat there named Pippen who has been there since birth 12yrs ago & she greeted us every day! Capri is also animal friendly as long as you have a well behaved furbaby! I can NOT say enough good things about this place. We stay in hotels every weekend for work & in the last year this place was BY FAR the best. Please note she does not do a breakfast or anything, but provides fresh coffee for your room everyday! There isnt much for a fast breakfast on the island except What-A-Burger...plan to drive to Portland (about a 10 to 15 min drive for fast food). We will def be back here on holiday soon rather than work & looking forward to staying in one of her other beautifully decorated rooms!

The hotel has a “home-y” feel to it. The owner meets you face to face when you check in. Don’t let the weathered exterior of the building fool you. The interior of the rooms look as if they’ve been fully renovated recently. Choose from 5 different themed bedrooms that are truly decorated with a home-styled touch. New ACs and a ceiling fan keeps you out of the Texas heat and the Gulf’s humidity. Very spacious units compared to a lower rate hotel. This is a prime location for sightseeing the Lexington or the aquarium. Oh, and did I mention it’s right on the beach AND next to a fishing pier. You’re missing out if you don’t book here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night get away to the Capri Beach Hotel. Natalya is awesome and so attentive to her guests. The exterior of the hotel is in need of some sprucing up, but the effect of hurricanes takes time and money. Our room was perfect! The cleanest room we have ever had anywhere. It was immaculate. The nautical decor was fun, the room welcoming and comfortable. The balcony was a great spot to just hang out. As others have said, the USS Lexington was at our doorstep. The beach mere feet away. And the TX State Aquarium just a short walk up the street. There were plenty restaurants nearby so once the car was parked it did not need to leave for 3 days. Parking was by meter unless you found a free spot. An 8 hour day (parking is free after 6 pm) was $8, plus a fee of .35 to put the parking on a credit card. Was easy to add parking at 8 am the next day to the credit card for another full day. Oh, and free ice cream for guests!! That was an unexpected pleasure. The resident cat was a joy as well being open to petting from strangers. Can't say enough about our time there. We will definitely be back for such a nice, relaxing hotel on the beach in North Beach. Thank you, Natalya!

The room had a plug-in air freshener and I am allergic. I had to unplug it and leave the door open for over an hour. I had a headache and cough for that night and the next day. I am female and was alone, it was a little scary needing to keep the door open. The hot water would not stay on in the shower, I kept getting blasts of cold water. Individual toiletries were not supplied and the partially filled bottles of shampoo and body wash that were supplied were dirty. I could not stay for the remaining 2 days of my booking because of the conditions there and could not get a response from Hotels.com. After I talked to the Manager about my issues with the air freshener, she refunded my night's stay and canceled the next two nights reservations. My parking was only on-site and free because I have handicap permit.

Nice place to stay for the price point. Parking sucked, paid for 8 hours of parking we left to go eat and our spot was taken when we came back by someone else and was told you have to leave your car parked in the spot you pay for. But the owner did make it right with us.

We enjoyed our stay at Capri. Natalya was very helpful and welcoming. The facility doesn't have any amenities but we didn't care because the beach is just right there. The view from our balcony was great. Most of all, it's a dog friendly place. It's walking distance to restaurants, shops and the aquarium. The furnitures need some updating and the TV in the living room could have been bigger. We would have enjoyed our vacation even more if the weather cooperated. It was cloudy the 3 days we stayed in Corpus Christi. We would love to stay at Capri again in the future.

The most important thing for us was to find a pet-friendly hotel and it’s not that easy, because most of the places have so many restrictions, but not Capri Beach Hotel. Natalia made us ( including 70lbs puppy) feel really welcome! This hotel is nice and clean. Close to all the places you would want to go. Definitely recommend it!

Great staff. Natalya was very knowledgeable of the area and sights.,This establishment is steps from the beach , the Lexington , and the aquarium. It’s an older establishment but when you see all you have it doesn’t seem to matter . Very clean .

Not a traditional hotel. No front desk. Only one person on sight. Really nice though, one on one service. Outside is older and kind of run down but the room was well kept and very nice. Great view! Parking isn’t great. Probably a pain on the weekends as there is no hotel parking but have to use public parking in the area. Not a big deal but a little inconvenient. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely use this hotel again.

Great location, nice, clean, comfortable room. The owner was very nice and customer focused. There was some road construction going on in the front but finding parking was not a problem. We will absolutely stay here in the future.

The location of the Capri was great, but a lot of construction was going on at the time. Very limited parking and the Lexington Museum visitors made parking a chore. Rooms are neat and clean and service is great.

Natalya is an absolutely fantastic host and was so sweet to our dog, Jack. There is road work going on in front of the hotel but that is not a fault of the property and once it's all done, it should make walking and driving down there even better!

The location is amazing!!! Miss Natalya is a very nice, caring and considerate person. She was honest and straightforward about the construction currently going on outside her premises. My grandkids, daughter and myself loved it, I absolutely would return at a later time.

however the continental breakfast was pretty lame. Just prepackaged foods. You could toast bagels, and get some coffee. it was better than nothing, but only just. they warned that the parking was bad. they were bad. One stair to get to our room, and you had to walk around the building to get to it. it was difficult getting our stuff in and out. however the location is amazing, and the lexington looks amazing at night. However they really need to fix the lighting in the inner court yard. thankfully there was a room out, but at night the stair was not lit up and felt hazardous.
