Hyatt Place Austin Cedar Park

The first night Wednesday we were locked out of our room for about an hour and it was hot and miserable, while we waited to get another room without any of our items and most importantly our medications, we stayed 3 nights, the last day Friday the electricity/ power went out, no internet for about 2 hours as I was in the middle of trying to print out some paperwork that was time sensitive. We had no choice but to wait it out. From the first incident the girl from the front desk stated that we would be compensated for the first night and we were ok with that but at checkout it was a different story and we were not compensated at all and we were told to call the manager as he doesn’t work weekends. It was a terrible experience as we were there for a funeral and the heat was in the three digits.

My stay at this hotel and the room was great the first night. On the second night, however, the AC shut off and wouldn’t turn back on, leaving the room uncomfortably hot. Other than that issue, the stay was really nice—but the lack of air conditioning was a deal breaker for me.

The one thing that I felt was very inconvenience was no microwave in the room. Also the location was inconvenience because of road construction in the area there was nothing with in walking distance. I didn't have a car and would have like being able to walk to a restaurant or a store It would have been nice if the hotel had more available staples for purchase, such as milk.

We stayed here while we were in town for a wedding. Every part of our stay was great. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The room stayed nice and cool. We had our small dog with us and I felt safe leaving her in the room while we were out. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was old and dirty. Bed was horrible! Had to sleep my head at the foot of the bed because the mattress was so lumpy and a hole that I couldn't move. Killed my back. Ice machines only on 2nd and 4th floors, inconvenient for first floor members. Bad for a Hyatt. Won't stay here again.

Hotel was nice clean and quiet. Bar was good. Advertised restaurant wasn't a restaurant, basically a quick grill that was out of hamburgers and pizza toppings. Only thing available was cold sandwiches. Pool nice and clean. Good location.

Clean room- accommodating staff- everything as expected for an over night stay- they had a little bar - I did have a Chicken Ceasar- don’t recommend having food - possibly microwaved or air fried - eat across the street for a better fare-

AC is on a motion sensor, which is a really bad idea in Texas. Our room was often so hot, humid, and weird smelling when we were away from it, the carpet practically felt spongy at times because of the humidity. It would also cycle off sometimes at night which made sleeping really uncomfortable. The front desk was incredibly unhelpful about stuff like this and didn’t seem to care. Also our tv remote didn’t work, no info about WiFi or tv channels, and the mattress pad was made for a smaller size bed so detached underneath the fitted sheet and wadded up underneath us. I would never stay here again, it was way too much money for the value. The staff didn’t even ask how the stay was when we checked out. These people have zero effs to give about their guests. And the breakfast sucks.

The king suite was roomy but, was for a disabled person. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut and there was visible mold on our ceiling. In spite of paying a little more for an “upgraded” room it was just a place to sleep.

The overall stay, was very good. It was my wifes bday, day before I called and asked if I could drop off flowers and a card, and have them put in the room before our arrival. The young lady at the desk said she would take care of it. She did (tell her thank you please)! Only issue we had was the TV. We could not get regular TV. We had to stream, which in return we drained our phone batteries, because we forgot our wall charger and the hotel only has usb, not usb-c to usb-c. I know, first world problems.... the TV was the only problem. We will be back. Awesome staff, clean nice Hotel.

Clean room and property. Room has a coffee maker with a cup, but no coffee and it requires a special type of pod (not the common one). Lighting in the room is not very bright.

Fair warning that one of the bars across the street likes its live music LOUD. But everything else about the hotel was great.

We come to Cedar Park frequently. Have stayed in almost all the hotels around, and we really like this one! Room is laid out well, plenty of room, and quiet. Pricing was good also. We will be back.

As normal in Texas people are free and comfortable to talk with strangers and guests. Rooms were nice and if you like hearing music this hotel is located next door to a fabulous outdoor concert venue

The Hyatt Cedar Park is in a beautiful area, and the property itself is clean, modern, and a great value, especially with free parking and a convenient location. My room met expectations, but the staff experience was inconsistent: Monday’s front desk team was excellent, while Tuesday night and Wednesday morning service felt inattentive and lacking in hospitality. The complimentary breakfast was fine for being included, but the powdered eggs were a big disappointment for me. Overall, I would rate it 3 stars because the hotel itself is solid, but service and attention to detail need improvement.

The hotel was great and the room was very clean. Our only slight complaint was the breakfast was exactly the same everyday of our stay and was cold even at 6:30am when breakfast starts and bread and bagels were stale and hard. The offerings where a little strange for breakfast as well as meatballs, chicken and bean burritos, and salad are not what I would call breakfast. we did enjoy the scrambled eggs and Texas shaped waffle.

AI don't think the room had been vacummed. There was glitter throughout the carpet.

Main entrance under construction, hard to get in and out of. Staff was great but our room, ac didnt work so it got hot. Room service missed our room 3 days but first world problem. Staff was great and resolved all the issues besides the ac issue

First room on first floor tub filled with bugs. Then it’s across from concert venue and they give out earplugs, luckily only was the one weekend night. And generally staff was pretty apathetic front desk about the original room issues.

Great experience with all staff! Great amenities! Down side there were too many young kids running around without adult supervision in lobby/bar area.

The door to our hotel room needed to be closed twice before the lock would latch. The bathroom door is similar to a farm door, but wouldn't lock as it didn't align with the threshold. Otherwise, beds and couch were comfortable. Clean building. Breakfast was good. Simple srcamble eggs, boiled eggs, sausage, burritos, waffles, childrens cereal, OJ and apple juices, oatmeal. Location is near major highways. Free parking.

Upon checking in, the receptionist said nothing other than asked for a credit card. No hours of breakfast, WiFi info, nothing to make you feel welcome. Pretty forgettable experience.

Hotel is beat up. Mattresses are horrible. Lights in room would turn off and on especially in the bathroom. Hard to take a shower in the dark. Front desk staff were not pleasant and rude.
